Hello I'm looking for a fic I read before it was set pre season 1 where Astra instead of working with non and trying to start myriad on earth decides earth isn't in as much danger as krypton and ends up spending years integrating with humans and I think even goes to collage and becomes the ceo of her own business to push for more eco friendly reforms in society and she ends up meeting a younger Alex and they start to date until Alex finds out who astra is and because of her past she ends up not trusting astra and they break up with alex asking her to stay away from her and kara there was also a scene where after their breakup they meet again after astra gets exposed to red kryptonite and Alex has to calm her down

So I have a new fic idea! I'm a huge fan of both once upon a time and 9-1-1 and earlier today I was remembering how when henry first asked about his father emma lied and said that he was a firefighter and I got an idea of an au where what if emma and buck knew each other like maybe they met while buck was traveling the world before he moved to L.A or something and either A. Buck is Henry's dad not Neal and the story emma told henry was the truth except for the part where buck is dead emma never told buck about henry because they where both young and she didnt want to hold him back from leaving his parents house but then season two of ouat rolls around and henry somehow finds out that emma lied and que buck and the 118 getting the surprise of their lives when henry pops up at the station after running away again or b. Neal is Henry's dad, but when henry asks about his dad emma can't bring herself to tell him the truth but she does remember an old friend of hers who happens to be a firefighter in L.A and so she sorta substitutes stories about Neal with stories about buck to passify henry not expecting henry to start digging into things a bit more and eventually show up at the 118 station under the impression that buck is his father and maybe emma and buck where even fwb's back in the day with enough overlap between their relationship and emma and Neal's that buck actually thinks it's a possibility henry is his for a bit until a discreet DNA test clears that up either way buck steps up as a dad or dad figure for henry leading to emma buck and regina forming a somewhat messy but still functional coparenting situation with the firefam all becoming Henry's extended family as well with henry and Chris becoming a sibling duo and teaming up with the rest of the firefam kids to get buddie and swanqueen together

So, I just started watching multiverse of Madness, and as somebody who likes both wanda and Stephen, this movie is just so frustrating. Am I the only one who feels like this? Like I'm only half an hour into the movie, and just some of the writing has me annoyed. I do agree that wanda wanting to kill America is wrong no matter the reasons so I'm on stranges side in that but the fact that he tries to "calm her down" twice by telling her that her kids arent real which whether he means to or not compleatly invalidates her pain over loosing them then theres that scene after he finds wanda and realizes she is the one trying to kill America and he reports back to kamar Taj he starts going on about wanda destroying the multiverse if she gets americas powers despite the fact that he knows wandas motivation is simply to go to a universe where her kids are alive. Speaking of which, you're telling me there's no possible way for wanda to get americas help without killing her? On the other hand theres the scene where wanda is trying to justify her trying to murder America and tries to say it's for the greater good like I love wanda but at least be honest with yourself killing America benefits only you! And her calling strange a hypocrite for giving the time stone to Thanos as if 1. He didn't do that because it was the only timeline he saw that led to them all even winning the fight at all and 2. There isn't a world of difference between temporarily conceding a battle to an enemy in the hopes of winning the war and wanting to murder somebody and ripping apart the multiverse. Like, I love them both, but they both are kinda wrong, and everybody treats it like you gotta choose one or the other

Wandanat au of wandavision where instead of vision it's natasha that wanda was dating/in love with and who she brings back after Natasha's death in Endgame.

Just the absolute psychological horror of natasha who has grown up in the red room and who is so used to having her autonomy ignored but who despite wandas powers despite wanda messing with her mind before in aou trusts wanda not to do anything like that to her again only to slowly realize that she was so very wrong and wanda did mess with her mind violating that trust in the worst way possible

Natasha slowly beginning to see the cracks in the hex realizing that something is wrong and confronting wanda who attempts to distract her only to panic when nat doesn't fall for it continuing to press until wanda actively attempts to erase Natasha's memories eyes glowing red only for natasha to back away from her with a look of horror and betrayal in her eyes.

Natasha being billy and tommys other biological mother thanks to wandas magic and having all her complicated feelings on motherhood coming to the surface with their birth even if she doesnt have the memories of her past to fully understand why.

Natasha breaking through the hex like vision did and feeling her body start to dissolve piecing together what's happening and realizing why wanda did this and having the existential crisis of knowing she is essentially the clone of a dead woman

Meanwhile wanda is having her slow descent into madness arc trying to keep the hex together bending over backwards to avoid confronting the morality of her actions or her guilt as she tries to justify her actions because sure she's abusing her powers and mind controlling an entire town but everybody's safe and happy and nat might be angry but at least she's alive to be angry with wanda so surely this can't be that bad...right?

