“To the Hordeculture??” Kurt snorts. “I mean, I’ll give it my best try!” He chortles as he searches inside of his pocket.
“I mean, they might be looking for a Sugar Baby, ja?” He jokes as he finds his old image inducer, takes it out and studies it for a moment. Does this thing still works? He hasn’t used it in decades.
“Nee, seriously. I will do my best, I mean, it should be easier to create a diversion if I don’t look like myself.” He looks at Hank.
“They’re wiser than that, I highly doubt I’d be able to charm my way past them but I’ll think on something!”

Mamoru is NOT useless in the Anime
Tumblr media
Yes, yes, the memes are funny and all, but this is simply objectively not true and I'm rather exhausted of folks critiquing the character/the anime as though it were.
I will hopefully kill his BS once and for all.
"He just throws a rose and leaves!"
For those who have actually watched the anime (or even just the very first episode) to describe Tuxedo Mask as 'useless' is reductionist to the point of being outright disingenuous. In particular when this argument is made in such a way as to negatively compare him to his manga counterpart, who is put over as allegedly superior on this point.
The original 1992 Sailor Moon anime had 200 episodes, 3 TV specials*, 2 theatrical shorts and 3 films, with these latter theatrical releases being dubiously canonical to the anime. Mamoru appears in the overwhelming majority of those 208 entires, even accounting for the final 34 episodes where he was dead/functionally absent almost all of the time. Even if we seriously low balled things, the majority of those appearances feature him partaking in the following scenario.
Sailor Moon, often with her fellow Senshi, are fighting the monster of the day (maybe it's a higher ranking villain, or a general threat they are dealing with).
They get into a tight spot where either they or whoever/whatever they are trying to protect is in danger from whatever threat they are combatting.
Then, out of the blue, a rose slices through the air and imbeds itself into the scenery like a dart. Typically, this action saves the lives of Sailor Moon, her friends or whomever they might be protecting.
Tuxedo mask gives a speech and either leaves or else sticks around to see Sailor Moon perform her finishing move that effectively ends whatever threat she was dealing with, often with Tuxedo Mask being the one to prompt her into performing this finshing move.
For the sake of argument lets pretend that the above is literally the sum totality of what Mamoru does in regards to the superheroics of Sailor Moon. How could anyone describe the above as 'useless'?
If his interventions regularly save Sailor Moon's life then that is a zillion miles away from useless. For him to be useless, his actions need to be superfluous, pointless, contribute nothing. Even if he contributed a little bit he would by definition not be useless. And saving the protagonist's life is much more than 'a little bit'. If the protagonist dies then the story is over. Evil has won, the world is doomed.
And this isn't even considering all the ways Mamoru contributes OUTSIDE of the above scenario.
He has, whilst untransformed, stabbed a Lemures with a knife to save Sailor Moon.
He has willingly acted as a magical life support system for Chibi-Usa when her Pure Heart was stolen, an act that maybe anyone else could have performed but it is still a noble thing to do, in particular when it freed up the more powerful characters to go get her heart back.
He personally met up with the Outer Senshi to learn about them on behalf of the other girls, going alone which might have been dangerous, but the episode also gives the impression that he, as the oldest member of the team, was better positioned to get info from the older Outer Senshi who has a demeaning view of the younger Inner Senshi. In this same episode, he tried to convince the Outers to join forces with the Inners, acting as a diplomat.
He went 1-on-1 with Rubeus to defend an injured Sailor Moon who was herself acting as a human shield for Chibi-Usa
He has personally gone on a one man mission to infiltrate the Black Moon Clan's HQ to rescue Sailor Moon from being sexually assaulted by Prince Demande.
Mere episodes later he and Artemis went on a scouting mission to learn more about the Malefic Black Crystal
He formed a double team with Sailor Moon to tackle a tennis themed Youma, an encounter that involved more than a singular rose throw and a speech. One of the multiple times he got more directly involved in fighting the monster of the day
He literally carried Sailor Moon on his back to save her when they were both trapped in an elevator courtesy of Nephrite
He was prepared to willingly reveal his identity and hand both himself and his Rainbow Crystals over to Zoisite in order to save Sailor Moon and her friends
The love he shared with Usagi directly led to the manifestation of the Silver Crystal, to the salvation of Chibi-Usa when she'd been brainwashed into Black Lady & the creation of a new weapon and transformation brooch for Usagi in season 3
As Prince Endymion, he went against his own subjects and risked his life to infiltrate the Moon Palace and warn his beloved Serenity that his home planet was going to invade her home
He took not one, not two, but three impalements to protect Sailor Moon's life
More often than not he has acted as reliable emotional support for Usagi and Chibi-Usa, encouraging them, helping them with homework or just being there for them. i.e. he is an imperfect, but ultimately good husband and father. Which is particularly impressive considering he hadn't yet married his wife nor conceived his child.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are those who might scoff at the latter. Is emotional support really useful? Well, putting aside how the Sailor Moon universe clearly demonstrates how magical power/energy is directly linked to emotions, this is categorically true in the real world as well. There are no end of testimonies from fire fighters, doctors, people who have serious illnesses, or soldiers that the emotional support of thier loved ones have kept them going and kept them alive. So, this is rather useful for our heroine Usagi who's job is that of a Sailor Soldier.
The Outer Senshi
Furthermore, there is an inherent hypocrisy in the 'Mamoru is useless' narrative because such criticisms are never levelled against other characters whose typical role in the narrative are similar to Mamoru's.
The most popular season of the original anime was season 3 (Sailor Moon S) and one of the biggest reasons for that show's popularity were the fan favourite Outer Senshi: Sailors Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn. Let's exclude Saturn as she wasn't active as a Senshi for most of season 3. Uranus and Neptune's role in the first half of season 3 typically amounted to
Attacking the monster of the day, usually to the same end that Mamoru's rose throws did, i.e. a distraction or last minute save
Swiping the Pure Heart of that episode's victim
Checking it over before concluding it wasn't a Talisman
Leaving, or else at least standing by as Sailor Moon administered her finishing move on the monster of the day
Golly...that seems just as 'useless' as Mamoru now doesn't it? In fact, maybe more so considering they weren't even trying to help Sailor Moon in the first place. In fact, during their second appearance, they unintentionally saved the lives of a powerless Usagi, her friends and an innocent civilian to check a Pure Heart, then uncaringly left them all in danger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know who then saved them immediately after that? Mamoru!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later when he too was overwhelmed by the monster he directly contributed to saving the day as his emotional bond with Usagi generated the Spiral Moon Heart Rod, upgrading Sailor Moon and giving her the power to save everyone.
