ok so i think that we all agree on hobie being very into physical contact and touchy feely

it’s nice to have a reminder that someone’s there for you physically, things like leaning on each other of just linking a finger while walking are super significant to him cause it shows you’re not afraid of being close together, y’know ? i image that’s pretty crucial to him if he’s ever in a relationship

at the same time, if it’s not present from the start, i think he’d be more than willing to teach someone what it’s liked to be physically loved and appreciated

he doesn’t know what’s gone off in your life, if your lack of experience is due to some sort of trauma or it’s as simple as you’ve never had the chance to be close to someone in that way, he won’t hold it against you

maybe tease and taunt you a bit

he’s definitely respectful and drops topics like a pin if prompted, and will easily respect personal space if anyone ever seems a uncomfortable by his closeness

there’s no way you’ve managed to avoid the magnet of affection that is hobie brown, but if things like arms around your shoulder and waist, hugs and cuddles don’t bother you then he’s unsuspecting for now

maybe in spider society if you hang there, perhaps at either of ur cribs

and hobie just passively walks by or maybe you two have been hanging out all day

he sees you busy, wants to remind you he’s there

gives you the quickest little muah ever on ur temple or smthn

it’s casual to him, but he sees how ur expression immediately changes to a slightly started one, mixed with whatever else you’re feeling in that moment

it crosses his mind that you two have literally never kissed which is wild, now he’s amused by this revelation and is like “what?” (whot) while scheming and plotting in his head

you have your own reaction (or lack of) and hobie’s mildly entertained depending on it

just mad flustered ? he will weaponise this

if you seem genuinely uncomfortable by it then hobie’s gonna apologise and just wait for you to bring it up again before tryna kiss you again, he’s unbothered

if you explain that it’s just the piercing that caught you off guard and how cold it was, he’s laughing

Frank Morrison:

Not very overbearing with affection but also not lacking in that department either. He gives that love when he feels comfortable, and it feels like a special moment when he does.

Totally takes you to some part of the realm that has a bar or any type of food and classifies it as a date. Hey, he didn’t ask for the Entity to make every realm look ominous and disturbing and it’s the best he can do!

If Frank is ever feeling tired it’s sort of a requirement that you must sleep on his chest when he takes a nap. Ormond is very cold and so is he! No he does not need a blanket, you are enough :)

Frank is quite loving when you both are alone. He’s not too big of a fan of PDA and at most will do subtle hand touching/have an arm around your shoulder or some variation of it. When you both are out of any prying eyes Frank is a huge fan of affection. He gladly welcomes any hugs, kisses, and cuddles if you ever need them. His attitude won’t show it of course, but his actions always tend to speak louder than his words do.

Julie Kostenko:

She doesn’t often show love through touch, but rather through her words. She tells you she’ll do anything for you. That she’d kill for you. It sounds scary to hear at first, but to her it’s something a loving partner would do. When your other ‘friends’ don’t want to help you during trials, she will. By disposing of them

Starting some mayhem is a great date in her opinion. If that’s not your thing? That’s okay, she’s fine with holding you in her arms as she tells you about her latest trial. As persistent as she seems about things, she’s respectful of how you feel. She also wouldn’t mind being held either. Sometimes she needs a bit of loving too. Will she say so? Probably not.

Loves to just sit and talk with you about anything though anything horror or crime related is something she’d be glad to talk about as well. Nothing is better than having an arm around your shoulder as Julie laughs with you about how stupid some horror movies can be with stereotypes and dumb characters that die too quickly.

While Julie doesn’t usually give tons of affection, she’s not scared of giving you love in front of people. They need to know. If they want to take you from her? They won’t. Yeah, she often gets jealous of you being with the other survivors, how can you tell? Well.. probably by the way she insists on being overly affectionate right when you get to Ormond. Lots of love after a trial = Probably jealous Julie

Joey:

Huge hug lover ?? He gives very nice and warm hugs and he feels like he’s making you safe whenever his arms are around yours.

Joey is more of a casual dude but shows no shame in being romantic. If he wants to give you a kiss, he’s not going to be shy about it. Though he won’t make it incredibly obvious either. Joey just doesn’t care what other people think. If they have a problem with him giving you some well deserved love then they can talk to him about it and see what happens.