And for added angst things get even worse if you factor in yelena, melina, and alexie because wanda wouldn't know about them meaning more than likely this version of natasha wouldn't know about them either so imagine if natasha somehow survives wanda taking down the hex but she doesn't remember them at all like they start hearing word that the black widow is back start seeing her on the news again running missions with the avengers and go to confront her only for her to not even recognize them or natasha is destroyed in the hex and they find out and either way its like hearing about Natasha's death on vormir all over again

Wagathario au where rio and or agatha stumble upon a young wanda during her pre aou hydra days realize just who she is and they start training her helping her hone her new powers and wanda gets to be the dark/morally grey villian/anti hero she was meant to be. The scarlet witch the lover of the witch killer and death herself.

I 100 percent agree that Emo! Age of Ultron Wanda could match Agatha's and Rio's freak. We're talking about the Wanda that was utterly ruthless to the Avengers shamelessly messing with their minds and I cheered her on. I believe since joining the Avengers Wanda had just become watered down. Because I don't recall Wanda in Age of Ultron ever being afraid of her powers, she was wielding it like a master with confidence. I believe joining the dysfunctional Avengers who could never agree on anything was not a good calling for her.

One of my favorite hotd/daemyra headcanons/tropes is daemon and rhaenyra using high valerian as a love language. But I also really love the idea that this is a habit that they pass down to their children as well (I don't care what canon says the idea that any of daemyras kids aren't fluent in high valerian is ridiculous there is no way that daemon and rhaenyra or even laena and laenor wouldn't have made sure their kids were fluent)

But like the difference is where daemon and rhaenyra almost exclusively use high valerian whenever they can get away with it the kids use it far more sparingly in their day-to-day lives to the point where it's far more impactful when they do

Like for example when talking about rhaenyra and Daemon it's usually mom or dad so them hearing one of the kids calling out mom or dad in the distance usually isn't a cause to panic even if it is enough to get their attention when needed very rarely do the kids use the terms muña or kepa and usually only when they're trying to make a point or if they're really scared or in pain so the sound of one of the kids shouting for their muña or kepa will bring them running every time

So I've heard alot of comments saying that cw's version of green arrow/Oliver queen is just a ripoff batman/bruce Wayne and it got me thinking of an au where instead of William what if Damian Wayne exists but as Oliver and Talia's son instead so Damian queen. Essentially everything in the show still happens but Oliver and talia where together back in the day when she was training him and when Oliver goes to confront her about training adrien chase and finds out that she is Ra's al ghul's daughter she reveals to him that they have a son together

The really funny part is the chaos of the potential misunderstandings and miscommunication that would then ensue especially if wanda didn't intend to keep things secret so she doesnt realize that her team doesnt know and if she doesnt really get the chance to explain everything all at once. Like Im imagining the Avengers don't even know that wanda isn't actually staying at the avengers compound right because they all have their own places and are off doing their own thing. Clint's back on the farm with his wife and kids and is semi retired natasha is splitting her time between her own apartment or wherever and spending time with melina, alexi, and yelana plus dealing with all the former black widows and stamping out any remnants of the red room tony is running si and spending time with pepper, Morgan, and Peter etc... none of them really use the compound as anything more than a headquarters for missions and a place to hang out or crash when a mission runs long and they don't realize that wanda isn't actually staying there either not until they're needing a place to lay low and wanda without thinking just goes why don't we go back to my house and since I ship agatha/rio/wanda we have wanda just casually mention that "it might be a bit crowded with my wives and kids home but they won't mind and nobody will look for us there" and everybody else is confused because what is she talking about ? what does she mean her kids?! What does she mean wives?!?! Just them being totally confused because when did wanda have kids? and why didn't she mention them? but also... when did she get married? and if she hasn't come out yet, they're just like, since when was she gay? and did she just say wives?! and this is before they even get to Westview and meet everybody so wanda is realizing just how little they know and decides to just take them home with her and give them the rundown when they get there except the avengers don't know about nicky or how the twins came to be and about all the rapid ageing and reincarnating into other bodies and all that so after the avengers calm down a bit they start figuring okay so wanda started seeing somebody or maybe had a one night stand in the last few years while they weren't around and didn't tell them she got pregnant and had a baby till now so they are expecting little kids if not toddlers until they get to Westview and are met with two teenagers which considering wanda is in her late 20's-mid 30's I think and the twins look like they're in their late teens which has them all doing the math in their heads trying to calculate how old wanda would've been when she had them. Just the thought of wanda happily introducing her kids to her friends as they are all mentaly spiraling into protective older sibling mode thinking that wanda was a teen parent which only gets worse when they recal that wanda was with hydra meanwhile wanda is oblivious and is just glad that the people she loves are all meeting each other. And imagine if the kaplans show up before wanda can explain but she still introduces them as Billy's other parents so now the avengers are looking at Jeff assuming he's wandas ex and the twins bio dad (which I guess is technically true for Billy seeing as the body is still Williams) and are fully ready to fight him thinking that he abandoned a teenage wanda while she was pregnant with the twins. I also think it would be hilarious if the Avengers meet agatha and rio and find out that rio is Lady Death and wanda gets her own. "What can I say? I like the bad boys" moment.

