Helloooo! This is my entry for the matchup event! <3

- I'm fine with it being both sfw and nsfw

- I'm currently a student at university and I'm studying japanese because I've been obsessed with japan ever since I was a child thanks to all the videogames I played and anime I watched

- My hair is very long (it reaches my butt), wavy and brown. My eyes are also brown. I'm around the same height as chuuya, perhaps just a little taller, and my weight is the same as atsushi's

- I'm a very introverted person, I don't like socializing that much and I have a very limited social battery that dies immediately when I spend time with people I don't consider friends (so crowded places like parties, clubs, concerts are a big no no for me). But when I'm with my few close friends I open up a lot more and I'd do anything for them. Online I'm usually more friendly and chatty, while irl I'm more distant and quiet, basically I like observing people and listening to conversations without actively participating in them. I tend not to voice my thoughts or opinions out loud (because of anxiety), and I tend to overthink a bit too much. I'm also a huge daydreamer, I can go entire days simply sitting there in silence thinking of the most random things and scenarios. People usually describe me as kind and patient and I've been told that my eyes look mysterious so it's hard to understand what I'm thinking about (which is cool tbh). When I move I'm also very quiet because I'm always deep in thought and I walk very silently, my family calls me a ghost because I never make any kind of noise and they can never hear me coming lol

- I tried taking the enneagram test many times before but I kept getting different results (either 4 or 5 or 6) so idk what my type is. However I do know that my mbti is infj and that I perfectly fit that description

- I love videogames, especially pokémon and other nintendo things. My room is literally full of retro videogames and pokémon merch, I'm a big nerd. I've always been interested in foreign languages and cultures so I love learning new things from other countries (I can fluently speak 4 languages) and lately, thanks to bsd, I picked up a new hobby which is reading literature classics and I'm loving it a lot so far! I don't really do it much anymore but I also love drawing and doodling things, mainly on my desk at school lol. Ofc anime and manga in general are also part of my hobbies. Also idk if it counts but since I like observing people I tend to understand how they behave and their quirks and then I like to try and put myself in their shoes to understand what they might be thinking about in certain situations (very psychological stuff oof)

- I love nature, plants and observing bugs, all kinds of animals (especially cats), dresses, cottagecore and vintage stuff, plushies, and the colour pink! I particularly enjoy sitting at home in silence by myself, drinking tea, either playing videogames, browsing social media, reading fanfics or daydreaming. I dislike smoke and alcohol, crowded places, noisy people, people who don't respect boundaries and people who don't like animals (I kinda dislike people in general djsjdj except for my friends ofc)

- You can match me up with anyone, it's ok for me

- Despite disliking people and hating being touched I am very touch starved, but I'm also incredibly ticklish so it does not help at all lmao. Also if I like someone I'll be very loyal to them, but once my trust gets broken they cannot get it back

𝘆𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗻

you met when his skateboard hit a bump in the sidewalk and he fell right in front of you

you happened to have some bandages in your backpack and helped get him patched up

as a thank you (and to make you forget about how embarrassing that was for him) he invited you to the dining hall for lunch

you two bonded over a lot of shared interests and you found out you lived in the same dorm building!!

yeonjun is always trying to get you to come skateboard around campus after dark with him

“there’s no people walking around! it’s perfect! just come skate with me :(“

you go with him only to make sure he doesn’t trip over the sidewalk again in the dark

you spend a lot of late nights running around campus, eating snacks, going to little hangouts with his group of friends and just generally being menaces

he’s always making you two stop so you can take pictures of him in front of the weird statues on campus so he can post them on the gram

he’s always telling you about events on campus, being the little social butterfly he is

he drags you along to said events “so you can make more friends and take a break from studying for five seconds!!!!!!”

he’s always getting into something but he’s definitely brought you out of your shell and helped you truly enjoy your college years

and to think, it started because of a crack in the sidewalk

you met at the vending machines in the student union

he was trying to buy a soda but the machine gave him two?? what??

you were trying to buy a bag of chips at the vending machine right beside him and he just turned to you suddenly

“hey do you like sprite?? i got two… somehow”

he flashed those dimples and you couldn’t possibly say no

you two went your separate ways at that point, but the next day, you saw soobin again at the same vending machine!!

he didn’t notice you walking up beside him and jumped out of his skin when you spoke

“did the machine give you two this time?” you joked

when he realized it was you, he visibly relaxed and smiled

“no, but i can buy you one if you want?”

damn that was smooth, ok soobin, i see you i am Looking

after that, you became besties and study partners almost immediately, always meeting up in the library to work beside each other

he rambles on about the classes he’s taking and what interesting tidbits he learned that day

his rambling is very endearing but not conducive to studying quietly, so most of the time, you never get any work done :’)

you still love hanging out with soobin though, he’s just simply a nice person to be around