Joey loves to dress you up. More specifically dress you up as a Legion member. Not saying you have to, but hypothetically speaking he thinks you’d look pretty good as apart of The Legion in this outfit and mask he’s given you. Yeah it looks similar to his. It’s totally just a coincidence. Not like he’s been making numerous outfits for you just incase you’d want to join or anything..

Contrary to popular belief, I feel like Joey is one of the nicest Legion members. Having him as your s/o just makes him nicer (and more affectionate) if anything. Being with him never feels nerve wracking or stressful. He never expects anything out of you and he’s mostly fully supporting of anything you do. Just because he’s a sadistic killer doesn’t mean he’s going to treat you like one of his victims. He’s very sweet :)

Susie Lavoie:

More on the shy side of being affectionate but she will eventually grow into it. She just needs lots of reassurance from you :) It goes a long way with her.

Constantly makes you gifts that she often never received when she was younger. Whether it be something small like a custom pocket knife or a bracelet with both of your names on it with a little heart in between, she likes to make sure you’re appreciated and loved. Sometimes Susie doesn’t feel comfortable fully expressing herself through affection, so she’ll express herself through her gifts that she makes you.

Kisses you in a day more times than you can count. Whether it’s a shower of kisses or even just one singular kiss, Susie always tends to give a lot. She is quite touchstarved and covering your face and body in kisses is one of the ways she lets up all that pent up energy out. She may even say sorry for doing so much. She just loves you so much ! You make her so outgoing it’s crazy.

Please be patient with Susie when she has difficulties giving affection! She’s quite anxious about giving affection and tends to overthink it which then leads to her ultimately being uncomfortable with it. It’s very difficult for her and she can never quite fully understand her emotions when she feels this way. If you’re big on affection, don’t pressure her to give affection or to take it. The more welcoming you are of how she feels, the more comfortable she will get when she realizes that you are more than okay with her giving you affection. It’s very nice to see when she’s finally warmed up to it :)

☠ {Name} originally acted much like a drifter, going from place to place along the Grand Line. Even making it to the New World successfully on her lonesome. Tenacity and careful observation earned her an unusual reputation. One which caught the attention of the Revolutionary army and she was scouted by a young man by the name of Sabo. Since then she was able to use her abilities to help the R.A. Of course her travels were completely free aside from a few annoying reports that had to be written and secret meetings to be had. Even amongst all of this, {Name} met Shanks... one thing led to another they ended up together.

☠ After they had been dating for a relatively long while. Shanks already had an inkling that {Name} was involved with something aside from his crew. But it never ever harmed the crew and that was the important factor. He left his curiosities to lie, seeing that he truly trusts her. {Name} frequently went on her own adventures and Shanks didn't mind. So long as she returned safe and sound. {Name} would pay the courtesy of telling Shanks that she would be gone for a while and the estimated time of her absence.

☠ Shanks already had an idea of something going on, it wasn't a rival pirate crew. The way she would carefully pick apart and analyze every place they went to. Her sometimes frightening insight into things like leadership, politics and the dark underbelly of near every place they went was impressive but peculiar. Shanks would put it down to her being a genius, maybe someone with enjoyment for such things but still perfection goes hand in hand with practice. Meaning it was not a skill she just picked up without constant practice. In fact, he knew the information wasn't all that official and could be very different from what was in the books, but terrifyingly accurate to the truth.

☠ {Name} could see Shanks was anxious. He played it off often, everytime he saw her off. She caught those glimmers of care and concern in his eyes that watched her leave. The lack of knowing what she was actually doing and just having to wait until she came back must have been hard. {Name} had decided that maybe the truth was something Shanks needed to know. She planned and practiced how she would tell Shanks the truth, the R.A were not the most fondly looked at organization. There was more hate than love on occasion. She told him about her journeys... what she does, the little details of her scouting, uncovering the truth of people and places and delivering it in a concise report to the R.A as a means of change for those very same people and places. Shanks only listened on in silence, his expression gave nothing away. Not whether he was surprised, upset or relieved. He just listened. At the end of her explanation, Shanks smiled, a sigh of relief fell from his lips. "I'm really glad you told me... I'm not entirely happy because I know it's dangerous, but I won't stop you. You're doing what you think is right and I'm proud of you for that" Shanks delivered his words so sweetly, his concern and love lacing the undertones.

