Imagine ignoring the 141 guys because your reading a book and don't want to be bothered. They think you live with the reality of books more than people and that you may regret it.
♤ Price would just confiscate the book and keep it with him. Basically, signaling a time out. It's time for you to go hang out with the team and stop living in another world you can live in later. He would be more or less silent about it and would give it back once he felt you had enough time without it.
♡ Ghost would confiscate it as well but give you a harsh, "Stop fucking reading and go touch some grass."
◇ Soap would older brother it. Especially to get your attention. This would end up with you on top of a vending machine, wrestling on the floor, or attempting to chase down Soap from stealing your book. Eventually, if you stopped chasing him or never started, he would come and hang out (after putting it somewhere). Try to get you out of the barracks and attached to other people than your book friends.
♧ Gaz would take the book as well, but may be more inclined to hide it somewhere. He may take it and lock himself in the bathroom while reading it out loud until you agreed to get out and do real people things.
If you ignored them and just grabbed another book to read (or opened it on your phone)
♤ Price would have you sit next to him for the next couple of days after a disappointed dad bit. This or set a few tasks that you "voluntarily need to complete." He would not mind having his Leuitenant see that you were understanding it. He had a reason. you're going to get it.
♡ Ghost does not like to repeat himself. An order is an order. However, he would see right through why you would not put it down. Either he would read with you and maybe find new spots to open you up while reading or he would drop you off in the middle of nowhere and give you a map for yourselves to find a way back.
◇ Soap would have a chat with you. About how he was a little worried. He would then keep going out of his way to make plans with you and others to get you to socializing more.
♧ Gaz would hide your book, your phone, your wallet and keys, and force an activity. If you needed to talk, you can. But the presence was fine to if it was better that way.

Imagine trying to learn another language in front of Task Force 141 and they are trying to talk to you. But since you are reading in another language, you dont register the words they were saying until soap moves you like an older brother pushing your shoulder.
"Stop reading your book and start socializing"

König being around smaller operative.
Not König ignoring your ass the first time you're in his unit. Not really viewing you as anyone different, special, or yet a pain in ass.
The only reason you got put on his radar was because you were shorter than him and went into his blind spot when he turned around. He was usually hyper aware of who was around him in a room, what they were doing, and where they were going to need to be. But you scurried in without a sound and threw him off completely.
You had scared the shit out of him.
He caught you harshly by the arm before you fell, but afterwards scolded you for not paying attention to where he was. "That was not smart. If I was equipment, you could have been seriously injured.”
After your first encounter (and set of pushups), you ran into each other three to four more times. He thought you didn't get the point of being aware of your surroundings the first time and would smoke you constantly afterwards.
"If you can't look up to see me standing or walking, how will you see a sniper coming after your team?"
"Do you run into walls as much as you do me?"
"For someone so small, you are in fact durable."
At the end of the day, it wasn't as though you didn't see him. It's just that the man moved too quickly around a corner and you only saw his equipment before it was too late. You would stop and try to dodge, but he would keep on walking and get you.
Apart from you running into him, he did hit you with the back of a rifle, a mug, whacked you with his glow sticks... several times, and has back handed you on various occasions from swinging his arm backward to give everyone hand signs.
He also tried to move a broom and has literally swept you off your feet. Thinking he just knocked something over until he goes to check the sound of what may have fallen.
Also, when you have tried to scurry off duty by him, there have been occasions he has got your hair caught in his equipment, pulled it, and kept walking not even noticing he was dragging you until a body hit him.
He started finding your situation amusing / concerning and started using it as an excuse to not be around larger groups of people. He wasn't opposed to talking to them, but since he kept running into your disorganized ass... why not spend some time with you and occupy himself in other ways.
Nothing romantic, he just couldn't keep still and you were becoming entertaining to him in your encounters when you did not see him around a corner.
This Colonel has checked in multiple times with your team on how you are in the field and found out that though you are clusterfuck in the barracks and out, it tends to work for you when you're out... and are around flammable materials.
You were the team's tracker / hunter and was a damn good one if they were to say anything about it. (This would probably explain why you were so quiet when walking and would be so close to people when getting by unnoticed. Problem was, you were too good around taller people and since you did not see any of the taller people in your unit as an impending problem you would linger too long in their blind spot before being trampled.)