𝗯𝗲𝗼𝗺𝗴𝘆𝘂

you had a caffeine addiction and you had it bad

every day before your first class, you stopped by the campus starbucks to get yourself a drink

it got to the point where the baristas recognized your order and would have it ready for you as soon as they saw you walk in

you were grateful :’) but also embarrassed hahaha

sometimes the baristas drew fun little things on your cup, like stars and smiley faces and encouraging messages

one of the baristas in particular liked to doodle on your cup

his name was beomgyu :) and he was very cute and very nice

you may or may not have had a teensy weensy crush on him

it was hard not to, with the way he joked around with you and smiled your way as he handed you your coffee

it made you blush when one day, your coffee cup had beomgyu’s name and number written on the side, along with some stars and smiley faces of course

you had to rush to your first class so it took you a while to be able to send him a text, but you made sure to reach out

how could you pass up a date with beomgyu from the campus starbucks???

he replied right away, asking if you wanted to go to a campus movie night together :)

of course you said yes <3

𝘁𝗮𝗲𝗵𝘆𝘂𝗻

classic meet-cute scenario incoming

you shouldn’t have scheduled classes so close together

you only had fifteen minutes to get from one end of campus to the other

it was a daily panic wondering if you��d make it to your psych class on time

silly you

one day had especially been a challenge

your professor only accepted printed-out essays rather than digitally submitted ones

and he wanted two extra copies so you could get them peer-reviewed

you basically had to run to class carrying a full ream of paper

in your panic to make it to class on time, you full-on ran into someone rounding the corner behind the student union

your papers went everywhere

“ah! i’m sorry! let me help you!” said whoever you bumped into like the klutz you were

“no no no, it’s my fault! don’t worry about it!” you assured them as you scooped up a bunch of papers that you’d have to reorganize

if only you owned a stapler!

finally you looked up at the person helping you and you were a little surprised at the nice guy crouched down in front of you

he helped you get your papers in order and handed them back to you, smiling and apologizing yet again

you found out that his name was taehyun and he had a class in the same building as you :)

you started seeing him more and more and you two walked to and from class when you could

he always teased you about the paper incident and often reminded you to staple your essays to avoid that incident again

𝗵𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗶

HA ok y’all met in the back of some generic gen ed class like bio 1

you had been trying and miserably sort of failing to follow along with the powerpoint that your professor was flying through

the guy next to you leaned over and very loudly whispered “do you understand what’s going on?????”

you just looked at him, gave him a dopey smile, and shook your head no

he thought that was so funny

it kind of was,,, you both just realized in that moment that you were Truly and Utterly lost in the sauce™

once class ended, he introduced himself and you two exchanged numbers right away so you could figure what the hell the homework was even supposed to be that night

spoiler alert: you never figured it out

you normally know what’s going on too so this is stressing you out

hyuka is constantly reassuring you that things will be fine and one bad class won’t ruin your gpa or anything!!!

you know he’s right but academic pressure still sucks

thankfully after the first few weeks of that class (and a lot of studying), you figure out what’s going on and can follow along pretty well

hyuka hasn’t though so he copies off of your notes constantly

you tell him he needs to learn how to study for himself but he can’t be bothered apparently

even though he only passes because of you, you two become fast friends

Streamer!Scaramouche AU

i feel like he’d be one of the biggest streamers on his platform- probably one of those that everyone has heard of even if they’re not into watching livestreams and all

but between those who do know who he is, they either love him or hate him. no in-between

it’s kind of understandable because his attitude is not suited/can be handled by anyone

he’s brutally honest even when his opinion may be seen as rude (to him he’s just saying the truth so he doesn’t mind if people get offended)

of course he doesn’t try to be rude on purpose but i mean it as in he’ll say what he thinks

imagine he’s playing a game and he doesn’t like a certain mechanic, or he isn’t enjoying the story;

he won’t say the game is bad but he’ll openly say he doesn’t like it/it’s not for him. it makes him seem strict but tbh he’s not that hard to please and even when he complains about one or two things he still enjoys the game

he usually gives every game a chance even when from what he’s seen it doesn’t sound like a game he’ll like. if he turns out to be right he just won’t play it again and if he’s wrong he’s a little too prideful to admit he spoke a little too fast but in the end he will admit the game is good or he’s having fun

probably the kind that just knows so much about all games and all the creators and all the game-making engines and is up to date with every single news of everything video-game + streaming-related,,, how does he do it, i don’t know,,,,

and also since he’s so popular he probably gets packages from game developers with limited edition stuff or merch from different games soooo often

and he placed the ones from his favorite games in his setup room and it looks INCREDIBLE he has so much stuff

he did a room tour stream once talking about all he has, where he got everything, from his monitor to every complement of his computer and like,,,,, the cost of his setup,,,,,,, some people already know they’ll never be able to afford that in their entire life

and he already had a great setup before he even became big as a streamer so people can already guess he’s fairly rich

also i feel like he would have started his career as a streamer without using a facecam and even like that, he already managed to get very popular because of his professional commentary of game dynamics/playability + you can tell that he’s passionate about this and also he’s very funny without even trying??

