Also, you're in luck, Lu Woh's wiki page features the Japanese transcription of most of his lines. If you put those into DeepL, you'll learn that two of his Add to Party lines are "I don't understand why you're trying to ask me out", which I'm just going to go ahead and take literally, because it sure applies to some of the Anons here and another one is "I'll go out with you as an apology for hurting you".

So you might be right and the entire Old Bonds fiasco guilt tripped him into joining us to keep an eye on us to make sure we don't get hurt again. That would also explain his pretty decent healing skill. I think that's adorable.

For the record, the third line translates to "Your lack of restraint/ consideration is appalling", which I am going to take only further means he's chiding us for always rushing headlong into danger.

I bet you could get him to do pretty much anything by making puppy dog eyes and bringing up that time he almost killed you. This bodes well for literally every holiday.

And hell yeah i love being right. To be fair Lu Woh's raid gimmick has always been "hit hard then restore a bit of party's ally" and it's also why he is introduced like that in Old Bond, hitting us hard and coming back genuinely to heal us later, and why his unit is like that as well.

I do think he always intended to just hit us to teach us a lesson (that we weren't fit to handle Vyrn's power) and heal us later, but in between MC pushing themself to the gate of death and power to protect Vyrn, and the showcase of how people care for us and are willing to help us and that we're not alone, probably made him reconsider his reasoning and made him feel bad that he decided to use violence to teach us something. So now he just heals unconditionally (even if he raises the Crit rate of the enemy)

but yeah i really think the whole thing is that he feels bad for how violently he tried to approach the Old Bonds situation and now he'll be all tsundere with us but he will do literally anything for us because he FEELS SO BAD.

and the third line is incredible holy shit. He's really just babysitting us now.

AND FOR REAL. I cant wait for halloween to see if we can bully him with that. also this would like how we bully Sandalphon with the "your fingers are delicate" thing. Lu Woh and Sandalphon create a club of "almost killed MC and we feel so bad about it".

Kim and Aubrey have each others initials etched onto their scooters. They did it when they were just friends, but after they start dating they add a heart around the letters. Yeah it’s cheesy but whatever they both like it and no they will not elaborate fuck you

Kim and Aubrey are definitely the couple who like angrily confess their feelings to each other. I’m talking both of them realizing how they feel and avoiding the topic until there’s a big confrontation which ends with one of them shouting that they have a crush on the other and both blushing like fools but also holding hands

They start dating about half a year before the game canonically starts in my hc so they’re pretty established as a couple by the time everything goes down. Established, but literally only the hooligans know. 

90% Hooligans are not shocked when they start dating. Vance and Charlie expected it and Angel was told by Charlie to expect it. Then there’s Maverick who literally never knows anything ever. As a joke Aubrey and Kim didn’t tell him they were dating they just waited to see how long it would take him to realize

But listen Mav is a sheltered child from a highly religious family (he’s also definitely gay but I digress) so it takes a comically long time for him to realize. When he does it’s very much like that scene in friends where Phoebe just jumps up and down and screams CHANDLER AND MONICA over and over, but it’s Mav shrieking AUBREY AND KIM AUBREY AND KIM!!!!!

They were a little worried that Mav might actually not be super cool, but turns out he’s just very excited and slightly offended they didn’t just tell him?? Why is he always the last person to know things >:O

Kim and Aubrey don’t really like go on dates per say. They mostly just hang around with their group of friends, and have sleepovers together just the two of them. It’s very much one of those first relationship things where they say they’re in a relationship and they do special things, but a lot of it is performative because that’s how it is in your teens a lot of the time. 

They both know that they like each other, and they both know that they enjoy being gfs, but they don’t really like fall in love until almost a year into their relationship. 

It isn’t even something significant that Aubrey did. She was just over at Kim’s dad’s house helping her dad with a pipe issue once again. Kim wasn’t really watching, she was reading a book and waiting for her girlfriend to be done messing around with her dad, when she saw it. 

They had finally fixed the pipe, and her father was elated. He gave Aubrey a pat on the head and told her he was proud of how helpful his “favorite assistant” was, then he made a joke about how Kim should bring her around more often. Aubrey’s good natured grin had dropped off, and she seemed almost shell shocked. She made an excuse to go into the other hallway, and Kim on instinct followed her

Aubrey was standing against the wall, her head leaning against the plaster and her eyes closed. She was crying, her shoulders hitching up and down with sobs and her bottom lip wobbling. But she wasn’t making a sound. Kim had never seen someone cry without making noise before, and it was eerie to see now. She wasn’t sure what to do, but on instinct she walked over and slotted herself into Aubrey’s arms, burying one hands in hot pink hair and the other flat against her back. Aubrey nearly collapsed into her arms and buried her face into her girlfriend’s neck. 

As Kim held her still silently crying girlfriend a rush of strange protective emotions came over her. She had always been pretty protective of Aubrey, but this was different. It was deeper, almost all consuming. She knew that she would never let anyone make Aubrey feel like this again, and if anyone made her cry they would have Kim to answer to. 