Tumblr media
During the third sub-arc of season 3 (where the recurring villain was Mimet of the Witches 5) Sailor Pluto joined the Outer Senshi's ranks and their role in the typical monster of the day plots became yet more minimal. More than once, the trio literally appeared but did nothing, something that had also happened at least once before Pluto joined the team. Examples include (but are not necessarily limited to) episodes 97 (The Labyrinth of Water – Ami Targeted), 116 (Sunny Skies After a Storm – A Friendship Dedicated to Hotaru) and 118 (Battle Inside the Demonic Space – The Sailor Guardians’ Gamble). In some of these instances the Outers deliberately choose to do nothing.
Barring 2 of the specials mentioned above (one of which was a clip show), the Outer Senshi were wholly absent in season 4/Sailor Moon SuperS. In one of those specials, upon learning that a new threat had arisen Uranus and Neptune...choose to continue their road trip and leave the fighting to Usagi and the others...How...useful???????
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They, along with Pluto and Saturn get much more involved during the course of the final season/Sailor Stars. Even then, Saturn only appears in the first few episodes and the last few. Pluto only gets involved in the monster of the day schemes once or twice and Uranus and Neptune three or four times, if that. Whilst Mamoru is barely involved at all in this season, he at least has the excuse of being dead for most of it.
So, the fan favourite Outer Senshi got far LESS involved and were LESS useful than Mamoru typically was in the course of the whole show. In fact, even if we exclude the first two seasons where (exempting Pluto) the Outer Senshi hadn't appeared yet, Mamoru overwhelmingly contributed MORE than the Outer Senshi did.**
The Other Senshi
Much the same can be applied to the Sailor Starlights. The Starlights more often than not actually got MORE involved in fighting the monsters of the day during season 5 than the Outer Senshi did in season 3; or at least they were interested in defusing a direct and active threat to innocent lives. But even they literally showed up and did nothing on at least one occasion.
Tumblr media
Whilst the Starlights are nowhere close to the Outer Senshi's popularity, they are also never subjected to the 'they are useless' narrative Mamoru frequently is.
Nor in fact are the Inner Senshi of Sailors venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury. Now, whilst it's easy to argue due to their superior screentime, the fact that they often initiate combat with the monster of the day and are generally heavily involved in whatever crisis is happening, that they are obviously more useful than Mamoru is.
And you know what, even including the rare occasions they too show up and do nothing else (or do a last minute save like Mamoru is prone to do) this is perfectly true. It is also perfectly true however that the quartet have rarely ever defeated any monster of the day on their own. The overwhelming majority of the time the Inner Senshi act as a distraction to the Monster of the day or else sufficiently lower its HP so that Sailor Moon can actually beat the monster. That might be more useful than Mamoru's typical contributions, but, call me crazy, it seems like Sailor Moon is doing the lion's share of the work there. So, how 'useful' are the Inner Senshi really if we run by the 'Mamoru is useless' narrative?
If Mamoru is useless so are many if not all of the more popular heroic characters in the series.
But...how useless is Mamoru in the anime compared to the Manga?????????
*Well, one special with three segments, but go with me on this.
**They were mostly absent from season 4 whilst he appeared routinely in that season. Meanwhile, in the season he was mostly absent, they rarely helped out.
Obviously, there are real life writing reasons behind that difference, but my point is why is the fandom not treating the Outer Senshi as 'useless' too?

Area 51 Raid
In 2019 a satirical event was organized via FaceBook. The objective was to infiltrate the titular top security American facility, Area 51. The event would involve a flash mob of people running into the facility under the logic that not all of them could be stopped if there were enough of them. The sentence "they can't stop all of us" became popular in relation to this event; as well as the Naruto run meme, regarding how the facility should be infiltrated according to some. The ultimate goal was to find alien life within Area 51 and prove the long-standing conspiracy theory that alien life is housed in there.
Approximately two million people marked the event as being interested in it or intending to attend, leading to mass media coverage taking the Area 51 raid seriously. This notoriety and the gravity with which the shitpost was taken elevated it to a famous meme. In the end, only 150 people attended the meetup and none entered Area 51. Two music festivals were held on the date in Nevada, though, with a much larger attendance.
This prompt is open to being taken as seriously as news outlets did, or as comedically as the shitpost was intended to be. The death in this prompt happens in relation to the Area 51 raid. Everything else is up to the author.

Mass Effect ask meme: 48, 54, 75?
48. Describe your perfect playthrough
Oh, hmm. Well, I don’t know how to mod so some of this is what my ideal would be if I could, lol:
-Mshep, Infiltrator, Earthborn, war hero, paragon
-mshep allowed to smooch Kaidan in ME1
-both Virmire survivors live; I think that’s about where my modding desires would end 🤔
-save destiny ascension
-ME2 slog unavoidable so everyone survives the suicide mission 😔
-blow up collector base
-ME3 always support the Krogan; destroy ending, but Shepard lives
I guess that’s “perfect” in the sense that that’s largely how I play it, modding notwithstanding. My IDEAL playthrough would let me have a krogan buddy for each game, Garrus not a squad mate after ME1 (not dead! Just. I’m the sniper on this team, ok?), more Geth interactions, option to try and leave Cerberus within the confines of ME2 (loyalty missions being utilized as a way to sway Miranda and Jacob to your side more overtly), better pacing overall in ME2, and reworking side missions to be more narratively interesting in ME3 would be pretty great 🤷‍♂️
54. My absolutely NOTP
Haaa, at the risk of catching flak for this… I don’t like Tali and Garrus 😬 it feels weirdly forced to me and not very organic. The game just doesn’t do a very good job addressing the almost…proprietary way we see Turians interact with Quarians? Like that one Turian putting his hands all over Tali in the first scene she’s introduced, and that other Turian giving off serious “friend zone and unhappy about it” vibes in ME2 when talking with his Quarian friend who’s venting about some guy she’d gone out with to Garrus’s own shitty remarks to Tali… like yeah she calls him out on it, and he apologizes, but idk, he didn’t have much character growth imo and certainly not enough to demonstrate “chemistry” with Tali so far as I’m concerned. I just don’t like those vibes, man 🫤
75. Moments that give me chills/feels?
Honestly, the opening sequence in ME3. As I mentioned in another post, I kinda came to these games out of order and realized quickly that I needed to play them IN order. ME3 was my first brush with it, and I played that opening part before leaving Earth and even though I didn’t have the context at the time to fully grasp what was happening, it was still compelling enough to stay in the back of my mind even years later, prompting me to go back eventually when the LE came out.
That one gives me feels. As for chills? Talking with the Leviathan-controlled miners on that mining outpost 😶 felt almost like we were slipping into a different sci fi genre with that DLC

The left is chock full of people who transpose evangelical Christian ideas onto a political ideal, and it's been forming a strange quasi-cult mannerism. I look at it like a young evangelical Christian youth discovering reddit atheism at 15 and decided they can supplant their Bible with leftist writings, replace their preacher with whatever red flag weirdo they can find on the internet with a large enough Twitter following, and replace the holy rapture with the glorious revolution.
