Shut up now you opened a whole new thought process mentioning mafia 🤭 what about mafia!danny? I don’t think anyone’s wrote about him but I feel like it just clicks. OH MAYBE reader doesn’t believe it when he casually mentions it, she thinks it’s a joke because of his happy personality but then maybe she catches him doing some *mafia stuff* iykwim and then she’s shocked at first, not talking to him for a bit. He clearly says that it’s not his fault because well he did technically tell her even though she thought it was a joke. Im a sucker for the injury trope and it fits so well with mafia so like he shows up to her house all bloody and bruised with flowers or smt and he’s like I don’t know how to make it up to you but you made me feel like the mafia never existed or wtv and asks what he can do to make it up 😫 this is pure brainrot so I’m not even sure if this makes sense so work your magic 💜

“I don’t think this is a good idea” you groaned to your friend who had set you up on a blind date with her husband's best friends who he had known since childhood. “It’s a great idea you’ve been single for four years now y/n it’s time to get back out there and meet new people. I’m not saying you have to get into bed with him, just give him a chance” She replied.
“Do I have to?” You asked looking at your friend with a pleading look practically begging her.
“Come on y/n you’ll like him. Daniel’s nice and he’s funny. He's your type. Trust me, as soon as you see his smile you’ll fall and you’ll fall hard” she says, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Ok fine I’ll go on one date,” you said crossing your arms “As long as you promise to keep an eye on my location I don’t want to end up on the next episode of Dateline” you added.
“Oh relax” your friend scoffed “Daniel’s a good guy and he’s a total gentleman, you won’t have to worry about that”
“Don’t you worry I’ll be keeping tabs on you the whole time you’ll be fine” she reassured you. “You’ll see you’re going to fall in love with him. I’ll set up a date for you two, you’ll thank me when you’re living happily ever after” she said while putting a hand on your shoulder.
 A few days later your friend had set you up on a date. You were now about to leave your house for the date and before you left your friend had messaged and asked for your location so she could keep track of you. Once you sent her the address of the restaurant you were going to, you made your way there.
You finally got to the restaurant and looked around, a little nervously, until you spotted your date. You saw a tall attractive man, with messy brown hair and a charming smile sitting at one of the tables. He seemed to notice you as he stood up and smiled, waving to you to come over. As you walked towards him he pulled out a chair for you and once you sat down he pushed it back in before he sat back down. “You’re y/n right?” He asked as he gave you a charming smile.
You nodded and smiled back. “Yeah that’s me and I’m assuming you’re Daniel?” You asked as you looked up at him, taking in his handsome features.
He chuckled, “yep that’s me” he replied as he ran a hand through his hair. “You’re even prettier than your friend described you” he added as he looked you up and down shamelessly. You felt your cheeks warm up a little at his compliment but you tried to stay calm. “Well you’re not too bad looking yourself,” you said with a hint of playful sarcasm in your voice.
"Not too bad?" He repeated, feigning a hurt expression as he clutched his heart dramatically. "I'm devastated, absolutely devastated" he added with a smirk. "Much happier, especially coming from a beautiful girl like you," he said with a smirk. A second later the waiter came by and asked what you would like to drink.
You told the waiter what you wanted to drink and Daniel did the same. As the waiter left to put your drink orders in, you turned to Daniel. “So what do you do for a living?” You asked curiously. "I run a business that modifies cars" he replied with a smile. "It's a family business, handed down from generation to generation" he added, his pride obvious in his tone.
You were a little surprised by how casually he worded it. “Oh wow that sounds pretty cool, I’m surprised I haven’t heard of it before. What’s it called?” You asked curiously. “It’s a little Mafia thing,” Daniel says casually.
Your eyes widened slightly at his casual statement. “A little mafia thing?” You repeated disbelief in your voice. “Are you being serious right now?”
He chuckled, "Yes, I'm being completely serious. It's not what you think though, we're not out committing crimes like the stereotype. We're all about family and respect here, a different type of mafia" he explained, his tone still calm and casual.
“I don’t believe that,” you said.
Daniel feigns a hurt expression again. “You wound me. I’m offended that you don’t believe me” he said with a fake pout. “But seriously, I’m not lying to you. I do run a mafia business that’s all about family” he added with a shrug. You couldn’t help but feel skeptical. “I’m sorry, I’m just having a hard time believing what you’re saying. It’s not every day you meet someone in the mafia” you said, still sounding doubtful.
Daniel chuckled, clearly amused by your skepticism. “I understand your disbelief, it’s not something you hear about every day. But I assure you, I’m not lying to you. I’ve been part of this family business for years” he said calmly, trying to reassure you. You were grateful for the subject change, and you quickly gave him an answer. “I work at a local animal shelter, nothing too exciting” you replied with a small shrug.
"That's pretty cool, I love animals," he said with a small smile. "Have any pets of your own?" He added curiously. You shook your head. "No, I wish I could have one but my apartment doesn't allow pets" you explained. "But I get to see and play with so many different animals every day at work, so I can't complain," you added with a smile.
He nodded. "Yeah, I get that. It sucks when you can't have a pet, but at least you get your animal fix at work" he replied with a grin. The conversation continued on and on, you found yourself lost in conversation with Daniel. He was charming and funny, the time flew by while talking with him. Before you knew it, hours had passed and it was starting to get late. Just as you were about to say something, your phone buzzed in your pocket. You pulled it out to check your notification and saw a text from your friend asking if you were still on your date and if you were still okay.
You quickly typed out a response telling her that you were still on the date that everything was fine and you'd check in with her later. As soon as you hit send, you looked back up at Daniel, who was watching you curiously. “Everything alright?” He asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at you.
"Oh yeah, it was just my friend checking in on me. She's a bit overprotective" you explained with a chuckle. He chuckled as well. "Ah, the overprotective friend. Gotta love 'em" he replied with a grin.
“Yeah she’s my best friend and I love her” you replied smiling.
There was a brief moment of comfortable silence between the two of you before Daniel spoke up again. "It's getting pretty late. Can I walk you home?" He asked, looking at you with a warm expression. You smiled at his offer. "That's very sweet of you, but didn't you drive here? I don't want you to have to go back to get your car" you replied, feeling a sense of guilt at the thought of him having to walk back to his car just to drive you home.
He chuckled and shook his head. "It's fine, I don't mind. Plus, I'd feel better knowing you got home safely" he said with a small smile.
You couldn't help but feel a warm feeling at his words, touched by his concern for your safety. "Thank you, that's very sweet of you" you said, feeling a hint of a blush on your cheeks.
He smiled at your reaction, seeming pleased that he was able to make you blush. After paying for the bill, he stood up from his seat and gestured for you to do the same. He walked beside you, holding the door open for you as you exited the restaurant. The cool night air hit your face as you stepped outside, and you shivered slightly. Noticing your shiver, Daniel took off his coat and wrapped it around your shoulders. "Here, you look cold," he said as he placed his coat around your shoulders. The coat was warm and smelled like him, a woodsy and earthy scent that you found surprisingly pleasant.
"Thanks," you said as you pulled the coat closer around you. The two of you started walking down the street, the city around you becoming quieter as the night got later.
The two of you walked in comfortable silence for a couple of minutes, the only sound being the occasional car passing by. You glanced over at Daniel, who was walking beside you, his hands casually stuffed in the pockets of his pants.
"Can I ask you something?" He suddenly asked, breaking the silence between you two. "Yeah, of course. What is it?" You replied, curious about what he was going to ask. He hesitated for a moment before asking his question. "Why are you still single?" He blurted out, his tone casual but his words weighted. His question caught you off guard, and you weren't quite sure how to respond. "Uh, I don't know, just haven't found the right person I guess," you said with a shrug, feeling slightly embarrassed at his direct question.
He hummed pensively, seeming to consider your answer. "I find it hard to believe that a beautiful girl like you doesn't have men throwing themselves at you," he said, his eyes scanning your face intently. You blushed at his compliment, feeling embarrassed and flattered at the same time. "Yeah right, I'm not that much of a catch," you said with a self-deprecating chuckle, trying to downplay his words. He stopped in his tracks, causing you to stop too, and turned to face you. "Don't say that about yourself" he said sternly, his gaze never wavering. "You're gorgeous, and any man would be lucky to have you" he added firmly.
You stared at him for a moment, taken aback by his intensity. No one had ever spoken to you like that before, and it stirred up a feeling inside of you that you couldn't quite explain. "Thanks, I guess" you mumbled, feeling a bit overwhelmed by his compliment. He chuckled softly at your reaction, his expression softening. "No need to thank me, just stating the truth," he said with a shrug. "But seriously, I don't understand why you're single. You have everything a man looks for in a woman" he added, his eyes locking with yours.
You felt your heart skip a beat at his words, his intense gaze making you feel a bit flustered. "I don't know, maybe I'm just picky," you said, trying to sound nonchalant, but you knew that wasn't the real reason. The truth was, you were just too scared to put yourself out there again after your last relationship ended badly. He seemed to pick up on the underlying hint in your words, and his expression softened further. "Ah, I see. Previous relationship baggage, am I right?" He said with a knowing look. You were surprised that he had noticed, but you nodded in response. "Yeah, something like that," you said, feeling a mix of vulnerability and resignation.
He nodded in understanding. "I can understand that. Bad relationships can leave a mark on us, make us hesitant to trust again" he said thoughtfully. "But just because one relationship ended badly, it doesn't mean the next one will" he added, his gaze steady on you. You had to admit that he was right. You knew you couldn’t hold onto your past trauma forever, but it was easier said than done. "It's not just that, though," you said, feeling a bit guilty for unloading everything on him. "I'm also just scared of getting hurt again. Relationships are risky, and I don't know if I'm ready to take that risk again" you added with a sigh.
He listened attentively as you spoke, his expression still soft and understanding. "I get that. Falling in love is a risk, and there's always a chance of getting hurt. But the thing is, you can't live your life being afraid of getting hurt" he said, his voice gentle but firm. "If you don't take a risk and open yourself up to new relationships, you'll never experience the joy and fulfillment of finding someone who truly loves and cares about you" he added, his eyes never leaving yours.
His words hit you like a ton of bricks, making you realize that you were letting your past experiences dictate your future. "I know what you're saying is true, but it doesn't make it any easier," you said, feeling a mix of defensiveness and vulnerability. He nodded, seeming to understand your conflicting feelings. "I know it's not easy, and I'm not saying you should rush into anything. It's important to give yourself time to heal and process your emotions. But at the same time, don't shut yourself off to the possibility of finding happiness again" he said, his voice still soothing.
You felt a lump in your throat as you absorbed his words. You knew he was right, you couldn't keep living in the past and avoiding future relationships because of your fear of getting hurt. "You're very wise, you know that?" You said with a small smile, attempting to lighten the mood. He chuckled at your comment, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I have my moments," he said playfully. "But seriously, I just want you to consider what I'm saying. Don't let your past define your future, and don't sell yourself short. You're an amazing woman, don't forget that" he said, his gaze still fixed on you.
You felt a pang in your chest at his words, his praise making you feel a flutter in your stomach. You had never felt this seen and understood by someone before, and it was both comforting and overwhelming at the same time. "Thank you," you said, your voice tinged with vulnerability. "I appreciate you saying that. It means a lot" you added, feeling a bit emotional.
He smiled at your response, looking pleased that he was able to make you feel better. "It's just the truth," he said matter-of-factly. "You deserve to be loved and taken care of, and I'm sure there are plenty of men out there who would be lucky to have you" he added, his tone casual yet affectionate. “I hope that you’ll do the honor and go out with me again?” Daniel added.
Your eyes widened in surprise at his unexpected question. "Wait, what?" You asked, caught off guard by his directness. He chuckled at your stunned expression. "Did I surprise you?" He asked, his tone teasing. "I thought I made it obvious that I'm interested in you," he said, his gaze still locked on yours. You felt your heart rate increase at his words, his gaze making you feel both flattered and a bit flustered. "You're interested in me?" You asked, hoping you didn't sound as dumbfounded as you felt.
He nodded, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Of course I am. You're gorgeous and intelligent, and you have a great sense of humor. Why wouldn't I be interested in you?" He said, his voice dripping with charm.
You couldn't help but smile at his compliments, feeling a swarm of butterflies in your stomach. "You're flattering me too much," you said, trying to play it cool. “But yes Daniel I would love to go on another date with you” His smile widened at your response, clearly pleased that you had agreed to go on another date with him. "Great, I'm glad to hear it. I promise not to disappoint" he said, a hint of excitement in his voice.
The two of you resumed walking, the conversation becoming lighter and carefree again. Even though you had only been on one date with him, you felt a certain ease and comfort with Daniel that you hadn't felt with anyone else before.
As you walked, you couldn't help but sneak glances at Daniel from time to time, noticing small details about him that you hadn't noticed before. The way his hair fell slightly over his forehead, the crinkles by his eyes when he smiled, the way his hands moved effortlessly in his pockets.
You were so lost in admiring him that you almost didn't notice when he spoke up again. "You're staring," he said, his tone playful. You felt a heat rise to your cheeks as you realized he had caught you staring. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," you said, feeling embarrassed at being caught.
“Thank you for walking me home, you didn’t have to do that,” you said, thanking Daniel. He smiled at your thank you, appreciating your gratitude. "It was no problem at all. I wanted to make sure you got home safely" he said, his tone still warm and genuine.
You arrived at your apartment building, the outside light casting a soft glow over the both of you. You turned to face Daniel, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervous energy. "Well, this is me," you said, gesturing towards the building behind you. "Thanks again for walking me home, it was really sweet of you" you added, looking up at him with a small smile.
He smiled back at you, his eyes roaming over your face as if trying to memorize every detail. "It was my pleasure. I'm glad I was able to spend more time with you" he said, his tone soft and sincere.
There was a brief moment of silence between the two of you, the air thick with unspoken tension. You knew that this was the part where you were supposed to say goodbye and go inside, but somehow neither of you seemed to want the night to end just yet.
——
Weeks had passed since your first date with Daniel, and much had changed since then. You had seen each other many times since then, going on numerous dates and spending countless hours talking and getting to know each other better.
Even though you had only been official for a few months, you felt as though you had known each other for years. Daniel had become a constant presence in your life, his presence both comforting and exhilarating at the same time.
As you sat on your couch, mindlessly flipping through channels on the TV, you heard a knock on your door. You looked up, surprised that anyone would be visiting you unannounced at this hour. You got up from the couch and walked over to the door, wondering who could be on the other side. As soon as you opened the door, your heart skipped a beat as you saw who was standing in front of you.
Daniel stood there, looking unfairly attractive as usual, wearing a fitted shirt and jeans that hugged his muscular frame. He had a small smile playing on his lips, his eyes scanning your face intently.
“Hey,” he said, his voice low and smooth. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything,” he added, leaning one arm against the doorframe. You shook your head, feeling a flutter in your chest at the sight of him. “No, not at all. Come in” you said, stepping aside to let him enter your apartment.
He walked inside, his tall frame making your small apartment seem even smaller. He looked around the room, seemingly taking in every detail.
“Cute place.” he finally said, turning to face you.
“Thanks,” you said with a small smile, feeling a bit nervous under his gaze. “So, what brings you here? Not that I mind, of course” you added quickly, not wanting him to think you didn’t want him there.
He smiled at your nervousness, clearly amused. “Can’t I just come over and see my girlfriend?” he asked, the word girlfriend rolling off his tongue effortlessly. He chuckled, clearly seeing through your act.
“Girlfriend I didn’t know I was your girlfriend already” you replied coolly with a smile.
“You’re such a bad liar,” he said, stepping closer to you. He was now standing so close to you that you could feel the heat radiating off his body.