Nonetheless, he would try to train you more. That way you would be more predictable to him and you essentially became his mini me. (However, it turned more into him being the black cat in the relationship and you being the orange cat.)
---
When you first started to prevent getting in trouble with König, you would jump up or away for the first few times and freakingly go to salute him. Looking like you just heard the sound of 20 bombs go off on 80 soon to be dismembered bodies.
You would be tempted to make jokes and snap back, but the command in his voice would warrant a rain check.
At some point, depending on how aware he was when you were around and what he would say and do after would be a good indicator of his mood.
After you got over the interactions more, you would say things like
“Heh heh heh *cackle* You missed me.”
“I can see why you're not a sniper.”
“I didn’t think they put a new rack of equipment there? Looks like it missed me that time.”
Of course, you would salute first before saying these things, but still would get smoked for these afterwards since it was not an appropriate way to address a colonial and you still almost ran into him — again. But he was laughing under the mask while doing it and you learned to accept your fate.
---
König tries to take things slower around you, as you have too many random bursts of energy and may hurt yourself… or him if he is also rambunctious around you.
The only time he may commit to his own chaos is if you are seevveeraal arms lengths away.
He instead waits for you to be rambunctious. (This method seems to distract his anxiety enough over time that he gets very comfortable around you as a monitor and Colonial.)
He has also gotten better about getting out into social situations. As whenever you two are walking together, you tend to say greetings to people you know or try to get an itinerary from people to get others prepared in your unit to save time by prior planning. (Your foresight is something he gets encouraged by for you to stay and flourish in your position)
He gets indirectly introduced to people and seeing you tend to keep the conversation on track and predictable, social situations end up being more enjoyable with you more than by himself or with anyone else.
He starts creating situations that would call for you to be an icebreaker with him more and more until you're tied to the hip semi-naturally.
---
When in a room with König while training you tend to sit up high on top of the vending machines or mats to make your presence known. At first, he ignored you since you were staying out of the way and wouldn’t care if you disappeared from the spot in the beginning.
However, as you have run into each other more, if he does not see you in your usuals spots he will start to panic and move very slowly until you are located within the crowd of soldiers.
There have been a few occasions, he has had everyone line up in specific areas so he can keep a path clear for him and relocate you.
However, this system has failed him a few times and he has ended up getting aggravated and setting you, personally, above mat stacks and vending machines himself, telling you not to get down unless someone has brought you back to the floor.
You decided to be an ass one time and responded in German (only words you knew he wanted to hear from you from when you were being smoked). He decided that would be how you respond from now on.
---
If you guys haven't seen each other because of being on a mission, it would start to become tradition for you two to bicker and revert to old dynamics between you to.
You: “What don’t give me that long face. I missed you so much, I just wanted to give you a return hug.”
König: "Wow, you manage to duck under the sniper bullets and live. Looks like I have trained you well."
You: "Well damn, I can see that China’s missing there wall"
König: "They said I couldn’t be a sniper."
---
One time, you tied bells to your uniform, so he could hear you from afar. He immediately told you to take them off and that was not combat appropriate. But after you two kept running into each other, you tied them to him and he started laughing. (At this point if someone had a problem with you, he would handle the smoking endeavor and since you decided to bring bells into the mixture. The sessions intentionally had the objects involved at times.)
Another time, you peaked around the corner before walking around it cause you thought you felt his weight through the floor or his booming voice around the corner laughing at something someone had said.
He flicked your head after seeing you in the reflection of a nearby object and made you act it out as a sniper getting you. He made you go to a funeral with your team and afterwards made you all sleep in separate one inch propped open caskets.
When König was monitoring you guys, he learned you were not only an idiot walking around corners, but also when you move in your sleep.
---
One day, he overheard you talking with another operative as you were preparing to go back to work out of the mess hall about how you are 'not short' and that you are in fact average height. Everyone else was just overgrown. Your theory was that people of a taller stature needed people who were shorter to grab things in small crevices and get into holes to clear them, meanwhile smaller people didn't need any help from another person, and when needing help could just grab a stool.
"Taller people are not needed, they are wanted."
"They are the defective height and too overgrown for society, but since there are so many of them we have to accommodate. Otherwise shorter people are superior—"
*Thump*
Guess who you ran into?