Since they just vacated from a death cult, they usually seem to also follow that route, they're far, FAR more prone to the purity testing because, again, evangelical values dictate that behavior, having the same masturbatory vision of valiantly sacrificing themselves in a revolution as evangelicals have with the idea that Christians instill in children by prompting them to proclaim that in the event Christians are so oppressed that they will have to choose between renouncing the faith or being shot, they will choose being shot. A rather abusive tactic used by far right Christians for decades to enforce a militaristic fervor as early as possible, but this translates to a sense of what appears to be a revolutionary suicidality.
My biggest problem with that is if they wish so badly to die and make their way to commie Valhalla, fine, whatever, maybe consider not taking your 'comrades' with you through careless political operation. However, this type of person is, of course, more interested in the aesthetics of politics rather than practicum. Hence the obsession with the sacred texts, donning clothing and merchandise which signals an ostensibly leftist bent such as red flags, ushankas, memes using ostensibly leftist imagery and short quotes and quips without the full context of the text similarly to evangelical Christians Cherry picking the Bible to justify their views, they're often the person who will act like they're "discoursing" but the moment you actually challenge them, they will do the weird white guy in an online argument thing where their vocabulary goes from a normal vernacular to suddenly bringing out the big words and start talking like they're drafting a letter two centuries ago, but they do it with a lefty aesthetic, so they'll start saying shit like "dialectic" and "material conditions" when two seconds ago they were talking like a somewhat normal person.
I believe this jargon-spew to be alienating to the individual, ensuring the only people who would attempt to relate to them, much like right wing circles effectively alienate prospective recruits by inundating them with alternate speech patterns, memes, behaviors and such creating an alter-culture which is incomprehensible to your average person who doesn't know what any of it means, but overall highly damaging to a broader left, as they consistently are trained to present themselves as THE left in the same manner more fervent Christian sects present themselves as the *true* followers of the faith, considering any deviation from the following of their particular denomination as a deviation, an aberration, a heresy.
Worst part is given this usually starts happening online, for one it's obvious a lot of the online "leftist" figures know that in generating an audience, that type of person has several toxic incentives to cultivate that type of audience and encourage that behavior, including social clout, financial gain and, if played correctly, a very closed-off community that self-polices. What they don't understand about the downside of that is that all you need do is commit one minor 'heresy,' even if that heresy appears fabricated or a stretch in the interpretation of what you say, to immediately be deemed a false prophet and their version of justice has evolved into a form of permanent harassment.
Moreover, I've been adequately convinced a lot of online accounts which present these behaviors may be right wingers who have engaged in a very long form version of an infiltration tactic using sock accounts which seem to usually have some kind of non-identifying profile images and such, engage in similar tactics to right wing hate mobs but carefully wrapped in language crafted to appeal to left leaning people. For example, if you look at damn near any leftist content creator from before, like, 2019, those who have had some kind of 'cancel' situation come up, magically a whole database of anything (usually only if misenterpreted) slightly potentially offensive thing they've said or done suddenly appears out of the woodwork and spreads like wildfire.
I can think of three specific left leaning, though not entirely hammer-and-sickle communist content creators, all women, two of whom were Trans, who experienced such a campaign and magically when they pointed either directly or indirectly at a place where right wing weirdos gather to log everything someone has said or done to use in harassment campaigns, the harassment *magically* intensified to a fever pitch. Almost as if in addressing it, they poked the hornet's nest.
In the place they were gesturing towards, if not directly naming, many users directly spoke of how they've created fake accounts to do exactly that. I believe this infiltration no longer really needs such gathering places, as those who engage in such behaviors have kind of embedded themselves in left leaning online circles so deeply, either by lurking quietly or being consistent actors in those communities building trust, or in some cases I fully believe actually being the admin/host/content creator themselves, and have figured out they can actually keep themselves in those communities, their contributions useful in directing the rest of the community to positions, behaviors and viewpoints that are detrimental to the left but crafted specifically to appeal to someone who leans left of center.
Infiltrate, distract, disrupt, disappear, repeat, if you're embedded as a community member. Curate an audience that is aesthetically left but susceptible to the BITE cult model and direct their behaviors and views accordingly while taking as long as possible to drop any given mask. When you point at the likelihood of such infiltration, you sometimes get the same hornets nest reaction. It's like COINTEL but for terminally online right wingers.
These types of infiltrators, I believe, will appeal heavily to the type of person who adopts leftist aesthetics with evangelical disposition. That kind of person is highly reactive and very useful so long as you keep them constantly pointed at some general 'enemy' who isn't a direct boon to the right, and as such would be persuaded in spaces where this influence is heavy to only briefly speak ill of right wing figures and actors, sometimes even downplaying the danger they pose, almost to make sure there is still some plausible deniability while minimizing the impact such attention can have, while ensuring they attack literally anyone else and overemphasize if not manufacture the potential harm the preferred target could have, usually ensuring there is no act considered "too far" against that intended target.
This is, in my opinion, a severe danger to the capacity and sustainability of a left movement. It should have been addressed years ago. If it is not addressed soon, I fear it will render any budding left movement having a strong presence in modern mass discourse essentially impotent. Moreover, I believe it will also ensure people will spend decades of their lives believing that this behavior is how to BE an effective leftist.
I fear those who consider such tendencies an image of what an effective left should be, and those who would happily cultivate those tendencies in the left specifically to render the left ineffective, are in prime position to condition young or new left leaning people to believing that is what a left movement should look like, which could be long-term damage.
In the event these toxic, cult-like circles are dealt with by shining a light upon them and revealing them for what they are, the bad actors will be rendered less effective temporarily (though, they can always create new accounts and the trick is knowing their modus operandi and pointing to that instead of the individual actors and engaging in active educational efforts which counter the tendency,) and the aesthetic leftists will either cult-hop to the right without some kind of space to exist which somewhat resembles a kind of stochastic exit counseling.
I don't know. This is just a thought that's been turning around in my head for a few years now. I don't know where else to put them down in writing. I'm sure voicing them anywhere your identity can be tracked is a surefire way to be targeted by people who specifically benefit from such tendencies or would prefer to retain such tendencies rather than reassess them. I'm sure someone smarter than me can probably see where I'm getting at, and may have the capacity to form this into a more complete thought, but it isn't something I can leave entirely unsaid.

Writer's first line meme
Rules: post the first sentence of your last ten fics. If you haven’t written ten fics, share as many first sentences as you have.
Tagged by @otemporanerys. Thank you!!