He gently reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering on your skin for a few seconds longer than necessary. His touch sent a shiver down your spine, and you felt your breath catch in your throat. “You know I can read you like an open book, right?” he said in a low voice.
Daniel took another step forward, and now his body was almost touching yours. You could feel the heat he was radiating, and you found yourself leaning into him involuntarily.
“I know you like it when I call you, girlfriend” he whispered, his lips brushing gently against the shell of your ear. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, and you knew he was well aware of the effect he had on you.
Without another word, Daniel lowered his head and pressed a kiss to your neck, his lips soft and warm against your skin. You tried to keep your breathing steady, but it hitched as his lips moved to your jawline, trailing small kisses down to your collarbone.
He continued to press kisses to your skin, his teeth nipping gently at your collarbone. His hands came up to rest on your hips, his fingers digging into your flesh as he pulled you closer to him. You could feel his body pressed up against yours, every inch of him solid and warm.
“You know, I’ve missed you” he murmured against your skin, his lips moving back up to your neck. He nipped at the sensitive spot behind your ear, causing your legs to almost buckle at the action.
“I missed you too, if I’m being honest I hate when you leave for long periods” you responded.
“I know, I hate it too,” he said, his hands tracing small circles on your hips. “I wish I could stay here with you all the time but, well, sometimes work calls” he added, his lips tracing a path down your neck again.
He pressed another kiss to your collarbone before lifting his head to look at you. His eyes met yours, and you could see the mixture of affection and hunger in his gaze. “But I’m here now,” he said, his hands sliding around to your lower back. He pulled you closer to him, his body now pressed tightly against yours, leaving no space between the two of you.
You could feel the heat and hardness of his chest through his shirt, and you could hear the steady thrum of his heartbeat. His scent surrounded you, a mix of musk and aftershave, and you couldn’t help but inhale deeply, craving more.
He pressed his forehead against yours, his fingers playing with the hem of your shirt as he spoke again. “And I plan on making the most of it.”
The intensity in his words sent a shiver down your spine, and you could feel the heat pooling in your belly. “You always do” you managed to say, struggling to keep your voice steady under the weight of his gaze.
He chuckled at your response, seemingly pleased by your admission. “Damn right, I do,” he said, his voice dropping to a sultry whisper.
———
Months later
You hadn’t seen Daniel in a few weeks due to him going out of town for work. You knew he was going to be home later in the evening so you wanted to surprise him. Walking up the pathway to the front door you took out the key to Daniel’s house that he gave you and unlocked the door. As you stepped inside, the house was quiet and dimly lit. It was clear that Daniel wasn't home yet, but you knew he would be back soon. You set down your bag by the door and made your way further into the house.
The familiar scent of his cologne lingered in the air, and you took a deep breath, feeling a wave of nostalgia wash over you. You missed him a lot more than you’d expected. You walked through the living room and into the kitchen, debating whether to make something to eat or just wait for Daniel to arrive. As you stood by the counter, lost in thought, you heard a faint sound in the other room. It sounded like a soft thump, followed by a muffled curse.
Concerned, you left the kitchen and headed towards the source of the noise. As you reached the door to the study, you heard another sound, followed by a low groan.
You quietly opened the door and stepped inside your heart racing. When your eyes focused on the figure in the room, your heart skipped a beat.
 standing in the middle of the room there Daniel was surrounded by other men who stood around a man who was tied to a chair in front of Daniel. The man tied to the chair was beaten badly. Daniel's eyes were dark and intense, and his expression was colder than usual. He was wearing a black suit, the top buttons of his shirt undone, revealing a hint of his chest.
The other men in the room were all dressed similarly, and they stood off to the side, watching intently. It was clear that they were either bodyguards or associates of some sort. One of them stepped forward and handed Daniel a knife, which he took without hesitation.
Daniel took a step closer to the man tied to the chair, his eyes scanning over him with a mixture of anger and disdain. You watched in shock as he placed the tip of the knife under the man's chin, lifting his head to meet his gaze.
“What did I tell you?” Daniel asked, his voice laced with barely contained fury. The man in the chair, who was terrified, trembled visibly at the sound of Daniel's voice. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Instead, he just looked up at Daniel with wide, fearful eyes.
“Cat got your tongue?” Daniel said, his tone almost mocking. He pressed the knife a little harder against the man's skin, just enough to draw a thin trickle of blood. The other man winced and let out a small whimper.
The other men behind Daniel let out small chuckles, clearly enjoying the sight of the man in distress. You stood there, frozen in shock and disbelief, not sure what to do or say.
Daniel leaned closer to the man, his eyes never leaving his face. “You know what I do to people who talk too much?” he asked, his voice dropping to a menacing whisper.
The man in the chair frantically shook his head, tears streaming down his face. He looked terrified.
“No? Well, that's a shame.” Daniel said, his tone still cool and mocking. “I thought I made it clear to you that I don't like it when people talk too much.” he continued, his eyes narrowing. “And yet here we are, with you bleeding and tied to a chair. Did you think I was joking?” he added, his voice growing colder with each word. The other men in the room shifted their weight, clearly enjoying the show. They knew not to interfere, Daniel was the boss and this man had wronged him in some way.
Daniel ran the tip of the knife lightly over the man's cheek, leaving a thin trail of red in its wake. “I guess I need to teach you some manners, huh?” he said, his voice a low growl. “Maybe then you'll learn to shut your damn mouth.”
The man in the chair began to sob loudly, pleading for mercy. “Please, I'll do anything! I'm sorry! I'll never do it again, I swear!” he cried out, his voice breaking with fear and desperation.
Daniel seemed unmoved by the man's pleading. He let out a humorless chuckle and looked over at the other men in the room. “You hear that?” he said, motioning to the man. “He says he's sorry. Do you think I care?”
The men in the room all shook their heads, some of them letting out more chuckles at the sight of the man's desperation. One of them spoke up, "He's worthless boss. Just get rid of him."
Daniel thought about it for a moment, his eyes still locked on the man in the chair. “You know what? You're right. Let's end this.” he said, his tone cold and detached. He turned to one of the men, handing him the knife. “Finish it,” he said simply, before stepping away from the man and walking over to the other side of the room.
The man who had been given the knife stepped forward, a cruel smile playing on his face. The man with the knife just laughed at his pleading. “Too late for that, buddy,” he said, his tone smug. “You should have thought of that before you crossed him.” He brought the knife up to the man's throat, the blade glinted in the light. The man in the chair let out a shrill scream just as one of Daniel’s men stabbed him in the chest.
“No!!” You screamed making yourself known to the others. Daniel whipped around to face you. Daniel's eyes widened in surprise as he saw you standing there, horror etched on your face. He seemed caught off guard by your appearance, and for a moment he just stared at you. Then, he took a step towards you, his expression unreadable.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, his voice cold and guarded. The other men in the room all turned to look at you, their eyes appraising you with curiosity and suspicion. You stood there, frozen in shock and fear. You hadn't expected to walk in on a scene like this, and the sight of the man being beaten and stabbed right in front of you was almost too much to handle.
“I-uh-I gotta go,” you said running down the hallway and out the front door to your car.
Daniel watched you leave, a mixture of shock and anger etched on his face. He was about to go after you when one of his men spoke up.
“You gonna go after her?” he asked a hint of amusement in his voice.
“Baby wait!” Daniel called out after you his heart sank in his chest and he felt like he was going to be sick. You heard Daniel's voice behind you, but you didn't stop. You kept walking, your heart racing and your mind reeling from what you just witnessed.
Daniel called out again, his voice pleading now. "Please, wait! I can explain!"
Despite your anger and fear, you reluctantly stopped in your tracks. You turned to face him, your eyes swimming with tears.
"Explain? Explain what, exactly?" you said, your voice shaking with emotion.
Daniel took a few steps towards you, his expression earnest and remorseful. "Please, just give me a minute to explain," he said, his voice softer now.
You stood there, your arms wrapped tightly around your middle, trying to keep calm. "Fine," you said, taking a deep breath. "Explain."
He ran a hand through his hair, looking frustrated and anxious. "That guy, he's...he's a rival gang member. He crossed a line, and I had to deal with it," he said, his voice low and serious.
"And dealing with it involves beating him up and having him killed? In one of your spare rooms m?" you asked, your voice rising in disbelief.
Daniel let out a sigh, his hand running through his hair again. "It's not that simple," he said, his tone still gentle. "This is how things work in my world. You knew that when we started dating."
"But I didn't expect to walk in on a scene like that!" you exclaimed, your voice cracking slightly. "Watching you torture someone...it was terrifying. I've never seen anything like that before."
Daniel's expression softened, and he took another step towards you. "I know it was shocking," he said, his voice quiet and sincere. "But you have to understand, this is my life. This is what I do. And I can't change that, no matter how much I might want to."
"But what about me?" you asked, your voice shaking. "How am I supposed to feel safe and secure in a relationship with you, knowing what you're capable of?"
Daniel took another step closer, reaching out to touch your arm. "I would never hurt you," he said, his voice low and firm. "Please, you have to believe me. You're the most important thing in my life, and I would never do anything to put you in danger."
You wanted to believe him, you did. But the image of the man who was beaten and stabbed was still fresh in your mind, and it was hard to reconcile that image with the man standing in front of you.
"It's just...I don't know if I can handle this. What I just saw, it's not something I can just ignore," you said, your voice shaking with emotion.
Daniel's expression hardened slightly, and he withdrew his hand from your arm. "So you're saying you can't accept my life?" he asked, his voice laced with disappointment.
"I..." you started, struggling to find the right words. "I don't know," you admitted, your voice small and uncertain. "I just...I need time to process all of this."
Daniel's expression softened again, and he let out a deep sigh. "I understand," he said, his voice sounding resigned. "You need space. I get it."
He took a step back, giving you some space. "Just...promise me you'll come back when you're ready to talk," he said, his eyes searching your face.
You nodded, still feeling a mixture of emotions swirling inside you. "I promise," you said quietly, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Okay," he said, his voice quiet and resigned. "I'll give you space. Just please, be careful and stay safe." With that, he turned and walked back towards the house, leaving you standing there alone in the dark. You stood there for a few moments, watching him go, your mind racing with thoughts and emotions. You knew you needed time to sort out your feelings and figure out what to do next. But deep down, you also knew that you could never forget what you had just witnessed.
With a lump in your throat, you turned back towards your car and climbed inside, feeling more confused and scared than ever before. As you drove away, leaving Daniel and his world behind, you couldn't help feeling like your life had been irrevocably changed.
———-
Days turned into weeks, and you hadn't contacted Daniel since that fateful night. You had been avoiding any kind of communication, needing time to sort out your thoughts and feelings. But as the days went on, you felt a nagging sense of guilt and longing whenever you thought about him, wondering if he was okay.
Daniel's world was one of danger and violence, and he was so used to being surrounded by it that he didn't realize its effect on others. But for you, the sight of him tormenting and killing that man had been a shocking wake-up call. You had never been exposed to that kind of life before, and it terrified you. The thought of being involved with someone capable of such violence and cruelty was daunting.
You had been struggling to reconcile the Daniel you knew – the gentle, caring boyfriend who had shown you only tenderness and kindness – with the Daniel you had witnessed that night, someone who was cold and dangerous. Despite your fears and uncertainties, you couldn't shake off the feeling that you cared deeply for him. You missed the moments of laughter, the stolen kisses, and the comfort of his presence. You missed his easy smile and the way he could make you feel wanted and adored.
One night, as you were tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep, you heard a faint knock at your door. You sat up, your heart skipping a beat. Could it be Daniel? You got up and walked towards the door, your mind racing with mixed emotions. Part of you was terrified at the thought of seeing him, but another part of you was itching to see his face and hear his voice.
You hesitantly opened the door, revealing Daniel standing there on the other side. He looked tired, worried, bruised, battered, and beaten but his expression softened as soon as he saw you.
"Can I come in?" he asked, his voice quiet and weary. You felt a lurch in your chest at the sight of him, the emotions coursing through you in a confusing jumble. You hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say or do. But then, without thinking, you nodded and stepped aside, allowing him to enter. Daniel stepped inside, his eyes fixed on you. He looked like he hadn't slept in days, with dark circles under his eyes and a haggard expression on his face. The sight of him like this made your heart hurt.
The two of you stood there in silence, neither of you quite knowing what to say or do. The air was thick with tension, and the silence was deafening.
Finally, Daniel spoke up, his voice cracking slightly. "I've missed you," he said, his expression full of vulnerability. Hearing his voice, you felt a wave of emotions wash over you. You wanted to stay mad at him, to keep your walls up and protect yourself, but it was as if the very sight of him had broken down all your defenses.
You didn't say anything, but you didn't need to. The look in your eyes spoke volumes. You missed him too, more than you wanted to admit. Daniel took a step closer to you, his eyes searching your face. "I know you're scared," he said, his voice low and earnest. "I know what I do is not something you can easily accept. But please, let me make it up to you."
Without thinking, you reached out and traced your fingers over the bruises and cuts on his face, feeling a pang of sympathy and concern. "You look like you've been through hell," you said, your voice soft and gentle.
Daniel let out a weary sigh, tilting his head slightly into your touch. "It's been a rough week," he admitted, his eyes closing briefly at the feel of your fingers on his skin.
The two of you stood there like that for a few moments, not speaking, just drinking each other in. Despite your earlier resolve to keep your distance, you found yourself unable to resist the magnetic pull of his presence.
The silence stretched on, the only sound the faint hum of the city outside and your breaths mingling together. Finally, you spoke up, breaking the heavy silence between you. "I don't know what to do, Daniel," you said softly, your voice shaky.
Daniel opened his eyes and looked at you, his gaze intense and unwavering. "Do you want me to leave?" he asked, his voice taut with anticipation.
Your breath caught in your throat as you met his eyes. You wanted to say yes, to push him away and keep yourself safe. But something held you back, something deep inside that refused to let him go.
"No," you whispered, your voice barely audible. "I don't want you to go." A relieved exhale escaped from Daniel's lips, and he took another step closer to you. His hands twitched at his sides as if he wanted to reach out and touch you but wasn't sure if it was welcome.
“Let’s get you cleaned up” you whispered looking at him. Daniel gave you a weak smile, relief, and gratitude in his eyes. "Okay," he said quietly, following you into the bathroom.
You sat him down on the edge of the bathtub and began rummaging through your medical supplies, grabbing some antiseptic and bandages. As you tended to his wounds, you were acutely aware of his presence, the heat of his body, and the steady rise and fall of his chest.
The silence was heavy as you worked, the only sound was the occasional hiss from Daniel as you cleaned his cuts. His eyes were fixed on you, watching your every move with a mixture of pain and something deeper, something more intense.
When you finished cleaning his wounds, you gently placed a small bandage over a particularly deep gash on his forehead. "There," you said quietly, your hands lingering on his skin for a moment longer than necessary.
Daniel lifted his hand, covering yours with his own. His skin was warm and rough, the contrast between your soft fingers and his calloused palms sending a shiver down your spine. He looked up at you then, his eyes meeting yours, and for a brief moment, the world seemed to stop. There was so much unspoken emotion in his gaze, so much longing and desire.
“Please forgive me I’ll do anything baby and I mean anything,” Daniel says his voice was raw and pleading, and the sight of him like this tugged at something deep within you. The way he was looking at you, the desperation in his eyes, made it hard to hold onto your anger and fear.
"Anything?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper, not entirely sure what you were asking for.
"Anything," Daniel repeated, his voice almost a growl, his gaze intense as he looked into your eyes. "Name it, and I'll do it. Just...don't leave me."
