🌵HELP NEEDED FOR GRADUATION PROJECT!🌵

Hi everyone!

This year I'll be graduating film school as a director with a short western film about processing grief. It's based on a very personal fear of losing my older military brother in the field.

The story is about a 25 year old cowboy Phiro, who faces off with the bandit Roscoe, who forces her to end the life of her brother. With blood on her hands, sorrow in her eyes, and anger over her powerlessness, she follows the trail towards her new enemy, seeking revenge. However, her path is not without danger... Phiro is warned not to pursue Roscoe. She meets a 15-year-old teenager who is dealing with her own loss. The Kid joins Phiro and they continue their journey together. In a final confrontation with Roscoe, Phiro must choose whether to walk away from this destructive path or to take justice into her own hands by seeking revenge herself.

So uhh in my fix it au cub is a proffesional scientist who ahs decided to take a break from his overwheleming career and stuff and so he became a firewatcher to pursue his ornithology hobby. and then he meets scar and they become besties and scar can talk all about movies and stuff and cub can tell him bird facts Oh! and scar would describe the birds on his windowsill or something and cub would try to decipher what bird it is :3 sorry for the spam.. but i just really liked this whole story and ahhh i just couldnt help myself and make scar not alone anymore, this time for good ^^''

Cub! Cub is in this AU as a friend of Scar's. But he's not mentioned in the main fic, just in one of the little supplemental drabbles and also in the as-yet-unwritten Scar-centric idea. Feel free to do whatever headcanons you want of him though, anything not in the main fic is fair game for people to fill in as they like.

I love your headcanon, it's very cute! Especially Scar describing all the birds he sees and Cub telling him about them :(((( I LOVE those vibes. They'd have so much fun talking about whatever. (Speaking of—is Cub an ornithology guy in real life/in HC or is that also a headcanon about him?)

To add some of my own ideas about Cub in this AU, since Cub has a background in astrophysics irl, I gave him a similar background in the story's universe. He's an astrophysicist from Chicago. I really like the idea of him being into astrophotography and going to the Yellowstone/Shoshone for some good, dark night skies. He'd be a film photographer at this time period, which I honestly think makes star photography even cooler.

All the details are up to you though :) anything not in the main fic is totally fair game to theorize or headcanon about

ok so everybody uses recolor sprites to make their own robo ocs right? I'm gonna. also do that. sprites taken from the gg wiki and the dustloop obvs

the one from the robovenoms. Default color. Probably not the only one who is default color. But, by all accounts, the first one to rock the look.

the other canon robo, and the one who solidified the idea of other robos having their own presence and personality, and confirmed that the amount of robos in the world is at least in the triple digits. I was tempted to headcanon them as a different color, but in the few fanarts of them that exist they're always drawn with the default isuka palette, so I'll be letting them stick with that here.

For my own oc, Fivoh, I chose for her a recolor from Accent Core that looks like a bridge between both the original palette and the infamous isuka mk2 palette. In my lore for her, after no.0 ran off, Crow still needed someone around to bully, so he just made up something about wanting to keep the first ever production unit for sentimental reasons in order to force it to do chores. She's rather bitter about her lot in life, but she wants to show that she's more capable than the one that ran away, so she's sticking it out to prove herself (at detriment to herself, unfortunately).

I chose this accent core pallette for my oc Twenny bc this is the closest to how I imagined their colors look (also it's just a sick palette in general). Twenny doesn't have much going on pre-transition, just a faceless footsoldier among dozens, doing the job they were programmed to do. But, just as the robos are starting to figure out they're sorta kinda alive, their platoon gets into a big fight and a lot of them are caught in an explosion and left for scrap, Twenny among them. They're later found and repurposed as a university test subject, which is where things get a little weird.

These two are less fleshed out than Fivoh and Twenny. I'm basing them off a post about a mated pair of wolves in Yellowstone National Park because the post made me sad. The color palette choices are both gray because that was the color of the wolves.

Lore...uh, they were part of Twenny's platoon, perhaps? Made that up literally just now. Why not, right? They fell in love, and Twenny thought they were being dumb, and now they're dead and Twenny misses them. (maybe they survived somehow? perhaps.)

However, I currently enjoy Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, and the JInshi/Maomao-dyanmic is hillarious. Overdramatic bishounen falling for gremlin STEM girl is a wonderful slowburn, comedy-packed dynamic.

First ship ever: Phew, hard to say, but I think for conciously looking up tags and fanart it was either Saber/Gilgamesh (Fate/stay night), or Miss Balalaika/Mister Chang (Black Lagoon).

Currently reading: Just finished "House of Hollow" by Krystal Sutherland (this book is sincelery the most tumblr-aesthetic engineered mesh I've ever read), and "The Virgin Suicides" by Jeffrey Eugenides. Finishing "L'amat" by Marguerite Duras. Parallel reading about the 30 year war (which might or might not be related on Daniel Kehlmann's writing having a tight grip on dopamine release.)

Currently watching: Reservation Dogs. Tried watching Yellowstone but except for some pretty scenery shots it's a paint-by-numbers US dynasty-drama featuring white-man-insert-fantasy, and probably the worst writing of female characters I've seen since a good while.

Currently consuming: Why should I be in need of consumption?

Currently craving: A good night's sleep but honestly, I think I am fine these days.

[Have done nothing the past few days, but start several drawings and fail to finish them, but at least they're on the wip stack where I can circle back to instead of just cluttering up my brain. This is more or less the conclusion to the forgotten memories story that I've barely started. I write all these connected aus out of order; gotta stop doing that. When will I learn to honor chronology?

This I actually drew this out of order. The second page I slapped together earlier today in ball point pen to get into comic mode; it was my attempt at a warm up/ loosening my wrist. The first three panels I penciled before my shift starts. Everything about this is horrible, but it was just not horrible enough to post. (?)

That nightmare Nny is based off the one that appears in issue 4. I like that one, the nightmare Nny design and the one page comic he appears in. Don't see this design pop up much in fanart. ]
