Chapter 19 – Halloween Special 🎃

Content Warning, this is intended for people that are 18+ and this chapter includes swearing, ddlg themes, abdl themes, smut, mentions a knife, drugging, alcohol, murder, cannibalism, punishment. Let me know if I need to add more.

October 31st 2017

Jessica’s POV

As soon as I heard the birds chirping outside, I was awake. I sat up in my crib and impatiently waited for them to come get me. I must have waited for what felt like hours, but eventually dada came into my room “good morning sunshine.” He greeted me with a groggy voice. Excitedly I yelled back, “GOOD MORNING DADA, It’s Halloween!” I bounced up and down in my crib. Dada isn’t much of a morning person, but I did manage to get a giggle out from him. “Indeed, it is little one, why don’t we get you up and ready, big day today.”

When I was finally changed, we headed to the kitchen where Daddy was already preparing our breakfast. I ran up to him and gave him a big hug. “Good morning princess, are you excited about today?” He picked me up and placed me in my highchair. Daddy put down a bowl of cheerio’s in front of me and put a bib around my neck. “Of course, daddy, I gets to dress ups and has lots of candy and scare people with my scary costume. It’s gonna be EPIC.” “Scary costume? I thought you wanted to be a princess?” I dropped my spoon into my cereal, causing a little splash of milk to fall. “A princess? Um no daddy, I’m gonna be like our victims. All bloody and lots of cuts and bruises. Why would I wanna be a princess, I’m always one anyway.” Completely shocked daddy’s mouth was wide open. This wasn’t a part of their plan. A couple of days ago, we talked about what we wanted to be, daddies opted to keep theirs a secret, but they wanted to keep me cute and adorable. A princess outfit was brought up multiple times. I simply nodded not wanting to get into trouble. Clearing his throat, dada responded “why don’t we eat breakfast first before it gets cold.” I looked up at him confused. It’s cereal, it’s supposed to be cold. ——

I ran into my room as fast as possible to pick out a good outfit. Daddy wasn’t long after me. “I wanna wear this and be covered in blood.” I say pointing out to my favourite summer dress, the one I wore on me and daddy’s first date. He crouched down to look at me eye to eye. “Listen princess…” he said sternly. Immediately I knew where this was going and decided to throw a fit. I wanted to be one of our victims and that’s final. Daddy wasn’t impressed with my fit and gave me a red bottom and a timeout. Time out ended up with me falling asleep. I swear daddy gotta stop putting sleepy milk into my cereal.

4 hours later:

Dada came and got me from timeout, “Compromise honey, that’s all I’m asking.” Sighing I let him carry me into the living room. I gasped as soon as I saw everything. The place was completely decked out in decorations. It looked amazing. There were skulls on the dining room table along with cut up fingers and other body parts scattered throughout the room. They did an amazing job making the place look super scary. Placing me down on the ground, I went to go explore and admire their handy work. Daddy came over and placed a snack in front of me. It was melon eyeballs, heart shaped strawberries and mummy hotdogs. He even added ketchup to look like blood. “Daddy?” “Yes honey.” “I’m sorry for throwing a fit.” “It’s okay, just eat up sweetie, soon it’ll be time to go trick or treating.”

Daddy didn’t need to tell me twice. I practically inhaled my snack before going back to my room to compromise on my costume. I came out holding a pretty princess dress. Daddy was thoroughly impressed. We got dressed into our costumes. Daddy was dressed up in his surgical outfit. Sure, it was covered in blood, but it wasn’t scary. Dada went for a more non scary traditional look, a vampire. He claimed that he was just too sexy to be scary. I disagree, I’ve seen him scary. Brutally attacking and hurting… what was her name again. Oh yeah, Bunny. Thankfully she’s too tired to come out and play. Can’t have her ruining things. She might not want to be a part of the family anymore, but I do.

