genuinely sometimes I think I'd be happier if I just left fandom altogether - maybe not the self shipping side that makes me happy but like. as much as spite used to fuel me into making even more poe stuff I have to admit that my experiences with that fandom have really just. burned me (out). wrote so much when i could’ve said ‘i think Henry gains his ability to psychically kill people from the mind flayer. i think the mind flayer was involved in the original killing of henry’s family because henry had a gate open in the wall we weren’t allowed to see. i think the mind flayer tried to use henry to open a wider gate because the original gate was opened after henry kept using telekinesis to kill animals and powers cause rifts between the worlds to open. i think the mind flayer was lost when the gate closed and that’s why henry telekinetically killed those kids. i think he joined up with the mind flayer and they worked together to implant those tunnels which henry later used to psychically hunt his victims to open gates for the mind flayer. henry needs will and the mind flayerhas the ability to help him do that. the mind flayer wants to take over the next dimension but can’t open gates so it needed henry. henry will always need to mf to give him strength but the mf no longer needs henry now that the gates are finally large enough for it to escape through’
