I apologize for this letter coming out of the blue but I think it’s something very important that we should talk about.

I saw some things you had written down in a notebook about yourself, I must say I am very surprised and sad to find out that you think these things of yourself.

I… I can’t really comprehend what could’ve happened to make you think of yourself in this way, maybe someone told these things to you or convinced you that they were true.

If this was caused by someone, I can no longer guarantee their safety.

 

Either way, I want you to know that those things are not true. You have no reason to hate yourself, everyone makes mistakes because everyone is human.

Blew up my phone the other day so I have to write this stupid letter. This isn’t for some mushy romantic reason so don’t go getting that idea in your head.

You seemed to be struggling in class these past few days so you’re making me worry about you.

I know that you have ADHD so I have deduced that this is the reason for your struggling.

You don’t have to act like you’re fine all the time, everyone needs help at one point or another because we’re all human. 

You aren’t incompetent for needing a little extra help sometimes. And you shouldn’t feel insecure about your hyperactiveness or personality, I mean I like you so that goes for something.

So, I have noticed that you seem very mature and cool all the time.

I also notice that a lot of people compliment you one it like "oh y/n your so mature for your age!" and "y/n is so composed and cold, it's like their mind is older then their body"

 I think those people don't know the real you. I don't think they know your story. Nobody is really born like that, at least not to a certain extent.

 I think you need to hear that it's okay to goof off and act your age.

They don't see you silently scolding yourself for goofing off.

 You don't have to be composed and you don't have to be older then you actually are. Its okay to be yourself, it's okay to be a kid. You'll have FOREVER to be an adult, but you're only a kid once. So enjoy it!
