The worst part about DC writers switching up Jaybin's personality is that it's so blatant that they've never picked up a book about him at all. This is a character defining moment, and it is NEVER brought up again.

DC should kill 2 birds with one stone and put Rena in the All Caste. I see Talia trying to pull some shit with Rena to get Jason more on her side, and Ducra latching onto Rena because she has great potential AND the fact that she'd help Jason as much as Jason would help her.

She'd also reign Essence in, which would give us the opportunity to see the All Caste actually in action

The only things that should really change about Jason post-aditf are him killing people and being more open about his negative feelings. Anything else just takes away from the tragedy of his dynamic with Bruce.

The whole point of the red hood is that Bruce is unable to separate him and Jason in his head. This is a man who mastered compartmentalisation. If Jason came back with one thing off about him, then Jason does not exist anymore.

Also, it's a major disservice to Jason himself, making it so his trauma completely rewrote him as a person. Has he changed? Of course, but it's not this huge metamorphosis. The changes are obvious, glaringly so, but ultimately inconsequential to who he is as a person. Same morals, except he now kills people. He's even more angry, but he still enjoys the same hobbies.

His rebirth wouldn't suddenly make him an unthinking brute, but it also wouldn't make him this cold, detached anti-hero. There's never balance to this
