|| I've had this thought for a WHILE now but kept forgetting to make a post about it, but Idia is SO difficult to interact with and/or form any sort of relationship with... I try to write him as close to canon as possible, and that means that not only is he super reclusive, but he's kind of an asshole XDD Most interactions with him will be like running face-first into a brick wall...and I'm sorry about that XDD

That's especially true with any sort of relationship, ESPECIALLY romantic.!! Even just as friends, it takes a lot for Idia to warm up to someone, and don't expect him to want to hang out with you (if he can tolerate your muse, he'll want to play games with them online. not irl.) Unless a character has a "key" to him (like some REALLY STRONG similar interest), he'll avoid talking to them at all costs. And if you can get close to him, he'll only want to talk to you online.

It's even worse with romantic relationships. There may be exceptions to this in the future, but the only way for him to form a very close bond (like romantic or really close platonic bond) is if you have known him for a while. People/ocs from his past work for this, but even characters like Azul who he has been good friends with for over a year. The only exception to this so far is Vil, but that's only because of how he reached Idia in book 6.

So in short, if you want to get close to a dark third year, you'd have MUCH better luck getting close to Malleus... Idia is just super difficult and any substantial relationship must be plotted. And as for romantic relationships...he is ridiculously selective XDD

|| Soooo a vast majority of my mutuals I haven't really even talked to before.... This is because I'm a really shy bean, plus I haven't really had time to chat until now.!! So, let's have a little interaction/plotting call for those I've barely (or haven't at all) interacted with!!

EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

This is a friendly reminder to never, ever publish your book with a publishing company that charges you to publish with them. That is a vanity press, which makes money by preying on authors. They charge you for editing, formatting, cover art, and more. With most of these companies, you will never seen a cent of any royalties made from sale of your book. A legitimate publishing company only makes money when you make money, they will never charge you to publish with them. If a company approaches you and says "Hey, we'll publish your book, just pay us X amount of money," tell them to go fuck themself and block them.

Terms like "asshat," "head-up-ass," "up their own ass," and "high on their own farts" exist. There's also words like crap, dogshit, half-assed, assclown, and chucklefuck. And on the less vulgar side, there are terms like ridiculous, nonsense, train wreck, pointless, insipid, self-absorbed, pretentious, annoying, boring, contemptible, vile, and disgusting.

Substituting words like restarted, poptarted, brain damaged, smoothbrain, etc. is still ableist, because either 1. you obviously still mean the r-word, or 2. you're still using disability as an insult.

|| I think it's been around half a year since I last mentioned this (and i don't think i have it on my rules) so I'm gonna say it again for my new mutuals.... If you want to ship with my ocs, PLEASE let me know!!

I love my ocs so much and I make a lot of posts about them, but actually bringing them up to someone in a conversation is very different. I have a lot of anxiety about talking about my ocs one-on-one with someone..!! Even just sending an ask/liking a starter call for one of my ocs takes a lot of courage on my part.!!

It's not that I don't want to ship with my ocs. I would love more ships with them, and honestly I'd feel super giddy and happy if you brought up shipping with them XDD However, anxiety is a bitch and it makes me feel like people would be annoyed or something if I offered my oc to them. Or something like that. And I know it's stupid and people don't actually think that, but that's just what my brain does..!!

Unless we have been friends for years or something, I most likely will never offer my ocs up for ships. It isn't that I don't want to, I'm just too nervous to bring it up. So if any of you ever want a ship that includes one of my ocs, PLEASE let me know because chances are I ship it too but was just too anxious to say anything..!! 😅😅 Don't be nervous about requesting to ship with my oc(s), it would honestly make my day to get a message for that!! BUT I'm an anxious bean so I won't bring it up first....

The usernames may be identical to people who exist on ao3, but the name is not clickable, and no profile is associated with it EXCEPT when you directly search for that name. What this means: the comments come from an unregistered (not logged in) reader, bots scrape the site for real usernames, attach that to the comment, and post

Please spread the word about this so authors can filter comments and report them accordingly

There has been some speculation about why this is happening at all, and the best guess is that this is a feature that AI-training story-scraping tools are implementing to try and make their browsing traffic look legitimate
