So I posted about this a while ago, but most of it was in a long reblog chain that I don't think many people saw haha. The base concept is as follows:

The plot would be driven by Hera conducting a rebellion against Zeus and using Maven to gather allies. Maven and Cal would be forced to fight against each other, both one on one and as generals in warfare. Maven joins forces with a league of nymphs headed by nymph!Iris, and in an unexpected turn of events, is also allied with Satyr!Kilorn, Daughter of Hecate!Farley, and Daughter of Hades!Cameron. As for their loyalty . . . we'll see.

Mare is a daughter of Nemesis. She's on her own side.

Evangeline and Ptolemus: children of Ares. Evangeline joins the Hunters of Artemis and quits for Elane. They fight for Zeus and Cal.

She returns it until she comes to her senses and pulls away and backs up against a wall at the end of the cavern)

(Back in the woods. Persey’s astral projection lance in front of Ben and Mal)

(Audreficent is too busy coughing up blood to answer her)

Ben: I think it was Maddy. It felt a lot like Uma’s wave of grief for Harry. And Hatter had just died.

(Audreficent starts laughing through the blood vomit)

Maleficent stand there, almost a dead ringer for Mal only taller, older and prouder while Audrey’s slumped against the tree like a corpse)

Mal (sick to her stomach): dad. Could you please teleport Audrey to the medical room. But please stay here.

(Once Audrey is removed from the clearing)

(He hangs up)

Ben: Doug. They’re ready for the final defence. I said we’d watch.

(They face the midair screen. This is when “bohemian rhapsody” happens. After the song. Jane wakes up to find Jay and Carlos hugging her)

Jane: I’ve had this dream. Many, many times. But you guys were never watching us.

Doug: Helga Sinclair infected you with wonderland spores. Jay and Carlos saved you with true love’s kiss.

Jane: huh. Cool. Could you guys leave now please. I’d really like to get back to my dream.

Persey: I think you might have to wait for that dream honey.

Jane: why?

Persey: because I think Maleficent just escaped the manacles.

(Persey’s right. There’s a shaft of emerald green light shoot up from the middle of the forest)

(Back in the clearing. Maleficent’s sending attack after attack at Ben, Mal and Hades but they’re refusing to break)

(She notices plumes of multicoloured travel smoke headed towards her. She singles out the white plume and in a blink of an eye she’s got a knife to Carlos’s throat)

Maleficent: you take one more move against me and your precious little runt DIES!!!!

Carlos: that threat would’ve worked two years ago. But. Not anymore. ALLEY-OOP.

(He teleports out of Maleficent’s grip and proceeds to hyper kick her in the face repeatedly before doing an elegant superhero landing)

Maleficent: why must it be so DIFFICULT WITH YOU?!?!

Hades: because you know you can’t win. Not when all of us are against you. And it fucking tears you up inside.

Maleficent: you are right my love. For once you are right. And that is an ailment that is easily remedied.

(With that, she creates a twister that scoops up the allies, deposits all of them outside the forest and seals the forest off in yet another barrier)

Maleficent: this is between you, me, my daughter

Hades: My daughter.

Maleficent: MY daughter. And the handsome young king. But first. I shall kill you. My love. My sweet. My pawn.

(She starts force choking Hades until he’s on his knees while she blocks Ben and Mal’s attempts to help him. This is when “toxic” happens. After the song. Maleficent gasps awake)

Hades: any last words?

Maleficent: why do you continue to fight when you could have joined me?

Hades: because you’re a nutbag who uses people to her own ends.

Maleficent: you say that like it’s a bad thing.

Hades: it IS a bad thing!

Maleficent (getting up and making her way towards Hades): oh come on my love. We had a good time while we lasted.

Hades: yes. And then we got married. And you kicked me out the next morning. And what was that last one? Oh yeah. You threatened to kill my daughter if I ever dared to make contact with her!

(Maleficent tries to speak but is forced into silence)

(Maleficent is forced into a bow so deep that her nose ends up being two inches into the ground)

Hades: hehehehehe. Ohhhh I could get used to this. But I don’t. Legally. It’s Mal’s. The Gift and the sword. I could never take them away from her. Not without her say so. Un. Like. You.

As aventuras começam a partir do momento que Evangeline entra em contato com o Arcano Príncipe de Copas, a fim de impedir o casamento do seu amado Luc, sendo este, suspeito de estar subjugado por um feitiço. Em um diálogo com Jacks, já ao final do enredo, Evangeline se dá conta de uma coisa: _“Com Luc, tentara se convencer de que estava agindo por amor. Mas não estava, não de fato. Não estava tomando decisões por amor, estava tomando decisões comprometedoras porque queria amor. Luc não era a sua fraqueza - amor era. Nem sequer o amor em si, mas a ideia dele.” (p. 279)_ Observa-se como a personagem toma consciência da sua condição submetida desde o início.             Plot.