☠ Shanks still held his fair share of worries. Knowing just how the R.A is viewed, but he didn't fully disagree with them. Most of their actions were for the betterment of many people. That was something he could respect, considering all the nasty sides he had seen in the World Government and even more so in pirates alike. Shanks did not tell her to stop, but rather spouted as many ways to protect herself as possible.

☠ {Name} found his declarations of protection to be very endearing, and the tips of staying safe became a droning speech. Shanks concluded it with a simple "So, tell me more..." {Name} was more than happy to explain the ins and out of what she did, Shanks couldn't grasp all of it as it went over his head a bit. Though he could tell she had a real passion for it considering how brightly {Name} lit up while talking about it.

☠ {Name} was thankfully a bit more transparent about her work. When preparing to leave it wasn't a random "I'll be back in a week." Like before, she would tell Shanks where she was going and how long she expected to be there with a tad more detail. However, there was one thing Shanks would often ask "How dangerous do you think it's going to be this time?" Depending on her answer, Shanks wanted to make sure that she wasn't in any terrible danger, and if she was...then he wanted to be nearby to protect her.

☠ Shanks and {Name} had come to the agreement that all the information she could give, she would. The information she couldn't share with Shanks would remain her secret and he will not press for any details. While most would have felt insecure at the idea of keeping secrets and half truths, he respected {Name's} will above all else.

So, as I have researched, your dear Lucifer is a polite man, level-headed and has great manners!

I'd like to think that he likes to go on walks and such, just...enjoying the peace and quiet.

And where would that fit best?

Right.

A cemetery.

So, as he looks over the many graves, reading some familiar names to which he apologizes in his head, also wishing them a peaceful afterlife, he hears you.

You're not crying. Rather talking. Sitting in front of a row of graves, putting a different kind of flower species in a bouquet to every single grave which you've decided to grace with your presence.

Now, don't get me wrong. He didn't know that you were an angel, or a half angel, at least. You looked like a decent human to him.

But, he was intrigued with the way you spoke to a bunch of dead people as if they could hear you. But oh well, everyone had their fair way of coping when dealing with losing their loved ones.

Lucifer could see your face, you kneeled in front of a small grave, your hands starting to shake.

He goes over to you, ready to help, when he sees wings spreading out from behind your back.

He quickly looks around him as if to make sure that no one is here.

But surprisingly, there's no other person beside him except you and the hundred other dead people buried in the ground.

Then he mentally slaps himself, because why did he check if anybody was looking? those were your wings and not his.

Just as he could think deeper into this, you spoke up. "Oh, I'm so sorry, ah. Um, well, you see, those are....not-not ...real?", you muttered, gesturing to your very real looking wings. trying to lie. Too bad you were partly an angel, so not telling the truth was rather impossible for you.

He gave you a look.

To which you slumped your shoulders.

With a sigh, you introduced yourself. "My name is Yira Hideyo, and you are...?"

You didn't expect him to turn into a gentleman though. "I am Lucifer, also known as the King of the Light. And I couldn't help but notice how...etheral, you looked while you conversed with the gone."

You looked to the graves, a sad and solemn expression on your face. your wings dissapeared. "They're...my friends. They all died during a tragic incident. And what will happen now? Will you kill me?"

He was perplexed, to say the least. You elaborated. "Well, you're like, the king of the light, Lucifer, and you're most possibly a demon. My identity was revealed to you the moment I showed my wings to the public eye."

He sighed. "I am not really one to look for danger, war, or negativity. I want peace."

You didn't trust him at first, but after you two talked about what he was meaning and what you'd like for the world, you two started to become...aquaintances.

How you two got together:

Lucifer frequented that place from now on, in hopes of seeing you again. Because first of all, why was an angel like you here on earth? How did your friends die? And ... why did he even want to see you at all?

It all started to make sense when he felt weird sensations whenever you noticed him and waved at him. When you smiled.

When you talked to him about anything and everything. You leading the conversation and him following. A half angel and a demon falling in love with each other.

