i have finally read the entirety of lockwood & co, and the series is sooo goooooddd

i love the characters, but i feel like the friendship between lockwood and george isn't talked about enough

so i drew an indulgent hurt/comfort (with emphasis on the hurt) hug :] i rarely do proper shading, hope this looks okay

poking my head in to say hi and share this! long ago a younger me found this amazing comic by @lackadaisycats on deviantart. i fell deeply in love with the art style and the characters, and i am incredibly happy to see the project blossom and bloom into the awesome pilot that recently aired on their youtube channel. you should absolutely check it out! this is just my vision of human freckle. i gave him ginger-y hair to honor his background and his fur's color and stylized it so he'd look all prim and proper (since he is his mama's boy) and a curl that very conveniently falls over his eyes whenever he's in a rage. the second emotion was a ton of fun to draw! but i didn't stop there and decided to add some decor - ever present daises and calvin's lucky three of clubs card.