    Seattle, Washington, Estados Unidos de América.

  Entre centenares de libros, ruidos de tacones y corazones llenos de ilusiones da comienzo a un nuevo semestre dentro de las instalaciones de la prestigiosa Universidad de Clapton quien abre sus brazos a sus antiguos alumnos así como a aquellos de nuevo ingreso.

  Sus pasillos se llenan de rostros juveniles dispuestos a dar comienzo a su vida adulta, las aulas son impregnadas de sabiduría y las diversas fraternidades se esmeran en capturar la atención de los novatos en búsqueda de nuevos hermanos ¿Amor? ¿Desamor? ¿Aventuras? Son tan solo algunas de las experiencias que se vivirán en cada rincón de la institución la cual como cada año conservara en su memoria cada historia llenando a sus habitantes de experiencia y sabiduría propia, pero ¿Y si existiera algo más?

  Fundada en el año de 1959 por Rupert Clapton un distinguido médico de la región quien con esmero y sudor fue construyendo poco a poco aquel imperio, rodeado de un majestuoso bosque y ubicado a las afueras de Seattle fue adquiriendo renombre hasta nuestros días convertirse en una de las diez instituciones más prestigiosas e influyentes del continente americano y el mundo. Sin embargo también se encuentra rodeada de un sinfín de misterios que comienzan con el mismísimo Rupert y su extraña muerte ¿Suicidio? ¿Homicidio? Mucho se ha rumoreado, desde quienes aseguran que el hombre cansado de las presiones decidió huir de Seattle dejando su universidad a cargo de su hija Margott, hasta aquellos más osados que mencionan una conspiración debido a atrocidades cometidas por el hombre durante la guerra nazi, lo único cierto es que su cadáver jamás apareció…

  Continuando con el misterio “Aphrodite” cuando en el año de 1996 bajo el mandatario de Margott Clapton desapareció su abeja reina la señorita Evangeline Minessotta durante la celebración de la fiesta anual en alusión al día de brujas, en donde según declaraciones de sus hermanas de fraternidad la joven fallecida manifestó ser asediada desde hace días por alguien caracterizado como la recién estrenada película Scream y luego tras una pelea con su novio en cuestión y en un arranque de ira, salir huyendo de la festividad no volviendo a ser vista. Todo pareció indicar que la tierra se la había tragado, hasta que semanas más tarde sus prendas fueron encontradas en la que fuese su alcoba con un claro mensaje “Clapton no perdona” y un precioso recuerdo “El dedo anular de la chica que aun portaba el distintivo anillo de la fraternidad” cabe destacar que su cuerpo jamás fue encontrado y los pocos sospechosos del caso fueron rápidamente descartados

  Aunque en su momento el incidente fue documentado en cada periódico de la zona y Clapton se vio en la inminente amenaza de cerrar sus puertas para siempre, poco a poco y al transcurrir de los años el mundo olvido a Evangeline y su extraña desaparición, haciendo que Clapton recuperase el grado de influencia para bien sobre el país y el mundo entero.  

 Diecinueve años han pasado y el incidente inclusive ha sido olvidado por las hermosas integrantes de “Aphrodite”  quienes han seguido escribiendo su imperio basado en el superficialísimo, el dominio a los más inferiores y el claro mensaje de que seres más perfectos que ellas no existen sobre este planeta. Sin embargo al transcurso de los años la competencia para estas chicas se ha hecho presente, forzándolas a hacer alianzas para mantener su fuerza dentro de Clapton ¿La principal competencia? Las chicas de Hera.

 Pero, este año nuestras diversas fraternidades tendrán que luchar contra algo más allá que sus respectivos egos, pues “Scream” como fue bautizado aquel asesino de los años noventa ha regresado dispuesto a sacar algunos gritos por parte de nuestros estudiantes y el mensaje que ha dejado a sido muy claro, tras haber tomado toda la responsabilidad del reciente asesinado de Antonhy el lider de Zeus.

         “Clapton no perdona y Aphrodite lo sabe”

 Sin embargo esta vez no solo ha atacado a miembros de la más sensual de las fraternidades, si no que ha declarado la guerra a Hera, Zeus, Atenea, Artemisa, Ares, Poseidón e inclusive a la más temida de todas Hades…

 ¿Estás dispuesto a formar parte de ello? ¿Crees poder sobrevivir a la furia de nuestro misterioso asesino o le brindaras tu cabeza en charola de plata?

   Scream ha vuelto, más sanguinario, más listo y con más sed de venganza.                                      ¡Abre bien los ojos! Que podrías ser tu el siguiente.

