My friend just graduated high school after doing grade 12 three times and I’m so proud of them yet I’m even more proud of their achievements outside of school cause that’s what really matters :)

shout out to the kids who worked their asses off in school and still got Cs, Ds, and sometimes Fs. who were overjoyed to get a B. who were pretty sure they got an A on a test once, a few years ago, maybe.

shout out to the kids who dropped out. kids who couldnt focus on school because they had other shit going on in their lives. kids who just couldn’t get themselves to care. kids who had disabilities or other barriers to their learning.

Listen to the TMA trans folks around you. Uplift their voices so they can tell you where you’ve messed up.

Transmisogyny can be more complex than terf rhetoric. It can be fetishizing, denying some forms of its existence, and centring other trans voices over others for example.
