Tsubomi haters are so corny. “I hate her cause she rejected Mob”??? First of all it’s very telling what type of person you are if that’s why you hate her, second, her rejection was realistic as her and Mob barely interacted. Mob is the one looking at her in awe, never even speaking to her. She says it herself in season 3 when he brings her a tissue.

The whole point of Mob Psycho 100 is to go against tropes common in shounen, and that would be to get the girl. It’s somewhat hinted at when she literally rejected the whole student body of boys at her school. If she didn’t want any guys at her school why would she want Mob? And it’s not like Mob was broken by this, in fact, her rejection helped him grow as a person, and they still talk even though she rejected him. It’s not like she can control her attraction and who she’s attracted to?

Also if you ship Tsubmob/Ritsubomi, I’m convinced you missed the whole point of the show.

I don’t trust Minori haters. I get not liking her for the fact that that’s how she would treat Mob if they met before but acting like she now isn’t making a conscious effort to change is insane. She’s a 14 year old girl. 14. I’m solely convinced you missed the whole point of Mob Psycho 100 if you think she’s still a horrible person, cause the point is to go against tropes in shounen, and that would obviously mean making the villains remain villains.

Minori completely had a change of heart and now she’s trying to better herself and acting like she’s still a heartless monster with no remorse is just so stupid. Also it feels like misogyny cause if she was a guy, people would forgive her way more quickly and easily.

I don’t have any proper wording but this is just my two cents so far.

“I never understood the plot of Dead Apple” because you just focus on the scenes with skk. Don’t worry! I’m here to give you a whole run down on what I think Dead Apple is really about ^_^!

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

I believe that Dead Apple’s main focus was Atsushi and his trauma, and about him confronting his own trauma head on! I believe that should be obvious with the copious amounts of flashbacks they give him, and the new found fact you get when watching the movie. Said fact being that Shibusawa was apart of Atsushi’s past, in the form of torturing him until the boy killed him (I think he killed him at least). I believe the novels and manga explain it better but basically, Dead Apple is all about Atsushi and giving us an expansion on him and his backstory and watching him confront his trauma. But for the love of Christ can we please stop dumbing it down to “haha Chūya and Dazai crotch scene” because while I do love skk, they’re not the main focus atm, Atsushi is.