He asked you out to dinner, after half a year of getting close to you. He felt like you'd be right by his side. Even though you were a half angel, how you'd explained. You told him that you couldn't return home to the heavens, which is why you had to stay here on earth and mourn the dead.

But, you also had to look after an adoptive pet your higher ups have ordered you to. To look after a bunny.

His dinner plans might have been cancelled, but he got to meet an even softer side of you than he did the past months.

You were much more quiet, calm, slow and friendly around that little furball. He adored it.

"This...is a bunny." "Wanna pet it?" “Yes.”

And that’s how he knew that he fell in love with you. 

You were just so...friendly. You did as you were told. You were calm. And he was the same as you. He felt like being together with you would be a good option. So he asked you while laying his hand on that pet of yours. 

You were hesistant, of course. I mean, who wouldn’t be when a literal demon king would ask you to become his significant other. 

You didn’t care if the higher ups in heaven would cut off your wings, because you fell in love with the beautiful man too. 

You loved how well-spoken he was, or how much of a gentleman he could be. He looked at you with nothing but fondness in his eyes. 

You could remember vivdly when he showed you his illness and you just spoke a few spells to cure it (let’s just pretend it went like that), revealing not only a romantic personality, but good looks too.

And when the higher ups tried to take you to heaven to cut off your wings and turn you into a human or worse, a demon, Lucifer defended you, taking you, your belongings and your pet bunny with him to his home. 

There, you two stayed undercover. But, it was nice. To know that the King of Light would protect you from the people who sent you down to earth to do such...human things. 

Now, talking about your guys’ relationship (I’m sorry it took so long, I just tend to write much, like a story to get into the flow, you know?), I think that it would be a very calm and loving one. 

Lucifer would compliment your very appearance daily, also your voice when you sang a song, ask about the different kinds of flowers again and again so that he could burn them in his mind. 

His love language would be acts of service, like giving you gifts, doing some household chores when you were not able to, giving you a massage or just simply being with you in one room. 

This leads to his second type of love language. Along with acts of service, he would be really into quality time, and I think he would also be a touch-starved person. I headcannon that because of his illness, nobody wanted to get close to him in fear of getting infected, so when you touched his cheek or hand the first time, he felt anxious, telling you to not touch him. 

But, after talks and reassurements such as lingering touches, the demon finally gave in and let you hug him, which was something he never knew he needed until this very moment. He is a clingy, touch deprived gentleman. 

Referring back to your wings, I think he would be mesmerized. It could be the first time that he had seen a woman with the wings of a bird attached to her back. Leading to him constantly giving you back massages in hopes of getting your non-existent back pain from having such large wings away. 

He also asked you to show him your wings again, and when you also offered for him to touch them, he hesitated. But when he touched the feathers, ir felt like he touched clouds. Soft and fluffy to the touch.

To the topic of you being some sort of half angel, Lucifer thought that you could have done womething wrong. 

But then you explained to him that you were about to become an angel. You were just a dead person, who has done too many good deeds to go to her afterlife. And that was how you were practically forced to watch your loved ones either keep climbing up to heaven or slide down to enivetable hell. 

Some nights would be spent with you crying over all the people you had to leave in order to become an angel, but you didn’t even accomplish that- to which Lucifer felt very guitly. It was his fault that you couldn’t become a full angel after all. 

When he asked you what a whole angel could do, you only shrugged your shoulders in childish wonder, because you genuinly didn’t know the answer either. 

That was how he promised himself to take care of you from now on, so that these stupid higher ups wouldn’t take you from him.

So, all in all, your guys’ relationship would be very sweet and loving. Even though there would be some dark moments with you thinking about your dead friends, and Lucifer thinking about putting hell and earth (or was it heaven??) together, you two would always comfort each other.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon: so i've actually always had the headcanon that octane gets SUUUUUPER passive aggressive when angry and season 9 onwards has kinda proven me right lmao. i think he would need to be the right combo of drunk and truly pissed off to like, yell and all that, but for the most part he would just be like. mean girls level of petty and passive aggressive and vindictive. see the season 14 interactions where he laughs like a huuuuge bitch @ seer for literally no reason LMAO

☾ - sleep headcanon: stays up literally all week chugging energy drinks, then passes out late saturday evening and sleeps all the way until monday morning. gets hot easily so he kicks all the covers off. and since he's used to sleeping on that beanbag in his dropship room he sleeps all curled up in a ball.

