Back at it again with more concept art for a comic I really want to write. I sorta rushed it in the end because Lord was this taking forever between exhaustion and work.

This is just a little comic page that I thought I'd put the entire kind of concept of the story in. Really hoping the use of colour actually gets the feeling across, but I do wish I had left the first few panels more "normal".

I drew this a bit ago. I don't know which I prefer so I'm hoping some people might be willing to tell me the one they like.

I drew it to explore a bit more of my character, Jupiter's, powers and how I want to draw them. Also been drawn to light a lot lately, so I'm trying to study the hell out of it.

Exploring the blood bending portion of Malachi's powers while also enjoying some new stylistic choices. Hope the story elements comes across clearly.

Between the line of good and evil, my legs weaken. I collapse, for it feels you've forsaken me. Reaching and clawing at my heart are the hands of those I have failed and those who seek to control me. When will you save me? Am I doomed to fight alone?

The mind is a cruel and unrelenting being. Every day I see myself in the mirror I feel like I'm looking at a monster. I contort and shift within those glass confines, a human no more.

My hair sits on my head, thin and too short for my face. My ears reach out, and yet I never hear the things I need to. My neck stretches so high, yet I still grip flesh folds and fat pockets in my hands. No matter how long I go without eating, my belly distends like an alcoholic. Maybe if I remove my organs, I'll finally have a stomach worth looking at. My chest falls forward and jiggles with each step, a simple blade might do the trick. My arms flap with loose and useless flesh, my wrists so thin in comparison it's like looking at a tree hanging from my shoulder blades. But where the branches are meant to be stand small nubs I can only call sausages. My thighs are mutilated and deformed, all the hatred I've ever felt is painted permanently on my skin.

I look at my face once more, raccoonish circles label me distressed, drool leaks from my permanently open mouth as I continue to speak even when those around me have checked out of the conversation. "Shut up, you ugly thing. Go finish the job you've started time and time again."

This guy refuses to conform to consistency.

Jupiter (Live Like Legends) has the ability to both generate and control electrical currents. But damn is it hard to control something that even the havens fail to.

Currently trying to figure out how to use colour to invoke feelings.

I've been holding on to these ocs for about five years now. Limbatus and Jupiter (left and right on the bottom panel) probably will go through a few more passes of character design before I'm happy, but Agelaius (the brooding one) is feeling really good imo.

Who knows what future me will think, though.

Redrawing an old digital drawing from like....2021? Wow, four whole years of improvement. This was actually just an excuse to draw from a reference I had studied the day before. I wanted to see what I remembered from it. I also tried to work on contrast for this. The next thing I really need to work on is lighting. Anyway this is actually an old persona back when I had a basic emo mine crafter phase where electric blue and black became my everything.
