When starting this program, one must understand something. This is not just another series to binge watch or pass the time, this is an experience. You tune in for the laughter and quirky animation, but you stay for the characters and lore. This amazing experience somehow captivates and moves you in only 2 short seasons, spanning 40 episodes. Sure, you may have a favorite character or 2, but you end up falling in love with every monster, crazy towns person, and adventure you encounter on your journey through Gravity Falls, Oregon. But, with any experience, there’s a price. Not one in which you pay out of pocket, no. It’s one paid for with mind, body, and soul. Embarking on this adventure may seem easy, but the price is real. No matter how many times you visit, you always leave a piece of yourself behind. The price is always the same. One might ask, “Is it worth it… Is all the emotions you feel when taking this adventure worth it?” My answer will always be the same… Yes. But, don’t take my word for it. Take the words of a young man named, Dipper Pines. “If you’ve ever taken a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, you’ve probably seen a bumper sticker for a place called Gravity Falls. It’s not on any Maps and most people have never heard of it. Some people think it’s a myth, but if you’re curious, don’t wait. Take a trip, find it, it’s out there, somewhere in the Woods waiting.”
See you next summer.

Lost Within
Sometimes I get lost within myself. The outside world increasingly becoming quiter the further I stray into my own subconscious. My anxiety so overwhelming I enter a passive state of confusion. I am alone in a room full of people, unable to cry for help.

Prelude of a Descent
“It’s just one step.”,
She said to herself.
Clinching the railing behind her.
A night so cold she saw her breath,
her note neatly lay written on the shelf.
A step was taken,
She sought release.
Alas, she was mistaken,
For all she felt was remorse and grief.

Prisoner
My mind is a prison,
I long to be free.
I’ve committed no crime,
But am sentenced to life.

Driving in the Rain
You know when it's raning outside and you drive under a bridge? That peaceful second of silence; I live for that.