he says some stuff so casually that he doesn’t realise how funny it is

probs showed his face after he hit a very important milestone

he never considered showing his face that important but he understood why people would want to see his reactions when playing games (even tho he warned them he’s not the most expressive/dramatique person in the world and they know by now) and would want to put a face to the person who entertains them so much with his streams

and when he does show his face people go absolutely cRAZY BECAUSE he is crazy good looking (if you don’t think he’s good looking i’m sorry for your eyesight. jk i’m sorry in general i just really love him)

some people who didn’t watch his streams will even check them out because of that but literally if you come for the visuals only you won’t stay for long because as i said not anyone can handle his personality

if he sees people being superficial about him too much instead of paying attention to what’s happening in the stream, he will immediately turn the subs mode on in the chat (if he didn’t have it on already)

being rude, being disrespectful/saying discriminating stuff or anything of that sort won’t be tolerated and anyone who does it will be banned instantly

without even interrupting what he was saying before he saw the comment, he’ll just type the ban to whoever said that and go on

and his mods do the exact same. they are just as strict as him

if it ever got too much of course he wouldn’t be afraid to speak up about it and tell his chat to stop that behaviour or else, as they should already know, he won’t be afraid of banning them even if they’ve been subscribed for months or years

ANYWAYS

why do i feel like he has a super organised chat— as in instead of spamming 5 emotes per comment they all send just one and it looks so tidy and perfect

literally other streamers would be jealous of how not-messy his chat is even when he has thousands and thousands and thousands of viewers all the time

also i have this idea that maybe any of his fans would have designed him as a genshin character (which would be the design of the scaramouche we know (?))

and the little pop-ups (i don’t know the name in english rIP) thingies that show up to notify when someone subscribed or donated would be lil chibi art of that design

it’d be really cool

and since i also doodled what a stream of his could look like (i’ll show it in the future when i’m done!!) i thought that way it’d be more recognisable that the streamer is scaramouche

99% of the people who have seen him irl found him too intimidating to go ask him for a picture or tell him anything

he’s not a huge fan of taking pictures anyway + is more on the introverted/reserved side but he wouldn’t mind if someone went up to him (if he’s not busy with something) to tell him something or say they enjoy his streams

i feel like in a couple occasions he would have played a game with some subscribers and he’d like to tease them speaking with his usual tone and face (in case they’re watching the stream as they talk) so they think he’s serious

“did you watch my 12 hour stream the other day?” -scaramouche

“ah,,,, i-” -the sub

“think well of what you’re going to answer.” -scaramouche

“i-i couldn’t watch the whole thing,,,” -the sub

“ah, is that so…?” -scaramouche

he’ll pretend to sound disappointed but at one point he just can’t help but smirk and hold in a chuckle before telling them he’s not serious

(he literally doesn’t know how the hell he survived that stream himself because he isn’t one to stream for that long)

i feel like deep inside people who know him would know he wouldn’t say such things seriously/wouldn’t be disappointed in anyone for not watching every single minute of his streams or not even all his streams

but he says all that so seriously that it’s,,, intimidating and they’re lowkey like “god but what if he’s not joking-”

he’d play games with the other streamers sometimes but i feel like most of the type he’d play more single-player games

it’d be so funny if he plays among us with others and for example one of those others it’s childe

both of them would always be suspecting of the other first/bickering, especially scaramouche

and if one game turns out they’re both the impostors… people would know right away

like, if any of them tried to defend the other, everyone else would be like “!?! what is this? scaramouche and childe defending each other? scary”

they’d vote one of them (maybe scaramouche) out because they started guessing + saying proof of how both of them could be the impostors (but the biggest proof is them not coming for each other’s throats sNKJFNGKJS)

scaramouche would have to resist the urge to S C R E A M

needless to say he doesn’t like when he has to be impostor with childe

and unfortunately for him, fate makes it happen considerably often

i feel like at least one time scaramouche would kill next to childe and then report it and literally blame childe

and childe would be like ?!?!?!?!?? WHAT- NO- (struggles bc his brain instinct is to say ‘it was you!’ but they’re both the impostors??? how-)

and then they’d eject childe,,, and then people wouldn’t suspect of scaramouche for most of the game because ? why would he- blame his partner---

well he did it with no regrets and at the end when they all found out they found it very funny (except for childe, but even he ended up laughing in the end because what a mean strategy sjkfhdsgkj)

i have this feeling that even though they bicker so much and for any strangers it’d seem like they hate each other, when scaramouche does play online games, many times it’d be with childe?

ik they aren’t supposed to get along but for the sake of it being a modern au i don’t want bad vibes between any of the characters pls-

and everyone enjoys their dynamic and those streams always get a ton of viewers sjfhdsgkj and i’m sure both their chats would be good friends (most likely one’s fans would also be a fan of the other too)

very very very rarely (because he prefers just playing and talking while playing) he’d do streams where he doesn’t play anything but just talks with the chat, watches videos that they send him, looks at the fanart they make, just talks about games,,,,

it’d be super chill and the perfect streams for people to be doing homework/work/play games/draw or do basically anything while they listen to his stream in the background

he’d also be answering some of people’s questions about him or about his favorite games, or if he’s playing this new game that came out earlier this week,,,

