I'm sorry for taking everything on so quickly, I guess I just let it all get to my head. Darkrai got some advice and encouraged me to message to actually get to know you better.

However, I'm not the greatest with small talk...BUT I did have an idea.

Latios is a very fast flyer and does like to get some air time in unknown regions to him. Perhaps a tour round Cristalin? Plus I'd like to meet the rest of the League, it'd be a good opportunity for my team as a whole!

Pt.1 the biggest thing

So let’s start with the biggest thing and that is: some people just hate us.

Now that can be for a variety of reasons.

example: I know someone who hates alterhumans because she was stalked by one for months.

(More below the cut because this is a big post)

List of common reasons:

Some people hate us because those of us who have past lives go against their religion.

Some people just don’t like people who are different.

Some people think we are mentally ill.

Some people think we are zoos.

Some people think we are furries and because they hate furries they hate us.

Pt.2 keeping yourself safe

So this is extremely important if you are a minor Because most likely you live with a parent/guardian.

So how do you ensure you are safe?

Well it’s not that hard

1. Only tell people you trust. if you want to check if it’s safe to tell someone mention therians in conversations and see how they react.

2. Remember that there are community’s online that you can make friends on if you can’t tell anyone irl about your identity. (Therian guide.net is one)

3. If your parents/guardians are supportive you can find fellow therians on international therian day just draw the therian delta in your hand.

Pt.3 what if I don’t have shifts?

So lets make one thing clear not all therians have shifts a good chunk do but they are not what make you a therian/Otherkin.

Also it’s perfectly fine and quite common not to know you therotype/Kintype right away.

It’s also perfectly fine to be mistaken on your therotype/Kintype for example: I went through a period of thinking I was a crow therian

(I do think I have a winged thero/Kintype but that’s a story for another day)

So pretty much it’s ok to be mistaken infact most alterhumans are at first .

Pt.4 The pros and cons of packs

So I was actually a head mod on hiddenwhispers discord server until my aunt discovered I had discord. (as i am a minor I have tak obey her wishes)

So now I am gonna give a overview of my experiences with therian packs

So the first one I joined (foxx_kit on yts one)

There was lots of dark stuff in the heavy vent channel but Everyone was really nice and all in all it was a great experience.

The second one what I helped create

It was good a lot of dark stuff in the vents but still good.

Now for hiddenwhispers one.

So most people were nice and respected me as a mod but we got frequently raided by antis who sent gore and other stuff.

Lots of dark stuff in the vents.

Whisper was really nice and always treated me as a close friend.

So one thing you will notice is lots of them have vents that contain images of sh so that’s a downside.

On the otherhand I made many friends so at the end of the day it’s good unless you look in the vents.

Any blogs you follow that you really like?

(OOC: I seriously can't tell if this is an in character ask or an OOC ask, so I'll just answer OOC. I like browsing the Rotomblr tag more often than browsing specific blogs on a day to day basis, but the most notable pair of blogs I can think of is Astra ( @wishmaker-astra ) and Mare ( @aura-acolyte ). Well, specifically their reblog chains. Fun to read!)

(Another blog I'd like to mention is Clay ( @pokemonranch )! Lovely artwork as well as fun adoption events! I was lucky enough to be able to adopt one of them, being Navy, the little Absol/Oshawott hybrid!)

(Another artist to highlight is Tannuki ( @tannuki-in-training )! Their art incorporating real life pictures is beautiful and I especially loved the Tobias, Darkrai and Latios piece they did!)

(The Cristalin region ( @cristalin-league-official ) was REALLY enjoyable to read about whilst developing the bond between Zeph and Tobias, the regional concept was one I never really considered before!)