I feel like if he were pissed or feeling sadistic, there would be little to an extreme amount of humor with this man at that moment. Seeing he does not want to run into people and deal with a concussion. He would definitely throw you into a hole after that and tease / barrage you into how short you could be. Only letting you out once you asked for help. He might continue on occasions by putting you in various situations to show your body type weakness in an attempt to cut out your complex. Not too intensely or too bullylike, but enough to highlight to you, you were "short" and needed to watch your shit.
If he was in a good mood, he would just laugh and mumble something in German before giving you some form of leniency. Later, if he or another person were smoking you for being in people’s blind spot, he will have you do an extra set of workouts just to keep his points far and consistent. (not as many as he would usually have you do for it though)
About two months after your shorter, taller argument, you got a vehicle stuck in the mud and could not get it out. He laughed and was an asshole demanding that you do something about it. He was meaning it in fun, but he made himself come off authoritative.
But after an hour of you seeing you were too small and would not be able to get it out, you yelled at him for not helping, being impractical, and making it worse by sitting in the vehicle. You also told him that if he was not a Colonel and would take off his rank right then and there, you would fight him (but we are totally gonna ignore that, right?). He single handedly moved it himself after that.
He wanted to get the move on, but still wanted to teach you a lesson to cut your shit. However, learning that did not work but made your eight foot one shadow come out to play, he decided it was best to motivate your energy elsewhere.
---
Sometime in your time being an operative around him, he was put on a case with you where you were working on hunting down a war criminal.
There was an instance in the mission when he was lecturing you on the aircraft about your performance in the field and how you were not to go into holes without giving everyone enough prep time to be prepared to back you up in case something happened while you were in there.
This occurred after a spur of the moment transition from you to clear a tunnel area. You thought you were doing the natural clear cut thing to do, but apparently you should have given more warning and paused for everyone to settle in. (NOTE: you WERE NOT used to working with that many people up close!)
Anyways, you guys hit turbulence and he was heavy enough that he didn’t go anywhere. You on the other hand went flying. He saw it coming and caught you, planting you firmly and passive aggressively in the seat next to where he was sitting.
Seeing handing you something heavy to hold or put on your back while you could help everyone strap down the contraband on the aircraft would create possibly two flying projectiles, your Colonel ended up forcing you to strap in as everyone else handled the cargo or confiscated contraband.
For the rest of the plane ride, he was fuming.
---
He has gotten very impressed by how destructive you are in the field and will let you off your leash when needed. Otherwise you are on his hip and are not to move unless directed.
---
For Christmas, you got the higher ups a small object each catered to a theme about them (if you knew them well enough). After all, it did not seem like a lot had family to celebrate with and it seemed like a small gesture that would not overstep too many boundaries...
But for König, you also got him and you a tracking bracelet. That would show where your positions at any given time. The bracelets would also vibrate if you got within a certain proximity to each other.
He thought this was really fun and clever, but most importantly a breach of security if worn inside the facility.
After considering all the ways he could mess around with you with it. He decided to smoke you again when you got back from leave.
The oversized teddy bear still put it on and wore it. Afterall, he was a little worried about giving you a concussion.
---
After a while he does not smoke you as much and just gives you disappointed dad sighs or grumbles. As if you have really done something he knows smoking won’t fix.
Instead, he will just lift you onto a tall object and walk away letting your complex take over from there...
---
Just please keep your temper in and don’t throw anything at his helmet.

Captain John Price
You get tasked to work with Task Force 141, but before coming to work with them you had injured your knee and was walking with a limp. Nothing too severe, but enough to be noticeable and irritating.
As you were reviewing files on the floor and stretching, Captain Price got out of his meeting and very warmly tells you to be careful.
You just say with warmness back, "Yes, dad."
From that point on, it was a thing for you to call him dad in different situations and get on him about his age. Ghost has teased him and called him it to off missions and Soap attempted. Soap was only allowed to without being corrected when Gaz joined in on the temporary fun.

Soap and Cooking You Food
I feel like Soap would be interested in cooking more food than usual for you so he can watch you do your happy food dance.
