I #neverpost anymore, so I thought I’d catch everyone up on our journey to Florida in one long mega-post 😂. We made the trek cross country from Colorado to South Florida to live where we felt called. Along the way our church @thesanctuarychurchcos prayed us out. We’re so thankful for the love and support. I started my new job @24hfboyntonbeach as Fitness Manager and it’s been a blast! My manager @epj007 is awesome. We started attending a new church @revealfellowship and we’re really liking it. We’ve been to the @lakeworthbeachpbc once and it was glorious!! I went to @palmbeach.par3 to play golf, getting back into the “swing of things”. And have started as a co-host on the @theallianceblog podcast. I’ve lost 14 pounds thanks to @ifbb_dgonetoe . Also Jessi is loving life here. So we’ve been busy. So thankful for everyone who has been a supporter of mine and @melodyfrazier2019’s journey. October has been a great month. Our wedding celebration with our family here in Colorado was such a blessing. I’m so honored to have met such a great group of friends. It seems we've garnered the attention of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church. Local news stations and WBC's own website have reported The Sanctuary Westside as a target for demonstration October 13th, 2019. So here is our plan thus far: _
1) We will continue to be a church for the margins and mis-fits regardless of opposition. Because church isn't where you go but who you are! _
2) We will take a PURELY NON-ENGAGEMENT posture on Sunday, Oct. 13th- just church as normal... well, maybe with an extra boost of worship! _
3) We are a church that blesses our city not curses it! So we are committing $50 per every WBC protester to prove our point (a minimum of $1500) divided between 3 organizations: 1- The Crawford House (for Veterans), 2- The Dale House (for at risk youth), 3- a Southside African American Church (to remain nameless for their protection) _
4) Other churches have graciously offered extra security people for our safety and sanity that day. _
5) We will have a "TSC family meeting" Wed. October 2nd at 7pm to answer questions and provide further details. Keep in mind, just because we are targeted doesn't mean they will follow through. Even if they do, it is likely to be a smaller group of demonstrators than the media often portrays. But we will prepare, pray, and be present regardless. _ PLEASE NOTE:

There’s no way 10 photos can sum up the life changing experience that was my trip to Accra & Kumasi, Ghana (Africa). All I can say is how grateful I am for the opportunity and what an honor it was to serve such a beautiful and wonderful place with more beautiful wonderful people. The three things Ghana is known for is Gold, Cocoa, and Friendly People. The latter is so true. The heartbeat of this nation is kindness. Jesus said to Go, so we went to the city, the village, the church, the prison and the orphanage. Each received us with love, and we returned in kind.