We were just about to head out. I headed to the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife ever. Daddy was just about to yell at me before I said “compromise.” He turned his head and glared at dada, who went complete red in the face. “Now sweetie, you know the rules?” “Yes daddy, Rule number one, don’t run away. Rule two, only speak when spoken to. Rule three, look cute and adorable.” I let out a giggle with the last one. Both Daddy and Dada did too. ——

We hit up the hot spots, I mean there wasn’t really anywhere to go. The lake had become a very popular tourist destination. Lots of families came and left, some unfortunately met my daddies and didn’t leave at all. But at least most cabins were occupied. We went to the grocery & gun store. We made our way over to some of daddies friend’s houses, Marc was impressed with my costume and gave me an extra-large handful and some money. Sarah and Sam were health freaks, they gave me nuts, apples and one piece of candy. I still thanked them, but I poured the rabbit food into Dada’s basket maybe he could give them to Bunny. Thankfully I had a full basket of goodies before heading home.

The last house on the tour was Dada’s old house. A bunch of young girls came up to celebrate Halloween week. I looked at my daddies, once I got the approval, I knocked. The door was flung open. A brunette was standing there in the skimpiest outfit. “Trick or treat.” The girl was taken back. Maybe it was the alcohol. “Oh, I’m sorry, I don’t have anything. Aren’t you a little old to be trick or treating?” Daddy stepped in and answered, “She has developmental issues, she looks like she 8/9 but she’s really like 4.” The girl took in his words and immediately changed her tone. “Well don’t you look adorable, I’m sure your…” “Daddies.” Said dada. “I’m sure Daddies are super-duper proud of you. You look so adorable.” I thanked her and she let out a little aww.

Daddies did the talking and invited the girls over to our party. They were in awe when they saw how we decorated the house. Stepping inside further, they didn’t hear the front door being locked. They were complimenting daddies on their work. Dada offered the girls a drink which they gladly accepted. I sat on the couch and started to count my candy. Daddy came over and kissed my forehead “don’t be eating any of that until after.” I wanted to argue but I didn’t cause I knew Daddy would send me to my room and I didn’t want to miss out on the fun.

Drinks in hand, the girls started to completely flirt with my daddies. One of them caressed Daddy’s chest. Another placed a hand on Dada’s boy part. He didn’t flinch or move her hand. This went on for a while. I had moved onto colouring in my new colouring book. It was spooky themed. That was until a red head, drunkenly pointed out the decorations “Wow these look amazing, they almost look real.” She exclaimed. “That’s because they are.” Said daddy. The girls laughed thinking he was joking. Daddy doesn’t like it when people don’t take him seriously. “What’s so funny?” He asked. The brunette responded “these can’t be real, where would you even find them. Doubt eBay or Amazon would sell them.” Daddies looked at each other. The girls started to get nervous. Dada finally moved the girls hand “well, we normally don’t eat the eyes or fingers. They go to the bears and other animals. And there’s been plenty of innocent people wander around our property.” He said walking towards them. “Just one wrong move and then… BAM!” The girls jumped but laughed when dada had a big smile on his face.

Knowing where this was going, I tided up my stuff, I grabbed my knife and headed over to daddy. I handed him the knife and got a kiss on the lips as a thank you. The girls looked disgusted and confused. Daddy reached around and handed me a smaller and less scary knife “you’ve been such a good girl today honey, do you want to make the first move?” Without hesitation, I lunged towards the brunette. Stabbing her with my knife into her tummy. The other girls screamed but my daddies were soon on them, and their screams and cries stopped, eventually. The living room was quiet, four girls lay on the ground, bloody and dead. I handed daddy my knife and let out a big yawn. Today was exhausting. Picking up on my sleepiness, Daddies brought me into my room. Obviously making sure they were definitely dead. They quickly got me changed, my bloody princess dress thrown into the hall to be washed.

They placed me down in my crib. “Thank you, Daddy and Dada, for the best Halloween ever.” “You’re welcome pumpkin.” Said dada. “You better get to sleep little one, lots of candy to be eaten tomorrow.” Said daddy. Before closing my eyes, I asked “can we have your famous spaghetti and meatballs for lunch tomorrow?” “Of course, little one, I’m sure we’ll have them ready for you by then.” Said daddy softly. They placed a kiss on my forehead before leaving. I turned over and fell asleep feeling loved and part of the family.

