Her name is Maddie (Madeline/Maha) and she's also known as Missus Murker 🥰. She's an Iberian lynx and her family has been part of the Split Tail pirate clan for generations 💅

She met calico jack when she was 16 and found an INVADER (14 year old kitten stowaway) IN THE CARGO HOLD. Of course she IMMEDITALY POUNCED at him and shook him while DECLARING HER WILL TO DEFEND HER CREW FROM ANY FOOLISH FOOLS WHO DARE ATTEMPT TO INFILTRA-

Anyways calico jack, then simply "Kareem" before he got his pirate nickname and identity, ended up essentially joining her crew 🥰

She realized he was kinda tiny and soft and MADE IT HER MISSION TO TEACH THE TINT IDIOT THE WAYS OF TRUE PIRACY 🗣🗣🗣

They did get to know eachother alot more during that 🥰 and calico jack actually did end up being rather clever(pirate trickery and schemes n whatnot) if a bit too soft hearted 😭

Cj very much believed in " giving mercy to whoever you can" since that was the only reason he was alive (ill tell about his backstory on another post) and maddie was >:] ???

Anyways they love eachothwr very much and she does adore her tiny softie husband who needed to get used to violence 🙄 he may have or may have not helped her hide bodies on seperate occasions though... ALLEGEDLY

Some other tidbits about maddie was that she was very gentle with the people she cared about, practically spoiled her loved ones, whether it was her little sister, tiny husband, or Itty bitty kittens.

A very blunt and direct woman as well. Also the type to bring u the head of ur enemy, apologize about the smell, and then expect a kiss in reward 🥰

extremely fierce and brutal in battle and spirit! Very much the heart of the crew with how she could inspire them <3

I'll get into the how and why another time, but she unfortunately died before kwazii was born... it wasn't a sudden death and there was time, but the illness was... hard on everyone.

Maddie does haunt cj and visit him in his dreams every Tuesday to gossip with him and bully him into self care tho

Also for someone as loud and brash as she was she had a very steady head that could build very detailed miniature ships and enjoyed embroidery

If you noticed her metal claws,she was just born that way but she likes to say she lost it to a gorgeous selkie that had fallen in love with her. And that the selkie loved maddie so much that she tried to drag her down to keep her, but that maddie had to fight her (despite the selkies beauty) to return to her crew 😔

This post is just my interpretation of the characters of course, not saying anything I say here is totally factual.

Dante and Nero are similar in a lot of ways, yet so very different in the way they treat their part human part demon nature.

If Vergil was burying the light (his humanity), Dante was burying the darkness (his inner demon). Ever since his mom died he suppressed his demon side, pretending he was a full human in his Tony Redgrave days. Not even the people closest to him (Grue and Nell) knew about his relation to Sparda.

Dante eventually accepted that part of himself, but it’s evidenced that he still hates said part. For example, in the DMC5 novel it’s explained he didn’t want to go to Patty’s birthday party because he’d be surrounded by “normal” (in his words) people and he doesn’t consider himself normal (though he plans to go see her after the mission anyways and the party has died down because he cares a lot about her) he very much has a “Everything I touch dies” mentality because in his mind his relation to Sparda is why the shit with Gilver (who was created by Mundus) happened and Grue, Jessica, and Nell suffered the consequences. This might also explain a lot about why in 3 he resented Sparda and the fact that he was related to him, constantly having demons ruining his life. And he hated the fact that he was part demon himself because demons are the reason he lost the people he loves. That’s why, despite his love for humanity and caring so much about his friends, he keeps the people he loves at a certain distance, he thinks it’s the only way to protect them. This extended to his nephew.

As for Nero? He started off similarly, hating his demonic side (growing up in Fortuna fucking sucked) and pretended to be fully human like Dante did as Tony by hiding his arm. When he asked Kyrie if “this is what she wanted” she essentially told him she wanted all of him, that included the part of himself that he hated. Ultimately, because he had someone like Kyrie, he was able to do something Dante couldn’t: He learned to love his demonic side, not even trying to hide his arm anymore when 5 takes place.

