𝙋𝙐𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 into the parking lot of your new job, you get out your car locking it. Hearing the satisfactory beep of your car, you head inside of South Park’s Mental Health Facility. “Ok. First day today!,” you say to yourself, “No need to be nervous.” That was a lie. There is a need to be nervous. But, hey! You got this!

Walking in the Facility, you see a woman sitting at a large white desk. She looks about in her late 40’s and has long black hair with gray streaks in it. She’s wearing a navy blue blouse with pearl earrings and a shiny pearl necklace. She also has a land yard on that has her face and her name. ‘Marie..,’ the land yard says. “Hello…” you say, nervousness lacing your voice. “Oh! Hello!,” she greats, looking up from her computer.

“Can I help you?” She asks, staring deeply at you. “Yes, you can actually! I’m here for the psychologist opening.” You say, smiling brightly. “Ok, Ok.,” she says typing something into her computer, “Can I get your name hun?” The pet name makes you blush a light pink. “It’s Y/n L/n.” “Ok..” she pauses, typing something else in. “Ah! Here you are dearest. Right this way!,” she’s says happily and gets out her large black chair. She starts to walk down a hallway her heels clicking on the ground, you trailing not far behind her. ”This,” she starts, “is the break room. Come here when ever you need a little time to relax.” “Ok. It’s really nice in here!” You compliment. “Oh thank you dearie! We try!” She says and smiles.

She then goes and takes a few files from a small file cabinet. She then walks over to you and hands you the files. “These,” she says, “are your patients and their info. Go ahead and read over these and get to know them a little before you start your first day!” “Ok.” You say and take the files. “Also, my name is Marie. Marie Brown. Nice to meet you Y/n.” She says and holds out her hand for you to shake. “Nice to meet you to Marie.” You say and shake her hand gently. “Welp, I’m gonna give you some time to read over that. Officer Reed will be here to escort you to your first patient’s room after he does his rounds.” She says and walks away, leaving you to yourself. “O-Ok! Thanks!” You shout after her.

”Well.. time to see what I’m dealing with.” You say to yourself and take a seat in one of the break room chairs. Opening the first file you start to read.

‘THIS INFORMATION IS PRIVATE, AND SHOULD NOT BE DISCLOSED WITH ANYONE OTHER THAN STAFF.’ “Ok, that’s a good start.” You continue,

‘NAME: STANLEY MARSH

AGE: 18

HEIGHT: 5’7 (170.18cm)

GENDER: MALE

THREAT LEVEL: 5

COMPANIONS: KYLE BROFLOVSKI, KENNETH MCCORMICK, ERIC T. CARTMAN (SOMEWHAT)

(Stanley Marsh has been in our care for nearly 2 years. Marsh has a criminal record of arson, assault, underage drinking, possession of illegal substances and 2nd degree murder. News articles on the ‘Marsh Family Farm’ incident shows that Stanley burned down his family’s farm, in which was full of marijuana. This resulted in the deaths of his mother, Sharon Marsh, and his older sister, Shelly Marsh. His father then decided to send him here, once he was released from police custody. Upon his arrival, Stanley was overjoyed to find out his best friend since kindergarten, was also in our care. We try to keep the two separate, as they have tried multiple times to escape together. Saying nothing, you then close the file and open another. Starting to read, this one was just nearly as bad as Stanley Marsh’s.

NAME: KYLE BROFLOVSKI

AGE: 18

HEIGHT: 6’0 (182.88cm)

GENDER: MALE

THREAT LEVEL: 4 (WHEN CALM)

COMPANIONS: STANLEY MARSH, KENNETH MCCORMICK

(Ever since Kyle’s arrival, we have observed his behavior and have concluded that he has severe anger management problems. We have tried to give him sedatives to help, but all he does is fight. He even has broken the noses of 3 of our doctors who have tried to administer the medication via oral. So we have resorted to injecting the medicine into his arm. And despite the fight he put up, we were able to safely administer the medication. Once it was administered, we left the room to let the affect of the medication take place. Safe to say, the medication works. Him and Eric Cartman constantly bicker, and as a result, we try to keep the two separate, as them being together could start a brawl between patients. His anger also gets worse with Eric being near him, bringing him from a 4 in threat level, to a 8. That is why when they are REQUIRED to be around one another, we have our best officers on stand by. END LOG)’

“So I guess this means I’m gonna have to keep the two far FAR away from each other. Hope their rooms aren’t close..” you then grab the next file, this one being quite disturbing.