His words sent a thrill through you, the intensity of his plea setting your heart racing. You knew you should push him away, maintain your distance, and protect yourself, but the way he was looking at you, the desperation in his voice...it was undoing all your defenses.
You took a small step closer to him, your hands still resting on his face. "I'm trying to forgive you, Daniel," you said quietly, your voice hoarse with emotion. "But it's not easy, not after what I saw. I can't forget it, no matter how much I want to."
Daniel let out a ragged sigh, his eyes closing briefly as he leaned into your touch. "I know," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "And I don't expect you to just forget about it. But please, give me a chance to make it up to you. I can't lose you."
The pleading tone of his voice sent a wave of sympathy through you, and you couldn't help but soften a little. "How can I trust you?" you asked quietly, your fingers tracing the edge of his jaw. "How can I know that you won't drag me into something dangerous again?"
Daniel sighed, his eyes falling closed again as he basked in the feeling of your touch. "I promise you, I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. You'll never have to see that side of me again, I swear it."
He lifted his hand, grasping your wrist and pressing your palm against his cheek, holding your hand in place. "Please," he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper. "Please give me another chance. I love you."
Those three words, spoken with such raw emotion, shook you to your core. The realization that he truly loved you, despite everything that had happened, was both exhilarating and terrifying.
"I love you too," you heard yourself saying, the words slipping out before you could stop them. And as soon as they were out, you knew they were true. Despite all your fears and reservations, you loved him too, wholeheartedly and completely.

Any name, any description lol but the boys never guy koala shots when they were in Australia last time.. soo so a scenario where they return an it involves some sort of trip to an animal rescue of some kind? OR some thing... and Noah having to lean down so the handler can help him DE-CLING the koala from his arms and shoulder, their claws can get you, the guys all joking about his new girlfriend maybe... but he'd rather the handler... -- up to you if you go on to make it smutty after the cute meet, maybe invite for drinks.. OR just an intense flirt... but...
Yep... koala flirting delulu lol, sorry, for, the ramble.
Fully understand if this is a no can do, I know specific place requests can be difficult, but I thought there was no harm in asking, thank you for reading just the same.
The amount of research I just did on Koalas is wild 🤣 I’m hoping this does your ask some justice!
After Writing Notes: This was cute, and fun to write. It's shorter than some of my others, and truly just fluffy, early stages, flirtations. I enjoyed this! I hope you do too!
Rating: Mature (language)
Warnings: Nuffin but good ol' fashioned fluff.
Please Please Please
“Now, let’s see if the little man likes you or not, shall we?”
Mira, our veteran Koala, who was used to our regular visitation schedule was lazily clung to my shirt, as she was most days. Her jaws crunched on a Eucalyptus leaf, not minding all of the sweet attention she was getting. The bright-eyed boy standing in front of me beamed at her, but I could tell he was nervous.
“Alright, now we’re going to just gently place her on your chest, and if she likes you, she’ll cling!” I carefully handed Mira over to the boy, no older than twelve, who shakily held her up. Mira’s claws grabbed onto his shirt, and she tucked her head into his neck lovingly.
She truly was a great performer.
“Oh my God, she’s holding me!” He exclaimed, excited, but still hushed as not to startle her.
“Look at that, mate! She’s very loving, isn’t she?” I held up another leaf in front of her, one of her small hands latching on and holding it up to her mouth.
The mother of the young boy looked absolutely horrified. “How long does he hold her for?”
“Ah, just a minute or two. I’ve got a few other folks waiting to get to say hello.” I stuffed my hands in my pants pockets, smiling while watching Mira tickle the young man’s neck with her ear hairs.
“Are all Koalas this friendly?” He asked as his hand gently stroked the plush hair on her back.
“Actually, no. Koalas can be quite territorial, especially around their young. They bite and scratch just like any other beast you’d come across.” I could see his mom beginning to sweat. “Mira here is very accustomed to human beings. She’s one of our rehabilitated patients who was not eligible for release.”
“Why not?” The worrisome woman eyed me.
“Poor thing got caught in the wildfires a few years ago, and she’s almost completely blind now due to the smoke. She’d never survive in the wild.” I placed a hand on her head, smiling sweetly at her. “So, instead, she’s our designated education Koala!”
The boy smiled, and moved toward me to begin removing her from his chest. “I think she’s amazing.”
“That, she is.” I graciously took my girl, and turned to place her back on her tree. I could tell she was in need of a bit of a break.
Noticing more patrons had not arrived quite yet for their experiences, I closed the door behind my guests of the enclosure, and set up a ‘Be Back in 30’ sign.
Once in the break room, I sat at the table, running fingers through my hair that was tangled where it ended on the back of my neck. Kylie, who had been working the python exhibit all morning, came bounding in, sitting next to me heavily.
“Eh, Charlie. You alright?”
I was chewing the end of a peanut butter sandwich and zoning out, trying not to let my mind wander too far.
“Good here. You?”
She smiled empathetically. “That’s not convincing, babe. Still thinking about him?”
Shrugging hard, I set my sandwich back down and put my face in my palms. “Why would he ghost me?” I sighed, feeling defeated. “I really thought we were getting on, ya know?”
Placing a hand on my back, she smiled sweetly at me. “I’m sure you were! Some guys are just fucking useless! He probably did you a favor, really.”
I laid my chin down on my hands on the table. “Maybe. It still blows. I feel like dating is just pointless these days.”
Kylie laughed at that. “Nah, not true.” Sitting back in her chair, she reached to interlock her hands behind her head. “Remember that Roy guy I went out with a few weeks back?” I just nodded. “Best lay I’ve had, hands down.”
My eyes blew out wide before my stomach began rolling with laughter. She joined me, clapping a hand on my shoulder.
“Don’t give up on dating, babe. There’s a guy out there for you.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, not likely.”
-
The day was passing so slow, it almost made my eyes roll back. By the time my watch told me it was close to the end, only half hour till, I was exhausted. So was Mira. My eyes scanned the passers by, wondering how many I’d be able to fit in before the end of the day, as I saw a group of guys reading the information plaque on the glass just outside.
One of the guys, a lanky boy with tattoos shadowing the length of his arms, was the only one of them looking into the exhibit, instead of at the description. If I hadn’t known better, I’d say he was looking at me.
That couldn’t be right, though. I was holding Mira, so he was probably looking at her.
“Excuse me?” One of them had broken off from the pack and stepped inside the door. “It says on there to come in to see the Koalas?”
He was a shorter gentleman with long, black hair tied back in a bun on the back of his head. I noticed his accent, and internally groaned. Americans.
“Yeah!” I smiled at him brightly. “Come on in!”
He motioned for his friends, the other three trailing behind. The last one to come in was the tall guy with hair only slightly shorter than mine. His eyes wandered around the trees and the pond behind me.
“Oh my gosh!” The shortest one was grinning ear to ear, staring directly at Mira. “They’re so cute!”
I looked down at the gray baby on my chest, and pet her lovingly. “They are. They’re my favorite creatures here at the preserve.”
“Do they bite?” A taller man, who had a slightly different accent that I couldn’t place, asked.
“They sure can.” I nodded, and waved a hand. “But Mira here never has. She’s an absolute gem.”
Looking between them all, I noticed they were all wearing various band t-shirts, with the exception of our large friend, who only wore a black beater. He stood the most reserved, hands in his pockets.
“Anyone want to hold her?”
“Serious?!” The shortest bloke perked up first, stepping toward me cautiously. “Can I, please?”
I chuckled. “Of course! I’ll hand her to you,” I began peeling Mira from me. “and if she latches, she likes you!”
Almost vibrating with excitement, the man took her gently, and Mira wrapped her short arms around his neck, seeming to take to him exceptionally.
“Excellent!” I clapped. “You’re a natural!”
He smiled brightly at his friends. “Check it out, guys!” They all took turns looking at Mira up close, a couple reaching out to touch her head.
“You want a photo?” I asked and the tallest one nodded, slipping a cell out of his pocket and handing it to me.
The four boys posed, all smiling and wrapping arms around each other.
“Alright, one…two…three.” I snapped a picture, but noticed a couple of them blinking. I pursed my lips. “Let me get a few, alright?”
They nodded and held their spots. As I was preparing to snap another, I saw a look of panic flash over the boy holding Mira.
“She’s letting go! I don’t want to drop her!”
“Oh!” Instinctively, I slipped the mobile into my vest pocket and reached out to grab Mira.
For whatever reason, she had become startled, and wanted out of the grip. It had been a long day, and she was likely over all of the attention. When I pulled her from the guy’s arms, her nails scratched across the side of his neck.
“Ouch!” He exclaimed, holding a hand up. All of his friends were looking at him.
“I’m so sorry about that, mate! It’s been quite the day for our girl here.” He moved his hand and was bleeding ever so slightly.
Seemingly rebounded, he shook his head and grinned at me. “No, I totally get it. I appreciate her letting me hold her at all.”
I set Mira on her tree, plucking her a leaf and handing it to her before turning back to the bunch. “There’s a med room on your way out the exit. They can give you a swab to clean that with.” I smiled apologetically at them.
“Thanks again…Charlie?” The boy checked my name tag. I nodded. He stuck his hand out for me to shake. “I’m Nick.”
I nodded. “Pleasure to meet you guys.”
They filed out one by one, giving small waves. The tall boy’s eyes carried mine just a little longer than the rest, and it gave me a warm feeling in my stomach.
What a cutie.
-
“So how’d the rest of the day go, Char?”
Unpinning my tag and putting it in my locker, I nodded before sitting down to slip my runners off.
“Not terrible. Mira scratched someone, though.”
She frowned. “Oh no. Are they alright?”
Sighing, I began unbuttoning my vest. “Yeah, he was just happy to get to see her. Group of American guys.”
When I shrugged off my best, I noticed it felt heavy, which was odd. Slipping my fingers in the pockets, I felt the flat, cool screen, and let my head fall back.
“Fuck.”
“What’s that?” Kylie had turned her head to look at me.
“I snatched one of their phones on accident. Shit.”
She giggled. “Well, damn. Did you catch his name?”
I shook my head. “No. Just his friend who got hurt, and not even a last name.”
“Mm, better put it in lost and found then.”
I stood, reaching to set down the phone. Before I could, it began vibrating in my hand, and I turned it over. The face of the boy I had interacted with earlier popped on the screen with the name ‘Folio’ on it.
I bit my lip, and Kylie noticed. “Going to answer it?”
“Should I?”
She just gestured toward me in a ‘duh’ fashion.
I swiped open the call, and put it up to my ear.
“Hello?”
“So, you have my phone.” A smooth, baritone voice came through the speaker.
I smiled, sitting on the bench behind me. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t even think about it.”
There was a soft chuckle on the other end. “No problem. Can I come get it?”
I looked up at Kylie, who was watching me expectedly. “Well, the preserve is closed for the night. I can leave it at the lost and found and you can grab it in the morning?”
“Hmm,” I heard him thinking. “I kind of can’t wait that long to get it back. Plus, I fly out in the morning.”
“Ah,” I sighed. “well, are you staying nearby? I can probably drop it off on my way home.”
“Well, the guys and I are going to Faldry’s for dinner. Could you meet me there?”
“Sure, that’s on my way.”
I heard a sigh of relief. “I really appreciate it, uh,” There was a beat of silence. “what was your name, again?”
I smiled. “Charlie.”
“That’s right.” I swore I could hear a smile in his voice. “I’m Noah.”
“Alright Noah, I can be there in half?”
“Sure, I’ll be there.”
-
The drive to the restaurant was quick, and for some reason, I felt nervous? I guess that made sense, given it was embarrassing that I managed to take this random stranger’s phone without even trying. I had a great gift for being an absolute moron. The parking lot was relatively full, so I pulled into a space toward the back. Unsure of how to let him know how I was here, I walked into the building, taking a breath and glancing around the room for the person I was trying to find.
The host approached the stand, flashing his teeth at me. "Evening. Do you have a reservation?"
Gripping the strap of my bag, I let my face fall. "Uh, no," My head whipped around more, still no luck in finding the party. "I'm here to see someone?"
He nodded tapping his computer screen. "Name?"
I closed my eyes, realizing I didn't know his surname. "Noah..." My stare pleaded with him. "He's uh, tall? Dark hair? Tattooed?"
He stared at me, clearly not following.
"He's American? With a group?"
This seemed to spark his memory, a flash of recognition crossing his features.
"Ah, I know who you mean. They're toward the back, table sixteen."
Smiling apologetically, I moved around the booth toward the other side of the dining room. Once I rounded the corner around the bar, I could see the table, more people than I recognized sitting around it.
Noah was sat, ball cap on his head, laughing at something with everyone else at the table. My chest stuttered for a moment. Now, instead of a casual tank top, he wore a plain white t-shirt. His hair peaked out from under his hat. Most noticeable was his smile, so bright and stunning. I hadn't had the chance to catch that earlier...
I gripped the phone in my hand, and swallowed before making my way over to the table. The boy I had spoken with earlier in the day - Nick - noticed me first.
"Hey!" All eyes lifted to me, and I felt more nervous than I had previously.
I gave a small wave, tucking some of my hair behind my ear. "Hello, everyone."
Noah stood, walking around the table. I handed him the phone, and he smirked at me. "Thank you so much for bringing this. I can't tell you how screwed I would've been if you hadn't."
I nodded, feeling so small stood next to him. "Of course. It was my fault, anyway."
His hand dismissed me. "It happens."
A strange, awkward silence fell over us, so I turned to the rest of the group, giving a timid grin. "Well, I'll be off, then."
"Wait," I felt fingers grab my forearm, gently pulling my attention. I looked up at Noah again, his face soft. "can I maybe," He glanced back at his friends for...something? Approval, maybe? "buy you a drink or something?"
I was caught off guard, and my face must've shown it, because his hand fell from my arm.
"Oh, uh," My eyes bounced off of the other faces at the table, who were still mostly looking right at me. "I shouldn't. I don't want to intrude."
He shook his head. "You're not! I want to do something to thank you for this." He held his phone up for reference.
I smiled, finding it exceptionally difficult to turn him down. "I mean, I suppose I could go for a cold one."
Something pulled the corners of his lips up at me.
"Great!" He turned back to his mates. "I'll be back?"
They all nodded, Nick giving him a brotherly slap on the arm. He lead me over to the bar, and pulled a stool out for me before taking the one to my right.
The bartender took our order, both of us settling on some ale before he turned his face to look at me.
"So," The drinks were placed in front of us, and I took a pull from my pint. "you like animals, huh?"
This made me laugh. What a generic conversation starter. He didn't have a lot to go on, and it was funny.
"I do. Always have."
He took a drink, and set his glass down hard on the bar. "That's really cool."
He was trying, but that topic could only get us so far.
"Do you?" I decided to venture.
"As much as the next person, I guess? I have a dog at home."
I smiled, wiping my upper lip on the napkin under my glass. "Back in the States?"
He nodded. "In California."
"Ah, what's that like?"
"You've never been over there?"
I shook my head, swallowing my beer. "Never been across the pond. Only time I left Straya was when my family would go to New Zealand on vacation. It's been a long time, though."
"New Zealand? Wow, that sounds amazing."
"It really is. It's beautiful there. And safe."
He took a big gulp of his beer, and began folding his own napkin over itself. "Well, California isn't." He said with a laugh.
I quirked an eyebrow. "I've heard." I turned my body to look at him better, studying the tattoos on his skin. "So what brings you here?"
He smiled to himself then, chewing on his thumbnail. "We had a concert."
"A concert? You flew all this way to see a band?"
He finished his drink, and signaled to the barkeep for another. "We are the band."
This made me pause. That made sense, now didn't it?
"Oh. Very nice!" The bartender brought us two fresh drinks. "What kind of music?"
"Rock music. Metal-ish?"