Tagging @dearophelia @stormikins @urrone @mrsd-writes and anyone else who would like to play!
I just went down the Ao3 list, and left out the prompt collections.
Fugue – Alchera & the 2 year gap (ALMOST FINISHED, aaaahhhhh)
The first salvo hit with Shepard in mid-laugh.
2. Capriccio – A father’s love for a whirlwind of a child.
Forget relays and first contact wars and discovering aliens. The real test of courage and mettle is having an eight-year-old named Sam Shepard
3. Heartstoppers From Beyond The Veil - Sam & Kaidan First Kiss AU
Shepard thunders through the ‘Yang’s airlock like it’s a day of reckoning, and every single person between him and the crew deck makes the quick and wise decision to get the hell out of his way before they wind up being the one he reckons with.
4. Space Talk – Another Sam & Kaidan first kiss AU. :D
Kaidan nearly slips going down the hill towards the prothean artifact.
5. Concerto: Vimire
New Message, Shepard, Sam, Staff Commander, 5923-AC-2826
-You awake?
6. Warm With You: Post-Leviathan snuggles
The pale light of Shepard’s fish tank casts an eerie glow around the otherwise dark cabin.
7. Cantata: The Making of Commander Shepard, in which my opening sentence is a sex joke that neither I nor Kaidan clocked until much later, oops. XD
Kaidan has never even heard of the Docking Station, a poorly named bar on the fringes of Arcturus’ torus ring that is about as far from the actual docking bays as anyone can get.
8. Untitled Goose Fic: Another Sam & Kaidan First Kiss AU, that was spawned because upon discovering there is an Ao3 tag for “Soulmate Goose of Enforcement,” I asked, “is anyone gonna write one for Mass Effect?” and did not wait for an answer.
“So,” Shepard says, surveying the lake with a critical eye. “You have a lake.”
9. The Things We’ve Done: Sam & Kaidan first sex AU, with my favorite tag ever, “you’re not dead let’s have sex about it.” This is actually a chapter of Cantata, but I posted it as a separate story because of the AU ending.
Suit alarm. Another blood pressure alert.
10. Late Nights, Slow Dances: Mixing business with pleasure, Citadel DLC style. The clone won’t be part of Opus proper, but this idea hit me after I took a very fluffy screenshot, and I couldn’t resist.
The oscillating lights over the casino dance floor are a bit much, but between the music and the formalwear and Shepard on his arm, this infiltration mission almost feels like…a date.

Scenario Prompt Meme | Open
@sometimesrufus asked: 30.  NUDE :  for one muse to walk in on the other while they’re changing. @ Vincent
Tumblr media
When on these escort missions that's required stopping at Inns, Vincent Valentine always tried to ensure their room situation was suitable to his role. Separate, to offer the other man privacy, but close and secure enough that the unique Turk could do his job and whatever that might require--from keeping watch, to infiltrating the room to stop threats.
The balconies provided with these rooms were very useful for the latter.
But after assuring the heir was taken care of and set up in his room, Vincent needed a moment to himself. He didn't take them often, not while on mission, however...he was having a bit of a reaction. Recent training was stirring up some of the condition he had with his skin, the deformity along his left arm having grown a great deal in the past few months, though not beyond what he could generally hide. But, it needed some tending to, with a few creams and such he had for them. So he had removed his top, and half of his pants, to assess the damage in the bathroom. The rough, and partial scaled patches stayed on his left side, but they were...encroaching more and more lately. It was nothing short of uncomfortable, infuriating, and...disgusting. But it was his existence, and so he would deal with it. Running his good hand over the patches training over his rubs, over one side of his abdomen and stretching from pelvic bone and over his hip, he simply sighed. It was all raw, aching, and tingling. He'd need to apply the cream to every dark, purplish patch.
So he returned to the main part of his room, putting up his long black hair in a messy bun and going for the cream sitting at the top of his bag. He was far too wrapped up in his thoughts of frustration and disgust, that he didn't focus on the presence outside of his door, until he heard the click of the door and suddenly it swung open.
He didn't here whatever statement or excuse Rufus Shinra gave for intruding into his room, no. Instead, he turned on the blond with almost a snarl, eyes wide as if he had been caught, before they narrowed in dark annoyance. It was a gaze not often put upon Rufus Shinra, unless he was being particularly reckless under Vincent's watch. But now, it was as if all the hate and rage for the discolored flesh and limb now on display, was focused solely on Rufus.
And in a deep, low growl, all he could say was, "Get. Out. Now."
He was rapidly feeling shame, for loosing his cool, even with only a gaze and a few rough words, but he was better than this. He was a Turk, he was...he was supposed to be more than the monstrosity on display, but yet here it was, on display. He couldn't remember where he left his top, and so once his self-hatred venom had been spewed at Rufus, he moved into another level of shame. Tearing the blanket from his bed, he wrapped himself up and turned from the other man.
He should amend his reaction. He should...say something else, more reasonable, than that undignified, feral growl he'd just let out. But he was feeling nauseous with shame and rage and self hatred, it was hard to get anything else out.
"...Please."

“Well, you have two choices Herr Soldier.” He grins and places both hands on his hips. “Trust the teleporter or find your way inside by yourself.”
“Ja, it’s a risk. I’ll have to take a leap of faith with a guy that weights enough to kill us both if I reappear us into a solid object und, I’m sure you will vomit.”
“But, that’s the only way to get in.”
He looks up, narrows his eyes and makes a dramatic pause.
“Ach nee, not the only way. You could find a way, right?” He raises an eyebrow.

The Book of the War: Enemy information
General Partly due to the Timelord's lack of understanding/self awareness. Not a species or faction but an all consuming process. It's, "how" and, "why" are important and matter not the, "what". Maybe has a quick and convenient two part name. Did not create the Frontier in Time. Maybe disgusted by the Celesits like everyone else. Not as close to immortality as the Celestis. Civilised, cultured, and intelligent enough to have an agenda beyond destruction. Prime target: The Caldera, (and thus the Eye of Harmony). (Their destruction will wipeout everything linear). Wins by default if the Timelord's altered the Protocols maybe erasing their own existance.
