What do you mean the iconic witch hat was born from Glinda's spite and cruelty but became a symbol of her willingness to stand by Elphaba even if it ostracized her from her friends and peers? What do you mean the witch's broom is an item enchanted in a moment of panic and innovation as Elphaba refuses to be cowed and grounded? WHAT DO YOU MEAN the spooky black cloak is a representation of Glinda's selflessness as she wraps it lovingly around Elphaba's shoulders, a threadbare cloak that will maybe, hopefully, keep her best friend (lover) warm? WHAT DO YOU MEAN all these symbols of evil actually represent a deep bond of friendship and love? What do you mean????

The words just aren't coming, or they simply will never come.

I watched The Resident during the pandemic and loved this show so much. With every story and character, I laughed, cried, or worried, and one of those was AJ.

I wasn't prepared to let go of a character from my favorite series, much less was I prepared to let go of an actor from it. Malcolm did a great job portraying AJ. I simply loved his personality. He was very spontaneous, arrogant, but human, and also had his traumas. I loved his story and cried with it.

Now I cry because that actor, who was one of those who made my day, is gone, and with him, a piece of me is broken.

Thank you, Malcolm, for giving me AJ Austin. We will never forget you.

At the beginning of summer I wanted to: start journaling once again, spend more time with my friends, open my heart to love, heal and eat a lot of ice cream.

I stopped journaling after 7 pages, seen my friends like 6 times, locked my heart and threw away the key, gotten worse than before and didn’t eat enough ice cream for my standards.

But I did eat a lot of cake.

season finale review 🔥

Finally watched the season finale of 9-1-1 and, where to start?

Once again the emergency didn’t kept me fully hooked, but I do understand how the consequences of an emergency are pretty much all the same, I feel like my discontent was more due to the season’s progress in general.

I’m happy that Athena and Chimney made up, as much as I know these kind of feelings (resentment, hatred, guilt, confusion) tend to last longer in real life it was nice to see them rejoin and help one another. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Graham you sweetie pie! I’ve adored him since day 1 and I’m really relived he got to survive, he was so selfless and ready to help and give everything and more! Such a kind soul 🥹

I really wish for Ravi to become a main character in season 9 and to get a “Ravi Begins” episode, he’s such an interesting character (the boy’s lore goes crazy!) but it’s merely touched, hope we’ll see more of him! 🥹🫶🏻

I’m also really happy that Eddie and Chris are BACK IN L.A.!!! Can you hear me cheer? 🎉

Things I’m not happy about / I wish didn’t happen / or simply wish they did differently:

Chimney being captain: last time he was captain his colleagues didn’t like him at all and it was shown how he much he wasn’t ready for this role, I understand growth but I feel like that maturity and readiness only came because of Bobby’s premature departure

Buck looking for a new house: we had him live in Eddie’s house for a bit, didn’t see him say goodbye to that apartment and we don’t even get a sneak peek?

Athena selling the house: I get why she would sell it, it was supposed to be a new start but I’m really upset that we got to see the process of it only for it to be discarded away

Chimney and Maddie’s son’s name: Chimney and Maddie had a son and they named him after Bobby. But not only “Bobby Han” as one would’ve imagined given how everything was going (predictable), but “Bobby Nash Han”, I found this to be a bit distasteful, to give him the last name too as a middle name. I always thought it would be more fit for the first son of Chim to be called in honour of Kevin. I think that Buck should name his potential first born son Bobby or Robert in honour of HIS LITERAL FATHER FIGURE.

The people at baby Han’s birth: May and Henry were there, Athena and the 118 too, but where were the Lee family and Albert? Surely they would’ve liked to witness this moment.

Overall as I have stated before this is one of my least favourite seasons of the show, and it pains me to say such thing about one of my comfort shows ever.

It felt disconnected and empty many times.

However the performance of the actors (and the amazing and outwardly Italian dubbers!) was magnificent as always! 👏🏻🫶🏻

Looking forward to season 9, hoping it would be a bit better, really I want to see how everything will go down.

Does anyone know any fic where Sirius is obsessed with Remus? I’m not talking about “I love Remus he’s so lovely and I want to be with him at all times” vibe but more “Sirius stalks Remus and has to know everything about him” vibe.

Like Sirius being a bit of a psycho? Like Joe Goldberg (but without the murd3r1ng of Remus lol).

Please I would really love to read such a characterization of Sirius!

Ep. 17 9-1-1 review ❤️‍🔥

Second-to-last episode of the season already! How did it happen so fast?!

Not going to lie I did think that we were going to witness a massive flood, certainly not expected water that turns into fire 😂

The emergency itself didn’t really kept me hooked that much, but it felt ✨ magical ✨ nonetheless.

Eddie still being in L.A. warms my heart 🥹 (see what I did there?) and he brought Chris back! 😭 He was like “Buck is upset so let’s hand him a kid to fix him” lol

Father Brian made an appearance and I couldn’t be happier, altough I did wish another pop song came out in the booth (I love parallelisms what can I say) it would’ve been iconic 🎶

Everyone is suffering and I alongside them…

Hen refusing the role as Captain doesn’t make sense (very little has this season tbf), she was so good at it! What’s the heck? 🤨

We got Buddie crumbs and explosions.

The finale? Not a faann. But I can’t wait for next week 🫶🏻