Las Erinias. | Acto cero, primera parte.

En la mitología griega, las Erinias son personificaciones femeninas de la venganza que perseguían a los culpables de ciertos crímenes. También se las llamaba Euménides, antífrasis utilizada para evitar su ira cuando se pronunciaba su verdadero nombre. Según la tradición, este nombre se habría empleado por primera vez tras la absolución de Orestes por el Areópago, y más tarde se usó para aludir al lado benigno de las Erinias.

En Atenas también se utilizaba eufemísticamente la perífrasis ‘venerables diosas’. Asimismo se aludía a ellas como ‘diosas ctónicas’, y se les aplicaba el epíteto Praxídiceas, ‘ejecutoras de las leyes’. En la mitología romana se les conoce como Furias.

Según cuenta la leyenda, las Erinias son hijas de la Zagreo y Ramnusia, salvo, en instancia, la más pequeña. Tan sólo ella fue adoptada bajo el yugo de sus hermanas, frente al desamparo y el miedo floreciente en el pecho de la madre biológica de la criatura.

Son tres, y nunca tienden a separarse, aunque así las veas.

Alecto (‘la implacable’), que castiga los delitos morales. Escondida bajo el nombre de Allana Meriott, hija de Davina Valtoria y Athan Eloy, fue entregada con cinco años al amparo de La Dalia Escarlata y la unión de las Erinias, cuenta con veinte años de edad. Apodada la “Reina de Corazones Negros” en el mundo de los delitos de guante blanco, experta en el juego del póker; dona el dinero robado a los niños necesitados, a los distintos refugios para mujeres creados por La Dalia alrededor del mundo, y a todo aquel que lo necesite, actuando como un Robin Hood. Maltratada en ocasiones por su padre bilógico, incluso, violada por un maleante contratado por el progenitor; el mismo no acabó con buena fortuna. Padece un irrefutable odio al tacto más allá de sus manos, causa de los traumas del pasado. Astuta, callada, agresiva, calculadora y observadora; es, de lejos, la más peligrosa de las tres.

Megera (‘la celosa’), que castiga los delitos de infidelidad. Hija de Evangeline Villorde y Athan Eloy, hermana de sangre de Tisífone, se econde bajo el nombre de Calio Meriott, cuenta con 34 años. Trabaja para su padre, en su empresa, como segunda CEO. La relación con sus hermanas pende de una cuerda floja aparentemente, debido a varios altercados del pasado, y a que ella se ha “posicionado a favor de su padre”. También ha sido castigada por su padre, durante años fue encerrada durante horas en un tonel lleno de agua sin cabida  de aire. Detrás de esa inocencia y sumisión hay una lengua afilada casi tanto como sus cuchillos, y cuando menos te lo esperas, ataca. Que no te engañen sus palabras dulces, su tono meloso y sus ojos de cervatillo.

Tisífone (‘la vengadora del asesinato’), que castiga los delitos de sangre. Escondida bajo el nombre de Neera Meriott, cuenta con 30 años.  Empleada del Moulin Rogue, donde tiende a encontrar a los culpables de los delitos, para, posteriormente, vengarse de ellos; también como espía, logrando infiltrarse en grupos para nada agradables (mafias, minas que explotan a personas, sectas, etcétera). Su padre la castigaba siendo una infante mediante el empleo de un látigo que impactaba directo en su espalda, razón por la cual esconde la misma bajo capas de ropa, también alejó a su hijo de ella cuando el infante tenía apenas tres años, asesinándolo posteriormente. Altanera, demasiado astuta, se meterá debajo de tu piel para conseguir lo que busca, seductora a más no poder, y sin tapujos; sabe jugar sus cartas demasiado bien.

Se representa a estas hórridas deidades vengadoras como genios femeninos con serpientes enroscadas en sus muñecas, portando látigos y antorchas, y con sangre manando de sus ojos en lugar de lágrimas. 

Las Erinias son fuerzas primitivas anteriores a los dioses olímpicos, por lo que no se someten a la autoridad de Zeus. Son las encargadas de castigar los crímenes durante la vida de sus autores materiales, y no más tarde. No obstante, siendo su campo de acción ilimitado, si el autor del crimen muere lo perseguirán hasta el inframundo. Justas pero sin piedad, ningún rezo ni sacrificio puede conmoverlas ni impedir que lleven a cabo su tarea. Rechazan las circunstancias atenuantes y castigan todas las ofensas contra la sociedad y la naturaleza, como el perjurio, la violación de los ritos de hospitalidad y, sobre todo, los crímenes o asesinatos contra la familia. En épocas antiguas se creía que los seres humanos no podían ni debían castigar tan horribles crímenes, correspondiendo a las Erinias perseguir al desterrado asesino del fallecido en venganza, hostigándole hasta hacerle enloquecer. La tortura solo cesaba si el criminal encontraba a alguien que le purificase de sus crímenes.