"What do you call yourselves?"
He smirked, staring at me from his peripherals. "Bad Omens."
"Hmm," I took a drink of my fresh beer. "that's interesting."
He snickered. "Interesting? How do you mean?"
"Sounds kind of dark."
"That's the point, honestly."
I traced the rim of the glass with my index finger, looking at him as he spoke. His lips were so pretty. And his eyes were so dark that they were almost enticing.
"I see." I finally looked away from him, down at the bubbles in my drink. "So, how do you like it here?"
He leaned forward, pressing his elbows onto the bar. "It's not my first time. It's been a while, though. I like it."
"But...?" I could tell he wasn't sold.
His cheeks tinted. "It's really hot. And the spiders are fucking crazy."
This caused a deep belly laugh to pull out of me. "That's too funny."
"Why is that funny?" He cackled with me, and I wiped a tear from my eyes.
"Ah, I don't know. A big tough guy like you being afraid of spiders? It's just funny."
He looked at me curiously. "Hey, I'm not afraid of them. I just prefer not to find giant ones in my hotel bathroom."
This only made me laugh harder, and his elbow bumped my arm playfully.
"You've got a good laugh."
This brought me back to Earth for a second, now feeling self-conscious. I contained my giggles and looked back at him.
"What?"
His smirk was silly when he brought his glass to his lips. "I like your laugh."
I shook my head. "Thank you?"
He giggled into his cup. "You're welcome."
We sat this way for a while. He continued to drink beer, but I ordered a soda after my second drink. Continuing to laugh about various different subjects, and telling stories, we then noticed the restaurant beginning to thin.
"Well then, we've been here a while, haven't we?" I mentioned as I glanced around.
"Yeah, I guess so." His eyes were sparkling when they looked at me, which made something in my stomach flip. "I've had a good time talking to you."
Returning the sentiment, I leaned against his arm. "Me too."
His mouth pouted for a second. "I'm pretty bummed I'm leaving tomorrow, or I'd offer to take you on an actual date."
This made me nearly choke on the Cola I was sucking through my straw.
"Oh yeah?" Was all I could manage.
"Well, sure. Why not?"
I raised a brow at him. "Rockstar like yourself? You've got to have a lady at home waiting, don't you?"
He huffed out a sigh, staring down at his hands. "Nah, not lately."
Chewing on my lip, I shrugged. "Then I guess," I leaned in so he could hear me clearly. "it is a shame you have to leave tomorrow."
I could feel his breath on my face, and his brow furrowed, studying me.
"I'll just have to come back soon, huh?"
Smiling, I let my stare fall on his lips. "I guess you will."
His face came closer to mine, the proximity making the air thick. I could smell the alcohol on his breath, and his nose brushed against mine. Letting my eyes fall closed, I waited for him to close the gap.
"Can I walk you to your car?"
My eyes snapped open, noticing he hadn't moved, but also hadn't moved.
A shred of disappointment filled me, but I pulled back, gathering my thoughts.
"Uh," I shouldered my purse, a bewildered look on my face. "sure."
I slipped off of the barstool, and walked past him, noticing his palm finding the small of my back to guide me toward the door.
Once outside, the crisp summer evening bit at my skin. I pulled the sleeves of my sweatshirt over my hands as we walked to my car, far in the back of the, now mostly empty, parking lot.
I turned around once I had reached the driver's door, intending to bid him a good night and a safe flight home, but - for the second time - was caught off guard.
His chest pressed against mine, pinning me against the side of my car, and his lips crashed into mine. He was gentle, but still forceful enough to make my knees goes weak.
His hands held the roof of my car on either side of my head, and my eyes rolled back as I molded into him, my hands reaching up to grasp the sides of his neck. He breathed into me, sparking something hot in my chest, and made me press my body closer against his.
One of his arms circled around my waist, lifting me up on my tip-toes to reach his face easier. Our lips fought for leverage, tongues swiping over each other. My brain was buzzing with the intensity of it.
When he finally pulled away from me, bringing me back down on the ground, I was breathing heavily, and staring up at him hungrily. He smiled, a sheen of moisture on his swollen bottom lip.
"Thank you, Charlie, for a great evening."
My pupils were dilated wide, and my hands were gripping his shirt, still.
"Thank you for the drinks, Noah."
Letting him go, my hands falling loose at my sides, he took a step back, looking down at the ground where he kicked at the asphalt.
"Could I, maybe..." He was hesitating, which was funny, given he was so confident not a moment before. "Can we exchange numbers?"
My eyebrows shot up at the absurdity of it. He lived thousands of miles away.
"You're serious?"
He just looked at me, pleading. "I am."
I scoffed, holding a hand out. "Let me see your cell."
This brought a grin to his face, his hand slipping his phone out of his pocket. "You're going to give it back this time?"
I rolled my eyes playfully. "Maybe."
He unlocked the screen, and I opened a new contact. Quickly adding myself, I handed it back to him. He looked over the screen, and nodded, satisfied.
He huffed out a sigh, and then held his arms open. I pulled into them, the abnormally long limbs wrapping around me easily.
"Be safe getting home?"
He nodded when he pulled away. "Of course."
I could see his regard, trying to decide if he should. Deciding for him, I careened up as tall as I could, and placed one last soft kiss on his lips.
"Goodnight, Noah."
I opened my door, and sat down in the driver's seat.
"Goodnight, Charlie."
The entire drive home, all I could see in my mind's eye was deep brown eyes and tattoos. Long fingers and even longer arms. Short, straight black hair. An annoyingly adorable smile.
What were the odds? I finally meet a guy, and I will likely will never see him again...
I pulled into my drive, leaning my head against the steering wheel. I'm just so lucky.
My phone lit up in my console, and I grabbed it hastily. The unknown number flashed on my screen.
Noah: Hey beautiful. ;)

TW: None? Let me know if I've missed any!
♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤~♤
"Damn it!" You hissed as your last pair of contacts had dried out. You looked at them in disbelief before moving to find your glasses. Usually, the world was an uncomfortable blur; your terrible eyesight made people standing even two feet away appear blurry and their faces unreadable.
Valeria, who had perfect eyesight, watched you walk around, moving your hands over the objects on your nightstand and dresser, pulling them mere inches away from your face before putting them back down. An amused smile played on her lips, your mind so focused on finding your glasses that you had forgotten Valeria was still in the room, lounging in bed.
"What are you looking for?" she questioned with an amused tone. A small, startled scream escaped your lips before you turned and squinted your eyes to try to see Valeria clearly.
"What in God's name—have you been in here the whole time?" you questioned immediately as Valeria's laugh echoed into the room. "Yep, just enjoying the show," Valeria replied, her laughter continuing. "You're like a detective investigating a crime scene without your glasses. Or trying to decode some ancient script. It's cute."
You scowled, the effort of squinting making the expression comical. "This is not cute. This is a serious situation. I can't see anything."
Valeria sat up, her laughter subsiding but a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Well, maybe you should've taken better care of your last pair of contacts. What's your plan now, Sherlock?"
You huffed, knowing you looked ridiculous. "I guess I'll have to go to the optometrist and get a new set. But right now, I need you to guide me. Help me find my glasses, Val, Please." you hummed out before you made your way back to the bed.
"You broke your last pair when you fell, remember?" Valeria added.
"Oh, right," you muttered, mentally facepalming. "Well, that complicates things. I might need a walking stick instead of glasses."
"Okay, blind detective, what's the plan now?" Valeria asked, settling in next to you.
"I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get new contacts," you replied, a hint of frustration in your voice.
Valeria patted your back reassuringly. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out. In the meantime, you can enjoy the world of artistic blur. Who knows, you might discover a hidden talent for abstract art."
You chuckled, appreciating Valeria's lighthearted approach to the situation. "Maybe I'll start a new movement: Impressionistic Living."
Valeria grinned. "I can't wait to see your masterpiece." "You might be witnessing the birth of a genius," you huffed dramatically, gesturing toward the blurry surroundings.
Valeria pointed her blurry arm at random objects from the room. "Describe this masterpiece to me. What do you see?"
You squinted in the general direction of her hand. "It's a... uh, blob of colors.. Definitely represents the complexities of life."
Valeria burst into laughter. "I think you're onto something. Abstract art enthusiasts would pay a fortune for that description."
"I can't even see your expression's Val, you're a blurry blob, a hot blurry blob, but a blob." You sighed now even more annoyed with yourself.
Valeria playfully pouted. "Well, as long as I'm a hot blurry blob, I guess that's acceptable."
You sighed again, dramatically. "Imagine all the details I'm missing right now. Your fabulous hair, your radiant smile, and, most importantly, your evil plotting expression."
Valeria chuckled. "Ah, the evil plotting expression is a fan favorite. Too bad you're missing out."
You mimicked a gasp. "Maybe this is all part of your grand plan. Sabotaging my vision for world domination."
"Lean closer so I can." You pouted as you tried to release you eyes from squinting, the headache from the squinting, that wasn't helping, already forming.
Valeria leaned in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "Yes, my grand plan is to make you utterly dependent on me. Step one: sabotage your vision. Step two: rule the world together. It's foolproof, really."
You groaned, "I knew falling for you was a risky move."
Valeria chuckled, her breath warm on your face. "Risk is my middle name." "I knew it." You playfully mumbled before she leaned in and left a gentle kiss on your lips.

I dare you to let me go
(this is part 3 of my javery fanfic. Enjoy reading!)
Part 2↓
AVERY
If there's one thing Avery had learned as a 21 year old philanthropist, it's that it doesn't matter how rich you are or how many people you have working for you, if you want something done correctly, you have to do it yourself.
She was beyond frustrated as she walked into the foyer of the Hawthorne House. It still gave her the same homely comfort. She couldn't wait to go to bed and fall asleep with Jameson wrapped around her. She missed seeing him awake. She sometimes hoped that he couldn't fall asleep so that they could talk and spend some time together.
Where was he? She stopped walking when she saw Lyra in the solarium with a cigarette in one hand and a glass in the other.
I should ask her.
"Hey"
"Oh look who decided to show up" Lyra seemed annoyed to Avery, but she couldn't make out why.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"What's wrong? You didn't even show up to your own birthday party!"
"Wha-" realisation dawned on Avery mid-sentence. Her blood turned to ice as Lyra grew even more pissed than before.
"You're seriously not telling me you forgot your own birthday. I bet you don't even remember about last night's dinner plan with your beau."
Dinner pla- the card. Oh no.
She had it with her, but she'd forgotten to solve the riddle on it. But Lyra seemed agitated enough already, so she stayed quiet.
"I'm so sorry, Ly. I'm so, so sorry. Where is everyone?"
Where is Jameson?
"All about the house. I haven't seen Jamie, either. Maybe he's still waiting in the miserable little party room" she sassed, Avery couldn't blame her.
Her thoughts came to a screeching hault as she went to the ballroom. It was covered in platinum and violet decorations and a banner that said 'Happy Birthday to the Prettiest Girl on Earth!' It was gorgeous. Guilt hit her like a brick.
How many occasions like this had she missed and didn't know?
"Avery?"
"Xander."
"Where were you?" He said with a frown. Xander Hawthorne almost never frowned. She didn't answer Xander's question and instead asked her own.
"Where's Jameson?"
"I don't know. He's probably tryna catch a breath in the solarium or the passageways."
"Catching a breath?"
Yep. I've screwed up.
"Yeah. He seemed upset. We waited for you for two hours in a crouch. We're going to have a funeral for our toes," he told her. He didn't put his usual xander-esque sarcastic flair to it.
Correction: I've screwed up, bad.
Avery called Oren over and told him to find Jameson.
In the time that Avery, Grayson and Xander got to Jameson's wing, everyone else had also started searching for him and tried to call him. She slipped inside his room. It always smelled so… him. He still wore the same perfume she got for him on his birthday. She pushed aside the nostalgia and started looking for anything that was out of order. So far, everything was normal - messy room, chair piled full of clothes. Pictures of her on his nightstand. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the bathroom door slightly ajar.
"We found nothing. Did you?"
She could not did not answer Grayson and Xander as she pushed the bathroom door. It gave out a long squeak, as if to make a grand entrance to the horror it was. She heard Xander gasp and Grayson suck in a breath.
The mirror was shattered into a million pieces. The cracks were concentric, meaning he'd probably punched it. He had punched it, considering the crimson in the sink. Avery saw a thousand reflections of herself in the gleaming pieces. She recognised none. How could I have been so blind? She could feel the dread and panic brewing in her gut.
A box lay on the ground. She gingerly picked it up.
"I'll go see if Oren found out anything" said Grayson, and took Xander away with him.
-------------------------------------------
"He did what?" Avery said in disbelief.
"He was last seen at the airport."
"And that's all you found out?" Asked Grayson.
"Yes. They said they were legally restrained from sharing the whereabouts of a person's private jets or their destinations."
"He got a plane? When?" How would've been the better question, but she chose the indirect path of questioning. She knew he frequently visited the devil's mercy. He'd won The Annual Game twice now. She didn't know what he traded the winner's seal for the second time, but it was clearly enough to buy a plane. Another blow of guilt hit her at how different things were the first time he'd won versus now.
"An year ago. Probably to avoid getting found in situations such as this one."
This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. Did she miss more dates and break more promises than she would have liked? Yes. But he couldn't just up and go whenever and wherever. He couldn't fly off with zero explanations leaving her worried and confused.
He couldn't just leave like that.
Avery decided to ask Grayson to use his… resources, but he was already on the phone with his PI.
"It's getting late, kid. We should all get some sleep" said Nash, who'd spoken for the first time since the discussion started. Everyone started going back to their rooms. But Grayson followed Avery.
"Avery, wait." She turned around, knowing why he'd stopped her.
"I'm alright, Grayson, really. And he'll come back, I'm sure. This isn't him."
"And this didn't used to be you, either. But here we are."
"What does that mean?"
"It means Jamie isn't just 'coming back.' You're family, Avery. You've been one of us ever since you came here. But we've all seen you two for the last few years" he stopped talking, as if struggling to say what came after.
"You were there without really being there. And I understand, it's not easy, being so young and changing the world. Jamie waited for you and accepted bits and pieces because he loves you too much. But you did break his heart, and you weren't even there to witness it. You didn't even notice until he disappeared."
-------------------------------------------------
Avery got to her room and shut the door.
She pulled out the card- the one that Jameson gave her. It was a fairly easy riddle, easy because he might've been thinking she wouldn't waste spend too much time solving it.
Rrain oon oour rooffs imittates the soound of clapps blaaring in a ttheatre. <3
You just had to pluck out the unnecessary letters. And when the less-than symbol was inverted and attached to the 3, the kiss symbol looked like an 8.
Rooftop at 8. It said rooftop at 8pm, for a dinner plan. Probably followed by stargazing, as she loved to do. She'd rant about starts and constellations; how she felt slightly humbled staring at them, and Jameson would just listen fondly. She'd taken him for granted, hadn't she? And she could bet she hasn't been much humble at times, either.
But she'd always loved him.
She just hadn't shown it. That was probably one of her biggest regrets.
And then, only in the privacy of her room could she manage to open the box. She could not open it in that bathroom and risk crying in front of everyone. The tears started falling only after she flipped open the lid.
Nestled inside was an emerald-studded ring.

Just thinking about some stuff, whole train-of-thought re: Wash's induction into PFL, (and the idea that it would be hilarious if he was actually one of the first Freelancers selected for the project despite being considered by the others to be a rookie) and it sort of spiraled back into the idea that he and Ohio (Vera) worked together pre-PFL.