✿ - sex headcanon: literally always down to fuck even if he isn't actually in the mood. sex is really casual to him and asking if he wants to have sex is kind of just like asking if he wants a snack. he'll take it even if he's not hungry because it'll be satisfying regardless. also he's a bottom bitch but will top OCCASIONALLY and has a horrific green strap-on for such occasions

☠ - angry/violent headcanon: of the three crypto is probably the most prone to violence when angry? he never gets violent with people but he is very much a "turns and kicks the car/wall/table etc" kind of person when something is angering him. he is also kind of always seething. just in a shit mood sometimes and finds everything annoying and is plotting his revenge internally. he never acts on it but it's thereupetic to him. he'll probably get over it when he stops feeling crushed under the weight of the Horrors

☾ - sleep headcanon: very light sleeper, jerks awake at the smallest of noises if he can even fall asleep in the first place. sleeps on his back usually and always wakes up with his hand under his shirt for some reason.

✿ - sex headcanon: i know it does nawt seem that way based on all my cryptane fics but crypto is definitely the horniest one between them even if octane usually proposes because he's more forward about stuff. i think he just has a lot of frustration towards...Everything, in general, and sometimes instead of acting out violently due to that frustration he'll just get horny. angry horny. and also he has a very vivid imagination and is definitely far kinkier than he will ever admit to octavio

☼♡☠ - the Avengret story!

☼: how i came up with the idea - I'd love to know the answer to that one too. It's one of those random flashes from out of left field, from a myriad of factors lining up and going "Uh, I need a prompt answer sooooo”...and just throwing something on a page and it kept going. It started with the "Paternal" prompt in 2020's FFXIV Write, taking 2 job trainers Aeryn and I are both fond of, and spitting out a reason for them to interact that somehow led to a story of her birth father. A year later, the thread picked up suddenly and spun out across multiple prompts and free writes. Avengret was a spur of the moment creation who sort of shoved her way into my WoL's canon.

♡: my favorite part - This is hard, favorites are hard!! Maybe writing Estinien; I started this game as a DRG main back in 2015 up until 4.1's release, so the DRG chars are special to me, and writing Grumpy Dragoon Bro's POV was fun, how he saw folks in Revenant's Toll, Tailfeather, and his interactions with Aeryn, Thancred, and of course Alberic which is the one thing Endwalker didn't give us in detail (silently to the side, maybe) but also didn't kill my little headcanon so hey.

Also deciding to use the Azem crystal as a call for help, thinking it was a one-time-thing in the MSQ and a MacGuffin that'd be forgotten, and then Endwalker happened and showed it as a continuing in-lore method for the WoL to summon allies to a fight after all, and I was gleeful as I had done it a few months before the expac even dropped.

☠: something i found challenging - The revision is killing me. There's a scene I want to add (Aeryn & Heustienne focused) that isn't working, and part of it is 1) combat and 2) I think I'm just wanting it to balance present versus past scenes, especially early on.

Figuring out how and why this story even worked; Alberic was easy enough to sort out the secret-keeping; he's done it before, and since he hadn't seen Aeryn since she was a little girl over 20 years before, it did work initially that he didn't immediately remember. When he did, everything with Estinien, and then the political ramifications for her and the Scions in Ishgard, made that dangerous to bring up. But the dragons? Well, for the sake of plot beats, the dragons' lore, both the overall meta as well as the situation with mortals in Coerthas and Dravania, made it a thing they'd also keep pretty quiet about until asked. They may have not realized Aeryn wasn't aware of her bloodline's more recent sins during the initial roadtrip, and their reluctance and hostility was already baked into the story. As they realized she didn't know over time, they still wouldn't likely volunteer that information--especially the ones familiar with Avengret herself.

Combat's always rough, of course. So are smutty scenes.

Big thing is voice; there's a few different POVs at play; Corran, Aeryn, Alberic, Estinien, X'rhun, Emelia. Making them sound and feel different, see things differently--especially given the 20 year timeline involved--is always a trick I worry about.

