just saw a post on pinterest saying how they think tanning can go too far sometimes.. like in a weird/rcta way.. like what??

unless they were talking about artificial tanning—i can kinda see the point there—or like blackface, which is absolutely bad, then that is absolute bullshit. when you’re out in the sun a lot, your skin tans. that is literally a normal thing that skin generally does, and even if you’re trying to get a tan, there’s no such thing as a natural tan ‘going too far’. like please be for real what do you MEAN 😭

this may be an unnecessary post.. however the thing is is that i have OCD. i’m white but a small part native american, (my mom’s side of the family comes from a native tribe) and so my skin tans very easily. i’m sorry but i am not going to be made to have an OCD spiral about the way my skin naturally tans 😭

i’m PMS-ing, and i made the unfortunate mistake of looking too far into the comments section of an analog horror, and my OCD is pretty bad..

anyways my emotions are all over the place and i’m starting to get really guilty all of a sudden about my whump writing and i’m just really angry and upset and stressed out. 0/10 i do not recommend 😭

every time i go on tiktok i am reminded of why i stopped using tiktok -_-

so apparently there’s this trend going on where people like, show off their very dirty rooms. is this the best of trends?? no, probably not, but the problem here are the people who are making fun of the trend.

they’re not even saying anything vaguely useful, they’re just being blatantly ableist and saying nasty things about people who can’t clean their rooms. plus there were also pick-me’s who were like, ‘i have depression but my room was never this bad 😟’ and like??

i am happy for these people that they have CLEARLY never had to deal with something like this. but it sucks that they lack the basic empathy to understand that maybe other people are having a hard time??

i personally really struggle with keeping my room clean. i’m autistic and have severe executive dysfunction, so it’s really hard to get around to it. plus even when i do try to clean it, i tend to get to a certain point where i look around, and the room’s still messy but i actually can’t figure out what to do with it next to make it clean.

so yea!! some people are like me and struggle with executive dysfunction, other people are neurodivergent or physically disabled and have a very limited capacity on what they can do in a day, some people are severely depressed.. and what all of these different types of people have in common is that they have bigger things to worry about!! like SURVIVING!!!

people who struggle with these things deserve help, ACTUAL HELP, not tiktokers shaming them for things that are out of their control!!! telling someone ‘that’s gross’, or ‘get help 💀’ IS NOT HELPING THEM. IN FACT IT’S PROBABLY DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD. MAYBE TRY ASKING THEM IF THEY’RE ALRIGHT??? RECOMMENDING RESOURCES??? LITERALLY JUST SCROLLING WOULD BE BETTER THAN SAYING SOMETHING NASTY TO A MENTALLY ILL PERSON.