While Vergil’s theme is about burying his humanity, and Dante’s theme being about his inner demon wanting to break free, Nero’s theme is about embracing that side of him and wearing who he is on his sleeve.

Dante helped Nero a lot in DMC4 and was kind of a mentor figure to him. While Nero didn’t openly show it at the time, he really looks up to Dante and respects him, the fact that Dante accepted him as part of his business must’ve meant a lot to him. DMC5 ends with Nero returning the favor, by helping Dante realize he didn’t have to kill his brother again and that he could change and that they could mend their relationship. I think Nero would be the perfect person to help him maybe not hate himself for who he is so much? They’re both very good hearted people but I think Dante needs to be shown that being as self sacrificial about things as he is isn’t what’s best for him or anyone really.

Plague- introduction to my Papyrus oc

He was originally created as a variant of Ink Papyrus, or rather a Papyrus counterpart to Ink Sans. He does have a soul and real feelings, differentiating him from Ink. He was given awareness of the Multiverse being a creation of beings higher than him- us, Creators. Plague's personality and his awareness led him to not care about fighting with Ink to protect the Multiverse. Due to that his original Creator abandoned him and he was adopted by me- Stoned Frog. Plague is aware he has a new “guardian” but doesn't know anything about any Creator.

Note: his first Creator isn't any real person it's just a plot point for his character that he was abandoned because his previous creator wanted to have a character more motivated to fight for justice, peace or whatever and remodeled by me to go with the flow of his personality

Another note: the awareness he's “not real” didn't break his psyche, he still knows all creations are real within his own world so everything is real for him. Creators to him are like gods to us, or guardian angels of sort.

He figured out his guardian doesn't want him dead so he gets into dangerous situations because he knows he has plot armor. And unfortunately he really does and he's abusing that power.

Plague can teleport through dilapidated/ruined things- he can appear out of mold, rot, rubble, magically step out of a collapsed or burned down building so he's always dirty somewhere, he also gets a lot of scratches or bruises so he's covered in colorful bandaids.

Sometimes he would just randomly break the 4th wall, start talking to whoever might be watching him like

“Hey Creator, what's up? Got any plans for me? Hope you're feeling alright, for my sake. I've seen what other creators are capable of when they're sad, so cheer up will ya?”

Or talk to himself but in a way like he's actually talking to someone or just straight up looking at the screen, he just subconsciously knows from which angle he's drawn

And others would just stare at him talking to nothing like “😰”

Overally he's created to be a very silly meta comic relief guy, he's very chill and just does whatever he wants, he doesn't care about fighting anyone or protecting the multiverse, he just wants to experience as much as he can. He's basically homeless, constantly travelling, meeting people and then leaving never to be seen again.

I understand people are disappointed with some scenes which aren’t the same as in the book, but the entire show has been changed drastically since s1 ep1 when they introduced Alicent and Rhaenyra as best friends and of the same age. Book Alicent and Rhaenyra never had such a close relationship due to the age difference. The entire show is rooted in their relationship and constantly circles it and comes back to their relationship / broken friendship. It’s a key factor and focus, and you can see it in the way they film their scenes intertwined, the way that the cast and producers talk about the relationship between the two, even saying they are ‘haunted’ by each other. The way characters in the show recognise that they still care for each other. The way that after all these years of heartbreak and betrayal they’re still drawn to each other, and deep down they still care.

i only had like... 3,000 followers though, not like it mattered. a third were my beloved mutuals! i'm kinda sad though because ever since i was young i had dreams of being a content creator. i don't really like the word "influencer" because i feel like if i called myself one i wouldn't really be down to earth... but maybe i'm not that down to earth anyways because i'm like, always in my own world.

