They write really good whump fics. 10/10, highly recommend.
Hi! Some of you may know me, most of you won't - but at the moment I am very much a struggling writer who cannot work because of disabilities. I have just joined fiverr to earn money in order to pay rent and bills. Any pieces you want written - as ABBA once said, take a chance on me!
I will write almost anything - please check the guidelines. I have a list of fandoms I'm familiar with, but I'm open to a bit of research. I also have a set of original characters that I am more than willing to use.
Every little helps. You would be saving my life (and helping me feed my adorable feline ESA! She deserves all the chicken).
Much love,
Parsnip
(P.S. I promise I got the skillz. I have a degree and everything. You won’t be disappointed.)

“Nurse them back to health” is such an underrated phrase. It implies that the whumpee was found on the brink of death and cared for like a wounded stray kitten.
It also implies care beyond the illness/injury itself. Not only is the whumpee’s life saved, but they are rehabilitated physically and mentally.

List of symptoms
I hate having whump fantasies that involve some vague fever that doesn’t have consistent symptoms to make it feel real. Here’s a handy list to flesh out the nature of your whumpee’s illness.
Let’s go:
Dizziness/faintness
Congestion
Sneezing
Coughing
Headache
Muscle aches
Joint aches
Cramping
Exhaustion/lethargy
Shivering
Wheezing/trouble breathing
Sore throat (trouble speaking and swallowing)
Sweating (leads to dehydration)
Flushed and/or pale skin
Delirium (delusions, nightmares, lack of filter, inability to regulate emotions, hallucinations, incoherent speech, confusion)
Nausea/vomiting
Abdominal pain (burning, stabbing, soreness)
Chest pain (burning, stabbing, soreness, tightness)
Pain/pressure behind the eyes
Feeling too hot or too cold
Weakness
Blurred vision
Weight loss (loss of appetite)
Rapid heartbeat
Abnormal breathing (rapid, shallow, panting)
Sensory sensitivity (light, sound, touch, smell, taste)

Big stupid ramble below the cut:
I’ve been informed that the Trevor Project has been doing some union busting, and that the Trans Lifeline might be a better place to donate.
The Human Rights Campaign has also been facing pretty big controversies, though I don’t know of any other charity that carries out the kinds of measures they do, as far as changing laws to be in favor of LGBTQ+ rights.

When they’re too weak to process or form sentences, especially when communication is vital. Caretaker needs to know their symptoms and history, but Whumpee can’t parse, let alone answer what’s being said. Whumpee needs something, but they can’t form the words to request it. Maybe their voice is too thin or painful to be heard.
Also, when a Whumpee is too weak to regulate their emotions or have a filter. They’re miserable, physically and mentally, and crying only saps more of their hydration and energy. They feel guilty for being “too much”.
the weary feverish whumpee aesthetic™
I love it when a whumpee is so weak that they:
are bedridden, much to their discomfort. They long to leave the bed, but cannot because they are too weak, and their legs shake at the thought of taking even a single step.
can't keep their eyes open. Their eyelids flutter but due to tiredness and too much light, they always close again. However, the whumpee has learned to rely on other senses, and is able to recognize the caretaker's voice or touch among a thousand others.
have to always lie down. They try to sit up, perhaps to eat something, but after a few minutes their head starts spinning and their body starts screaming because of the effort. Much to their chagrin, they have to force themselves back down or else they will likely pass out.
are not hungry. Their body can't handle even plain broth, making them queasy and dizzy. So they continue to refuse food, their only source of livelihood, and this obviously worsens their condition.
are too sensitive to touch. Their skin that seems to boil with fever, the bedsheets that rub down their limbs like sandpaper, the hair that sticks to their sweaty forehead, even the simple touch of the caretaker, a touch that is supposed to comfort them. They start to hate all these little things.
Please, feel free to add more.

Whump: food edition
Soup: the classic. Warm, healthy, flavorful, and comforting. A great way to soothe your whumpee’s sore throat, warm them from the inside, decongest their lungs or sinuses, or simply provide nutrition and comfort.
Broth: soup for whumpees who can’t handle any amount of solid food. Maybe they’re barely conscious, their throat is too raw, or they’re too nauseous to handle texture.
Oatmeal and okayu: same food, different grain. It can be made sweet, savory, or flavorless depending on what your whumpee finds more comforting (or can even stomach). Very filling, warm, and versatile.
The BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apples, toast): literally designed for people suffering from extreme nausea.
Smoothies/shakes: the most versatile and efficient of them all. You can put anything in them. A great way to get calories into your whumpee when they need plenty of nutrients for healing wounds, recovering from starvation, or fighting off infections. Easy to drink. Cold smoothies won’t exacerbate a high fever.
Hot milk/hot chocolate: great for hypothermia recovery. Can also be used to comfort a whumpee after a traumatic experience or mental breakdown. It’s the food equivalent of a teddy bear.