Like he would see it once and find it amusing, but after you have done it a few times in front of him he would strive to make it an achievement to give you happy food constantly. If you were not dancing or doing your little butt wiggle, then he would figure you needed a nap or were not destressed enough when you sat down to eat with him.

John “Soap” Mactavish with a Book Partner
If you read books around this man, I feel like he would absolutely love watching you and if they were smutty enough, he would love to participate. I think if the book was interesting enough, you may surprisingly get him to participate, but I do not think he would be as interested and invested past your interest in reading. I do not think he has ADHD brain and would not be able to focus, have trouble following along, or not be able to sit still with it. I just feel like he may not be as interested in reading as you are and may prefer more hands-on activities. However, he would still try and succeed in what you are trying to receive from him when you are discussing your books.
I think you two would complement two completely different worlds to each other and when you guys really get comfortable, you will be such a warm combination of passionate souls.

Task Force 141 and a New Pet
You were on your way back from an outing with your friends when a dog ran into the road. Seeing no one was behind you, you had the opportunity to swerve around to not hit em’. Despite knowing you could not take him back to the barracks with you, you urgently took him into your car. This hairless, rugged looking Border Collie looked like he needed several good meals and needed to be taken to the vet. After several hours in the veterinarian’s office, you had to text your Captain what was going on, but first you wanted a buffer.
(Y/N): Have I ever told you how great of a person you are…
Ghost: What do you want?
(Y/N): What if I told you we could have a new mascot for the unit.
Ghost: Bloody hell, (Y/N), do not bring a pet to the barracks.
You sent Soap a picture and told him to show Simon (you new if he was on board, this would be easy). Afterwards, you had a long phone call with him and Simon as Price overheard and tried to convince you how the dog needed to stay with the vet and if they recommended putting him down then that may be what is best for the dog.
You had told him that it would be better if you guys took care of him and so long as his tail is wagging it's his silent choice to have a better continued life and that if we were to make decisions for him based off of surface level wounds and not nonexistent terminal problems while he is still trying to put in effort for his own personal purpose, then you should have just left him on the side of road.
You firmly believed that this dog was letting you know it wanted to keep living by just how much he was still spreading and trying to conjure love and affection for himself and from you. None of the wounds would not be good as new with work. The dog was healthy apart from the trauma and if the dog was a main contributor and indicator it was possible for him to go back to full health, you just viewed it as being lazy not to try while it was in your possession.
Ghost surprisingly showed up with Price as you were talking with Soap and Gaz on the phone. After the dog sat in Price's lap, he asked how much the vet bill would be and the rest was history.
He eventually went to one of his old military buddies that retired and owned land.

Captain John Price with a Book Addict
Your not a genre specific reader. Sometimes you will be all over the place constantly and other times you may stick to a genre for several months before switching patterns.
Price would be impressed by how much you read and how many books you have in your home. He would love to listen to how passionate you are about books that you are interested in and are currently reading. He would take note of the ones that you have read and have been looking to read for future reference of any souvenirs he could nab you on his way back from a mission or deployment. Of course, he never had them be the sole gift type for what he brought back to you. Chocolates, teas, and other goodies you two could enjoy together were involved in his bounty.
When you leave your book behind, Price would 100% skim through it to understand what has been in your mind and has definitely noticed that the way you think can be altered slightly based on what you have read, are, reading, or are not reading atm. Which is why he picks up what you have been working on so he can understand you more and get you to cut your shit if your being one. It would be a great change of pace for him and he would absolutely love it.
If any of your books are smutty. He would be reading that for the psychopathy of the characters and understanding any of the 'hints' you can give from the spicy chapters. I would think he would surprise you in how much he would retain from those books. Not in detail, but in cross correlation between the important ‘things’ and what your body likes vs. what the characters in the book had done.
Ultimately, he would adore you and could not think of anything more beautiful than looking up from his cup of tea in the morning and seeing you with glossy eyes in a new read.

Miscommunicated Napoleon Complex
König, Price, Soap, and Ghost
You show your shorter person complex to some higher ups who would discipline you to show you you need an overgrown human in your life. They may take your comments as a problem to your team, rather than a personality trait that knows its place.