Cause like, Wash had to have done at least 7* years in the military, he reached at least corporal (I've seen a head-canon he might have even been a sergeant on his way to staff sergeant but got demoted as part of his court-martial and I'm here for that tbh) and as a corporal he would have been a team leader for a small team, or at least he would be cleared to act in that capacity. (UNICOM Corporal: Enlisted Officer 4th rank - Typical Responsibilities: Fireteam leader)
(*IRL court-martials can come with prison time, so Wash might have been in prison for 'a little while' before PFL, then released with just enough time to realise how hard it would be to get back in the fight before PFL “conveniently” came along with a job offer, or they offered to broker a deal to keep him out of prison if he worked for them instead. If he was discharged right before being recruited and he was recruited at the start of the recruitment period he actually would have been in the military for 9 years at least, which I think we all know by this point?)
Anyway, I'm just picturing rookie!Vera has been assigned to David's team (and yes, as always I'm secretly running “his last name starts with 'C' and his 'call sign' was D.C.” head-canons) and she's not fresh from an academy new, but D.C.'s team is the elite in their field type team, so she's still out of her depth a bit.
Naturally, Military Intelligence has proven to be an oxymoron still, and bad intel has them all in over their heads. The team gets split as they're trying to wipe out a target via ground assault. D.C. takes a flash-bang (or alien equivalent) basically to the face and ends up blind (temporarily) so he's out there with a makeshift blindfold wrapped around his head to stop his eyes taking any more radiant damage and letting Vera steer them through the unfriendly terrain.
And Vera would really like to go home but they still have a job to do, especially if they're the only ones left, so she and D.C. stealth their way to their objective, but they run into a problem, a small covie strike team, and Vera doesn't know how they manage to take them out between her and her currently blind commanding officer, but they do, except for one, who makes a run for it back towards the covie base to tattle on them after the radio gets wiped out.
The covie is way too far ahead of them, they'll never catch up, and they're running out of time before it alerts the base, Vera doesn't know what to do, but D.C. tells her she has to use the sniper and take the shot herself.
“Can-can't you do it?”
“Literally blind kid.”
“Right. … shit.”
“Yep.”
“Okay, okay, I can do this, I can totally do this.”
And Vera fumbles the sniper into position and freezes. She can't do this, holy shit, holy shit, holy shit, and the covie bastard is running fucking serpentine!
And then D.C.'s hand is on her back and he's telling her to breathe with him.
“You know where he's running too, look at the ground, he can't stack it now, he'll take the easiest path, that's how he's going to move, aim, lead the target for distance and speed, take the shot. You can do this, look how well you've already done while lugging my blind ass around, you have the potential, the skills, the training. Breathe. Aim. Lead. Take the shot.”
For three long seconds after she shoots, Vera worries she's hyperventilated herself high and imagined landing the shot that turned the covie's head into confetti.
It was an improbably shot and she'd landed it.
"Holy shit did you fucking see that? I mean, uh... sir? boss? -"
"Nope, still blind :) and you know what, you can just call me David; David's fine."
They finish the mission and rejoin the rest of the team, complete success thanks to their maintained stealth.
A few years later, Agent Washington will point to that shot as proof Vera has what it takes to be a Freelancer when he's asked for his opinions on some potential recruits.
It's the reason Wash was the last to know the Triplets were gone. If he'd heard it from on-high, he would have known something sus had gone down, and his penchant for breathtakingly vicious revenge would have endangered Price. Instead, hearing it fifth hand, Wash was left believing Vera had dropped out without telling him because he'd somehow made her think he'd be ashamed of her, and what kind of bastard was he, that she didn't think she could come to him with her worries, that she'd leave without leaving. Did she know he'd put her name forward, did she blame him?

YO! I JUST READ YOUR CAUGHT FIC AND MA'AM??? WHAT WAS THIS BLESS TO MY EYES LIKE- 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
I really like your writing and i have this idea on my mind for soo fricking long. I already send this for like,three people but no one make it. You are my last hope 🥺
Ok ok ok,the idea and scenario is:
Rise!Leo x blind reader (alredy looking cute right??? But wait,her me out here. And ah,reader can be female,preferable)
Leo always visited her exactly because she's blind so the reader wouldn't mind about him been a turtle for obvious reasons,but one day reader goes "i wanna know how you look like,can i touch your face?" and of course this boy PANIC cuz the blindness is what making this friendship possible. Even afraid,Leo allow her to feel his face finally knowing about the mutant thing. Now,you would think "she gross out didn't she?"
Ha!
No!
Reader just say "i don't care about your look or aparence,i love you for who you are"
Yep,she confess,like it's nothing and this boy is flabbergasted. Of course he confess too like,who wouldn't after this??? And the kissie kiss in the end for the ⭐️flavor⭐️
What you think? Good enough to write?
ASJDJSJD THANK YOU SM♡
And this idea is so cute omg, I actually wanted to write something similar for Leo cuz I had idea like that and now I have an excuse to write it!
━═━═━═━═━
Love is blind
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leo gently knocked on the window, standing on a fire escape and leaned on the railing. He tapped his foot to the rhythm of the song playing constantly in his head for all day, looking at the bright lights of passing cars below him. Today's night was really nice, warm wind, clear dark sky and the thought of seeing the person he's been waiting to talk to for almost the entire week. The turtle was busy trying to keep the city as safe as he and his brothers could, not having much of free time.
Leo tugged on the material of his blue bandana when he heard a soft click of opening the window. He looked up and smiled noticing a familiar figure.
"Hello there. Long time no see, Leo."
He chuckled at the obvious joke, walking up to the windowsill you were leaning on.
"Well, hello to you too." he crooked his head to the side (not like you actually could see tho). "How did you know it was me?"
"Who else would knock on my window in the middle of the night?" you retored with a smile appearing on your lips.
The turtle made a humming sound comedically information you of him thinking hard on your question, which caused you to let out a quiet giggle, knowing that louder noise could bring unwanted attention. He grinned at that softly, happy he was able to make you laugh.
He knew, despite your constant assuring, that it made you upset when he wasn't able to visit for longer periods of time. He didn't blame you, really, he was equally upset about the thought but he couldn't just tell you why he was away for so long. Was he supposed to just say that he's fighting crime being a ninja mutant turtle? Yeah, sure, that won't happen.
The only thing making this friendship possible was the fact that you couldn't see who he was - who most would be scared of or feel grossed out. And you literally couldn't see.
Sometimes, Leo felt bad for thinking that your blindness was something good. After all, he wished you could see the beauty this world had to offer, how many cool places he would have shown you! The turtle could've only imagine how nice it would have been watching Lou Jitsu movies with you or playing console games or holding hands and looking into each other's eyes- no, wait, he needs to get his head out of the clouds.
'But this can't happen' is what he thought. Not when he's so different than you.
Unfortunately, these thoughts didn't stop the warm feeling that blossomed in his chest when he was with you.
"Hmm, you do have a point." he spoke when a smirk appeared on his face. "Unless you have someone else visiting you at night?"
"Of course not! You're the only one, Leo." you snorted backing away from the window. "Would you like to come in?"
"Yeah, very much." his cheeks started to feel warm as he hoisted himself on a windowsill and jumped inside the building.
He walked up to the nightstand and flicked on the small lamp, dim light scattering around the room. He sat on his usual spot at the foot of the bed and watched as you closed the window. Every time he looked at you the only thing on his mind was how sad it was there you couldn't see how beautiful you are. Therefore, Leo swore to himself to compliment you often, even if you only saw that as a joking flirt.
He sighed, looking away. He really shouldn't get his hopes up.
After a while, the turtle felt the mattress dip as you sat beside him, resting your back on the wall.
"Everything okay?" you asked concerned.
"Yeah, it's fine." he answered quickly. Leo didn't want you to worry so he changed the topic. "How have you been the past week? Anything interesting happened?"
For some reason, he seemed somehow off today but you decided to not push on if he didn't want to talk about it.
"Ah, it was boring as always without someone's constant nagging over my ear." you laughed hearing an offended gasp beside you. "But nothing really happened. How about you, Leo?"
"Well, me and my brothers were pretty busy with stuff, but I managed to get a hold on that game I've been talking to you about last time!" he excitedly waved his hands in the air, his gaze landing on your face.
You smiled, happy he cheered up.
"Oh, yeah, I remember! The one based on the Lou Jitsu movie, right? Tell me about it!"
"Yes, this one! So, when I started the game..."
━═━═━═━═━
"He did what-" you tried to take a breath while hugging a pillow to your chest, laughing uncontrollably and almost falling of your bed.
"THAT WAS EXACTLY MY REACTION WHEN RAPH TOLD ME-" the red-eared turtle was already halfway on the floor, also trying his hardest to control the cackling leaving his mouth.
After almost a two hours of catching up with each other's lives, Leo brought up his genius brother's latest incident with trying to improve the mobility of a toaster - whatever that meant. Apparently, the poor device ended up exploding, causing the destruction of some part of the kitchen. Leo wasn't home at the time so you could imagine his shock seeing the oldest brother making Donnie clean the dark smudges off the walls.
"You really don't have any boring days with your family, huh?" you asked jokingly, wiping the small tears that formed on the corners of your eyes.
Couple more chuckles after, the blue-bandana turtle lifted himself back by your side on the soft cushion as his gaze drifted to your face. He always loved hearing the sound of your laughter, how you couldn't calm yourself down sometimes, the way your wide grin caused the corners of your eyes to crinkle and that happy glint in your usually dull pupils- He's getting ahead of himself again, isn't he?
Covering the bottom of his reddening face (even if it wasn't necessary), he sighted and, apparently, to loudly because concern immediately appeared on your face.
"Leo," you started gently. "are you sure everything is okay?"
Your worried tone somehow struck right through his chest because he struggled to not pour out everything that's been on his mind lately. You were his safe space, someone who would listen to him spilling the contents of his mind, willing to help or just be there for him. Of course, he had his brothers but there were some things that he found difficult to talk to them. But you always knew what he wanted- no, needed to hear.
And Leo was scared of how much you affected him.
"Uh," that's why he did what he found to be the easiest move - bottle his feelings up. "Yeah, everything is good, just a little tired."
You frowned. Knowing from the start that something has been bothering him, you didn't pry, hoping he would eventually told you himself. Though, he started to rebuild the wall that you worked so hard on putting down. You won't let him isolate his feelings like that again.
After a brief silence, you stopped messing with your fingers and filled with determination (get the reference pls), you turned to fully face him.
"Leo, I want to know how you look like." you stated firmly but your voice faltered saying the next sentence. "Can I touch your face?"
He was not expecting that at all. Or maybe just decided to ignore the possibility of this situation for the good of his mental health. That turtle absolutely did not know how to react to that so his body decided that panic is the best option.
"I mean- if you don't feel comfortable with that, then I'm not forcing you or anything! Yeah, that probably sounded weird anyway-" as the answer for his silence you started to frantically wave your hands before your chest. "I just thought that- or maybe, like, I haven't thought at all-"
"Okay."
You stopped your rambling hearing the quiet breathy answer.
"...you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
Soft humm left your mouth as you slowly started to lift your hands. Nervousness filled you, you never asked how he looked like before nor did you care, but now, sitting with him in your room and enjoying yourselves, you slowly started to realize your desire to know more about him - all of him. You wanted to see him.
Leo was the only one who treated you like any other person, not a little child who couldn't do anything on it's own. He was the one who never failed to make your day better with just his mere presence.
I wished to tell him how much he meant to you.
Suddenly, you felt a cold skin pressing to your wrists making you aware of how you stopped all your movements for couple of seconds. Small gasp left your lips at the roughness of his hands and how gently they hold yours. They felt so unusual, their size and temperature were so different of yours, making questions rise in your brain but never leaving your mouth.
With a soft look in his eyes, the turtle began to lead your hands to his face, closing his eyelids and trying to calm himself down. Shiver went down through his body as he felt your warm palms on his cheeks, fingers gently tracing on his skin. His own hands left your wrists thinking you'll going to pull away soon with disgusted expression oh your face, telling him to get out and never come here again. Leo tried to prepare himself for this outcome but he knew that nothing would stop his heart from breaking.
But instead of rejection his eyes snapped open at the quiet 'wow' and the feeling of your hands attentively studying his cheeks, snout, corners of his mouth and soft material of his iconic blue bandana.
"What are you?" you muttered still amazed, no revulsion behind your words, only pure curiosity of experiencing something new.
"A turtle." he answered equally as quiet. "Mutant turtle exactly."
"So you have a shell?" you asked stopping your movements.
Leo nodded but upon realizing you couldn't see that he lowly hummed making your palms slide down his neck and to his back.
"Can you hide in it? Or is it to small? Wait, should I even ask about that? Oh no, did I do something inappropriate-"
"NO! No, it's okay!" he quickly assured you. "I can easily hide in it. Uh, but..."
Your hands found his face again and rested on his cheeks as you waited for him to go on.
"Don't you feel... grossed out? Disgusted? I'm not human, I'm so different form you and- " he paused to take a deep breath, preparing himself for the next words leaving his mouth. "I probably should apologize. I should told you sooner but I used that fact that your not able to tell who I am to keep this friendship. And if you don't want to end it because of me being a mutant then for being selfish liar and that's completely valid-"
"Leonardo Hamato."
The turtle stopped hearing his full name and a small smile on your lips.
"I don't care." breathy laugh leaving you after hearing his confused noise. "I love you for who you are, you know. The one who is there for me when I'm lonely, who makes me laugh and not feel like I'm all alone there. So why would I care if in addition you're a mutant turtle, which, by the way, is like insanely cool."
His brain has stopped working. Wow, good job on breaking him.
"You, what- huh-" the poor turtle tripped in his word not being able to form an understandable sentence, his face becoming warmer and warmer every second.
"Are you okay, Leo?" you asked feeling the unnatural heat from his face.
"Huh? Yeah! I am, hah- yeah, I'm okay, sorry. It's just," he reached and lightly grabbed on one of your wrists. "I wasn't expecting that... If anything, I thought I would be the one to told you I love you. That is, if you wouldn't have freaked out haha..."
You laughed, not as nervous as he did, bringing your other hand to cover your face. You could understand him thought, why he was hesitant to tell you. Most people would sure have freaked out. But you're not 'most people'.
"Hey," you caught his attention, softness in your voice. "can I kiss you?"
You are going to kill him, he thought.
"Woah, you're really straightforward today, huh?" he asked teasingly hoping that would cover the noticeable embarrassment.
"Day?"
"Yeah." he confirmed chuckling. "We were talking so long the sun is already rising."
"Oh well." you shrugged. "I guess it's the perfect moment then."
Without any other warning you moved forward, your lips pressing softly to his. Warm sensation pulled in your chest, your own cheeks now heating up. It didn't take long for Leo to kiss you back lifting his free hand to lay on the back of your head, softly creasing your hair.
After several seconds that felt like an eternity, you pulled away taking a breathe, wide smile plastered in your face.
"So, are we now..?" Leo asked with the same grin, eyes sparkling with adoration.
"Hmm, I don't know, are we?" you teased tilting your head.
He laughed tugging your closer to him, wrapping his arms around you.
"Yeah, we definitely are."

Live Reaction to TRoP 2x01
Spoilers for 2x01 under the cut
the way I shouted, "Go Adar!" at my screen when he flipped the crown over
Sauron in his Caesar era
Sauron exploding and turning everything into ice was so cool
I love Adar so much. There has always been something so inherently tragic to the Orcs because of the corrupted / tortured elves angle and I love that we get to see that in the show
lol Sauron noping out of Forodwaith as black blood / goo
oh no, cute rat. I just know something bad is going to happen to it
yep, there it goes. Fuck you, Sauron. That rat did nothing to you
and neither did the centipede
Sauron eating himself one animal at a time out of that cavern
that black gooey body of his is giving me Studio Ghibli vibes
him sliding down that slope is so funny. He's like a polar bear coming out of hibernation. One very ugly polar bear
that poor woman. But at least the horse got away
hello Halbrand! Long time no see. He must be so happy to finally be able to walk again after crawling around Middle-Earth for Eru knows how long
the fish monster is back, yay
aw and Sauron's having nightmares. Poor baby
"choosing to be good" didn't last that long, did it?