i should introduce myself though, so hi!! i'm brianna, i'm currently a 9th grader/freshman in high school at the time of writing this. my parents are both vietnamese but i live in america, and if you can't tell by my blog... subtitle... thing...? tiktok might be getting banned. *might* be. i honestly don't really believe it, but i wanted to get into long-form content creation anyways... so yeah! i'm gonna write my heart out~~

anyways, i like j-fashion, which this blog should mostly be about. outfits inspired by my favorite japanese fashion subcultures like lolita and gyaru! i'm into super hyperfeminine and girly and frilly and ruffly and lace-y and over the top styles, so i guess obviously my favs would have to be sweet lolita and hime gyaru. although, i feel like the outfits i wear in real life kinda have a dollette color palette with a himekaji sihlouette... or maybe just himekaji. (more stuff under the cut)

on another note, i feel like that "shoujo girl" style that's trendy on tiktok right now is basically just himekaji with more detailing and has a cooler pink color palette and less brown... or like, maybe it's just kinda himekaji and dollette and kind of the details of ryousangata and hime gyaru? kinda? i dunnoooooo... i actually noticed some people don't like it at all but i thought it was pretty cute. i just think it's kinda too basic for my taste sometimes... my ego thrives on being different or something.

speaking of that, i might get a bit personal here. might talk about how i think i'm like super evil. even though i'm kinda not. but like, i feel like saying i'm not evil... makes me seem more evil? anyways, yeah. i'm like those shoujo antagonists that are super duper cute and like really popular and seems to be really kind. and then they're evil. (i don't know what i'm talking about)

it's a three day weekend this week coz of mlk. grateful, but unfortunately i only get to see my friends for four days instead of five days at school... and i have more finals on top of that.

luckily though, my school's theater department has this big show going on so i got to see my friends! i went with a group of three other dudes... actually four, because another one of our friends showed up unexpectedly so he sat with us. i asked my friend (who i'll call poodle coz his hair reminds me of one) if he wanted to go with me (and my best friend), but then it turned out that poodle was going with his other friend... we decided to join up though coz the other friend knew us too so it wasn't gonna be awkward or anything! oh, actually... the poodle's sister actually went with us as well, with her friend. they were kinda separated from our group though.

ugh, i actually kinda feel bad for being closer friends with her brother over her though?! because it makes more sense for me to be closer with her because she's also a freshman, and a girl, but poodle is a junior...

anyways, my theatre department-- they've been working super hard! a guy in my choir said that his school days were like 14 hours long due to rehearsals. they put out this play called You Can't Take It with You and it was soooooo good. it was a single set, so the set was super intricate and detailed and all that good stuff. also, the costume design was so gorgeous?? i don't really have anything to compare it to, but i swear... i loved all of the costumes so much and our drama department at my highschool is so amazing! i've been doing a bunch of fun stuff with my friends and it makes me feel like i'm in like, a slice of life manga... i'd say a shoujo manga, but that feels kinda mean coz a lot of my close friends are dudes.

i actually have a close friend that's a girl though, i'm not only friends with just guys. i've always been kind of an outcast but also like, kinda normal? it was worse when i was in middle school because i was ugly. then i started conforming in 8th grade and i got some shallow friendships. and then i started being myself again but i'm pretty... so it's like, socially acceptable. anyways, because of that, i just find it easier to be friends with guys because there's no expectation for me to be like them at all. they know i'm different than them, but like, i like the same stuff they like so they're ok with me i guess? i dunno how to explain it... i don't play many games but i find them interesting, so it's like-- okay to talk to me about persona, ultrakill, nso, ace attorney, stardew valley, terraria, and like, all that good stuff.

but my girl friend is into fashion like me, so we really bond!!!! we're both into choir, but like... i'm gonna cut it off here instead of going on more about my friends coz this is so long T_T hopefully i tagged correctly! i'll definitely talk more later~~

Thinking about how Dante is so selfless a lot of the time it ends up negatively affecting him. He can’t pay his bills because he’s always sending a big chunk of his money to Grue’s kids and Enzo. He doesn’t let himself get too close to people because he’s scared they’ll get hurt and it’s part of why he masks all of his pain with jokes.
