NO ONE has a "Robin origin" story other than Dick Grayson. There is NO Robin without Dick. Full stop. 8 yr old Dick watched his beloved parents being murdered in front of his own eyes. 8 yr old Dick was severed from his circus family and sent away to orphanage/juvenile centre in distant murderous city Gotham. 8 yr old Dick grieving and alone, proposed a partnership to the goddamn Batman - at the time a confirmed loner - and got him to change his ways from vengeance to justice. 8 yr old Dick mellowed out a hard despairing nearly 30 yr old going on 8 billionaire and softened him up to snap up random lads.

So no. There is no "Robin origin" more hardcore than Dick's. Even if the greatest Robin Dick isn't your favourite, that's a hard L to insist there is any other origin story that goes as hard.

spideywing fic where peter is a reporter who keeps accidentally getting photos of nightwing around new york instead of himself but decides to sell them to the press anyway, eventually developing an interest in nightwing and deciding to meet him as spiderman, and then they have a whole meet-cute-romcom romance.

And then a fic from Dick's pov, where this asshole reporter keeps on getting photos of him somehow, and he has no idea how, but its ruining his mystique and his reputation as a cryptid. And then he meets spiderman, whos really nice and friendly and funny, and he clearly know the reporter somehow, so dick figures getting close to him to find how the reporter gets photos of him wouldn't be such a bad idea, but then he accidentally falls in love with the guy and then his boyfriend turns out to be the asshole reporter.

Au where Batman’s villains seem to go through a phase where they ALL try to get to him by making him think the first Robin is dead, making him dream his first Robin is dead, make him watch videos where the first Robin gets hurt, etc.

Only dick is Batman rn so he’s just like bro if only the first Robin was dead. I have it on good authority he’d be happier •_•

A bit ago I saw a moon knight/Nightwing hero swap and thought the design was so cool!! I haven't gotten around to drawing moon knight's design yet

I think it'd be much more interesting with adult Spider-Man in Gotham, like do you know how much he went through? There are so many good storylines they could add with a DCx Spider-Man crossover( symbiote somehow ending up in Gotham, green goblin and joker team up, bane and rhino team up, or just black cat and Catwoman mischief) like there are so many good stories from comics spiderman that are not even touched upon in those fics. Spiderman also has been in a different universe before, like I'm sure you can find a reason other than Thanos snap/Dr strange sending Peter there.

I literally need more people to write ADULT spiderman interacting with the batfam. I am tired of the baby boyification Tom Holland ass Spidermen appearing.

Okay, so... Blüdhaven residents caught having Nightwing photobombs on their phones?

Imagine being a resident of Blüdhaven, one brave enough to take photos or even record videos at night for your social media... And when you check a tiktok that you just recorded on a rooftop with the rear camera of your cell phone, you realize that Nightwing was behind you, sometimes he even has fun dancing with you without you realizing it.

Nightwing never shows up when everyone tries to record him, but suddenly, some citizens discover they have a picture of him on their phones.

I see a lot of posts about the Titans seeing Dick as this serious leader at his core, while the Batfam know him for his jokes and easy-going attitude. And I love this, this is great, but I like to headcanon that it kinda goes the other way.

Like, on missions, Dick is straight to the point. Serious. Their leader, but the team knows that, ultimately, that's just a front. He's still their friend. He still lounges around the tower, plays video games with Cyborg and Beast Boy, lets Starfire paint his nails. He fills the role that he needs to, when he needs to, but the Titans have always known that it doesn't exactly come naturally.

Then they see him actually work with Batman, and he smiles... more. Almost manically. He fills the dead silences with quips, he hangs upside down, taunts villains and Batman alike. But that's not his smile, that's not his laugh, that's not him. It's an imperative. Rehearsed to perfection, but they've known him long enough that they can see cracks. He may be filling a role as their leader, but this is a performance. And it's terrifying, because they can't quite parse out the why, just that it is, and they can tell that, behind the performance, there is a creature that is far more serious - far more dangerous - than they ever thought their friend could be.

something's hiding in the dark

i rewatched some mlp infection au's this week and had this brilliant idea of taking one interest and combining it with another (i know, i'm genius) and started cooking up a dc/batman infection au. do you see the vision?????

it is nowhere near done yet, i've barely even started, but i wanted to draw something to spread my agenda. i wish i could have made this a little creepier but man, drawing is hard... practice makes perfect though and i like drawing horror so you might actually see more of this au! me and the (?) other dc infection au fans cheered

y’all know that one superhero? the guy raised in a circus as an acrobat before he became a crime fighter that still did a bunch of flips and parkour and stuff. yknow the resident silly guy on the team? i mean he’s obviously still pretty emo because he’s a superhero but he’s a charming jokester who everyone finds hot. he’s got that black suit with the single V-shaped stripe on his chest? what’s that guy’s name?