Nature: 1.Destined to oppose the Timelord's due to it. 2.Only understood by the Timelords 400.B.T.W.. 3.The idea that the ware was result of increasing Timelord paranioa makes a certain sense given it. 4.When it became clear the Nne Gallifrey Project was started. Understands the need for diversity, (cutural and military). Coincidence can be mistaken for enemy action, failing to seperate them is paranioa, separating them too widely is underestimating the enemy. Like the Timelords are willing to ignore the fallout until it creates something practical and spectacular. Not motivated by physical or temporal survial/preservation. Recieved no diplomatic overtures due to the Presidency's interference. Knew the Dronid proxy gang war would lead to full scale spiral politic wide military conflict. House Dvora best understands it's reasoning. Represented by a black box, (nothing). Has knowledge of human hisotry and pop culture. Doesn't come from an alternate universe. Tries not to break the laws of physics. (Reps specific or the leadership also being cnsiderate?). Operates on principles the Timelords aren't built to understand/could not be understood without the game logic prompted self awareness. (Applies to the reps to a lesser extent). Interactive propaganda are typical creations: a.Shifts. b.Xenoprediction, (which encourages the perception that being predictable is unpredictable and generates time conflict based philosophical doubts). c."You" diversions propaganda, (which exploits these doubts). Has a remarkable ability to counter all of the Timelord's moves. Was drawn into conceptual warfare by the Timelords. Virulently hated the Timelords during the early War. Has not filled in their, "back time events" of the Battle of the Anvil Stars. Could have a far more devestating impact on history then the Yssgaroth. Turned the War King, (ie: The Master or the War Cheif) a genuine concerned patriot. Circa 1650, (soon after the Tokugawa isolation) the enemy and or it's reps observed The Guantlet from Ainu territory. Maybe less creative then Posthumanity. Assisted by some timetravelling posthumans out of belief and to enable timetravel technology theft. Studied Timelord weaknesses long before the War started. May know that black suns/spheres are a recurring Timelord enemy visual motif. Could impliment the 8th Doctor;s imagined attack from the Riveria Manuscript. Might see the Doctor as just another Timelord. Has almost polymorphous varied life abilities. (Seems to refer to the leadership but could also refer to the rep variety). Somehow linked to the Order/Cult of the White Peacock. May have some association with the colour brown. Hadn't fully manifested itself until after the Battle of Dronid. Erased certain high leveal weapons technologies from Gallifrey's noosphere. Destined to fight the Timelord's because of it's nature.
Leadership Deploys some Anarchitects and creates some Shifts directly. Retro earases crucial method information when necessary. Capable of: a.Temporaly transporting a severed head even with piryon and anti piyron traces) b.Keeping a severed head alive with a honey like substance throughout the entire life of the universe. Described as, "an afront to every scientific dictum in our repitoire". Can infiltrate a Celestis meme mine. (Maybe given the access by allied Celestis?). Appears as an absence in recordings. Like the Timelords can: rewrite the timeline, subtly rearrange the historical metastructure, and send agents when necessary. Can covertly steal a freshly detached limb from Gallifrey before it hits the ground and offer it back to it's original owner before it was removed. Maybe connected to the Timelord's long buiried fear of another enemy emerging. May share charcateristics with the Mal'akh, (ie: Somehow connected to their opposition's collective subconsious, variable forms, and mysterious leadership). Could be to the Timelords what the Mal'akh is to the Grand Families? The High Council and War Council keeps it's identity secret to keep the Timelords scared and motivated. It has a dounder/leader but focusing on them is pointless. Might observe or join in Timelord interrogations via a direct proxy. Didn't start the War to entertain itself. Can kill or absorb people via contact in a bright light. One unrecordable visual form appalled both a Timelord agent and a 1990's Hollywood executive. May want to revive something or someone dead/may consider themselves dead? May have erased the Through the Eye of Eternity episode, "Miss Hiroshima". It's motivation may involve a stolen future. "it's also possible that the War was the result of the increasing paranoia, (this makes a certain sense given the nature of the enemy)", War Predictions, The Book of the War.
Reps Early rep troopers were just as ill equipped, confused, and macroscopic collective colonies of: nanonachines, battle germs, and time measles as their Timelord counterparts. Couldn't defeat Babels unless they were renderedm vunerable from within and even then required numerous suicidal waves. Has always fought against such mass produced forces. Dronid criminal gang was caled, "The Incorporate". Has a fleet stuck in a perpetual fugue attempt to breach Utterlost's realtime. Faught a more conventional space battle at Kaiwar, "The Roar". Regular and perhaps more direct reps used in Praxis interrogations. May need interiabar chart as much as Timelord agents. Are: bled, analysed, have biomass removed but rarely slaughtered by the Faction. Those trapped in the Labyrinth happily formed temporary truces with Timelord agents as their fear of it trumped their hatred.
Technology Allied Celestis supplied specially designed military concepts including anarchitects, (from which they discover Shift creation). Zero Time: articial time form intended for Gravity Spider weapons avoidance, (Timelord trick to make Gravity spiders move effective). Many timetravel methods share an inherent weakness exploitable by Gravity Spiders. Detroyed all but 73 Casts in their failed Gallifrey attack. Timeship eater weapons. It took several suicide attack waves to destroy internally disabeled Babels. May use charged casual nexus chunks in the form of black fifreballs as weapons. May use noosphere weapons to corrupt beings into mindles crazed killers. Theorised to be able to use upper choatic limiter settings and engineer .V.U.E.'s. (.V.U.E. information: crash, corrupt, vanish, and self falsify). Honey like life preserver/extender. Time technology may sound similar to Timelord demat. Temporal observation technology that detects any incursion at tacticaly important sites regardless of size. Nanomachines and germ warfare used during the early war. Can reduce a Type 103 .T.T. capsule to a transparent globe 2/3 full of green sand. Can create an use other, "flavours" of time. Ability to hide something in Gallifrey's sun. Have an eye of Harmony to protect from attacks of ignorance and power timeships.
Non reps and their technology Breif alliance with former Posthuman War Godess Immaculata Formosii within the first 50 years. Entrusted the President's head to the Order of the Dragon for safe keeping untile the end of time when they'd collect it. Like the Timelords: a.Used the pre anchoring Eremite/House of the Rising Sun Labyrinth for storage and communication but quickly realised how worthless it was and routinely destroys enterances. b.Hired alot of exotic mercenaries during the Lethean Campaign including the Knight Errant who everyone, (likely just the reps on the enmy side) may have been grateful was destroyed. c.Agreed to the Voodoo Charter. d.Is content to ignore small timetravel abuses. Might be allied with The City of the Saved's, "The Sons of Tepes" but this is most likely their wishful thinking.

Short Omegaverse Fics Masterlist
Addiction and Desperation (ao3) - MoMoMomma phil/tony E, 2k
Summary: Phil Coulson was prepared. Until suddenly he was not.
Advance Warning (ao3) - allaire mikháil (allaire) T, 2k
Summary: Steve is unused to interacting with Omegas in the 21st century and makes a forgivable blunder. Tony and JARVIS shouldn't overreact so much.