“will you play ‘it takes two’ with childe?” -someone in the chat

“absolutely not. i won’t play a co-op game with him”

not even 5 days later, tweet from childe saying “streaming in 30 minutes! Scaramouche and I will be playing It Takes Two on my ch---”

anyways this will be all!! (for now?) i obviously knew genshin before this but, yesterday i could finally start playing it myself! so i feel like if not now, soon i will also write headcanons of him playing genshin! i don’t take requests but if you guys have any ideas or anything you want to say about this AU, send me an ask!! i’d love to talk about this and about genshin in general!

Aforementioned long ask post please excuse me while i try to figure out tumblr's new text editor. I’ll get into the art meme questions first and then the rest at the end.

Ok first of all thank you all for sending in questions! Giving me an excuse to talk hehe. I’ll address these in number order. Here’s a link to the ask meme for reference but also I’ll restate the question for ease of reading.

1. When did you get into art?

Super cliche answer but I don’t remember a time where I WASN’T the weird art kid! I started keeping a dedicated sketchbook when I was about 12? But here’s a page from my kindergarten journal about what I want to be when I grow up.

2. What art-related sites have you ever signed up for?

LOL this is a weird question. Not sure why so many people want to know. Anyways I definitely had a dA. more than one dA account. I used to browse oekakis when I was a kid but I think I was only signed up to some small ones that internet friends owned. What else...? Mangabullet,Tegakie, Paintberri, iscribble back when that was a thing, instagram if that COUNTs, I used to post art on livejournal and dreamwidth too. Patreon, I guess. Gumroad, inprnt, bigcartel, storenvy all for selling stuff.

In terms of resources.. I have a schoolism account that I’m sharing with friends. Used to take classes on coursera for free. I signed up to textures.com for work recently haha. I can’t remember if I ever had an account on posemaniacs. Did they have accounts...? I definitely used to visit all the time.

3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.

Alright here’s me actually logging into my old deviantart account. These are from September 2008 So I was 13 years old. I don’t have a deviantart account from before then because 13 was the required age for having an account and I didn’t want to lie about my age because I wanted people to be impressed by how young yet clearly incredible at art I was LOL.

4. What defines your artistic style?

You guys are probably more equipped to answer this than me but uh... I wanna say... Focus on colors. And... a slightly heavy hand? Like confident... not always well-considered mark making HAH...

Also I think I have a pretty healthy mix of american comics/manga influences. I feel like people who are into american comics always think my art is too manga and people who are into anime/manga always think my art is too american. And I’m taking that as a good sign.

5. Do you practice other styles/have you tried other styles in the past?

I like to think I switch it up a bunch! I mean, these are pretty different, right?

I think I’ve mentioned this before but one thing I really took away from art school is that, for an illustrator at least, art style shouldn’t be consistent. Your greatest weapon is changing the aspects of your style based on the task, the emotions and message you want to illustrate etc. So depending on the project I’m working on, the fandom I’m drawing for, whether I want something to be funny or serious or dramatic, I’ll change things about my style all the time.

One thing I don’t rly post on here is really tight polished work and that’s because I do that for my day job haha. If you’re not paying me... I’m probably not gonna color in the lines.

6. What levels of artistic education have you had?

I have a whole ass diploma LOL. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. from the Rhode Island School of Design. And I had a great college experience tbh. Besides the student loans. If any of you guys are thinking about art school feel free to e-mail or message me questions or concerns, I’ll be happy to help. Be as honest as I can be.

7. Show us at least one picture you drew or sketched recently that you did not put on a public site.

8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?

Well, obviously this is gonna change all the time and generally it’s gonna be my most recent piece LOL. So yeah, why the hell not. I’ll say it’s this one. I have a pretty short memory which I count as a blessing for an artist. I don’t dwell that long on older work and it keeps me moving forward.

10. What do you like most about your art?

I like that it’s something that only I would make! I had this thought fairly recently and I wrote it down in my sketchbook, it’s pretty cheesy and rambling but it felt revolutionary at the time:

So yeah. I like my art best when it’s the most me and for me. And I like it least when it feels like I’m just making something for social media or for other people’s expectations or whatever.

14. What do you like drawing the most?

Kids in baggy clothing are like my go-to LOL idk if that’s obvious. but also I like being challenged so lately I’ve really loved drawing multi-character compositions, environments, weird angles, etc.

oh i LOVE drawing the underside of shoes lol. And bandages. People that are kinda beat up.. I think it comes from getting a bunch of cuts all the time. I’m always patching myself up and I want to patch characters up too.

15. What do you like drawing the least?

mmm I try to find something to like in every drawing but lets see... I don’t like doing commissions of people’s dogs. Just because it’s normally like... a family friend and my mom volunteered me without my consent and I don’t even really know what they’re expecting me to draw and I don’t even get to meet the dog. Also I’m not that great at dog anatomy. Trying to learn though.