Vladimir :

This is the worst party of the year for Vladimir. For as long as he can remember, he has never liked it. Even as a child, when he went door-to-door with his brothers and sisters to get treats, he found it horrible. People wore scary costumes, you had to talk to complete strangers, and he was always afraid that someone would poison the treats they gave him. The worst was when his mother would tell horrific stories by the fire. There was only the light of the fireplace and a candle to illuminate them and in the end, he always ended up cuddling up to his father for fear of seeing a ghost or demon in one of the dark corners of the living room.

It took several weeks for Beliath to convince him to dress up at one of his parties. When Beliath managed to convince him, he had to struggle to find a costume he liked. Vladimir is very critical of the texture of the clothes and despite Beliath's insistence, he did not want to dress up as a vampire, let alone be forced to wear make-up to do so (he finds make-up very unpleasant on his skin). What worries Vladimir the most is that he will be made fun of with his costume. In the end, he agrees to disguise himself, but he disguises himself as George Wickham from Pride and Prejudice. Beliath sincerely thinks that it is not a horrified disguise, but he does not insist any further.

He never tells stories by the fire. He usually sits next to Raphael to reassure (in all honesty he is at least as scared as he is, but for once he is not the one who looks scared, and he enjoys it). After that, he always goes back to his room with Raphael and it's always in these moments that he realizes that the manor makes a lot of scary noises.

The only time he helps Beliath decorate the manor is to carve pumpkins. It's something he really enjoys doing, as it was the only thing he liked to do during Halloween when he was a kid. But as much as he enjoys doing it, he's not a very efficient helper for Beliath, he spends twice as much time as the others on his pumpkin, in the end it's probably the most successful but he never has time to do more than two or three.

He likes sweets, but not to the same extent as Raphael. In general, he will eat mostly Tagada strawberries and Carambars (almost exclusively caramel).

Spiritism was very fashionable in his time. He has suspected Ivan and Ethan of having done Ouija in the living room for some time, but he has no proof except that the piano has been playing by itself for some time and that the reflections in the living room windows seem strange. Moreover, Aaron totally refuses to believe him and only Beliath agrees with him. This clearly doesn't reassure him, and he'd really like to know what the two younger kids have been up to, at least to get rid of whatever's lying around the living room before there's a real problem.

He never makes jokes intended to frighten others, be it humans or his roommates. This is mainly because he doesn't like to be scared himself and he doesn't like to laugh at the fear of others. According to him, this is not how his parents raised him.

Béliath :

He never had the chance to go trick-or-treating as a child, because Halloween wasn't really like it is now. And because, even if it had been, his mother would never have let him go and have fun. So Halloween is something he discovered when he started living among humans and it immediately became his favourite time of the year. He loves going to look at the decorations on houses, dressing up and telling horror stories in the dark. He has a bit of trouble understanding why everyone is not in as good a mood as he is when October comes around.

He has a Halloween-themed party every year. And yes, everyone must come dressed up, even his roommates. It took a lot of convincing to get some of them to come. In particular, Vladimir, Raphaël and Aaron. But they finally gave in to please him. Beliath, him, dresses up as a vampire, and the more cliché the better! He also does his best to make sure that everyone has at least as much fun as he does.

He doesn't tell the most horror stories, he knows enough, but he clearly doesn't have Aaron's storytelling skills, so he gladly gives up his seat to hear another horrific wolf story. He doesn't usually find Aaron's stories scary. He's half-demon himself, so knowing that Aaron has fought one doesn't really bother him. Well, to a certain extent... He can't deny that the wolf tells the horror stories really well and that he sometimes feels a bit wary when he returns to his room.

He does most of the decorating, whether it's hanging witches, skeletons, or carving pumpkins. He also likes to do this last activity in groups. Even if his roommates don't always have the same notion of a scary pumpkin as he does, nor the same talent, nor the same speed. He has already tried to carve faces in other vegetables, notably in a courges galeuse d'Eysines or in a turnip, but if for the first he liked the result., it is not really the case for the second one.