A Guide to Handling the Unhandleable Tony Stark (ao3) - nightrider101 rhodey/tony T, 3k
Summary: Written for the following prompt on the Avengers Kink meme: The rest of the Avengers assume Tony is an unbound Omega by the way he acts. He’s reckless and carefree and does what he wants. Imagine their surprise when they find out that Rhodey is Tony’s Alpha. They’re all confused at the way Rhodey lets Tony act and how they can be away from each other for long periods of time and Rhodey’s just like ‘He didn’t want to give up his career and I didn’t want to give up mine. And I gave up trying to tell Tony what to do years ago.’
Closer (I need you so much closer) (ao3) - downuptime (orphan_account) steve/tony E, 3k
Summary: Tony Stark was pretty sure he was the luckiest man in the whole wide world. First, his dad. Then Afghanistan. Obi. Then the palladium poisoning thing. Pepper breaking up with him.
And now, he was stuck under a building with Captain America of all people. His childhood crush, who thought he was an immature, reckless idiot with no regard for anyone except himself.
To be exact, they were four levels underground in the garage of a building ninety stories high. Which had collapsed.
Oh, and he was going into heat.
Perfect.
Fall In Ecstasy (ao3) - 51stCenturyFox steve/tony E, 4k
Summary: There were...things on the internet. Most of them, well, made Steve realize that though people today seemed to be more accepting of differences, being an Omega or an Alpha wasn’t something you talked about unless you started up a website and made people give you their credit card number first.
I’m Not One of Them (ao3) - Jelliebean71 steve/tony E, 1k
Summary: Tony finds out he’s an omega. It really sucks being a teenager.
In A Rut (ao3) - rougewinter steve/tony E, 1k
Summary: Or the one where Steve goes into an Alpha Rut and Tony is the only one who can help.
Just Come Home (ao3) - Pearl_Unplanned steve/tony T, 3k
Summary: It had been four months since Tony had last seen his Alpha. It was supposed to be a normal mission, infiltrating A.I.M. But something must've gone wrong, because they'd lost all contact with Steve, the day he was supposed to be back. He was going to tell his Alpha the second that he was home that he was going to be a father.
Only, Steve didn't come home.
(Or pregnant Omega Tony is scared when his Alpha goes missing. When they do find Steve, four months later, he isn’t alone, and the Rogers-Stark family will never be the same.)
Made Omega (ao3) - infiniteeight clint/phil E, 4k
Summary: For a prompt at the avengerkink meme:
"Clint was born a beta and has been perfectly okay with it. Then he gets taken by Loki, who turns Clint's biology inside out and makes him a full omega, planning to make use of it once Earth is his.
Of course that fails, and he's sent back to Asgard. Then Clint goes into his very first heat. I want full-on, serious heat, so wet he's leaking through his trousers, aching and nearly incoherent with need. And it's even more overwhelming for him never having experienced it before, since most omegas have minor ones when they're in puberty.
So he's dealing with the sudden massive change in his instincts and the way his body reacts to the pheromones of those around him. As I'm particularly partial to watersportsloving!incontinent!Clint, I want him to wet himself as a submissive gesture when his Alpha does knot him. The Alpha expects it, but Clint doesn't.
Omegas Can Be Leaders Too! (ao3) - AdamantSteve steve/tony E, 3k
Summary: Everyone thinks Tony is an Alpha. Everyone thinks Steve’s an Omega. That they get together is great for all involved. But it’s not quite as simple as that.
Our Omega (ao3) - haveufoundwhaturlookingfor bucky/steve/sam, bucky/sam N/R, 3k
Summary: Steve And Thor have a one night stand at one of Tony's parties, and Steve ends up pregnant. Thor leaves the next day for Asgard without saying a word to Steve, leaving Steve to deal with the mess alone. Except, he's not really alone. He has Bucky and Sam, who step up to take care of Steve and the baby.
Safe House (ao3) - haveufoundwhaturlookingfor clint/steve/tony N/R, 2k
Summary: The Avengers have to go into hiding after a mission. Clint knows exactly where to take them, but Tony isn't necessarily happy with his decision, even though he knows Clint is right, and causes a small argument. Luckily, Steve is there to quickly resolve the situation before it gets bad.
Trapped (ao3) - bonzai_bunny loki/steve E, 2k
Summary: When Steve accidentally locks himself in Loki's holding cell, he is in no way prepared for the state that the other is in.
Treasure (Me) (ao3) - Potrix bucky/steve/tony E, 4k
Summary: The present is there when Tony drags himself out of his workshop after another all-nighter, sitting on his breakfast bar, neatly wrapped and impossible to miss. Tony squints at it for a moment, suspicious, then shrugs, and wanders closer to pick it up.
What it’s worth (ao3) - masterlokisev159 steve/tony M, 4k
Summary: Tony's scent is off. Wanda realizes why.
with his educated eyes, and his head between my thighs (ao3) - spacebuck steve/bucky E, 4k
Summary: Living with an alpha was usually … difficult. The last alpha he’d shared a building with, some asshole whose name Steve had forgotten almost immediately, had been pushy – scenting the entire building, walking up and down the hallway of Steve’s floor on regular days, let alone when Steve was in heat. After a week of the guy literally scratching at his door, Steve had packed up and left, and the landlady hadn’t blamed him – had even given him back his bond, though she had been entitled to keep it given the circumstances.
The worst part had been when they had crossed paths as Steve had been preparing to move out. The alpha had leered at Steve, catcalled and coaxed, puffed up and made his scent that much more potent. Convinced for some reason that Steve would mate him just because of his designation. Fat chance. Steve had held his breath the last time they had been face to face, refused to look at him, thrown the guy’s hand off when he’d tried to stop Steve from leaving.
Bucky though? Perfect. Fucking. Gentleman.
And it drove Steve nuts.
you're enough (ao3) - haveufoundwhaturlookingfor steve/bucky G, 860
Summary: Bucky gets home after a long day of work, and Steve is a good omega.
You said it loud and I heard you (ao3) - lazaefair bruce/tony E, 2k
Summary: Prompt: "Tony suddenly goes into heat on a normal day in the Stark Tower. Since Bruce is there working in Tony's R&D lab, he is the closest alpha male around (and the only male Tony wants although they're just science bros at the time)."
Which is more or less what happens.

What even is this so-called "hero and villain" side of fandom? Why are we so divided? Why do people assume "so and so" must be friends and obviously know of each other as "a group" thus representing, the entire "other side." Why do we believe certain "groups of blogs" must definitely hold a certain opinion because of a few posts from other blogs that are part of that "other labelled side" not realizing they're completely unaware of each other and do not agree? Is that what creates this "middle ground" of not really fitting in with either of them?