One day, he overheard you talking with another operative as you were preparing to go back to work from the mess hall about how you are 'not short' and that you are in fact average height. Everyone else was just overgrown. This was coming from everyone teasing you that you would need to be carried over things and watched carefully when on missions to ensure they do not lose you or that you are not locked in a storage container cause no one saw you in there. Your theory was that people of a taller stature needed people who were shorter to grab things in small crevices and get into holes to clear them, meanwhile smaller people didn't need any help from another person, and when needing help could just grab a stool.
"Taller people are not needed, they are wanted. So, technically… I would not need any of MY team members and their height to accomplish the mission" Seeing they are over your ‘average’ height and you could fair with a miniature group of people your ‘size’ and not there’s. (To note: you are not saying you are a one person army, you know your team is important and need each other to succeed).
"They are the defective height and too overgrown for society, but since there are so many of them we have to accommodate. Otherwise shorter people are superior—"
*Thump*
Guess who you ran into?
PS: You made the mistake of initially looking at him like they were the problem.
________
König
Bad Mood:
I feel like if he were pissed or feeling sadistic, there would be little to no humor with this man at that moment seeing he does not want to run into people and deal with a concussion, plus you said what he thought you said.
I think he would focus on all of the problematic points of this situation all at once, treating everything the same. (The fact that you were not aware and could have gotten injured and been a man down in a situation being a constant point in the future if this situation would not work itself out) but would be entirely taken back by the part of not needing your team members.
He would smoke you and your team together and may do it in a deep enough hole so you would not be able to get out on your own. Only letting you out once you asked for help or told him the whole story from the mess hall.
Witnessing your team's unconfused and humorous connection to your story, he may believe you.
Either that or he would put you in various situations in an attempt to cut out your complex or define it more. Not as a bully, but as a Colonel who is supposed to make sure his teams are able to work predictably together.
It's possible you would never get to explain what you meant and would forever be stuck in his bad graces. However, I would like to think that as soon as he kept calling you short, your other team members would be able to piece together and let him know what you probably meant. (and you better take the opening, they won’t want to do it again). He would eventually get softer in his approach as he gets a better grip on himself, but would still drill the unacceptable attention span to solid objects around you .
You would be skittish to be around him afterwards and he would notice. Only feeling slightly bad, but getting over it in the end if no reputeour was given prior.
You run into him a few more times afterwards. But he just stares and you space out, smile, apologize, and then WaLK ThE fuCk AWaY.
Good Mood:
If he was in a good mood, he would just laugh and mumble something in German before giving you some form of leniency.
He heard you say height and was probably fixated on a good portion of your conversation since that may be a word that he has had to tune in a lot overtime.
Since you are shorter than him and he needs to make sure not to run you over, he has probably watched and observed you enough to know your personality and have seen this argument before or he pays attention to you enough to know this was not malicious and does not fully involve him.
He would take the glare as a wtf moment from you of taking in how big he is. Later, if he saw you being smoked or were not taking directions, he would tax on an extra set of workouts just to keep you aware that he remembers earlier. (not as many pushup or pullups as he would usually have you do for it though).
Either way, he would keep an eye on you to see if you were problematic to the teams that were around you. He would have gotten mad at you like how he was in a bad mood (since his fuse was shorter), but since his fuse was longer in his good moods he was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
If you were in the clear, he would pay no mind to you afterwards except amusingly out of the corner of his eye as your complex unfolded humorously on those around you.
However, if you were a problem, he would talk to who was in charge of you and get a better understanding to make sure you would not be a problem in the field. If you were hard to handle because you lit things on fire too often, he would adopt you. If you have behavioral issues, you can look at the bad mood section again.
Price
Bad Mood:
Would 100% give you the stare down.
Would also go and smoke your ass into repeating that you are short and you need your team.
If you were only repeating what he said and not taking his suggestion to heart (because you're not short), it would be a long night.
Just like König, he would put you in a predicament that showed you the vulnerabilities of your build throughout time and unlike König, he would be putting through this to be a dick and not to put up with your shit. I feel like it would be slightly personal and this ‘grudge’ may be longer placed in him than with König even if you tried to fully explain the situation and he was angry.
However, he may leave you alone after he knows what you meant from you or your team, opening him up to what may have been said. You would have to prove to him what you meant and that you were going to die on this hill respectively before he would respect or question your existence.