Or, Alternatively, wanda is purposefully hiding the kids and everybody else from the Avengers but is failing. Badly.

Like just imagine the team is in a meeting discussing an upcoming mission or something and wandas phone is going off and it's either agatha or rio or one of the kids calling because they miss her and want to know when she coming home or maybe there's some magic based emergency back home and they need help or maybe it's one of the kids schools calling because one of the kids is sick and needs to be picked up just something like that and wanda doesnt want the others to hear so she tries to casually excuse herself but she's not a very good liar so now everybody is suspicious that she's hiding something.

Or the avengers start noticing that she's skipping hanging out with them a lot lately like tony invites the rest of the team out to eat or to watch a movie or whatever but wanda has to be back in jersey because it's her week with Billy and she needs to pick him up from the kaplans so she's just all like "oh I can't I have plans" and just leaves so now the rest of the team is just like what the heck is that about?

And this just keeps going on little moments like these adding up making the rest of the team aware she's keeping a secret but they don't know what it is until something happens where wanda gets caught like maybe nicky shows up because he missed wanda or maybe Billy gets sick or hurt and Rebecca shows up with him while panicking because she isn't sure what to do like if it's something she can get away with taking him to a normal hospital for or not or the avengers are really in a bind and wanda has to call in agatha or rio to help or maybe something happens where the twins end up exposing their powers so the avengers are tasked with finding them or there's some big battle where the twins show up to help and the avengers are confused as too who these random teenagers are or why wanda is being so protective and tearing into them about putting themselves in danger until one of them ends up accidentally calling wanda mom in earshot of the team

So I'm a big fan of the mcu I fell a bit behind and have been trying to get caught up on the new shows and movies recently I just binge watched wandavision and agatha all along and I came up with a funny au where the avengers are successful in defeating Thanos and everybody lives nobody dies so like Steve doesn't stay back to be with Peggy and him tony and nat and all the rest of the avengers are still kicking around and it's like all the typical the avengers are a found family fics except the events of wandavision and aaa still happen but wanda doesnt die in mom and lilia alice and mrs davis are still alive and now wanda is pulling a Clint hiding her secret family from the rest of the team. Like I'm picturing it's a few months to a few years after aaa and wanda is back in Westview trying to make amends with everybody she's got Tommy back and she basicly has split custody of Billy with the Kaplans she's learning magic from agatha and the rest of the coven and her and Billy are even able to resurrect nicky like everything's good the world's at peace and the avengers are still doing minor missions here and there but for the most part they are each happy doing their own thing until just like in aou the team needs to hide from the latest big bad and wanda decides to take them back to Westview and the rest of the avengers are just shocked to meet the twins and everybody else

I absolutely agree with this. One of the things that made the early mcu so great was the friendships/found family dynamics between everybody and it's one of the things that makes me sympathize with wanda lately I haven't actually watched mom yet so I only have a vague idea of what happened due to spoilers from being on the internet but essentially the way that I look at it with what i know is that while I don't think strange was too unreasonable to not want wanda to hurt America I don't think wanda was wrong to want her boys back or for grieving especially when she had no support and from what it seems people keep dismissing her pain over loosing the twins and basically telling her to get over it because " well they weren't real anyway" and it really does make no sense that Clint at the very least didn't check on her like I can kinda understand strange not thinking to check on her because as far as I know they weren't really close but like you said Clint was her friend and his son is named after her brother like they where close and just nothing? Maybe they might fix this in upcoming projects, but who really knows.

So, I have a new fic idea. Basically, I started seeing all of the odysseus introduces athena to baby telemachus content in the fandom, and as somebody who is a fan of both epic and pjo my brain just went what about athena introducing odysseus to baby annabeth and then my brain continued to spiral until it formed a full blown au. Essentially, what if annabeth (and any of the other riordanverse Demigods) was born during ancient Greece sometime during the Trojan War, and she's like athenas first Demigod child, right? Like athena has only just came up with the whole magic baby idea and made annabeth as like an experiment to see if she could not fully expecting it to work so now she's got a half human baby on her hands that she has no idea what to do with until she remembers her friend odysseus has a son and she goes to him for help. Long story short imagine the entire Trojan war but with odysseus and crew essentually getting turned into unpaid babysitters having to help athena look after a demigod baby in the middle of a warzone all while athena is bonding with baby ananbeth and learning how to parent in between battles and training odysseus.