I've been shifting between all three, and I've noticed some hero stans think villain stans think a certain way, but those villain stans are the same ones you and some others disagree with, but yet those opinions seem to largely define "the other side." I've also often seen villain stans act petty and engage with hero stans in the way your anon does here, and some anons constantly share that "perceived majority view point" with hero stans, and I think this is what's causing this huge disconnect. These individual people going from blog and blog sharing stories and that colors our perceptions of each other, and we put everyone into a collective bubble despite these three sides of fandom having smaller groups with their own perspectives on the series that don't match that perceived image. A lot of these three sides even have things they agree with each other on, and things they enjoy about the series, the common ground is there, but we're too divided and chose to stay in our own areas, and I do think that is for the best because one way or another, the differences in opinion will collide somewhere.
I just wish some individuals would stop trying to stir up trouble, it leads to things like someone calling all Hawks stans annoying with a petty meme over proper communication, all because of a basic post where an anon was saying Twice wasn't a good person for his willingness to kill, and the OP clarifies that that wasn't the reason they thought Hawks called him a good person, but because Hawks thought Twice had the potential to be a good person because of the positive traits he'd seen in Twice and wanted him to channel it into something else. Which is a fine opinion to have whether you agree with it or not or think it's all wrong because Hawks is the devil obviously, but my point is: It's a basic post like every other basic post on this website where nobody is attacking anyone or being sassy or rude, which makes the response received completely uncalled for imo, and with the lack of fact-checking? Leads to a "common idea" of a certain group of people "acting a certain way" without knowing what prompted that idea and if it's even deserving. For the record, I used to be guilty of this as I thought all villain stans read the League as positive revolutionaries, not realizing how harmful they were to themselves, but it's been a good year or so since then ever since I decided to actually see what some of you were saying instead of going off word-of-mouth. But that's also why I know how much making exaggerations and spreading assumptions can be an issue.
So, I love my fandom history. I'd say the divisions were less a thing prior to 2018/9 for a couple reasons - the League were less interesting. We had less of them, and the villains were just not given the same depth...yet (i argue 115 is one of the best chapters in this manga). You had stans, of course, and essentially people into the adults over the kids really gravitated towards the villains.
I'd say a few things changed that.
The League went after Overhaul and cemented themselves as a 'group' more so than a bunch of random wackos.
And Dabi is Touya theory got really a lot of confirmation from the Pro Hero arc.
Essentially, once the Hawks Infiltration plot entered this manga, the manga shifted in focus. The villains got more time, more depth, often more than the kids for certain villains. Then MVA happened.
So it went from interest to genuine interpretation of the manga after this. Horikoshi basically threw away his earlier statement of not wanting to humanize the villains too much and started doing that. Villain stans went from people who just found the villains more interesting to being in a space where we were debating how right the villains were as the world started kind of proving they might have a bit of a point. This did divide the fandom. One of the uhh core divides is really about narratives and how we read the story.
I'll give myself as an example - I'm a Hawks-focused blog, right? From the very start I made this blog to talk about him, since I was fine on my main account randomly rbing bnha once in a while, and I was really into Deku before I caught up circa June 2018. It was wanting to write meta on Hawks that changed that. Now, a lot of the names of people who wrote meta alongside me back then are no longer active as far as I can tell, but I'm still here. And yet you know why I've not gone into the Hawks tag in a year and a half? Every time I try to do a mass rb of fan art there's always a couple I can't because I'm blocked. People I've never interacted with or seen in my life. It doesn't really bother me, just gives me pause because I'm rarely the type to block. Unfollow, yes, but not block. The only people I've really blocked were certain unhinged people I absolutely do not wish to engage with or former friends who hurt me deeply and even seeing their blog names causes me discomfort. So I always wonder what was it that made these people block. It comes down to interpretation and talking about.
I've made peace with the fact those random Hawks-likers dislike my take on the character. It's fine, I don't have to prove much to them these days. I've been right, I've also been wrong. But I've written stuff for this small fandom space for years, and I know enough that if I am wrong, I'll accept it when it comes out. But those fans are bothered seeing my posts, and I think that's where the divide is - when we challenge each other's view of the manga. And visibility is unfortunately as good as. I don't tag my meta as #antihawks or #hox because I'm not "anti" the character, just able to articulate and criticize and CELEBRATE how flawed this character is (that and I get really upset when i see people tag my stuff with #hox as it reminds me of the people I once thought were my friends).
Simply, it's about the interpretation of the manga. You have people in parts of this fandom who absolutely do not believe the villains can be saved or that the hero children should save them. There's little communication I can have with people when we so fundamentally disagree on this. Same with my views on Hawks being wrong. Those people who block me fundamentally disagree with me on Hawks having done the wrong thing. Conversations are difficult.
I get your point here. Like I don't assume all "hero" stans are like the unhinged anon who sends me asks about the kids doing emotional labor or something. Some part of me is just "we have different interests" about people who mainly focus on the kids.
But there is a boogie man kind of anon thing, you're right. A lot of people don't see the bad takes they're told of them through their inboxes. It makes things go haywire. I will say my recent stuff is in response to seeing discussions and feeling absolutely dismayed at at a few villain-focused blogs that I know interact with me. The message was for them.
But you're right in that there isn't a "common consensus" because fandom is not a hive mind and shouldn't be. I've been in a space where we tried to make a hive mind in 2020 and let me tell you, it's awful. I refuse to like censor or remove my opinions to be part of a group these days because I did that in 2020 and it hurt so badly because nothing was good enough in that space - we all watched each other like raptors looking for the slightest misstep or transgression, to the point where the person I'd consider the ringleader of it all would look at who like what post when she didn't like the post or not engage with a post. It was insanity. I wish I can attribute it to pandemic lunacy, but like.... I can't. It was just a lot of absolutism and power highs. No nuance. People got cut off quickly like contestants in a contest reality tv show.
But views change. I did read the League as that, or more was inclined to. I hoped Tomura would change his mind and break free from AFO, because even I saw his beliefs and wants as self-harming back in 2019. There was a lot of this tied into his name being Tenko, a term for the coerced ideological renouncement of communism prior to WWII of many prominent Japanese leftists who then supported the emperor. I was sure there was a "turn" somewhere in his future and I hope he'd fight AFO and lead the League to something greater. When the possession plot happened, that ruined most of that for me but it took me a year or so to really process where the manga was headed.
If anything what I'm most dismayed about is people not like... letting their earlier views go as the manga goes on. Dabi is very different than we thought initially, and very few people accurately predicted the sheer level of jealousy, or how much he adored his father (compared to his other siblings). Endeavor is far more complicated than we thought initially, and while I still call him an abuser and rapist I also ponder a lot about Endeavor with broader questions about abolitionism and restorative justice and whether rapists and abusers can be reformed because these are the sort of difficult questions all this makes me ask myself. But a lot of people refuse to even question previously held opinions. idk, sorry for rambling. Your ask made me reflect on how much the fandom has changed in the years I've been here, over and over again.

[Never would happen, but i don't care] (Mukuro) kissing them to shut them up .