ELROND! There he is! My sweet summer child, beating Galadriel in the race to Lindon. I'm so proud
Galadriel, sweetie, I like you but for Eru's sake, tell someone that Halbrand is Sauron. Please.
Ah, she does. Thank you. But fair form? Really? Have you seen Halbrand? He's a sopping bit of rag (to quote Mary from Ghosts)
"Gaaaaah!" - Gil-galad, I love you. That reaction was so relatable
"No, Galadriel, you were blind." Lol
Not Galadriel talking to Elrond about failure. My boy did everything he could while she was hanging out with Sauron
I can actually see both Elrond and Gil-galad's points in the ring discussion but as a cautious person myself I'm taking Elrond's side here
love the moment when Gil-galad steps forward and places himself in front of Galadriel - a visual reminder that it's now him and Galadriel vs Elrond
I knew Elrond was going to jump but damn, that scene is still painful to watch. He's just trying to do what's right and is now completely alone in the world
ah, Sauron's back to fuck things up for Adar. Of course he is
Nori and the Stranger <3
haha love Nori being the little devil on the Stranger's shoulder and having him wrapped around her little finger
love Nori's glee when her plan works. Nothing makes a hobbit / harfoot happier than food
aw Nori, we miss Poppy too
oh the chihuahua warg is back as well. Maybe it can be Sauron's new friend now that Galadriel has spurned him
I was joking but yay, Sauron has a pet now. His break up is going well
MITHLOND! AAAAAAH!
And Elrond is so not okay but I am very distracted by that flash of collarbone and I am not even sorry
I'm glad Gil-galad is remembering to warn Celebrimbor
aw that little smile on Elrond's face when Cirdan calls Celebrimbor remarkable
and oh, that vulnerable look at, "You do your father proud." I can't
and I can't believe Elrond's the only one considering all possibilities here - that the rings might not be corrupted, yes, but perhaps Galadriel is (also Halbrand touched at least the Mithril - who's to say he didn't do anything to it when he did?)
POPPY! Poppy is back! Aaaah I'm so happy!
oh my heart, the music of the walking song in the background
noooo not Sauron saying he's the friend of the elves and implying Sauron's with them. This is going to lead Adar to attacking Eregion, is it not?
oooooh clever, Sauron. Very clever. "I vow to serve the lord of Mordor."
lol that shit-eating grin on his face when his pet warg wreaks havoc
oh Gil-galad's song. My heart. I can't. This is so beautiful
oh fuck I'm having a Figwit moment. Who is that pretty elf whose shirt is conveniently open below the collar? Because I am looking respectfully and am not okay
Cirdan to the rescue and ouch, Elrond's look of betrayal. The step he takes back in fear
The TRoP Elven rings are still ugly but if I had to choose one, I'd still take Vilya. Always have, always will
I'm so sad Celebrimbor isn't there to see the tree healing
and that Elrond cannot even enjoy the moment because he knows the danger is still there and cannot ignore that
"Do we grant him entry?" Do you? Will you? Has Gil-galad's warning arrived or has it not? I'm off to episode 2 now.

TMA Encore #16
Tumblr media
Martin, Jon, Sasha, and Tim take in fresh air they never thought they’d breathe again and sunlight they never thought they’d feel again. They stare absently at the smoking hole where the Institute used to be. The persistent bustling of the town around them, totally unheeding of their presence, helps draw them out of their shock.
Both sets of Fears are still there. Distantly, but unmistakably. But the hold that the invading set had in the enigma has grown faint, like a droning noise suddenly absent. The world is still and quiet.
Jon feels half-blind–partially because his glasses are nowhere to be found.
The absence of hunger tells them that Not-Jon and Not-Martin are still out there.
After a long heavy silence, they begin to talk in low voices about what to do next. They did make it out, though no one can quite remember how. Their shaky progress has given them some tepid confidence. If they can get themselves away from here without incident, they could potentially rebuild some form of normalcy. The four of them could keep in touch, helping each other monitor their stability.
And they should hurry. There’s a rather uncomfortable feeling in the air.
The four of them do worry where the doubles could be, what they could be doing. But they can’t let themselves get distracted already. Maybe they can work on it later, if the two start making noticeable trouble.
Tim makes a Scooby-Doo joke. Everybody needed it.
They’ll definitely have to find new jobs too, they realize.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pair uncoil. Jon looks into Martin’s eyes.
NJ: How bad is it?
Martin tries his best to look placid, but the pain of the hunger is evident on his face.
NM: It’s… bad.
NJ: I’ll help you work through it. I know some tricks to take the edge off. And, maybe we can find some better ways now. Less self-punishing.
NM: Sounds manageable.
Jon smooths his partner’s hair back and brushes his cheek with a thumb.
NM:  How about you?
NJ: Better. So much better. I can’t believe I–
He swallows with difficulty.
NJ: Martin, I’m so sorry.
Martin nods.
NM: I am too.
Jon looks incredulous.
NJ: For what?
NM: For wasting time, I guess. We spent so long letting them make us miserable, and I didn’t even…I don’t feel like I was much better than you, in the end.
NJ: Well, they don’t get to tell us how to be miserable now.
Tumblr media
The wind rustles the grass as the clouds pass their shadows over the pair.
NM: What do we do now?
Jon curls his lip thoughtfully.
NJ: We should probably make ourselves scarce. The police might be sweeping for arson suspects. And… maybe we should let you get more used to the hunger before we go anywhere around people.
NM: Right.
They hesitate. Jon stares into the trees. Martin can’t help doing the same.
NM: There’s definitely one of them among the EMTs.
NJ: Yep.
She reeks of Spiral.
Section 31 is on its way, too.
The surviving archival staff should really get going if they want to make it out clean.
There are more. Others. Moving and agitating, attracted to the vacuum of power. Yet, they’re small. Vulnerable. Containable.
It would be easy.
Jon tears his eyes away and squeezes Martin’s hand.
NJ: You wanna go for a walk?
He gestures at the open field behind them with a thumb.
Martin brightens.
NM: Sure.
They get up and start walking through the brush, hand in hand.
NM: So, if a tomb is out… You think we could go for a house? Probably abandoned, but hopefully not too falling-apart.
NJ: That’d be nice. Maybe something in the country.
NM: ...Oh! And we still need to go let Gerry out of the book.
NJ: Oh, yeah. Definitely.

Moon 0: The Pigeon's Bloom
Tumblr media
“Hey! Wait up!” a voice called out, running through the cold snow. Their paws were already freezing, but the wisp continued to beckon them. He somehow managed to escape from his house by unlatching the window in order to follow it. Pigeon didn’t know how long they'd been traveling for, but his paws were starting to get tired. Still, the cyan wisp still managed to zip around.
Finally, it seemed to be slowing down, and just hovered in the middle of a snowy field. Pigeon collapsed into the snow from exhaustion, glancing up at the wisp. “Okay! I’m here now!” he panted, staggering back to his paws. “You got something to show me?”
The wisp remained unmoved.
Pigeon’s ears flattened in irritation. “C’mon. I didn’t escape my house just to see this.”
The wisp remained unmoved.
“Fine! I guess I’ll go back then,” he resolved, turning away. After only two steps, the wisp shone even brighter and created a gust of winds that made him turn around in surprise.
The wisp’s light seemed to expand more and more. Pigeon had to squint their eyes to avoid being blinded. At last, the light dissipated and what remained was a ghostly figure. The tom starred in surprise at the sudden change and appearance.
It was a cat. Their fur was long and silky, a gray pelt covered in darker stripes and speckles. It was looking down at him with bright, yellow eyes. Pigeon continued to stare, until the spirit opened its mouth…
“Hi!” it greeted with a toothy grin.
“...Okay…this is…weird,” the gray and white tom thought out loud.
The ghostly cat swooped down, until their noses were barely touching. “Yep!” she confirmed. “And it’s gonna be a lot weirder!”
“That’s not very reassuring,” Pigeon said. Then, the uncertainty wore off and he shook his head in disbelief. “Wait, who am I kidding? You’re an actual ghost! You’re a ghost that made me follow you in the middle of the snow!”
By now, the spirit was floating on her back, much like an otter, with paws tucked neatly to her chest, circling above. “Actually, I’d prefer the term “Starclan Ancestor,”” she corrected.
“Starwhat?” the tom questioned, tilting its head.
The speckled spirit sighed and flew down to his eye level. “Y’know, I just realized we haven’t made any introductions! I’m Valleyfang! I’ve actually been following you a lot, Pigeon.”
“How did you know my name!?” Pigeon asked bewildered.
“Becaaaause, you’ve been selected to rebuild…pause for effect…Myrtleclan!” she cheered, outstretching her paws.
“...........What?”
“Lemme ask you something real quick,” Valleyfang requested. “Do you know who your dad is?”
The tom blinked in confusion a few times. “No. As a matter of fact I do not. My mom told me he was the head of a colony.”
“Well, the “was” part was right…but, it’s not a colony. It’s a Clan.” the spirit said.
“Whatever it’s called, why does it involve me?” Pigeon asked.
Valleyfang has a smirk on her face. “Glad you asked that. Because you, buddy, are the last remaining ancestor of the clan. You’re dad ended up having a little fling with your mama, resulting in you. Buuut, Starclan didn’t take it too kindly. So, they unleashed a plague to punish Pansystar, your dad, for it. Unfortunately, they didn’t expect it to wipe out everyone in the Clan.”
“Wh-really?” the tabby tom huffed out. “Woah…that’s a lot to take in.”
“And, that’s why you’ve been summoned! Starclan feels really, and I mean reeeally bad about what they did. So, they decided to push back on their policy on outer clan relationships, and sent me to find ya! In hopes that you will restore Myrtleclan back to its former glo-where are you going?”
Valleyfang watched as Pigeon turned around and walked away. “Appreciate the lecture, Valleyteeth, or something! But, I’d like to get back to my old home. With my warm bed and fresh tuna,” he yelled back.
The gray ghost zipped up next to him to match his speed. “B-But, what about your legacy? You’re ancestors?”
“It’s nice to know I have ancestors,” he admitted, “But, I like being with my owners, and not in the middle of a snowy field with a ghost I just met.”
“Grrrrr” she grumbled. Valleyfang flew above him and gripped her claws on either side of his face, making the tom stop in their tracks. She leaned down to his face. “By Starclan’s will, I dub thee, Pigeonthroat! You are now a full Medic of Myrtleclan!”
Her nose crashed into his forehead. In an instant, all herbal knowledge and method of healing wounds and illnesses careened into his brain. His body felt simultaneously warm and cold at the same time and his head began throbbing with the outflow of information.
His mind slipped into blackness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pigeonthroat woke up with the worst headache ever. He groaned and placed both of his unsheathed claws against his temple. The tom knew he had to open his eyes, but didn’t want to. His eyes cracked open, expecting the brightness of the sun, but was met with a small, darkened cave, surrounded by dried herbs. His front paws lifted his body up, but one of them seemed to nudge something. He glanced down and raised the paw that grazed it.
His surprise went down when Pigeonthroat realized it wasn’t anything to worry over. But, it was still interesting nonetheless.
A small branch of myrtle flowers. The branch was covered in buds, with a few leaves, and blooming flowers. The new Medic looked up out of the den to the growing sunrise.
“Guess I’m really doing this,” he resolved.
Myrtleclan is reborn
A Hero is Born
Part 1
Part 3
———————————————————————————
Tang sighed, arriving at the Noodle Shop with a tired look on his face as he facepalmed into the counter.
Pigsy: Bad day?
Tang: No…they loved the story, it’s just that after, some teachers begun saying ‘Oh why does he care it’s not like it’s useful in the future…’
Tang: I swear…people in this society sound like my parents…
Pigsy: Hear ya go.
Tang: Thanks.
Tang: Waaaait…what’s the catch here?
Pigsy: Just take the noodles you damn freeloader!
Tang shrugged and took his noodles, Mei then dropped by and looked around the shop, confused.
Mei: Heyo!
Tang: Hey Mei.
Mei: Where’s Bai He? She’s not here yet?
Pigsy: She left for the construction site hours ago, she won’t be long.
Tang: Isn’t it getting a little late though?
Mei: Aw shucks! I came here to congratulate her!
Pigsy: Congratulate her? For what?
Mei: For instantly trending online! Look!
Mei showed her phone, on screen was a replay of Bai He’s stream, her getting in trouble with the Demon Bull Family.
Tang:…
Tang: Is that the Demon Bull King?
Pigsy: Heh…how ironic, you were just telling her that today! Must’ve payed those actors a huge ton of money!
Pigsy: And the special effects too, whew, how much money is her streams making?
Tang:…
Pigsy: What’s wrong Tang?
Tang: Mei do you have a tracker on Bai He?
Mei: Hey! How’d you find out I put trackers on everyone?
Tang: Bai He told me, remember that one time I got lost in the other side of the city?
Mei: Right…hmm…
She looked at her phone and checked the coordinates.
Tang: That’s far from the construction site…but close…
Pigsy: Tang is something wrong?
Tang: Bai He doesn’t like the Monkey King stories, there’s no way she would film something she didn’t like just for the sake of views! Get herself in danger? Sure, but if she’s not having fun, she’d rather draft the idea and leave it in the trash!
Tang: Something’s wrong and I’m gonna find out what.
Pigsy: You want me to call backup?
Tang: Are you sure? We haven’t seen him since he went to therapy.
Pigsy: Well it’s either we go there blind or we bring the big dude
Tang:…I’m not taking any chances, call him.
Meanwhile Bai He is panicking in the depths of the Demon Bull King’s lair…she is, currently trying to put a streaming set up so that the whole lair can be filmed.
She flinched as the sounds of fire and metal combine along the lair, as Red Son finishes off his father’s armor.
Red Son: And…that should about do it…
Demon Bull King: It’s…heavy…
Tumblr media
Red Son: Ehm…th-that’s because it’s not powered up…yet…
Red Son: The suit absorbs energy to create energy, and what better source than the magic staff that kept you underground!
Princess Iron Fan: We should leave that until we have enough power, my love…
Princess Iron Fan: How’s the setup gamer girl?
Bai He flinched as she finished setting up the camera.
Bai He: Uhm…just about it…so what do you want to do? Like some sort of announcement? Tour? Do I have to interview you or…?
Red Son: We’ll take it from here…
Red Son shoved her out of the way in the arms of a Bull Clone, restrained against her will. After that Red Son opened Twixtch, and started recording.
Meanwhile, Pigsy, Tang, Mei were waiting for Sandy while looking for Bai He.
Mei: Look! Bai He’s live again!
Tang and Pigsy rushed beside Mei, seeing the live recording being played.
Red Son: Citizens! Tis I, Red Son, allow me to introduce my family to the rest of the world!
Tang: Yep…that’s definitely real…
Pigsy: How can you tell?
Red Son: As you may know us from legends of old, Well I’m here to tell you, that we are as real as the screen may tell you!
Red Son: For centuries the Monkey King has long trapped my father underneath a mountain, stopping him from dominating this pathetic world! And now, his time has come to rise again!
Red Son looked at his father with grace, with each stomp, the camera shook, his presence mortifying and dominant.