Kim didn’t know what love felt like to anyone else. She didn’t know if it was soft or light or kind. For her it was thunderous, lightning hot, exactly like Aubrey. It hurt with how much it demanded to be felt, and how much it pushed her to impossibly do more. She didn’t know what else she could do, so she just held Aubrey even closer and breathed into the new facet to their relationship.

Where the only thing they made buck do was going after her for all america like a lost puppy and instead of worring for chris he spent 20 mins trying to find her present, and again he could have got her a crocodile and I still wouldn't care. Awww, thanks Nonnie, and I have been sitting on this for ages so I hope you manage to see it! I also do not care a single iota about her job, how she does it, how she feels about doing it, or anything about her family, and I'm eternally bitter we had to suffer through her taking up as much screen time as she did rather than seeing other calls (Ghost Roommate my beloved 😭😭😭), and other characters/dynamics.

I will say that I get what they are going for with the bt relationship with regards to Buck and his character growth but they managed to get the point across with Ana just fine so IDK why we needed all this background and screen time for a guest star. I will say it again, and forever, in a year when people are re-watching season 5, no one is going to care that the original air date was a week after Halloween, no one is going to care about seeing a side character investigating a call that has nothing to do with the firefam (that her involvement didn't even impact, because Lou already found the motel on his own and then the "hitman" confessed so....what did she even contribute?), and no one is going to care about seeing her backstory that also has nothing to do with the firefam or Buck.

Like, we didn't see all that much from Shannon but what we did see was directly relational to Eddie and Chris. We didn't get any backstory on her except in regards to how her choices affected Eddie and Chris because she wasn't ever meant to stick around. I don't know if killing her off was always the plan, but having her come back into and then leave their lives in the same season? It had to be part of the season outline. So we did see about her made sense because it was about Chris and Eddie, not about her.

Now, even the reporter's backstory was still framed from Buck's POV (we don't see her in a scene alone about it, we don't see her meeting with/talking to her dad or the lawyer or anything) it was still a whole bunch of stuff that's not directly relational to Buck and to his story, and the bigger plotlines for the show. That means, you can remove those scenes about her and not lose any of the threads of the show. And honestly, you could entirely remove every single one of her scenes for the entirety of 5a and...not lose much if anything important. The only thing I can think of that crosses over into the main plotlines are Buck thinking they are breaking up, and the Christmas gifts, which if they peppered in comments about a gf without showing her (like they did with Ali in season 2) and then had literally any random woman in 5x10 the story for Buck would be basically the same.

I have to say your crocodile comment made me think of 2x06 and the lizard that seemed to have a thing for her and it made me giggle! I also hope that their obsession with her is over now that Maddie and Chim (and baby Jee!) and Albert are all back. And after the way even the general audience has been frothing at the mouth to see her leave, fingers crossed she won't ever come back.

Let’s start with your first insult.  I didn’t start the “fandom mom” thing and yes, I am a very proud Mom in real life.  I’m also blessed as fuck to have lots of younger followers and friends who come to me for advice, support and encouragement and I love to be there for them in any way I can.  If they want to call me fandom mom or I want to refer to them as my fandom babies then it’s my right to do so as long as they’re ok with it.  And they are.  I’m sorry if you’re not getting enough love and support in your life because that’s obviously got to be the reason you’re coming at me.  I’d be happy to offer you the same love and support I give my fandom babies once you get your head out of your ass.

Moving on to “you’re only popular because you’re friends with some of the big writers who have talent, unlike you”.  You are absolutely right that I am friends with some amazing, brilliantly talented writers.  Big?  Actually I think most of them are kind of short, but I assume you mean big as in popularity?  See, the only people who are concerned with being “big” are jealous little sycophants who envy others for something they lack.  You say I’m popular, but do you know my follower count?  Have you seen my kudos/hit counts?  If you have then honey, why are you so obsessed with me?  But I digress.  Popularity is subjective and while I love having a bunch of followers it’s because I love to interact with other members of the fandom with something I love as much as HP and fanfic.  It’s amazing to be able to talk about it and share my excitement and love with other like-minded people.  

I’ve been blessed to make some amazing friends in this fandom and I’m not friends with them because of “popularity” or because of their talent.  I’m friends with them because they are fantastic people.  They just happen to be insanely talented as well.  

You absolutely have the right to think I’m untalented and a shitty writer.  Most of the time that’s how I feel about myself as well.  But you know what?  I enjoy writing and silly comments from a coward who can only say things like this on anon aren’t going to bother me.  I write for myself and I’m thankful for the people that enjoy what I publish.  No one is going to like everything and it doesn’t bother me if you think I suck.  