18. What is your purpose for drawing?

This could have a million answers! Uhhh to GIT GOOD??? But also to express myself... and also to make money... I mean it depends on what the drawing IS. I draw fanart mostly to connect to people in the fandom so if you ever see me drawing fanart please take it as like an open invitation to talk to me about the character haha.

20. How would you rank your art? (poor, mediocre, good, etc.)

Good!!! I have a lot of self-confidence primarily born out of ignorance and a short attention span. If I don’t think too hard about how many other artists are mindblowingly unfathombly good... its easy to think I’m good too! LOL

In all seriousness though, I think the opinion a person has of their art is like a crazy balancing act, right? Like you have to think you suck enough to want to get better but also you have to think you’re good enough to not want to give up. I think we’re all walking that line, I know I am! But also I’m a glass half-full type of person so. Most of the time I feel good about it.

22. List at least one of your “artspirations.”

This is a good question because I’ve been trying and failing to put together one of those “influence map” memes for like a full month now. What’s giving me a hard time is I feel like none of these are actually really obvious “““influences”““ in my art? Like it’s hard to see a lot of them in the work I make...? But idk maybe you guys’ll see what I can’t.

I mean if that’s how we’re defining shameful?? sure LOL. It’s not sprite comics but I used to do pokemon sprite recolors all the time. And I used to trace manga panels and color them... Granted this was all when I was like under 12 yrs old so it’s not even embarrassing. Can you really call it shameful when a 7 year old wets the bed or whatever? Not really. I think a lot of artists on social media talk about the struggle of making art but imo not enough people talk about the joy! Like I know it’s corny but. I really meant what I said at the beginning of that sketchbook about re-contextualizing art around process and progress > product and perfection. I think its super important..! The strength of messy, unfinished, and energetic art! For the feeling of it, for the love it!

Hi! I totally have the answer for digital stuff on my faq lol. But in terms of drawing on paper.. it varies! I tend to use sketchbooking and any on-paper doodling I do as a way to loosen up/warm-up or experiment. But right now my go-to aresenal is:

- grey tombow double brush pens

- good ol bic mechanical pencil

not EXACTly sure which inking you referring to from my sketchbook but if I had to take a guess it'd probably be the kuretake no55. That's been my main inker, lately. Great for sketching with the thin end too.

He mostly uses the internet for research or to order chemicals but he’ll often get swept up in some inane message chain with Harley and Eddie and he HATES IT.

He has like two dozen tabs open on his computer because he forgets about them and even though some of the tabs have been there for so long that he GENUINELY can’t remember why they were there, he keeps them because it makes Edward break into hives every time he tries to watch what he’s doing online. Giving Edward Nygma anxiety sweats is easy and free and should be done often.

Two-Face:

He uses incognito mode… whenever he needs to google embarrassing questions…

He likes to peruse the dark web but sometimes he enjoys hopping onto r/legaladvice and r/relationships and reads that shit like it's the Sunday paper.

If he’s bored or is having a bad mental day, he likes to look up all the Google doodle games that Google keeps archived. they’re all really cute and are a lot of fun to goof around with whenever he’s wanting to play something light and quick!

Chart First Impressions - Vernon

For more SVT astrology posts, follow my blog! Check out my masterlist to see all the readings I’ve done so far and what I’ve got coming up! 💫

This is just a very general reading of the member’s charts — the parts that popped out to me, things I personally liked, things I thought were interesting or contrary to the image I have of them. I’m not looking at anything in particular with each reading. Some of their readings may be more aspect focused, where some may just focus solely on their personal planets and their signs. If you have any questions on specific aspects or want to request a more specific reading, feel free to send me an ask!

two aquarians down, one more to go.

so i do feel the need to explain why i’m not here arguing why i think vernon or even dk may be either a pisces/aquarius sun.

(tho tbh if either of them were to lean towards pisces, i think it’d be vernon).

but really for me it just comes down to the fact they feel very clearly aquarian.

with woozi, his energies were a lot more vague/muddled and harder to organize where as it’s a lot simpler and cleaner a break with these two aqua/pisces cusps.

generally, aqua and pisces influences feel very different to me.

for me to consider them more pisces, i would be looking for them to appear much more yielding within a group and i don’t get that sense.

i’d also be looking for a certain degree of people-pleasing, or at least a strong courtesy towards how they contribute to the room’s energy. an aqua wouldn’t be as conscientious of this. they may be aware of it, but they wont let themselves be inhibited by it. where as a pisces would be hyper aware of this and very cautious.

not only that, but i’m not looking charts that would be void of explanation on either sign/element’s influence if they leaned either way.

woozi had no other scorpio in his chart if his sun wasn’t in scorpio.

where as with vernon, regardless of whether he’s an aqua or pisces sun, he’s still got a strong aqua and pisces influence in his chart to begin with so his reading wouldn’t be drastically different if he turned out to be a pisces sun.