Pigsy:…I see now…
Demon Bull King: This message is for you…Sun Wukong…
Demon Bull King: Refrain from intervening…lest I show you no mercy…
Demon Bull King: Starting with her…
Bai He gulped as the Demon Bull King stared at her, eyes terrified for her life, the Demon Bull King knew it was impossible to kill the Monkey King, might as well threaten a few innocent lives just for him to know his place…
After all he did care about the mortal realm, more than anything…
Princess Iron Fan: Turn it off…we’re done here…
The live ended.
Tang: Oh come on! Where is he?!
Pigsy: Tang calm down, unless the Monkey King doesn’t show up-
Tang: Of course he’s gonna show up Pigsy! The guy’s a hero sure, but he’s reckless than a moth drawn to a light bulb! What if Bai He gets beaten to a pulp before he arrives?!
Sandy: Uhm…am I interrupting something?
Sandy shows up, holding a drill in his hand eyes glowing intimidately. Pigsy looks at him nervously…
Pigsy: Guys…meet, Sandy…
Sandy: The call I got was a lot to take in…
Sandy: You know what I do to guys that disrupt the peace?
Mei, Tang and Pigsy, shook a little
Tang: Uhm…Pigsy…was Sandy always…this scary?
Sandy approached them, slowly mimicking the Demon Bull King’s mannerisms.
Sandy: I help them out of course!
Pigsy: Wh…What?
Sandy: Heya Tangy! You lookin pretty sweaty there, need some tea to calm down?
Tang: Oh! Uhm, don’t mind if I do, Sandy…
Tang: Mei…this is uhm…Sandy…the backup we talked about…
Mei: Backup? He looks like the only thing he could kill is your nerves!
Sandy: It’s my own blend of anti-stress fruits! It really brings the heart-rate down!
Pigsy growled in frustration.
Pigsy: Sandy! What happened to you?!
Pigsy: Where’s the angry, glass-joint, fist-throwing buddy I used to know?!
Sandy: Oh well…my therapist said I really needed to calm down. That’s why I started drinking tea, doing yoga, investing in therapy cats really helps…
Tang: Yeah well…we’ll need you help a little guy…mind drilling down here? My daughter is uhm…trapped in there.
Sandy: Sure! Anything for a friend…but I’m telling you bud, if things get hairy, I’ve changed, I don’t go around pickin’ fights no more…
Pigsy groaned in frustration…but was slightly understanding of Sandy’s predicament
Bai He panicked internally as the Demon Bull King scrolled through ‘rare items’ and soon left to leave the staff for last while Red Son prepare the army for total world domination.
Also to guard the staff.
She uttered her last words in her brain, incredibly terrified.
Red Son: *Sigh* It’s really unfortunate for you Gamer Girl, always liked your streams…
Red Son: Pity I’ll have to kill you if the Monkey King shows up…
Bai He: Maybe don’t? I mean, he hasn’t been active in a while and uhm…it’s not like he’s coming for us now…right…?
Red Son thought about it, and did consider it strange
Red Son: Yes…odd…we sent that message a moment ago…now that Father is wreaking chaos he should be here by now…
Red Son: There were no announcements that he was retired…
Red Son: Did he get full of himself during those 500 years?
Bai He: Wait…you don’t know how he disappeared?
Red Son: Of course I don’t know! What? You think we would go up to the domain of the Monkey King, drop by and say ‘Mind if you let my father out of his mountain for a second?!’
Bai He: But his place is surrounded by the Flaming Mountains, don’t you and Princess Iron Fan live there?
Red Son: We used to, we moved some place else, after all if the Monkey King had the guts to seal my father under a mountain, he’d certainly have the guts to go back for my family just to be sure.
Red Son: Wait a minute, why do you know that?!
Bai He’s face expressed a nervous reaction yet remained having a smile.
Bai He: My…father…he uhm…he’s a history teacher…
She explained, peeking Red Son’s interest.
Tang, Pigsy, Sandy and Mei screamed as a swarm of Bull Clones headed towards them, Sandy broke the floor creating a wall to protect them, apologizing straight after.
Tang: Traps? Bull Clones! Ohhh this is a nightmare! We’re never gonna make it in time!
Pigsy: Would you get a hold of yourself?! They ain’t gonna kill her yet…
Pigsy: Whoever this monkey King is he’s obviously very clever not to intervene when there’s a hostage involved!
Tang: CLEVER?! CLEVER?! Have you even heard the legends?! Half the time the Monkey King had to SAVE HIS MASTER WHO WAS ABOUT TO BE EATEN!
Mei: Alright you two, less talk we gotta navigate this place more!
Meanwhile both Bai He and Red Son are sitting together.
Red Son: And she said I couldn’t do it! That I couldn’t bend the staff to my will, but I did! Ha! Take that mother!
Bai He: Not gonna lie, your mother sounds like a jerk to you…
Red Son: No, she isn’t! She’s just been hurt because father has been trapped for so long…
Bai He: That doesn’t justify being a jerk…
Red Son:…Yeah…I do wish she’d take it easy a bit…y’know…I mean, I can be strong in different ways!
Bai He: Yeah you can! I mean you built a gauntlet that can hold the Monkey King’s staff! That’s not an easy feat!
Red Son: I know right! It’s impressive!
Bai He: And this super base with all the bull clones was your idea!
Red Son: Yeah…yeah! You get it! I mean just look at this place! Everywhere has been touched by the genius of modern technology!
Red Son: I even made that impressive suit he’s wearing!
Bai He: You should really have some credit for yourself…it’s sad to see some of that potential wasted…
A loud bang was heard throughout the room.
Tang: Bai He!
Bai He: Mom!
Red Son: Wait…wait hold on…
Bai He: Hm?
Red Son: Your…mom?
Bai He: Oh yeah, I call my father my mom, cause he kinda acts like a mom than a dad…?
Red Son: Oh…oh okay…
Red Son: Ahem! Listen here you peasants! What do you think you’re doing, trespassing into the lair of the Demon Bull King?!
He looked at them, brows furrowed.
Mei: We’re here to rescue my friend, dingus!
Red Son: You? Ha! A couple of civilians playing hero? Well, let me show you what happens to HEROES!
Red Son summons the gauntlet and grabs Sun Wukong’s staff.
The staff sort of moves on its own creating destruction everywhere.
Pigsy: Ok…we are in a bit of a…disadvantage…
Tang: What are we gonna do?! It’s Monkey King’s staff, that thing’s not gonna budge on its own!
Tang: That thing probably weighs the size of a huge building!
They hide behind some crates before Red Son destroys it.
Bai He: Hey, dude…mind not completely obliterating my family?
Red Son: Oh…uhm…well…
Red Son: Bull Clones! Get them!
The army of Bull Clones all ambush the main crew as they separate running from the clones.
Red Son:…
Red Son: What do I do with this…?
He asks himself, then looks at Mei who’s completely demolishing the Bull Clones with her dragon form.
Red Son: Ok gamer girl, I kinda like you, not in a weird way, but can I at least knock her out?
Bai He:…
Bai He: Hold on I’m thinking…
Bai He:…
Bai He: Yeah why not?
Immediately Red Son uses the staff to try and knock Mei unconscious.
As he does the battle begins to ensue with Mei vs Red Son, causing a huge turn of events that leaves the crew and the Bull Clones baffled.
Tang: Come on Bai He, let’s go!
Bai He: What about Mei?
Pigsy: She’s handling herself just fine!
A huge crash was heard around the room, causing Red Son to drop the staff.
Bai He: I can’t leave her there!
Bai He rushes towards Mei’s aid…
Tang: Bai He!
The Bull Clones notice and begin to scatter on her.
Upon adrenaline she dodges the clones, despite her lack of experience.
Lifting the staff and swatting it at Red Son…
Red Son: No way! How could you possibly lift Monkey King’s staff?!
Flowey: You don't care about your own kid! Toriel did! I did! If anyone is listening right now, that should make sense. I bet a blind person could make the most rational decision here if that means they can't tell who's human or monster.
You're calling them dumb them nonstop, saying and acting like you don't even care, degrading monsterkind which had the only people who actually showed them love. What kind of a living being are you? Is everyone insane here?! I showed you proof and yet you still think we were bad to them! Why would they trust us so much when they ran away from you, their "family," to kill themselves, only to fail and kill themselves again for our sake!
*He's providing so much good reasoning, but this woman remains full of so much hate and ignorance. What's the point in trying to be nice if this is what he'll get? Almost no one else is even trying to speak up (Thanks, John) which gives thim the impression either no one cares and they're all with Chara's mom, or they're too scared to say anything. Either way, that means there's no reason for him to not lash out.*
What the fuck did you do to Chara?!
*Vines suddenly grab and whip the crazy mother, and even worse than the way the police beat Toriel, Flowey begins to snap bones and slash deep cuts without a moment of rest. He wraps a vine around her head, adding increasing pressure until it would explode like a watermelon. The whole time he forms a tall, thorny circle around them that would push away anyone who got close, preventing anyone from interfering and shielding the eyes of children and cameras. Once she is killed, he drags the body under the dirt and lets down the makeshift barrier. He looks angry and slightly teary-eyed. He mutters to himself.* ... I bet Chara felt way more pain than that.
All the others flee far, knowing what they're up against. (Kara) "Wow, that was fantastic." Papyrus had his mouth wide open. (Dess) "Why didn't you tell me about his power? Yeah, I know they stopped Clover, but an entire field of people. Speaking of fields, I should tell you something important. The Flowey in this world isn't Asriel. I don't know who it is. No one besides Frisk does." (Kara) "Well, let's meet this Flowey. John, you're coming too." (John) "Well, I guess the humans would kill me in an instant. I'll go." We all started 'walking'(Flowey just digs) to their home. (Kara) "Hey, speaking of which, what did make you want to be a good person.' (John) "I was one of Chara's classmates and… There was a brief pause as John looked to Flowey I'm not going to say what happened unless Flowey wants to know. Long story short, it made some of us very angry. Thank god she's dead now." Flowey popped out of the ground (Flowey) "Hi everyone." (Kara) "Um, hi. Why do you…" (Dess) "KARA GET DOWN!!!" A barrage of bullets comes Kara's way, which they dodge. (Flowey) "What's wrong? You must've learned already. I see you have a little flower friend yourself. Hi Buttercup, you have a fire inside you. I'm glad at least that never changed. So cat's out of the bag, I'm not just Flowey." (Kara) "Well, what's your name?" (Flowey) "I've been called many things in my day, a demon to some, a savior to others, but to you, buttercup Shows heart locket I'm your best friend forever!!!" (Kara) "Chara." (Chara Flowey) "Yep, that's me." (Kara) "This is great. I can bring you to the humans. I'll have…" (Chara Flowey) "You think they would care? You and I both saw what happened back there. Plus, it's funny." (Dess) "FUNNY?!" (Chara Flowey) "You don't realize how hilarious this is? People are as blind as a bat. I can't believe it sometimes. Humanity always surprises me." (Kara) "I know, but it's worth trying to see if humans agree." (Chara Flowey) "Started laughing in everyone's faces. You're being serious? Your pain is the most fun I've had in a while. Why would I give it up?" (Kara) "You are one of the worst Floweys I've ever met." (Chara Flowey) "I want to watch the world burn. =)."
"What is he like?" The words come from Noah's mouth without too much thinking.
It's almost time for the sun to rise while they lay together on the messy bed, nothing to cover their naked bodies as they feel the cool breeze coming from the opened window. They talked all night long about the most random things like their favorite foods and funny tour stories but Noah couldn't stop thinking about the fact that someone broke Nori's heart to the point that she totally closed herself. He didn't want to touch on such a sensitive subject but curiosity is almost killing him. Nori seems to be so strong and hard to knock out that Noah finds it curious that someone could make her feel so weak.
"Who?" She asks, brushing her feet on his calf as they face each other.
"The guy you told me about".
"Well… He's tall, but doesn't have as many tattoos as you. His hair is light blonde shoulder length, blue eyes…".
"Is he a singer?".
"Yep".
"So you're into singers, huh?".
"Shut up!" she punches him in the chest.
Noah giggles at her reaction, it seems that she isn't bothered to talk about the Finnish blonde singer with blue eyes. She is trusting him enough to tell him about her feelings.
"You are very different from each other. He's like a vampire, there's always darkness surrounding him. And you are like the sun… You bring light" she says.
"Do I?".
"Uhum" she approaches him.
The feeling of Nori's lips slowly touching his own makes Noah sigh. He never wanted anyone so bad in his life and now he finally can have it, taste her tongue swirling around his mouth while he grabs her by her waist trying to get her closer. Looking deep into her eyes he feels lucky to have her, even though he doesn't have any hope that this will happen again.
Nori feels different watching Noah. Now that she knows what he is capable of doing, she wants to do it again. Seeing him on stage, singing with his heart and soul makes her sigh, the scenes from the last night repeating in her mind. The fact that she slept in the same room as Noah didn't raise any speculation on the bands and crew. Her bandmates actually would not believe it if she said she had sex with him the whole night. They know what she had been through with the guy she fell in love with and how this changed her personality when it comes to relationships - even the most casual ones.
The band starts to play Nowhere To Go and Noah knows that it's Nori's favorite. He tries to watch her and focus on the audience at the same time but she caughts his attention every damn time that she is there, swaying her hips in such a very sexy way just like when she was riding him - a memory that brings a large smile on his face and he can't hold it. She knows that he wants to stop everything so he can sit and watch her dance for him and that's why she makes sure to show her dance skills, the sexual tension between them growing in a level that it's almost driving them insane.
For the first time ever, Noah can't wait for the concert to end so he can run towards Nori and take her somewhere where he can fuck her senseless. The band just played the last song and they are thanking the crowd, Noah trying to keep an eye on Nori while she walks backstage.
The last thing that Noah would want to do is to disappoint his fans, so he spends some time throwing guitar picks to the crowd and saying goodbye. When he gets the chance, he goes straight backstage, urging to find Nori like a hunter after its prey. He walks fast towards a small and dark corridor that leads to the exit, probably a place that only the employees from the venue tend to go. He sees Nori standing there near the exit door, her back against the wall as he plays with some locks of her hair. She smirks when she sees him, lust in his eyes as he walks slowly this time.
"You found me" she says.
Nori opens the door of a small room that seems to be a deposit. There's no light but they can see some stuff like paper boxes, cleaning products and a table with some small boxes on. She quickly pulls Noah inside, kissing him while she tries to unbutton his pants. Her despair makes Noah laugh, he feels proud to see what he has done with the Finnish singer.
"Take this shit off" she grunts.
"You're too desperate, angel. I'm the one who should be acting this way, you were teasing me a few minutes ago, shaking this delicious ass of yours" he grabs her buttcheeks and leaves a loud smack, making her giggle.
Noah quickly grabs Nori and puts her on the table, spreading her thighs so he can fit between them. She pulls his shirt off so she can touch his fully tattooed abs, feeling his skin wet with sweat, some drops falling slowly towards his crotch. Her hand goes straight to his bulge and inside of his underwear, feeling his cock throbbing on her hand as she caresses it, her eyes catching all of his reactions, his mouth opening while the moans start to come out.
"You like to feel me touching your cock, don't you?" She asks, teasing him hard.
"It's better when it's inside of you".
Noah's large and strong hands pull her by the hips, making her sit near to the end of the table. The fact that Nori is wearing a skirt makes everything easier and soon he is pulling her panty down, freeing her arousal so he can have full access to her. His fingers enter her core in a hook, a smile on Nori's face while he fucks her with his fingers just the the way she likes it, but she is not in the mood for foreplay.
"I don't want your fingers, I want your cock deep inside of me. Now" she sounds demanding, which makes Noah laugh.