Otherwise just finding time to do the clean up and shuffling around (chronological, merging or splitting some scenes, do I include the smut as a chapter? so on). Doesn't help I've got other writing projects going on eating up said time, as well as just wanting to play the game and do other things! I need more hours in a day...

Anyway. Plan is to get this sucker on Ao3 sooner or later. Until then, it's still in the FFXIV Write 2021 posts, and the breakdown on the master list shows which ones are related to that storyline.

Headcanons: Jealous! Shanks, Smoker, Killer, Whitebeard x F! Admiral

Shanks

☠Shanks was not a man who experienced things like jealousy easily, at least with most people. Until it came to {Name}, already due to their circumstances the time they spend together is drastically cut, considering she is a marine admiral after all. His bouts of jealousy tend to be pretty subtle, but are easily given away when he is overtly affectionate and protective over {Name}

☠He is easily wound up when he finds other Marines trying to flirt with her, or even pirates. It’s to be expected, considering how charming {Name} is. However, this is something that drives him up the wall and leaves him feeling restless.

☠ Shanks admittedly gets annoyed when {Name} ‘ignores’ him and goes chasing after another pirate. He tries to cause a bit of ruckus and mischief in the hopes that she will come personally to make sure he settles down…his luck has not been the greatest though.

☠ Whenever he does have {Name} all to himself and they are able to spend time together, especially when feeling jealous Shanks will be incredibly needy and seeking attention. Loving any and all affection and attention {Name} gives him. If he feels the ‘necessary’ attention is lacking, Shanks will sulk.

☠ {Name} knows Shanks well enough to know when he is sulking and when he is jealous, when in this state she will be very doting and pampering towards him in the hopes of cheering him up.

☠On one occasion, Shanks actually ‘kidnapped’ {Name}, so by technicality she would not be neglecting her duties and they could spend time together… the initial trigger to this was when he noticed one of the Marine captains was feeling quite smitten by {Name}

Captain Smoker

💨It is very obvious when Smoker is jealous; he makes no attempt to hide it and in fact embraces it. It does add an inclination to impulsive behaviour on his part as well as some passive aggressive tendencies towards his partner (in a sense it’s his way of sulking) Especially since {Name} is a centre point of attention for a lot of other Marines…he is easily annoyed by her ‘fans’

💨 When people pay too much attention to {Name} that are not with a completely friendly intention is when he gets irritable and jealous, especially since {Name} has other Marines that work directly underneath her, she often spends more time with them than with him.

💨Don’t even get him started on the pirates that flirt with her… The amount of times he was so tempted to arrest Crocodile and Doflamingo for making passes on his partner…lowkey might have added to his reasoning behind wanting to abolish the warlord system. (And don’t even get him started on that accursed Shanks)

💨Smoker constantly tries to find reason to motivate why he should accompany {Name} on their missions, although she is already enough military might on her own…backup is still necessary or so he claims. On the few rare cases where they say yes, he spends all of his time alongside {Name}, never leaving her side and is particularly harsh on anyone who tries to flirt with her.

💨 {Name} finds the obstinate side of Smoker amusing, since he has the tendency to wholeheartedly deny that he is jealous, at least when she asks. Despite how blatantly obvious it really is. {Name} makes sure to stay by him and spend time with Smoker as a way to reassure him.

💨Smoker enjoys when she is being affectionate, sometimes the public displays can embarrass him slightly…but has no issue when believing that someone needs to get the message that {Name} is off limits.

Killer

🍜Very jealous but handles it in a very subtle way and honestly tries to keep it to himself mostly. Killer does trust {Name}, there is no denying that…but even so, he finds himself getting jealous over things such as their lack of time together. Also due to her position as an admiral, and him being a pirate… their relationship isn’t something that is easily made public.

🍜Since their relationship is not made public, a lot of people automatically assume that {Name} is single and therefore they can flirt or make passes, especially that thought riles Killer up and leaves him feeling very restless. Unknown to Killer that {Name} actually tells people she is married so they can stop the incessant flirting.

🍜They constantly try to meet up as much as they possibly can. Considering it is something akin to a ‘forbidden’ romance does add a lot of fire, but also insecurity. On one occasion their relationship was made known to a few other marines when they decided to ask {Name} on a date, only to be knocked out by a very annoyed Killer.