Ozzy girlies...WE DID IT! We finally got our man!! and the scenes with Ozzy this week were so good!!

can we talk about Grace tho and how they completely butchered her character??? I understand that they cant possibly be bothered to write a second storyline for her if youre on the ozzy route but what in the delulu was that??? When she was talking about how she was STILL going to pick Ozzy and STILL thought they could work. BIH WHAT??? and her STORMING OFF!!! im glad we got to confront her about her delusions but she still seemed to not get it?? which again...WHAT???

all in all...im still happy we finally got Ozzy and so glad we slept on the daybeds...I was actually wondering how that was going to work out with Grace in the room.

also not ozzy related but ...I kind of love how Zeph was brought up 194 times this season just to never come in 🤣 bc at this point unless he comes in as the finale host why would you bring up that man so much?!?!?! I know the irl show doesnt do this anymore but they couldve easily done a mean tweets challenge and have Zeph tweeted the show. that way their art department wouldnt have to draw in a new person but we wouldve at least heard from Zeph.

Okay hi, sorry if this is odd but I'm deathly curious about something. Do you know why most folks seem to headcanon Zephyr as having chronic pain?

I really hope this doesn't come off as judgey, I have chronic pain myself haha, I'm just new to the ghoul side of the Ghost fandom and seeing so many people all share the exact same ideas has me curious. These headcanons are just so widespread, but so uniform from person to person that I'd almost assume they weren't even headcanons in the first place (if that makes sense).

First of all heyyy welcome to the ghoul side of the fandom

It stems from a lot of places I believe, mostly the fact that Zeph used a chair while playing for ghost, and so a lot of people came up with the headcanon that it was due to the ghoul having a chronic illness or being disabled. As for the unmasked person I truly have no clue if this is the case, I don’t think it’s honestly actually known to be true, I don’t believe it is but don’t quote me on it

I think it’s just a headcanon everyone latched onto, mostly out of a want for representation. I know I absolutely shove all of my irl chronic illness on them mostly because I like writing about my experiences, and again I think that’s the case for many, and those who aren’t that way simply enjoy the representation and want to have diverse characters, (part of this I think also plays into the fact that most of the fandom hcs them as nonbinary)

I hope this helps! I do not speak for everyone but this is my educated guess based on my experiences writing them and others I know who write them because of their disabilities (: feel free to ask any other questions! We love new people

You sit there, shell shocked out of your mind as you stare at Zephyrine, whose hands are covered in dark mucus and bits of synthetic meat. Her chest rises up and down in pants, looking down at her now broken umbrella that drips with the same mucus and drops it to the side with wet, metallic thump.

Finally, she turns to look at you and rushes over as a realization strucks her.

"Oh shit, are you okay?!" She asks frantically, quick to kneel down beside you. Her hands reach out to hold you but stops to quickly wipe on her skirt. The smell of rotting meat is strong and you can't help the gag that comes out of you.

Zephyrine mutters out an apology as she takes a hold of your face to inspect you for any injuries. When none comes, she breathes out a sigh of relief as she hangs her head to rest on your chest, hands moving down to your shoulders.

You both stay this way, the silence surrounding you in this little bubble of peace.

"You should've left me for dead." You say after a while, eyes now glued to the wall, forbidding yourself to even look at the dead thing just below it.

"And why should I?" Zephyrine lowly asks.

"You know why."

Another moment of silence.

"You're being cruel to yourself." She finally says.

"And you are too," you point out, "for nearly getting yourself killed trying to save me."

"I think it's worth it." She shifts a bit, getting into a more comfortable position. "You know what they say, 'when you love something, you protect it'."

You frown. "But still—"

"I know we both want to jump off already," her grip tightens a bit on your shoulders, "but I'm not going to let you do that. Not now. Not yet. I think you're still special and worth every effort to keep alive."

"Zeph..."

"Promise me you won't do that again, okay...?"

You finally look down at her, and all you see is her red hair. Your hands wrap around her and you pull her into a hug, hearing a faint sob escape her.

I first started watching a little into season 9! I had seen my moots talking about it when it started, but it was actually my irl who got me into it. I think Double Life started shortly after I started watching HC, so it was my first life series!

I’ve been drawing my entire life, I can’t remember a time where I didn’t want to be an artist or when I wasn’t drawing all over my homework lol. There were a few years where I was really unsure if I was going to be a writer or an artist, because I did both a ton, but eventually drawing became my main focus again. Would love to get back into writing tho :D