similar with dk, where as his cancer influence in tandem with his aqua and libra would make it so the rest of his reading wouldn’t be horribly compromised.

if either one of them were to end up being a pisces sun, my reading of them would still be very similar just reorganized.

where as with jihoon, it was an entirely different story.

so it’s a mixture of pisces and aquas being a lot easier to differentiate than sag/scorpio, and also their charts having both influences in their other personal planets that i’m not too stressed about figuring their suns out.

but lets focus back on vernon.

his sun and mercury is in aqua.

i think vernon exemplifies exactly what i expect with an aquarius — like picture perfect artsy-brand aquarius.

his style (for one) has been so clearly created by him without any regard with what everyone else is doing.

and i think this is an important distinction to make with aquarians.

a lot of people like to think that aquarians like to be contrary for the sake of being contrary, and tbh i do know enough aquarians to know that sometimes that IS the case (but i dunno i think they just like messing with me)

but i do genuinely believe that when it comes to art and their work, the stuff that they do is genuinely so unique and out there because that’s just how their mind’s work.

for example, if you’re looking at a painting you’re generally going to focus on the focal points of them. the subject, the name of the painting, the artist, maybe context if ur interested. you’re going to take the evidence given to you to try and form a linear narrative. you’re going to focus on what you think the painter wants you to notice.

whereas an aquarius is naturally drawn elsewhere, maybe the background. maybe they’re noticing how it looks with the other paintings around it, or how the light is hitting it. maybe their placing the painting in a wild alternative universe and creating a story around it.

they’re less concerned with building a narrative around what the painter is trying to show, and is more concerned with finding new, uncovered things about it.

and that’s kinda a very vague glimpse into how aquarians build these crazy alternative worlds and perspectives they live in.

aquarians are a very progressive sign, this is certainly because they have a strong set of principles that lean very humanitarian.

but it’s also because they simply hate whatever may threaten one’s ability to exert autonomy over themselves, their expression, and how people perceive/treat them.

whether it’s them personally, or generally, or symbolically.

i don’t think it’s a direct correlation (like he thinks this way because he’s an aquarian) but when he was on happy together and they were talking about how his korean was very good and he was like “i mean, i AM korean.”

this is a very aquarian thing to want to blur the lines, and encourage people around them too approach these potentially hard to understand concepts simply and a matter-of-factly.

(tho i think in this specific instance he was really just combating the perception that he was more foreign to the MCs than he actually was).

anyway, back to aquas being lovable weirdos.

i like to think that the many ways aquas like to present themselves isn’t just for show/for the sake of being different.

sometimes it certainly takes a very physical/in your face form such as with fashion, but i like to think that they dress and act the way they do because they like being in the state of opposition and friction.

by having this imagine of themselves reflected back to them in how drastically different the other side is, that is something that both gives them excitement as well as a sense of comfort through purpose and identity.

they like sticking out because it’s a declaration of their character.

not only that, but they love the ease of just doing what they want without having to think or feel the weight of “what is everyone else going to think?”

that freedom is very important to them.

how interesting is it tho that we’ve got two aqua suns with water moons??

vernon’s scorpio moon is gonna be VERY different from dk’s cancer moon.

as social as an aqua can be in concept, they can really and honestly go either way.

either they are the popular kid whose in every extracurricular and is student council president, or they’re the kid sitting in the corner who just doodles all day in class.

you throw in a scorpio moon and it really makes him a pretty solitary guy.

extreme lone wolf vibes.

he likes being by himself, and it’s partially cuz the world is loud and his mind is entertaining in and of itself, and partially him being an incredibly independent and self-sufficient person.

he’s got the least social chart in all of seventeen, and any anti-social behaviors he may have simply come from the fact that looking outwards to others is not in his immediate logic.

it’s not in his muscle memory.

if he gets excited about a project, he’s probably going to lock himself up in his room and burry himself in it, as opposed to getting others involved.

“i need to get something? great i can leave right now.”

he doesn’t think to ask others if they wanna go because they aren’t a part of his immediate checklist that’s integral to his day/wellbeing.

his energies churn inwardly, and this is also why you find him just sitting around staring into space.

not because he doesn’t want to talk to people or doesn’t care about people, but because he’s very comfortable living in his mind and simply doesn’t care to experiment too much with his immediate effect on the world around him.

you take someone like jun who has so much energy bubbling in him, he can’t help but start doing things just to see what will happen and how people will react.

vernon may have a similar curiosity, but it’s much more imaginative, abstract, and isolated. he can play out those scenarios in his mind.

and this has many facets to it: his aqua influence makes him inventive and original in his thoughts where he as absolutely no shortage of daydream material. you throw in that pisces mars that is half daydreaming all the time, and that scorpio moon that makes him very intentionally reserved/independent and you’ve got vernon.

so vernon’s scorpio moon is everything we’ve talked about before about water moons: empathetic, intuitive, sensitive.

i think his scorpio moon is more interesting because of the darkness that a scorpio influence implies.