🍜Killer does try to keep it to himself and hide any obvious notions of his jealousy from {Name}, but there are certain habits he has when he is feeling jealous. Things like being much more possessive, always needing to be around her and holding a hand or hugging, also much more reluctant to show his face since he is worried that she will be able to tell from his expression.

🍜Killer nearly died of a heart attack when he met up with {Name} and saw she was wearing a ring, until she explained the reason…Since she knows that he can get worked up easily and worries for her. {Name} decided to wear a ring and tell people she was married, so although they don’t know it’s Killer…they do know she belongs to someone. It was her bit of reassurance for Killer.

🍜He was so touched by her thought, he smothered {Name} in hugs and kisses. Making up for all the ones he missed. Plus extra, for {Name} being amazing. There was another thing however on Killers mind, he was considering properly marrying {Name} seeing how everyone already knows her to be married.

Whitebeard (Edward Newgate)

🎅Not easily made jealous, there are actually very few instances where he acts on jealousy. Often times lectures his sons about jealousy, so he tries to abide by what he teaches, besides he trusts his partner implicitly. Despite that, he is unfortunately not immune to the green eyed monster, although rare, there are instances where he finds himself unsettled by jealousy.

🎅His jealousy only peaks when they have not seen eachother for a long time, should {Name} come to see him and find herself being crowded by the crew, averting her attention is the only time Whitebeard will find himself getting annoyed, which is why there is generally a certain amount of time where the deck will be off limit to the crew to allow them to spend time together.

🎅{Name} is an admiral…the unfortunate downfall of the position which puts her under direct command of the celestial dragons. On one occasion, Whitebeard had heard that one of the celestial dragons liked her so much, they tried to enslave her until it was argued that an admiral is such a valuable military force that they should leave her be…{Name} found herself having to attend to the snobs every beck and call sadly. The whole crew had to stop him from rampaging and declaring war…

🎅 He is very good at hiding his jealousy under quips, sometimes less than obvious passive aggressive commentary towards sources of irritation, she can easily recognise it though.

🎅His partner does try her best to reassure him, and spend time with him. The time they spend together does settle any jealous feelings. Although the distrust is never aimed at {Name} but more the people around her, especially people like celestial dragons. More than anything Whitebeard is annoyed since his quality time with {Name} is quite minimal due to their positions.

🎅 Has made remarks in jest about kidnapping {Name} and making her into a pirate, just so they can spend more time together.

I so rarely headcanon sad stuff because, well, it’s sad and that’s just not where I want to focus my energy, usually, but it’s part of life and sometimes you gotta be sad...  

Tim’s dad is still around and Tim actually looks an awful lot like him.  Lucy learns the first part pretty early into their friendship but the second part only becomes relevant, really, when they discover they’re expecting their first child.  She finds Tim staring at a photo, clearly a little worn, that features Tim styled as a 1970′s hearthrob holding a blonde, blue eyed toddler that has a wide, familiar smile stretched across his cute little face.  Little by little, it comes out that Tim sees his dad when he looks in the mirror and he’s mostly made peace with it until the reality of becoming a father starts to settle in and suddenly his fears about becoming *his* dad are all too real and staring back at him everyday.  One of the worst parts, Tim confides, is knowing that it wasn’t all terrible and horrible and no good all the time.  Tim isn’t really the crying type but Lucy will never mind holding him and doing her best to smother him in affection until he feels better.  To be honest, even years later, when they’re on number three, Tim’s not magically past his fears and insecurities but Lucy’s strategy remains the same because, well, it works.

☆ - happy headcanon

Tim is competitive, like, really competitive.  Maybe not Nolan’s level of willing to cut you off at the knees in a heartbeat, but still.  Competitive.  And Lucy hates being told she can’t do something or failing, yeah, but she doesn’t care about winning for the sake of winning usually.  By the time they start dating, though, she develops a healthy appreciation for winning mostly because it’s so fun to get Tim riled up.  It’s especially fun when she wins without actually meaning to.  She soothes his bruised ego in other ways.  Besides, have you seen who Tim surrounds himself with?  It’s not like he really minds losing to kickass women.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon

Tim isn’t the only one who goes looking for a fight sometimes.  Tim’s worked out most of his really toxic, traumatic past or his anger with it anyway.�� Lucy, on the other hand, still ends up in the gym some nights destroying the bag, punching until her knuckles are bruised through her wraps.  Tim had only made the mistake of offering to spar with her when she was in that mood once.  She’d been out for blood and he’d been trying to avoid hurting her back.  He still waits for her, watches sometimes, but he doesn’t interfere when he recognizes that’s her headspace.  He’s been there, he’s made his mistakes, Lucy deserves to make her own too.  Besides, beating the shit out of the precinct’s battered equipment is a much better choice than challenging a biker gang.