He doesn't really like sweets. Well, he doesn't hate it either, but he usually buys it for Raphael. A good part of the candy budget is dedicated to Raphael, much to the older delight. As for him, he is usually satisfied with Liquorice Root Sticks (he buys them secretly because he feels a bit stupid chewing on a piece of wood, it's not very classy according to him).

He tried to convince Ethan to admit to him that he had done a Ouija but the younger man denied it completely. Beliath, unlike Vladimir, is not afraid that it's a demon, if it was, he would have tried to kill them long ago. He rather thinks it is a ghost. The problem with ghosts is that they feed on the energy of the living, and while he's not worried about him and Aaron, he's much more worried about the others. So, he'd like to make him go away, but he has no idea how to do that.

He doesn't really see the point of going out to scare humans. For him, Halloween is mostly a good opportunity to have fun. He'll make sure his party is horror-themed and the decorations are scary, but he's not actively trying to make jokes to scare people.

Ivan :

He really likes Halloween. It's not his favourite holiday, but he finds it quite fun. He remembers that as a child he often went out in his neighbourhood to get candy from his neighbours before going home to watch Coraline with his brothers and sisters. As a teenager, it was more like horror movies night before going out to play hide and seek in the forest in the middle of the night, they sometimes got really scared especially when they were playing near the cemetery and one member of the group thought they saw a "ghost".

At first, he was not very motivated by Beliath's party, especially when the incubus told him that he had to come in disguise, in fact, he was mostly afraid that Beliath would go and buy him a stupid disguise and then make fun of him. But in the end, it didn't happen like that. Beliath just goes and buys the disguise he chooses. Ivan dresses up every time, even if he doesn't always dare to go downstairs to enjoy the party with the others. Like Ethan, he usually prefers disguises inspired by horror films, or else he dresses up as a zombie (a disguise that Vladimir finds awful and in bad taste).

He does his best to pretend that he is not afraid of Aaron's stories, and he even manages to convince himself of this while he is in front of the fireplace with the others. Once he is alone in his room listening to the creaking stairs, the wind in the windows and the mice in the attic, he gives up rather quickly and goes to the wolf's room.

He is very busy decorating with Beliath. Although he wishes he didn't have to decorate pumpkins. He's cut himself more than once doing it and he never finds them as pretty and scary as other people's. Aaron told him that he would eventually get it right, but it's always the same, the eyes are not symmetrical, the mouth is missing teeth, the nose is either too small or too big. Usually, it's Aaron who repaired most of his mistakes, or Vladimir if the aristocrat has finally finished his first pumpkin.

He used to love sweets, unfortunately his tastes have changed a lot since his transformation and now he doesn't eat them. Gradually, however, he begins to be able to eat them again, but only those that sting. And there are two problems with that. The first is that they're Ethan's favourite and the second is that he doesn't really like them. In fact, the only reason he would ever take them is to make Ethan angry.

When Ethan offered to do Ouija boarding, he initially refused, Aaron did tell him that it was very dangerous and not to be taken lightly. But then the doctor laughed at him and his cowardice, so he changed his mind. They moved into the living room and turned off all the lights. If you ask him, he'll argue that Ethan panicked first, but the result is the same. They didn't think to close the communication and went to hide far from the living room (in their room). Since then, there is a strange reflection that can be seen in the windows near the piano, Ivan is always quick to close the curtains to avoid seeing it.

He would like to go out into town to scare the humans, but he is too afraid of doing something stupid to do so. So, he stays in the manor hoping to control himself enough next year to dare to go out.

Aaron :

Until he met Beliath, Aaron had never celebrated Halloween. He's watched this little party become more and more popular, but he felt a bit too old for this kind of thing. Although he thinks he would certainly have celebrated it without hesitation if it had existed when he was a child. It wouldn't have been for the candy though, but more for the opportunity to go out and play at night with his friends, which he wasn't really allowed to do as a child.

The first time he celebrated Halloween was at the manor, at that time it was just him, Vladimir and Beliath, the incubus didn't insist that he dress up and they told horror stories by the fire instead, Beliath wasn't having a party at the manor at that time. Now, he’s always a little suspicious when Beliath suggests a Halloween-themed party, and he doesn't really understand why Beliath is so keen for him to dress up. But then, it's only once a year and it makes the incubus happy, so he gives in. Since he never knows what to dress up as, it's usually the others who choose for him. The last time, he disguised himself as Thanos. It was Ivan's idea.