there’s a alarming depth from where his emotions rise from, which is surprising considering how chill he seems outwardly.

when it comes to his emotions, whatever it is, he wants them unabashed and unfiltered. no shame whatsoever.

this is due to his scorpio influence’s desire for authenticity, but also his aqua influence’s deep dislike for the superficial.

this would make him very discerning and generally pretty good at knowing when someone is trying to manipulate him, though his pisces mars may confuse him here and there.

he’d really be great for any deep, wild, out-there, maybe even taboo conversations you may wanna have.

pretty much anything would be on the table.

this is because his aqua influence would be prepared to entertain anything and everything, and is equally prepared take it seriously as you do.

while his scorpio moon isn’t particularly afraid of whatever you may bring up, and is pretty attracted to the more out-there topics.

it’d honestly just take a lot to really freak him out, and he’s really just open/excited to entertain any random idea you may have.

even if he reacts viscerally or even negatively, he’s still very slow to write something off.

his scorpio moon is sextile his cap venus

this softens his chart up a little bit, may mellow out his out-there qualities and give him a greater appreciation for more classy & romantic things.

this makes him more fluid in his interactions with people than his forthright aqua and unyielding scorpio may connote.

wonwoo has this same aspect, too, actually.

this would make him much more dynamic and flexible in how he expresses/receives affection.

would certainly also make him a lot more dedicated and stable in relationships than a aqua/pisces influence may imply where normally aqua wants independence and pisces may not be as present.

then you also have his scoprio moon trine pisces mars.

this is the aspect that really turns this chart upside down on it’s head imo.

aqua, scorpio, cap? they sound ready to fight at the drop of the hat.

but you have water meeting water in this trine, and this very seamless exchange of energies between emotion and action really turns him into this amazing peace-keeper because of how level-headed it makes him.

i think i remember they were talking in svt club about how vernon never gets angry, and if he gets angry it’s probably because other people are fighting and he’s like.

“i don’t get this. why?”

this is because he really doesn’t understand how people can get so swept by emotion that they’d start arguing with each other.

and he feels this way because, with a harmonious aspect between moon and mars, energy flows through him incredibly smoothy and easily.

good, bad, sad, excited. all that fun stuff flows through him and doesn’t experience much of a road block, and so with that he’s not only very familiar with the passing of these emotions, but he’s able to process and regulate them pretty easily without trying.

this would make him that excitable, expressive, reactive vernon we know and love because the emotions just flow through him.

but this would also mean that, because of that, he understands how to ride the waves of his emotions so that they don’t end up sweeping him in their undercurrent.

so when people do get into these heated arguments, he struggles to understand why they’d handle it in certain ways.

with that being said, he does have his moon square mercury which means he isn’t the BEST at communicating his thoughts on this matter.

he wants to so badly to put everything he feels into comprehensible words and concepts because of his aqua mercury.

but that aqua mercury may make his viewing/expression too far reaching to understand, while his scorpio moon may make his emotions hard to grasp and translate in the first place.

at the end of the day, his way of thinking is far too intuitive and abstract to put into words.

so, lmao, don’t invite him to mediate ur next fight. he’ll probs just confuse you both.

but if you need someone to chill with to cool you off and calm you down? he’s great because all that water turns him into this fantastic shock-absorber, and as i said before, his aqua/scorpio means that almost anything is on the table.

the last thing i’ll talk about is his pisces mars!

he’s a gentle, gentle boy.

if it wasn’t obvious enough already, there really isn’t a single angry bone in his body (that’s an exaggeration, we’re all capable of anger).

but he has such a gentle approach to life thanks to this pisces mars, and he goes about this with such sincerity and it’s so unfiltered and out there that you can’t help but appreciate how earnest he is, no matter how weird at the same time.

this would also turn his aquarian interest in a much more creative direction.

i know he said he can’t draw, but he has such a strong knack for creative thinking with that unique aqua and his pisces mars giving him a very fluid means of expression and deep understanding of artistic nuance.

everything he does, even if he’s not particularly good at, will have his signature stamp because he has such a great outlet for him to express his super strong, aquarian sense of self.

(and that, in and of itself, is an artistic feat).

super empathetic, a lot more emotional than he lets on.

but again, due to his moon’s harmonious aspects, even with all that deadpan and logical aqua, emotions are never ultra-abrasive to him so it’s genuinely really hard to catch an extreme emotion out of him unless he’s in a negative place generally.

he just gets emotions, and if he doesn’t understand them immediately he knows how to sit with them and live in them.

a very healing person to be around.

oh gosh that’s not fair bc i really adore these three idiots, they are my babies and i designed them specifically to be likeable despite being stupid teenagers

i think my favorite thing about wes is his snark, tbh. he’s a very anxious boi, especially considering that he’s the most connected to the entity and it occasionally possesses him and he loses big blocks of time in his memory and thats SPOOKY for him but when he’s questioned by the cops he’s just like ‘yeah bro what you gonna do bout it??’ and the cop who has to deal with him is just. so tired of teens.

morgan is really close with her mom and also REAL into conspiracy theories and ghosts and aliens and spooky shit in general. everyone thinks she wants to be a witch but she just likes collecting weird things. her favorite bands are nirvana and guns’n’roses and all of this is well and good but i think my favorite thing is how defensive she is of her friends. dwight and wesley are both ridiculous in their own right and morgan doesn’t let them get teased about it. unless she’s doing the teasing. then they best be prepared to get ROASTED.