He penetrates her roughly, making her feel a little pain at first but soon she gets used to him shoving all his length inside of her core in slow but deep thrusts. She tries to open her legs more and all those years of yoga are helping her now, her hands pulling him closer by the hips as he quickens the pace.
"Fuck, Noah… I want faster!" she grunts.
"Such a needy slut you are…".
He does what she demands of him and soon Nori starts to feel her body trembling as the orgasm get closer, one of her hands grabbing the wood of the table while the other one is on Noah's nape, his forehead touching hers as she can feel him breathing against her face. He feels different from last night, definitely rougher while he thrusts inside of her. She knows how it feels to sing in front of a big audience, there's too much adrenaline going on inside of them both and he is getting if off by fucking her real rough and good. Nori definitely likes it, she loves to feel him being so tough on her. The footsteps from outside makes everything more exciting.
"I think there's someone outside" he says.
"I don't give a fuck. I'm so fucking close".
Noah's fingers start to play with her clit, making the apex closer at each second. She needs to fight against herself to hold her scream when she gets there, a delicious orgasm taking her completely as she grabs the table so tight that her knuckles turn white.
"Fuck… Holy shit!" She whimpers desperately near Noah's ear.
"Yeah Angel, cum for me. Cum all over my cock".
The feeling of making Nori feel so much pleasure makes Noah even more turned on. A few more thrusts and he cums inside of her, letting out some moans of pleasure as he tries to catch his breath.
"It feels so good, baby" she whispers, taking a few locks of hair from his sweaty forehead and leaving delicate kisses on his neck.
"It does, my angel… you've been so good to me".
Nori tries to find something to clean herself up when Noah finds a package of napkins.
"Let me help you" he says, cleaning her slowly.
They laugh at each other when they realize how risky their acts have been. Anyone could have heard them having sex in a dark deposit or even opening the door and catching them in the act, but they didn't care at all. They needed to feel each other again, it was worth the risk.
"You leave first. I will be in the greenroom in a few minutes" Nori says, still sitting on the table.
"Okay. See you later" he smirks.
Noah leaves a soft kiss on Nori's lips before he carefully opens the door, trying not to make any noise. Luckly, there's no one outside to catch him leaving the deposit, which makes him sigh in relief. There's a large smile on his face as he walks towards the greenroom, where he finds his bandmates relaxing after the show.
"Dude? What the hell have you been?" Folio says.
"Just hanging around" Noah tries to look chill.
"You seem happy. What happened?" Nicholas says.
"It was a great show, the crowd was amazing".
Of course everyone finds it weird the fact that Noah can't stop smiling and is full of energy like he has been electrocuted or something. He tries to act normally but he is pacing while he grabs a bottle of water. He drinks the whole bottle like he was lost in a desert for a year.
"You have never been this happier on this tour" Nicholas says.
Noah and Nicholas have been best friends since forever so they both know each other very well. It's better for Noah and Nori to hide their relationship a little bit more if they don't want anyone to find out.
Nori's phone keeps buzzing all night; the text messages don't stop coming. Her roommate, Auri, wonders what's going on with her friend. The singer can't stop smiling while her face is glued on the phone's screen, giggling every 2 minutes while Auri tries to sleep.
"Aren't you going to sleep? It's almost 2 a.m." the bass player complains.
"I will" Nori doesn't pay too much attention to her friend.
Noah and her are chatting for a few hours non-stop. Nori loves how funny he is and how he can make her laugh with the silliest jokes.
"Who is it?" Auri asks.
"Nobody".
"Then why are you smiling like a fool bitch?".
Nori is feeling a huge desire to share with someone what's going on between her and Noah, but she doesn't know if it's a good idea. At the same time, Auri seems the perfect person to share her secret with: she won't judge her, won't tell anyone and won't make a fuss about it.
"Do you promise you will keep the secret?" the singer asks, sitting on the bed.
"Yes" Auri rolls her eyes, still buried on her blanket.
"I'm talking with Noah. The night I slept in his room… well, I didn't sleep at all".
"You fucked?".
"A lot. And we had sex inside a random deposit at the venue tonight".
"Wow…".
There's not much emotion in Auri's reaction, which makes Nori relieved. She wants to deal with this naturally and not make a big deal about it. If she had told Lara or the drummer Maila they would freak out.
"I'm really surprised. Of course everyone noticed that Noah is very into you but I would never expect that you would reciprocate".
"Me either. I don't know how to explain what happened to me".
"I just want you to be careful, okay?".
Of course Auri is talking about what happened between Nori and one of the singers from Blind Channel, Joel Hokka. She knows how her friend got hurted in what was supposed to be "just for fun" sex and nothing else.
"I know and I thank you for caring about me. But this time is different. Noah is different. What I feel for him is a huge affection, I like him as a friend, a real good friend and we are very physically attracted to each other. Have you seen him smiling? Damn! And he is so hot, his body is perfect. I just know I can trust him and that's why I like him" Nori says.
"But what about him? How does he feel about you? Are you sure that he is not feeling something else for you?".
This is enough to invade Nori's thoughts and make her lose her peace of mind. What if, this time, she is doing what Joel did to her? It would kill her slowly if she hurt Noah's feelings, she doesn't wish for anyone to suffer like she did, especially such a good person like Noah.
Meanwhile, Noah is sharing the room with his best friend Nicholas. They were supposed to be watching some anime but Noah it's focused on his phone and the conversation with Nori.
"Are you talking with her?" Nicholas asks, not taking his eyes from the tv screen.
"Her?" Noah pretends to not know what his friend is talking about.
"Nori".
"No…".
"You're such a bad liar to me".
He knows that Nori asked him to not tell anyone about their thing, but Nicholas is his best friend and he trusts him more than anyone; he would put his hand on fire for him.
"Yes, it's her. But, please, don't tell anyone" Noah says.
"So… what's happening between you two?".
"You know…" Noah laughs a little bit shy "That night when she slept in my room…"
"Oh!" Nicholas interrupts him "I got it".
"Yeah… it was really good, man".
"I kinda knew it but I wasn't sure. Tonight when you disappeared after the show I knew that you were doing something naughty".
"It was that obvious?".
"Definitely. I just wasn't sure that it was with her. But it makes sense now… the way she was looking at you during our set… dude!" They laugh like teenage boys talking about their hot teacher or something like that.
"She is amazing… so beautiful!".
"Are you falling in love with her?".
"No, not really. I mean… Maybe if the circumstances were different I would easily fall in love with her. But we live on different sides of the planet, it would be really bad if we take this to another level".
"And what about her?".
"I don't know… she told me about a guy from a finnish band that she fell in love with while they were on tour and she got really hurted. I don't know if her heart is open for me this way".
"Good. You don't want to be another jerk that will hurt her feelings, right?".
"Sure! She doesn't deserve that".
"Just be sure that you both are not playing with fire".
Nicholas is right. Noah needs to be careful when it comes to Nori's feelings. He knows what he feels for her: an extreme animal attraction mixed with a lot of affinity. He feels the need to take care of her like he does when it comes to his most special friends and he knows he can trust her. There's only good feelings inside of him when it comes to Nori, but there's nothing strong enough that he could define as love. He just hopes that she feels the same way.
OC Questionnaire Tag (2)!
Thanks for the tag @willtheweaver (here)!
Your questions are:
What are your biggest pet peeves?
Who is the person you look up to the most?
Do you have any major fears?
I'll go with twins Cyriel and Dimya Staryn from Song of Thorns, and Augustus Grimmure and Sam Delaways from Enchanted Illusions for this one!
1. What is your favorite way of relaxing after a hard day’s work?
(Song of Thorns)
Cyriel - "Probably a good cup of warm wine and a delicious roast in a tavern after a long journey down the Reaper's Way - and yeah you heard that route. It's the only road that still connects human territory and fey lands, and cuts through a very much cursed forest. My job is not fun."
Dimya - "I dunno. Eating a pastry or some kind a dessert while chilling by the fireplace before taking a nap sounds about right. I don't really have a specific routine that I follow, but man I'd like to get some more sleep if I could."
(Enchanted Illusions)
Augustus - "Oh, that's an interesting question, my good fellow! Personally, reading a necromancy tome on a train ride is my ideal go-to, but a hot bath with a lot of bubbles also does the trick! Practicing my magic or doing something fun is also a good idea."
Sam - "Relaxing, haha. That's a good joke right there. You were serious? When I'm not working in the factories I'm taking care of my kid brothers and trying to not get robbed in an alley! I'm lucky if I get more than three solid hours of sleep a night on a regular week. Strystead ain't a place that just lets ya 'relax', y'know?"
2. Did you do anything that you regret now?
(Song of Thorns)
Cyriel - "Eh, not really. I'm a mercenary and a land pirate, my job isn't exactly for people who care about that kind of stuff. One thing that I do regret, however, is trusting people who don't deserve my loyalty. That much I will admit - my blind trust screwed us up big time."
Dimya - "Yes. I've screwed up more times than I can count, but I'd say that one thing I did that I really regret is not doing anything when I found out my boss was capturing and selling living vampires to 'high value' clients - I was just too scared of what that guy would do to me and my sister if he found out I knew the truth. But my silence doomed those innocent vampires to a fate probably worse than death. I hope we can still stop our former boss's schemes and free these people. I still haven't told my sister though, I probably should."
(Enchanted Illusions)
Augustus - "Making a deal with an immortal fey demon of death sounded like a great idea five years ago and... it was not. I admit that now. I'm racing against time because I don't really fancy having my soul trapped somewhere for all eternity. No thanks! That idea was quite honestly the worst possible idea I could've had."
Sam - "Oh, I definitely regret moving to Strystead. We shoulda stayed in Ansburke and figured things out from there, but at the time I desperately needed a job, and going to Strystead seemed like a good option because of the factories and all. Instead, I've gotten us stuck in this hellish city and with a growing pile of debt."
3. If someone put you in a position of power, would you be able to trust yourself to make good decisions?
(Song of Thorns)
Cyriel - "Yep. I think. I do pretty well when it comes to making decisions quickly and I also have a tendency to gravitate towards leadership roles, so as long as I don't screw up really bad I'd probably do well."
Dimya - "Hells nah (chuckles). I don't even trust myself most times, imagine me leading a team or something. It would be too chaotic, haha. Leave leadership roles to my sister - she's the idealist, not me, I'm fine as I am."
(Enchanted Illusions)
Augustus - "Yes, that's basically what I do, my friend. Making plans in high-tension situations and managing a team is easy compared to learning the art of necromancy."
Sam - "I dunno. I'm pretty confident in my abilities and am good at improvising when I need to, but I don't know how I'd be able to handle it long-term. I prefer to be unseen, behind the scenes, y'know. Easier to not get in trouble when you go unnoticed."
Heya. Hope you don't mind an expansion upon that Stalker idea you posted lately. ---
You come home tired, like every day, and close the door behind you. Tossing the keys on the table, you grab a glass of water and walk over to the sitting room, collapsing into the couch as you just need a bit of rest. You switch the TV on, slide out some leftover chocolate, and finish the few squares as the mid-episode ads roll. You take a look out the window, into the darkening evening. You don't see the shining pair of eyes fixed on your silhouette. How could you, afterall? They hide behind shaded binoculars, across the street and up a pitch-black floor. But those eyes most certainly see you - and wink, in satisfaction, as your hand begins to slide between your legs. Just like always.
All these damn ads on your TV, and you just watch to watch your new show, it's not like it's your fault that you need to pass the time somehow - nor is it your fault that, a minute later, you're breathless and humping your own hand, heedless of the fact the ad break has finished. All your dumb head wants now is pleasure, and needy whore that you are, you're making sure to give it to yourself.
A fleeting thought passes your mind. I left my dildo upstairs. And yet when you start to rise, you spot it placed under your coffee table, not at all where you remember it being. Oh well. You don't exactly care at the moment, fucking yourself on that thick piece, moaning quietly, scattered breaths yearning for someone to come and really fuck you - rape you, even, do it so hard you start to cry.
'Cause you can't push yourself that far. You rock back and forth, you bounce up and down, you rub away at your clit with one hand while the other fucks you full of plastic. Too bad you don't have any of that cum lube lef--
Except, there's a bottle of it. It's just at the edge of your vision, standing on a stool.
You definitely don't remember putting it there. Because yesterday, you ran out of it.
Almost falling over in your haste to fill yourself up, you snatch it off the stool and grab the pump next to it, hastily topping up your toy and putting it together properly this time. It's not even properly mounted yet, and you're already riding that fake cock, each bounce squeezing out a trickle of lube, seeing as you've overfilled it again. Both hands fighting to mash your clit, you sit down, hard, and squirt everywhere. The orgasm washes over you like a wave, knocking your thoughts clean out for a solid minute, as you sit there, pussy full of dick and mouth out. Muttering, moaning, mouthing words of thanks.
Your watcher sees it all. There are hands on a stiff cock, in that room across the road, hands which want ever so badly to grip your skin. To leave long scratches down your back, and marks around your neck. Unlike you, your watcher stops. Today seems like as good a day as any. Might even ask. That would be nice - if you said, "yes".
You push yourself off the dildo, clenching to not spill anything, and only now, finally, does it hit you. Somebody's been in your house. Somebody put your dildo exactly where you wanted it. Somebody bought you new lube, exactly the brand you always get. Hands growing numb, you walk over to the kitchen.
Somebody left you food. It's thick and meaty and still warm. You tell yourself that food can stay warm for hours after cooking. It's not a terribly comforting thought.
You look outside, furtively scanning the road. But of course, nobody is there. Nobody is ever there. Even then, you swipe your blinds closed, blocking any would-be watcher from seeing any more. Too bad you don't know it's too late.
You eat.
What else were you to do, leave perfectly good food to go to waste? Your money hasn't vanished, and a free meal is a free meal! Except... the food is exactly how you like it.
Exactly. How. You. Like. It.
You check the cooler. Yep, it's your favourite kind of booze. The kind your grandma used to bring over from wherever she used to travel. It's even got her name on it. You haven't seen her in six months.
But you're full. And now - as you pull out the cork - you're about to get drunk and try to forget all this.
You're about 4 glasses in, perfectly tipsy, when a knock on the door makes you scream. Breathe. It could just be the mailman... right? Even still, you snatch up a rolling pin and heft it dangerously, slowly approaching the door and-- It's just your neighbour, the guy who's always in his garden, holding a packet of something.
"How did you like your presents?"
The rolling pin crashes to the floor, yet you barely hear it. The world seems to rock, the air to twist, as he lets himself into your house, swiping the hat off his head and looking nervously about for where to put it. You couldn't care less, taking a half-step back as he nods and tosses it on a chair. It's him? You can't seem to grasp a coherent thought, and it's a few seconds before you realise he's spoken again.
"I mean, of course, I saw you the whole time, so I know you liked them but... I'd like to hear from you, you know?"
You can't breathe. Your heart feels like it's stopped, and you can't force air into your lungs. You've never been so utterly terrified - this nervous, small man is your stalker? How much does he know? Does he know everything?
"Ah well, I know you liked it. But... ah, I do want to ask..."
The corners of the room are beginning to grow dim, dark spots dancing across your vision, as your legs give way and you fall to your knees. The shock starts up those lungs of yours, and you take a single, loud breath. You stare at this monster, trying to muster up any kind of sound. Other than a low whimper of fear.
"Can I... fuck you? Please? I've wanted to do it for ages now, you know? You're such a slut. I mean, I see you fucking yourself every day, and every day you're begging for someone else to do it for you, no?"
Ice trickles down your spine. You're already on your knees; you're already tipsy, growing more inebriated by the second as that fourth glass starts to hit, and you are just so, so scared. He nods in satisfaction, relief even, and you wonder why - for a moment.
Oh. Oh God. You just said yes.