Aaron doesn't know exactly how it happened, but he's kind of become the official storyteller for Halloween nights. He doesn't make much of an effort though. He only tells about things he has experienced and yes, he has indeed faced many demons, ghosts and evil spirits. It's not for nothing that he has a whole collection of scars on his body. In the end, he has to admit that it doesn't really bother him, and he has even got into the habit of skipping the goriest parts to preserve the most sensitive ones.

He leaves much of the decorating to Beliath and Ivan unless his cadets come to him for help in hanging things. If he were alone, he clearly wouldn't decorate. Despite some criticisms he may have about the decorating, he must admit that he really likes decorating pumpkins, it's a fun activity to do in a group, especially since everyone participates. In fact, it's the thing he enjoys most about this activity. It's not every night that everyone gathers in the same place to do the same thing, and even if there is some bickering, the atmosphere is pretty good.

He doesn't really like sweet. Well, he eats them all the same. He prefers bergamot, eucalyptus, or pine sap candies. He usually makes it through several months with one package.

He doesn't believe that Ivan and Ethan were stupid enough to do Ouija in the house, so he defends them against Vladimir and Beliath. Of course, he did notice that the mood in the living room had changed, but a spirit could very well have latched onto someone outside the manor. In any case, it can't be one of the younger ones. They've already talked enough about the dangers of Ouija as it is, they wouldn't dare to do such a stupid thing.

He does not enjoy scaring humans and he is especially careful that Ethan's jokes do not hurt anyone. If he can tolerate that the doctor has fun scaring others, he will not tolerate any injury due to his nonsense, nor that his jokes consist in making fun of the phobia of someone in the manor, especially as it is never Ethan who manages the anxiety attacks that he can cause.

Raphaël :

Like Vladimir, he hates this party. It's scary, noisy and Ethan takes great pleasure in trying to scare him. Halloween didn't really exist in this form when he was a child, and he doesn't really know if he would have enjoyed it. On the one hand, he's never averse to sweets and getting them for free by just knocking on people's doors would probably have amused him a lot, but on the other hand, even if he wasn't particularly fearful as a child, he was rather superstitious and he's not sure he would have enjoyed it in the end.

He didn't really want to dress up at first. He didn't like the texture of most disguises and he didn't want to give up his usual clothes even for one night. But Beliath promised him sweets in return, so... Raphael can't really resist sweets. However, he only wanted Vladimir's opinion on his disguise, because he didn't trust other people's tastes enough. In the end, his disguise changes every year, sometimes he disguises himself as Hades, sometimes as the Phantom of the Opera and he even "disguised" himself as a vampire once, which Beliath found very amusing.

He hates Aaron's horror stories, and he doesn't even try to hide it. He sighs with disgust at the slightest story that is a little too bloody and spends a good part of the evening between Vladimir and Beliath because he is at least sure that neither of them will try to startle him for fun. Once it was time to go to his room to sleep alone, well... let's just say that he often joined Vladimir in his room to talk. Most of the time, they just talk about the stories Aaron told them to try to convince themselves that they are safe.

He's not the one who helps decorate the mansion the most. He doesn't like horrific atmospheres and he doesn't really like to spend his time getting his head stuck in the spider webs that Beliath puts everywhere, nor does he like to trip over yet another pumpkin in the middle of the passage. However, he also decorates pumpkins, the only problem is that his always look too cute. This makes Beliath a bit desperate, as he would only like scary pumpkins, but he doesn't have the courage to point this out to Raphael.

Okay, okay. It's the only time of year, along with Christmas and Easter, when he has a good excuse to binge on sweets. Clearly, he will not miss it under any circumstances. He's ready to get mad if there's no candy. That's the concept of this party, to eat candy until you're sick! He will agree to give sweets to Vladimir and maybe to Beliath. But the others! Were they at least nice enough? Clearly, Ethan wasn't, Ivan has no taste and Aaron just doesn't know what's good.