■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

When they finally move in together, it doesn’t feel immediately right.  Well, it does, but the space doesn’t.  Tim likes his house, he’s made it his own, and Lucy has no problem sliding right in.  The problem isn’t her in his space or integrating into his life and routine.  That happened a long time ago, if they’re both being honest.  The problem is that *this* house was the one he and Isabel bought together, where they plotted their future, envisioned a family.  It’s not the place he and Lucy picked out and planned for.  So it’s okay, this house, for the time being, but they both know it’s not where they’re going to build their life together, it’s not their home.  When they do move to a new place, one they research and decide on and buy together, nobody mentions that the place is bigger than you might need for just two people (shut it, Lopez) and nobody “accidentally” includes a buybuybaby gift card in their housewarming present (oh my god, Jackson!).

Shanks

☠ Most people found it quite an interesting combination, since {Name} seemed very quiet and shy although they were only quiet around people they didn’t know well. When they were with Shanks they were very talkative

☠{Name} is quite shy, which is quite surprising considering how much of a social butterfly Shanks is… most people automatically assume that they would be the same, luckily Shanks is there to get them out of social situations

☠Shanks is quite happy that {Name} is so curious, since they are always eager to find and explore new places and they especially enjoy doing it with him.

☠{Name} tends to socialise only with people they knew, so they generally stick very close to Shanks and he always finds them so adorable and would easily fluster them by telling them that.

☠{Name} was so eager to explore they were growing restless, Shanks was actually very happy to see them so excited to go and see the new island.

☠ “Shanks, can we go together?” {Name} asked meekly, even when it came to asking him for things they had the tendency to be shy. Shanks wrapped them in a tight hug. “Of course {Name!}”

Roronoa Zoro

⚔ Zoro was surprisingly very taken with {Name} but it was a bit of a challenge getting them to open up due to their shy nature, but it made him even more determined.

⚔When Zoro had introduced {Name} to the other Straw-Hats, they were quite overwhelmed by the very busy crew, {Name} actually shrunk back and hid a bit behind Zoro

⚔Though when they finally got to see the Sunny, {Name} lit up with excitement and curiosity being very eager to explore… but {Name} wanted Zoro to go along with them as their guide… a lesson well learnt.

⚔ Zoro was the first to defend {Name} when people assumed they were being rude since they wouldn’t often talk to anyone besides Zoro

⚔ “Zoro… What’s his name?” {Name} was pointing to his crewmates and trying to learn their names, since they were Zoro’s family after all and {Name} wanted to grow a bit more acquainted with them.

⚔ Zoro told {Name} the wrong name for Sanji and when they called them that and realized it wasn’t his name, they retreated so quickly from the situation after apologising profusely

Eustass Kid

🛠 At first, Kid found {Name} annoying…until he got to know them and actually found them to be so wonderful compared to what he initially thought, eventually growing accustomed to their shy nature

🛠Kid was quite overprotective of {Name} and they were a bit intimidated when they got to meet his crew, despite everyone being very welcoming and kind, {Name} still stuck very close to Kid.

🛠Kid actually loves when his partner gets curious, the way they light up and get so happy when they discover new things. Kid was working on one of his little projects, and {Name} watched him the whole time with so much fascination

🛠 Kid loves the sweet little tug he gets on his arm when {Name} wants to go check something out and being a bit too shy to ask so that was used as their indication.

🛠 “Kid…there’s a lot of people there” {Name} would grow a bit antsy around large crowds, though Kid would pull them close and tell them to ignore all the people. Since they didn’t matter

🛠Kid absolutely loved teasing {Name} with things like him telling them to give him a kiss