Taken from meme: [x] ||Accepting|| KEK, and that's why I said none of these are canon so just treat it like fun time~ glad you're taking me up on that lol First is a joke drabble.
Haru was talking nonstop like she does at times, and she had inadvertently been annoying Mukuro all this while. He asked her something about costumes, and as it's one of her major hobbies, she was excited to talk about it!
She was getting into all the technical parts of making a costume, and that's not what he was really interested in learning about. Haru had misunderstood in her excitement.
There was only one thing to do. Shove some chocolate into her face.
Haru was surprised for sure, but she wasn't going to waste the hershey kisses that she was so rudely bestowed. Chew chew chew.
-
KEK, now for the actual attempt to clearing the prompt. It wasn't stated who was doing the kissing, so I made the choice.
-
It wasn’t very often, but there were times that Haru would go on some missions, and they were normally recon-based. Sometimes, she’d be asked to infiltrate an area and scope out the place by acting like a regular civilian. It wasn’t hard when you thought of it was a vacation or something. It wasn’t often when she was paired off with another person- but she had reason to believe that it was simply because they secretly had someone tailing her to ensure her safety.
It was like they had no faith at all- rude. Anyways, the Vongola were tipped off to some girls going missing, to never be seen again. Investigations have led to all the women having something in common, that they had contact with a man who promised them that he may have a high paying job laid out for them. The girls would quit their jobs after talking to him, and all seemed fine at first until all contact with them would get cut off a few weeks afterwards.
Having a number of women go missing in such a way was obviously a concern.
That enough warranted the attention of the Vongola, and so they had no other choice than to ask one of the girls to scope the scene and maybe even be the bait. With the prospects of this mission taking weeks at a minimum to complete, many of the women affiliated with the Vongola were busy with their own missions. They couldn’t possibly be held up with a mission like this over a more crucial mission.
Not to mention that some just weren’t cut out for missions involving acting and appearing meek enough to be a prime target for this guy that targeted young women. Through a process of elimination, Haru was asked to take on the mission herself.
Honestly, even Haru initially had her reservations about assigning this to her. It wasn’t to say that she was utterly hopeless at acting… but she did have a temper. Haru wasn’t afraid to simply punch a pervert who had untoward intentions. Dr. Shamal was a common victim of her punches, and Haru will die on the hill that he deserves every punch she gives him.
She wasn’t entirely confident she wouldn’t immediately punch the guy if he did approach her out of righteous vindictiveness, but if she thought about how she needed to find out what had happened to the missing women, she could stay her fist for a brief moment.
What her mission details read, was that she was to somehow make contact with the man in question and find out as much as she could about him. If she could figure where all the other girls had gone, even better.
The true issue were the identities of most of the missing women. They either had no family, or were estranged from their own families, so it didn’t gain much traction for their going missing until now. The other troubling part of their identities were that many of the women had jobs like being a cabaret girl, or working in places like maid cafes.
That alone made Haru cast the judgement that the guy was a major pervert, because he only targeted women who worked in fields where you had to sell smiles a customer service and treat men like Kings.
Was she wrong? Absolutely not.
How they did it, she didn’t know, but after pulling some strings, Haru was given a job at a cabaret club as one of the girls who served drinks to customers. Her name at work was ‘Rumi-chan,’ and all the other workers had the understanding that her real name was ‘Hanako,’ an orphan girl who was struggling because of the debts her parents left her with.
As such, she had to settle for working at a cabaret club. She thought she was going to lose her mind from having to tolerate the perverts who flocked to the club on a nightly basis. If not for her target entering the club, Haru may have left the club after causing some chaos.
Alas… Haru could exercise restraint and patience for the greater good. It didn’t take long for her to catch the eye of the bastard after he’d heard from the other girls about how they had a new hire. They asked him to treat her well because she was struggling with debts.
Tumblr media
Haru was sure they had good intentions… and for the sake of her mission, this worked out great! This ‘Muramasa’ was apparently some 2nd generation rich kid who liked to flaunt his money at all the clubs in this district, so they were possibly looking out for her.
You could get a hefty bonus if you served rich clients, after all.
SIGH
Her poor blood pressure. It took every single fiber of her being to refrain from slapping him every time he touched her. It didn’t even matter how innocent a touch it could have been, she felt disgusted by even breathing the same air as a man who was suspected of trafficking women away.
Whenever she was given a break, Haru would always go outside to be away from the customers. She liked going on a small walk to escape from it all, clear her mind. It was a few days into her meeting Muramasa when she noticed that she was being tailed every time she went on break. (In her defense, she used to not be able to tell if someone was tailing her, but she’s improved! It took her a few days to notice, but she got around to it eventually! Give her some credit)
Anyways, it was evident that she was probably going to be the next target. Guess the next phase of the plan of being bait was going to run smoothly. How great. (Can you hint the sarcasm?)
Sad that even when on break she didn’t have the freedom to truly relax.
Tumblr media
She feels someone’s gaze on her and she looks to the side to see a familiar face. What was Mukuro doing in this district? Maybe he had some business here? Was he looking for information? There were a few underground factions working here, like how some of the cabaret clubs had affiliations with the Yakuza. Maybe that’s how the Vongola managed to pull strings to get Haru a position.
The eye contact had gone for too long now that she thought about it. Ah! Did the ones tailing her notice that? Was that going to look suspicious? She quickly changes her pathing and she heads straight for him.
“Kyaa~ You’re back in town? It’s been so long!”
(No one look at her please, her pride is dying here with every step she takes!)
Tumblr media
She reaches for him, guiding his face with her hands so she can steal a kiss.
Almost.
In truth, just at the last second, she placed her thumb in between their lips so they didn’t actually share a kiss.
She fears that she’d get in a lot of trouble if she stole a kiss from Rokudo Mukuro.
Just when she pulls away from the ‘kiss’ and she gives him a big hug next. “I’m on a mission, and I go by Rumi. Don’t ruin my cover.” She whispers. When she pulls away from the hug, she left a small note tucked onto the collar of his shirt. “If you could deliver that, I’d be grateful.” It was a note that she had to get delivered to any of the Vongola guardians.
“You’re so mean, why didn’t you say anything about you being in town again? Mou~ You’re so bad. Are you going to visit the club later?” Haru continues to act as though she was just talking to an old customer she knew.
(Surely that’d be enough to fool her trackers? QuQ)
“Ah, my break is almost over. I have to go back. You should visit again, okay? Bye~” With a playful wink (she’s only acting as her Rumi setting requires of her. Don’t judge her!) she trots off back to the club to resume work.
Someone save Haru, she doesn’t want to do this anymore! Hasn’t she suffered enough? Now someone she knows had to witness her acting. Excuse her as she’s mentally crying her life away.
