Hi there, I am a 30 year old Singaporean who enjoys the outdoors, reading and running. Passionate about nature, animals, and loves adventure. My husky, Scotty has left me but I know he is heaven now. He is my little brother and one of the best things I had in my life. I also have some of my photos and writings here and there. Love, adventure, nature and exploration:) sums up who I am. Lane represents me.

A little juvenile Sunda Colugo aka Malayan Flying Lemur (Galeopterus variegatus) peering from the underside of its mum :) Nocturnal and arboreal, colugos spend their day resting on tree trunks, becoming more active during the night gliding from tree to tree. Their diet consist on leaves and young shoots. It was nice to see them during a nature walk, didn't find the target but got to see this little one.

avatar: the last airbender but make it more south & southeast asian ❤️
inspired by the preexisting but somewhat lesser known references to S&SEA culture in avatar’s worldbuilding, i wanted to showcase a few of the many outfits that originate from this diverse region that i’m proud to be from! i’m still no expert, but learning more and drawing this has made me so joyful and appreciative of our cultures 😌

Mundane sunsets 🌇
The simple everydays
Stillness from the tumultuous
For peace, should be treasured
Blessed, we have the option of it

I'm happy I got to see the Weedy Seadragons (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus) in the wild at Flinders Pier:)
Last year April I dived at Portsea Pier, Mornington Peninsula I missed out seeing them. I got an opportunity to come back to Melbourne and glad I got the chance to dive again, though a few degrees colder. Thanks to my friends for linking me up with divers @melbourne_uni_underwater_club 🤿
Weedy Seadragons inhabit the coastal temperate waters of Australia at kelp-covered rocky reefs. Same family as seahorses but are larger, more mobile and tend to orient at a more horizontal angle.
For the Seadragon video head over to my other socials:)

#bonesweek12018 Day 4: Favorite “first” anything for a couple/relationship
Cam and Arastoo’s relationship revealed (8x07, The Bod in the Pod)
Under the heavens, fruit floats Love hurts as skin yells with new shoes You are my carburetor
This has extra sentimental value to me as it was also the first episode of Bones I ever watched

Damian always knew he’d die young. He’d been a weak child, gasping and wheezing at the slightest exertion, turning to books and poetry for the freedom he could not find running and playing with the other children. The doctors didn’t expect he’d make it to his eighteenth birthday, so it’s a miracle when he makes it to his twenty-first.
There was only thing he wished for, but it was a selfish desire. To marry her, to marry Sarai, would condemn her to a life as a widow when she was still in the bloom of her youth. And he couldn’t do that. He couldn’t burden her, shackle her. He loved her too much.
Yet she asked him to marry her anyway.
The fear returns when he learns she’s expecting. What if his child, his little miracle, is born with his lungs? Sarai says she can only hope they are born his heart.
Damian dies when he is twenty-five, and Sarai is left a widow. But even with his final, painful breath, he cannot regret loving her. He cannot regret Callum.
Perhaps one day he will bring to the world the light he brought to his father’s life.

Rayllum Month Day 13: You’re The Moon In My Sky "Love and trust grow a kind of strength that is much bigger than we each possess. To have that kind of strength, it's not enough to love someone. You have to trust them to share the burdens you carry."

Horsfield’s / Western Tarsier (Cephalopachus bancanus) during our night walk at the Rainforest Discovery Centre:) on the first day of our trip. This tarsier occurs on Borneo, Sumatra and nearby islands. The uniquely large eyes in proportion to its small body does make it look like an alien 👽 or Gremlin.
These nocturnal primates are only about 12cm for males, and very agile leaping from trunk to trunk with their elongated hind limbs. A fully carnivorous primate that preys on insects, lizards, snakes and even birds and bats.
Second and third are juvenile's photos :)

Hypselodoris tryoni, a common nudibranch in the West Pacific Ocean and like most nudibranch feed on sponges. Nudibranchs are truly the prettiest gastropods (maybe some bias) and are always intriguing to divers. It was nice to see one and sometimes these nudibranchs are seen on the sponge or hydorid that it is eating. It last dive of that day after all the excitement at Sipadan with Great Hammerhead Shark and deep blue.

My second time seeing a Pygmy Seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), first time I saw one at Tulamben and now this second one at Seaventure House Reef :) thank you to the dive guides for spotting it and letting us know. The Pygmy Seahorse was camouflaging among this large gorgonian coral with its pink tubercules matching the host gorgonian colours. It grows about to about average size 1.4-2.7cm hence the name.
My old tg5 and housing etc had 99 problems but at least it worked this time😅