• so you know that guy who is always over enthusiastic and excited about ANYTHING • that is Seongwoo at his finest • you always hear him before you see him • it’s simply a Seongwoo thing you know? • every time, everywhere • in university lectures • at the campus Starbucks • even on the other side of the football field • Ong’s voice will surround you • everyone is blessed with Seongwoo and the whole student body drools when they see him • along with his 10 friends • everyone calls them Wanna One • for some odd reason • strange • literally, everyone loves them • there are fan accounts on IG and Twitter just for individual members • your college is so extra tbh • side note: this actually happened at my friends’ school • like there were fan accounts of the popular boys • lowkey scary tbh • but anyway, they’re Wanna One • they are just THAT good-looking, well-mannered, smart • if you breathe the same air as them, good for you • honestly, you’ve inhaled too much of Seongwoo’s toxicity • he has been your neighbour since two of you were toddlers • but it isn’t that cute, fluffy, scattered with sugar story that is expected • no • the Ongs and your family aren’t exactly on good terms • it isn’t like World War III is about to lash out any moment but that’s exactly what I’m saying • there’s just some unspoken rivalry that neither of the younger generation understands • ‘you must never associate yourself with them!’ • ‘don’t even think about looking about that Ong boy!’ • your parents shut up whenever you question it and your grandparents brush it off • ‘it’s nothing. just ignore them and don’t give charity.’ • lol trying to trip Mr Ong Senior with your walking stick isn’t ‘nothing’ • but whatever, you and Seongwoo just avoid each other • like you’re meant to • your families would throw a big fuss if the two of you were within a 5-metre radius • ‘why can’t we just sell the house and move?’ You’ve asked that question many times • apparently, this house is passed down to your parents from generations ago and they must ‘continue the family tradition’ • this is weird • side note: I’m sure this happened in real life too • so you continue to avoid Seongwoo • even though many of your lectures are spent a few seats away from each other • sometimes you take that chance to ogle his extremely good features • that jawline • his twinkling eyes • those cool three moles on his face that form a perfect triangle • you wonder if he took his family’s eyeliner to draw it on • there’s no way he can be SO flawless • but he is Ong Seongwoo so there is a way • half of you wants to just say ‘f it’ and talk to him but the other, more rational half is saying that he won’t speak to you because of all that family drama • no one knows what even happened • you go about uni ignoring Ong and trying to suppress your feelings for him • but it’s really hard because of how ‘close’ you are to him • like if you concentrate, you can see that he’s actually drawing flowers on his notepad and not taking down notes • Seongwoo also lets Daniel, his best friend, doodle random sketches on his hands and arms • most of them resemble flora like patterns • it’s also not uncommon to see Seongwoo walking home with a bunch of wildflowers in his grasp • he likes flowers • and he’s intimidating • Seongwoo is that guy who will talk a bunch of crap and expect people to know what he’s referring to • only his friends get the drift • he’s just naturally talented in gag • always cheerful, bubbly, making his friends chortle with laughter • he definitely knows how to put on a show • playfully insults all his friends, won’t hesitate to punch one of them - but gently and for fun • you’ve seen enough of Seongwoo’s quirky personality to fall in love • finally, on the very last day of school, you muster up the courage to talk to him • ‘h-hey Seongwoo, c-could you sign m-my yearbook?’ you stutter out, blushing • internally: please! don’t! ever! tell! my! parents! about! this! • smiling, he turns away from Daniel - who wriggles his eyebrows - and takes your book • ‘sure, of course. holiday cards and online gifts

So I want to send some holiday cards to mutuals (who actually talk/interact please xD) if they’re up for it, they’ll be cheap generic Christmas cards but I’ll add stickers and messages. :) I am not sure how many I can send, but I can take a handful of international requests and then if you’re in the U.S., you’ll be easier to mail a card to. But you’re also free to opt out of a card, you can ask for a doodle or sketch or something. You can even just say “I’m content with being wished a happy holiday on a random post with no names” haha. I made a google form for you to fill out! So yeah, cards or drabbles or doodles - I won’t have a ton of spoons, so it won’t be ~amazing~, but I’ll do what I can. If I feel I’m getting too many requests, though, I’ll have to cut everyone off. But that’s only if I get like...over 25 or so. ^^ Edit: Oh! A friend had a good idea (PUNKY THE BRILLIANT TBH) about saying they’d take a card but it’s okay if I can’t do one, so if you want to leave a comment like that, that’s fine, too, I’ll manage SOMETHING damnit. Even if I scribble a flower and hearts for you. :3