NAME: KENNETH MCCORMICK

AGE: 17

HEIGHT: 5’6 (167.64 cm)

GENDER: MALE

THREAT LEVEL: 7

COMPANIONS: STANLEY MARSH, KYLE BROFLOVSKI, ERIC CARTMAN, LEOPOLD STOTCH

(Mr McCormick has been a.. tough.. case. He was put in out care, after his parents found out he has sexual harassed multiple women on multiple different occasions. Mrs. McCormick said quote “It got so bad, one women came to our house accusing my son of r**ing her! I couldn’t believe it, ‘till I questioned my Ken and he couldn’t even deny it! I’m so disappointed, I can’t even look at him the same!”. We gave our regards and took Kenneth into our custody, were he has tried to repeatedly grope female staff. We gave the each different patients, and distanced them from Kenneth, for their safety. END LOG)

“I..and they decided to give me him..?” You say, terrified by what you just read. But, before you can pick up the next file, you hear a scream. A masculine one at that. “ACK!” You squeal and rush to open the door. “LET ME GO YOU STUPID FUCKING GUARD!” You see a red headed boy scream, as a security officer pushes him along with handcuffs. “Come on Kyle, you’re wasting my time.” The man says in a calm manner. “FUCK YOU! LET ME GO!” the redhead, presumably Kyle, screams louder. “You wouldn’t be here if you had never attacked Eric. This is the consequence to your actions.” The officer says nonchalantly. “ HE PUSHED ME FIRST! I KNOW YOU SAW! WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE GETTING PUNISHED!?” Kyle says, thrashing around. “Eric is facing his punishment as we speak.” Says the man. Kyle says nothing, and continues to thrash. “Do you want to be sedated till we get to the IR?” Kyle’s thrashing stops. “No..” he says quietly. “That’s what I thought. Move along” the officer says, as they both disappear down the hall.

Shocked by what you just witnessed, you mumble to yourself, “I’m starting to think I’m not cut out for this..” and close the door.

𝘼𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍 day job hunting. “Sigh…I really have to find a job. I’m so late on rent..” upon saying that, a knock on the door interrupts. Getting up, I go to answer the door. It’s Mrs. Walinski. “Y/N! Where the hell is your rent?! I’ve given you a month now! And nothing!” Her heavy Russian accent exclaims. “I know Mrs. Walinski… I’ve just had a hard time finding a suiting job is all.” “You better find one soon! I need my rent!” “I know…” “I‘ll give you one more month! One! After that you leave!” “Yes Mrs. Walinski..” After that she walks away, leaving me to stare at my feet. “Ffffuckkkkk…” I close the door and continue to job hunt. That’s when I see an ad for a Mental Facility. “South Park’s Mental Health Facility..” and at the bottom in bold heading it said ‘ PSYCHOLOGIST NEEDED’ my eyes go wide as I read the headline over and over again. “I think this is where my degree is psychology comes in handy!”

I immediately click on the ad and start to fill out the online form. After I finish filling it out, I click done and words flash on the screen saying. ‘WE’LL EMAIL YOU IF YOU GET ACCEPTED!’ “Ok.. now we wait.”

Days Later

I wake up and get dressed after showering. I brush my teeth and then get started on breakfast. I then feel a buzz in my pocket and pull my phone out. I got an Email from South Park’s Mental Health Facility! I quickly open it and skim to see if I got accepted. In bold letters I see ‘CONGRATULATIONS Y/N L/N! YOU ARE NOW A PSYCHOLOGIST AT SOUTH PARK’S MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY. PLEASE COME IN ON Monday, JULY 15 2024 TO CLAIM YOUR BADGE. THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING US.’ I couldn’t believe it!

I can’t wait to start my first day!