Atormentan a los que hacen el mal, persiguiéndolos incansablemente hasta volverlos locos. En un sentido más amplio, las Erinias representan la rectitud de las cosas dentro del orden establecido, protectoras del cosmos frente al caos.

Gracias a un maleficio lanzado por Verónica Bergman, tras su reencarnación, teniendo vagos recuerdos, que se asemejan más a un dejà-vu, de su vida anterior. Del mismo modo, y habiendo otra deidad en juego, suelen realizar ciertos trabajos para la dios Eris, aunque al final del día no pertenecen a nadie y trabajan por libre.

Worldbuilding: Andromeda Part II

1987

Businessman and Vigilante Richard Henry is born on May 19th in Arkham City, Illinois, to Alfred Godfrey and Selena Henry--sister of UK Businessman Brentford Henry of Henrick Enterprises. Donald Dyne is born on July 1st in Arkham City to Maximum Dyne and Annaliese Pride--daughter of Evangeline Pride, granddaughter to Nathaniel Pride, aka Pride, the New God of Earth.

1988

Businesswoman Marissa Constanza Sue is born on May 31st in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Sebastian Sue and Camilla Alvarez.

1989

In mortal years, Theodoras and Teresa Titan are born to Greek deity Zeus of Olympus and Amazonian Queen Arina--and the day of Medusa’s death.

1992

Sebastian Sue and Camilla Alvarez relocate to Nightingham, California, United Provinces from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with their four-year-old daughter Marissa Sue to license and run their business dream, Metallic Incorporated, all the ripe age of 30.

1993

Monica Light manages the newly established Light Corp in Metro City while Lex (41) takes his son, Lucius Light (8), up north to Kingdom Cove where he plans to negotiate on a set of terms to establish a power plant in replacement of the old. Lex has been in talks with KC’s government in expectancy to brand his company nationwide. A simple four month stay. Around the second month, however, Lucius takes notice of the strange atmosphere and confides in his father about his fears. Lex reassures him everything’s fine but at the back of his mind, he holds suspicion. By the near end of their stay, Lex comes to a conspiracy dating back to the public announcement of the super soldier program and the Cold Blood war. But as nothing confirms this, he relegates it to the back of his mind.

Meanwhile, delinquents Bradley Gensen and Matthias Trippy are born in Arkham City, Illinois and Riverside, British Columbia respectively, to Tyrone and Monae Gensen and Sariah and Abraham Trippy--June 1st and June 10th.

1995

Arkham City experiences it’s worst tragedy as the Connelly Family commits manslaughter taking the lives of 1,986 individuals, including that of Alfred and Selena Henry, parents to Richard Henry--October 3rd, a date that’s never forgotten.

2002

Lex (50) and his Light Corp company now service almost the entire nation alongside Metallic Inc., Brimstone Marketing and bunch others such as the Royal Bank of the United Provinces.

2009-2010

Brentford Henry, CEO of Henrick Enterprises, licenses his company in North America, starting with the United Provinces. He plans to build North America’s headquarters in Arkham City as where his nephew resides--Richard Henry--in hopes he takes the mantle of managing that western branch. In 2010, Brentford’s plan are approved by the board and development begins. However, it’s also the year of Alexander Light’s death, due to a heart attack.

Late 2010, Camilla Sue of Metallic Inc. offers her daughter, Marissa Sue, the position of CEO following the death of her husband Sebastian Sue in 2009.

2011

Lucius Light, now CEO of Light Corp, licenses a subsidiary he plans to call Vanity Stone. Meanwhile, Richard and Don, who’ve had meetings with Brentford Henry about Henrick Enterprises’ western branch, have now begun the hiring process as CEO’s. Top notch mechanic, Ashley King, is hired as the boss of Henrick Auto, a division of Henrick Enterprises, who in turn hired Teresa Titan when she came to the mortal realm against her father’s wishes midyear.

2012

Vanity Stone is due by winter with construction having started since fall last year. Meanwhile, Lucius holds a meeting with other CEO’s, the press and media, and selective VIPs to declare his game plan for the country and hopefully soon, the world, in light of everything he’s witnessed in the past decade or so.

Pretty vague at the moment, but I don’t really want to spill too much. This just gives a basic outline of the major events in history of the United Provinces and how the world has become affected by it--and how it affects the people individually. And like with anything, any and all things mentioned are subject to change, but I’ve mostly need to just adjust and tweak a few things so I don’t run into plot holes, or rather gaping plot holes when I return to actual writing in this series.
