and THEN I got bit by a bug that said "Chicago house?" What if I could contrive a situation such that Edward and Bella could get married in Chicago? In a little old church just a few blocks from the house he grew up in. That he inherits from himself every few years. Which would be kept in good order and have minor updates made but stay true to the time period in which it was originally. And what if he had it fully furnished and decorated and stocked and they spent the night there before leaving on their honeymoon. And what if they lived there while Bella was human for a few years. What if it was restorative and healing for Edward to do that. What if he took this house that he had owned and not known what to do with or why he kept it. And what if he began to restore it as he fell in love hardly knowing what he was doing. What if the house was a metaphor for the humanity inside him brought back to life by the power of Bella's love for him?

Something tells me that the current Poptropica creators knew Rumpelestiltskin was the only good part of FTI, which is why they tried to milk his popularity.

There's nothing wrong with a character being used for marketing. As long as they have an actual character, and a good story to back it up.

I don't mind characters like Oliver being used for marketing (although I wish Mya and Jorge got the same amount, lol) because he has an actual character, and an actual good story to back it up.

Rumpel's character is entertaining, and he is an intimidating villain, he's got a good design. They just didn't do much with him in the actual island, most likely because the island itself was barely an island. Other villains at least have a more impactful story.

And then the weird extended FTI plot on Home Island didn't help... mostly because it didn't go anywhere, so it felt like a waste of time. They could've used the time and energy they put into that to make actual islands...

What I'm trying to say is that Rumpelstiltskin is a good enough character, but he doesn't have a good story to justify his oversaturation.

I find it kind of interesting that since it's been a couple of years since this all went down, we're able to look at it in a different light. I guess the whole year-long hiatus, Shutdown Hoax, Poptropica moving to Coolmath Games and refusing to update made us more critical of modern Poptropica 🤔

Random Dragonfable Theory : the Twin Dragons and Hawkscry

So, a while back, the DF devs posted this Pantheon Chart

So a bit of time ago I decided to take a stab at it, with... mixed results

However, the one I'm currently focusing on is this one

Clearly, the two green squares made alongside the Avatars by the Aequilibria are the Twin Dragons. However, this singular square beneath them bothered me... a lot. I couldn't find a proper idea of what it could possibly be And then, an idea struck me Let's go back to a poem that was the source of a previous theory of mine for me : the Hawkscry Calamity Poem

The first three animals are references to Mechquest and GEARS, right? But what about the Dragon. A reference to their disappearance in MQ? Maybe, but... how does it relate to Hawkscry But, there is something else that relates to dragons and disappearances

The twin's first Death, directly described by GenoKratos and implied by a book in the Falconreach Libraseum So, to recap Hawkscry's destruction, according to the AF2 Poem, involved a dragon, somehow, somewhere, and it resulted in this dragon's disappearance The Twin's first death was also explicitly described as a disappearance, with the source of their death unknown What if these two are linked? What if whatever caused Hawkscry's destruction also resulted in the death of one or both of the Twins. What if they were actively responsible for Hawkscry's destruction, or were simply present and caught in the explosion. Of course, all of this could be circumstantial evidence, nothing concrete... however there is one more thing that has been on my mind. And it's the text that appears if you hover your mouse over the Fissure in the Travel Map

Random short rant inspired by a plethora of things that I just wanna post lol

When people say, "It takes a village to raise a kid," I'm not entirely sure they understand that it takes a village

The village does not stop at your grandmother or your aunt. The village includes that college student who helped your kid up after they fell on the playground. The village includes the sweet old man telling your kid stories while you try and figure out the bus map. The village includes the high schooler who helped when your kid was a dollar short for some ice cream

Being safe does not mean teaching your kid to be instinctually afraid of everyone they meet, it means teaching your kid to be cautious about the information they give out and where they go. You don't have to fear the village, just be aware of it, please

Got so distracted playing minecraft that it's once again, 4 am. The seed of the world I got is so baffling to me, like it's the first time I've seen a seed with so many structures nearby and it's all cuz I put "GIVEMEAGOODSEEDBITCH" (was there a YOU there I forgor) in the seed input.