He would not be as intimidating to them as König would be. I do not think he would leave the situation be and never have it fixed or explained if he never heard what you had meant though.
On the bright side afterwards, if he ever needed a lighthearted conversation later down the road you would hear him banter with you .
Same with if he was way too harsh and quick to treat you like a horrible, uptight operator when in fact you were a very sweet and sensitive person.
Good Mood:
Would not laugh, maybe huff a bit with a smirk like, humph, ‘Really’? On his face. but would also not like the look on your face.
He would have you drop and give him some push ups and maybe smoke you more. Depending on your attitude would depend on whether he will let it be a warning to watch the ‘tude dude or if it would lead you into bad mood territory.
I think if you were on his good side first and then got onto his bad side, you would be in a whole lot more situations if you broke.
He would have you clean shit and do private based punishments to prove a point in the aftermath of it all.
I think if you have training more with him after he let you live, he would either see through you, call you short and get the past spheal (and piece together what you meant), or target you into his bad side / amused side.
Either way, you caught his attention and he seems like the type of keeping track of those around him.
Soap
Bad Mood:
If this man was in a bad mood and ran into you, I feel like he was not paying attention to what happened before right away and may not have realized anything wrong. He and König have an excuse of not paying attention to their surrounding. König thinking in Austrian and Soap being straight minded.
He may say something and tell you to fix your face, but he will keep going.
He would watch you like a hawk afterwards and make sure that you kept up with your team, as I could see his brain piecing it together later as he wonders what the expression was for.
If he is training with your unit, he may go behind your back and remove the stools in an area just to casually ask you ‘what's wrong, are you too short’ to see your response.
After your outburst, he would have the full story and would playfully banter with you to the extent you earn a nickname and new big brother.
Pick one: ‘Pippin’, ‘Napoleon”, or “Nugget”
Good Mood:
If he is in a good mood, and you run into each other. You have soiled it.
He is immediately in your face saying ‘what the hell did you just say’, asking for an explanation and you better decide to die on your hill to diffuse that situation.
He would just start laughing after he leaves the wtf era of what you're saying and would join the conversation.
Would continue to explore the conversation out of sheer amusement.
This man would probably see right through the situation after a little bit and realize you were semi fucking around with this height concept, but that you were entirely focused on its core values.
Soap would not just remove your “stool” once, but every chance he got. I feel like you could turn this into sibling-like banter within his leadership.
Definitely getting a nickname afterwards.
Ghost
Bad Mood:
Let’s face it, he was probably with Soap and was one of the reason why Soap was distracted.
Unless both of them were brain dead silent and were just listening to their surroundings as they were going from one place to another. As to which case, good luck.
They either don't wanna deal with you or see right through you and do not see that you are theirs to handle.
They would question it though and you would be smart enough to clarify. They both would just pause at you and continue.
They would probably berate you later on 'your delusional state of mind'.
If he is alone, he would probably see through you eventually through your explanation, but would wanna order you around to test your listening ability and whether you follow orders accordingly.
After he sees what you really meant he may lose temporary interest and walk away.
If he is even more skeptical or cautious, you're with him for the week if he is that suspicious at first, but then he will realize you're like Soap and he won’t be able to get rid of you.
Essentially, he never is able to live this moment down as much as you are, but now he has ammunition against you. But he still fucked up.
Good Mood:
If he is in a good mood, I do not see him being the one to jump down your throat for this just yet, especially since I think parts of his moods are a baseline of calm until provoked by acts that while become aggressive.
He may take note of what you said and the look on your face for future reference, psychopathy, reference, and evidence. But he gives you an opportunity to explain what he heard and to fix your face.
Once it's explained and fixed, he will walk away and say your ‘fucking short’. Afterwards will be giving you side banter in the later interactions between you two.
Has nicknamed you ‘Napoleon’ behind closed doors (Soap, sold him out by thinking that was your name)
“You still think you're 6 '3”, 180 pounds? (he knows your American ass can’t convert to cms or kgs)
“What countries have you conquered recently?”
“Bloody hell, who the fuck let you of the island.”
“Someone seems moody. Do we need to banish you before you steal all the ammunition and tanks?”
“Where is the rest of your minion army?”
"Grumpy is in the house."
"Call St. Helena, she needs to take you back home."
