"Of course."

"So Danny wanted a cape, which, let's face it, is perfectly understandable."

"Perfectly understandable."

"Yeah, it's understandable. And, you know, I told him about my Night Bird costume, but guess what, Kurt, we couldn't find it anywhere. We'll have to look for it later. So we got a new cape. Two of them. Two capes."

"Right off the curtain rail?!"

"It's called recycling."

"No, it's called a CURTAIN. Which should be in the window, not on your back."

"But we hated that curtain anyway..."

"I did not hate it! Fine, I hated it. But it was a gift, for God's sake."

"An ugly one, and these are your words."

"It doesn't matter. Okay, it matters. But if Carole doesn't see it up there the next time we video call, she's going to be offended. And she has every reason to be. I don't want to hurt her feelings, Blaine."

"Kurt..."

"What was your plan? How am I supposed to explain to her that my husband cut the curtain so our kid could be a superhero? No offense, Blaine, but your explanation needs some polishing! Okay, I have to admit it's a cute story for friends, but..."

"Kurt!"

"What?"

“Carole would never be mad at Danny. Especially not because Danny thought this BEAUTIFUL fabric would be just PERFECT for him to wear as a cape. Look at him, he loves it. We saved it.”

“From what? Hanging on the rail all day?”

“...knowing that everyone hates it. Yeah.”

“You’re such a dork…”

“It just has a new purpose now, Kurt."

"Recycling."

"Recycling. And you know what the best part is?"

"The fact that you two managed to save the city?"

"Sure. But also, we can finally buy a new curtain."

The Best of Batman!!!

Here’s my guide of the best Batman stories in film and TV.

I’m going the skip the theatrical serials because they are terrible and racist.

So that means our first example is

The 1966 TV Series

This series is a comedy that often made direct adaptations of comic book stories of the day. The reasoning being that the comic stories were so absurd that adapting them straight from the page would be perfect for yuks. Ironically despite making fun of the source material, this means that it’s also one of the most straightforward and accurate adaptations of the adventures of the Caped Crusader.

Most stories are at least two parts so for each I’ll name all the episodes that encompass them separated by a “/“.

Hi Diddle Riddle/Smack in the Middle

Batman is set up by the Riddler and is in danger of being forced to reveal his secret identity in court. But what is the riddler’s real plan?

The Joker is Wild/Batman is Riled

The Joker is tired of being bested by Batman and decides to create a utility belt of his own!

Instant Freeze/Rats Like Cheese

Batman must deal with his guilt over causing mad scientist Mr Freeze to be cursed with a condition that means he can’t survive outside of subzero temperatures. Meanwhile Freeze himself plots his revenge.

The Joker Goes to School/He Meets His Match the Grisly Ghoul

The Joker plots to corrupt the youth of Gotham by giving them free lunch. Batman must teach the children about the magic of capitalism. (Yes this is satire).

The Curse of Tut/The Pharaoh’s in a Rut

A man convinced he is actually the reincarnation of the ancient Pharoah Tut, goes on a crime spree, and forces Batman to dance!!!

The Movie

The Joker, The Penguin, the Riddler, and even Catwoman team up to make a bid for world domination.

Hot off the Griddle/The Cat and the Fiddle

Catwoman disguises herself as a senior citizen to perpetrate the purrrrfect crime.

Hizzoner the Penguin/Dizzoner the Penguin

The Penguin and Batman campaign against each other in a race for mayor of Gotham.

Surfs Up, Joker’s Under

The Joker and Batman compete in a surfing competition.

The Funny Feline Felonies/The Joke’s on Catwoman

Catwoman and the Joker team up to hunt for treasure. Catwoman knows it’s likely they’ll be caught, but she has the best lawyer in the business on her side.

Return of the Caped Crusaders

An animated reunion film made many years after the show went off the air. All of Batman’s enemies team up to defeat Batman by undoing his very being!

i can see him as a caregiver and a regressor

i think we would LOVE playing pretend, especially superheros and pirates. he would want to go outside and explore, probably interview/spy on grown ups, asking them all kinds of questions. i think he would also like reading comics, watching superhero shows, and play fighting. i think he would be SO fun to play with but have too much energy. as a caregiver i think he would do EVERYTHING for you and be very encouraging. i KNOW he believes in santa (he told me trust)

I finally named my ocs the one in the ponytail is Mistress Mirage (her actual name is Clara). Then the girl with her hair down is Aquasurge (and her name is Wendy). I also decided that they'll be dating, I'll be working on their backstories and personalities. Then I'll start posting more on them soon along with my first oc (She's not a superhero nor in their universe but I just didn't want her to get stolen. So I didn't post her first, I'm not saying I don't care about these two ocs I love them alot. I just wanted to post their journy and character development online since it would be more fun to watch than a character that I already fully developed.