“All you write is smut and it’s not even that good.”  Well what can I say?  I like the smut.  I write what I enjoy and I really like smut.  Whether it’s good or not is a matter of opinion and honestly Nonny, from the way you phrased that you sound like a prude so best not read my fics then.  They’re full of smut, just the way I like it.

awww you’re the one that’s great nonnie! i love having these kinds of discussions so thank you nonnie for giving me a reason to talk about it and highlight it more (and hopefully educate some ppl in the process) lol, and tbh i totally agree with you on finding it exhausting and getting pessimistic about it, racism’s so fucking pervasive and a lot of white people don’t even realize just how pervasive it is (because they have the luxury of not having to deal with it)...every time i see a little white girl in cornrows or ‘boxer braids’ as they’ve been apparently renamed i wanna fucking scream and slap both her parents in the face, every time i see some white woman online doing a hair video on bantu knots or whatever ‘new’ way they’ve discovered to try and make their hair ‘fuller’ and more ‘curly’ (aka more like black people’s) or rocking some nasty ass fake ass dreads i wanna fucking rage because it’s the same goddamn hairstyles that black people have not only been persecuted and ridiculed for for centuries but are literally still being persecuted for to this very day by being denied entry to schools, fired and/or denied access to jobs, competitions and events, told their hair is ugly or unprofessional and doesn’t fit certain standards or requirements to be allowed in a particular place or event. but when white people do it it’s suddenly ‘trendy’ and ‘cute’ or a new fashion statement. and it’s the same for our language/the way we speak. when we do it we’re called stupid or told we don’t know how to speak english right and need to learn how to speak ‘proper’ english (nevermind that there’s tons of other recognized and legitimate dialects of english besides the the ‘standard’ or ‘proper’ one and ours is also one of them), but white people start talking like us online and they look ‘cool’ and ‘hip’ or they suddenly discover some ‘new’ (read: old) word or some ‘new’ thing that we’ve been using or doing for decades and then literally won’t. stop. fucking. using. it. to the point where it gets so overdone and overexposed/played out that even us black ppl don’t wanna use our own words anymore (thinking of twerking here, or ‘bae’). anyway now i’ve become the one that’s gone on a rant i didn’t even mean to go on lol but once again thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent and if you ever wanna come off anon and talk more about racial discourse or ziam or literally anything really lol, my proverbial door is always open nonnie :)

hey I loved your wedding art so much I was gonna take a look at your commission post(even tho I know I don't have any money lmao) but I just saw they are closed now oof but anyways thought I would let you know your art is amazing and keep it up!!! Great Effort and Practice, Practice, Practice! I hope you’re not getting sick with the word ‘Practice’, but that’s the reality. Nobody can just ace in something without a tonnes of practice. Try to draw something daily, even if it’s just some messy doodle in class, it still count as practice.

Watch YouTube tutorials. There’s actually many tutorials that you can found on YouTube. Seriously, they are ALL AMAZING! I don’t have any YouTuber preferences, cuz I tend to watch randomly, just any vids that I think interesting. When I was still noobies with digital art, YT vids are the most helpful thing in my life! I actually learn how to use layers, tricks, drawing hacks  and etc. from YT.

Referencesssssss…. for startup, this is the most important thing. You may be able to envision on what to draw in your mind, but somehow, when you want to start drawing, it just turns out blank cuz you don’t know how to do it. Drawing doesn’t have to just be about drawing whatever you imagine and tadaaa it’s done, sometimes you need references. In the past, I just referred from comic books, and some art magazine. There’s no Internet at my house at the time lol. I try to draw like in the comic, something like same pose but different hair or outfit. Well, now it is much easier. Everything is on the Internet. OH! I found this one amazing website which have great references if you want to practice on figure drawing, just click here! You can customize the settings whether u want to practice on facial expression, or hands, or body poses, or even animals. (WARNING: There’s nudity in there, but you can switch it off on the setting) It’s totally AWESOME!!!

Take a break in awhile. There will be times that you feel like you’re not making any progress. Your drawing sucks. It’s ugly. Why you can’t make it beautiful like his/her drawing? Why people kept criticizing your arts but exactly all you wanna do is make them happy. You can’t draw anything cuz you’re having the artist block. You starting to feel down and you want to give up. Yeah, I’ve been there. and still do. But don’t worry, it will pass. If you feel like things are getting pretty stressed up, just take a break. Try to do other things. Well, I prefer to just watch some movies, or blast some songs and sing my heart out, talk to someone I’m close to, or just go to sleep. Sometimes, all you need is just rest. Or maybe a hiatus to clear your mind. But don’t make it too long, cuz it could took quite some time to gain back your drawing skills (I learn it from my hiatus a while ago..I kindof  forgot how to draw faces, but it came back after a while hehe ^^).

Make a Personal Sketch Book. Sketchbook is like a necessity to me. It’s more like for doodles and some gibberish stuff I make up in there, but still it’s where I pour out everything I hold inside of me. If you’re creative enough, you can decorate it with stickers and washi tape etc. But I prefer mine to be just as it is. This book totally helpful if you want to look back on your old drawing or doodles, and even improving your art style. Any book that you’re comfortable to draw in it is cool. So far, I have three sketchbooks in my collection. Seriously, you will be super impress when you look back on your old sketchbook ^^ It’s FUN!