Of course, Vladimir told him about his suspicions of Ethan and Ivan and yes, it's true that it's a bit strange that the piano starts playing by itself at the same time at night, but they wouldn't dare to do that! a Ouija! In the living room! Raphael knows that the two youngest are irresponsible, but he doesn't think it's that bad.

He does not enjoy scaring others. Although he does enjoy silently entering rooms to startle his housemates.

Ethan :

He didn't celebrate Halloween as a child. Now that he thinks about it, he would probably have enjoyed it a lot, more for the opportunity to dress up and scare others than for the candy. He discovered this festival at the same time as his arrival at the manor, he had already heard about it of course, but he had not really been interested in it until he found Beliath. At that point, the incubus was preparing to host his first Halloween-themed party at the manor.

Ethan hadn't planned to participate, let alone dress up, but it's hard to say no to Beliath. Finally, he gave in and dressed up to please his friend. After all, it was cheap and Beliath just looks like a kid on Christmas Eve when everyone else is dressed up to celebrate Halloween. The vast majority of the time he dresses up as a character from a horror movie, once he considered dressing up as a clown to scare Vladimir but in the end the disguise made him far too uncomfortable to just stay in the same room as him, so he changed his mind.

What! No, he's not afraid of Aaron's horror stories! Frankly, only Raphael, Ivan and Vladimir worry about that. And it's clearly not why he sleeps with the lights on or feels like he's being watched all day. He's not afraid of a few ghosts! He is neither cowardly nor fearful! If he were to be frank, he would tell you that the scariest of horror films is worthless compared to the stories of the wolf, but he will certainly not be frank.

He wanted to put dolls in the mansion at first (mainly to scare Vladimir) but the other boys totally rejected his idea. He is the most difficult to convince about the pumpkin decorations. He hates it! It's a bore for him. In the end, the only reason he agreed is to please Beliath and to be able to make fun of Ivan's pumpkins which are always totally messed up, the only problem with the last point is that he always ends up being yelled at by Vladimir and Aaron for making fun of the youngest.

He likes sweets, not all of them, just the acid ones. He knows that Beliath will always bring him a packet of têtes brûlées when he comes back from shopping. They hide them so that Ivan doesn't take them, they are his sweets after all, and certainly not Ivan's.

It was one Halloween night that he decided to do Ouija with Ivan in the living room. At first, it was just supposed to be some nonsense to scare Ivan. They did it for an hour before things started to get really weird. In the panic, they forgot to make the spirit go away. Since then, the piano has been playing music by itself. Ethan is horrified whenever he hears it but stubbornly continues to deny any responsibility in the matter, He'd much rather have a ghost in the mansion than be yelled at by Aaron.

He makes a lot of jokes during the Halloween period. Less on humans than on other members of the manor. Sometimes they don't cause any negative consequences. Often they turn out badly. After all, he once made Raphael fall down the stairs while trying to scare him.

Neil :

Really, he never saw the point of this party. It never even occurred to him to celebrate it. He finds it quite boring. Of course, it's easier to find humans to bite, they're everywhere in the streets, but it's just too easy! He's spoilt for choice and people aren't even really afraid of him and dare to talk to him about disguises, does he look like someone who dresses up? Seriously a disguise! These people have no idea how much his costume costs and he dares to call his costume a disguise!

Neil doesn't really like fancy dress in general. At the very least, he could enjoy a fancy dress ball, but not just any kind of fancy dress ball. He would like something rich with a band, nice clothes, good food and the best of high society.

He doesn't listen to horror stories. It's not really something he's interested in, and he tends to get bored quickly with it, both because he's always looking for the flaw in the story and because he's often seen much worse. However, he almost never tells a horror story. Even though he knows a lot about boats, the sea, the ocean, the abyss and the flying Dutchman (although he never mentions the latter, it was just a bit too horrific for his taste).

He never decorated the places where he lived for Halloween. Neil thinks it's a waste of time.

He likes sweets a lot. Let's just say that if he passes by a sweet shop one evening, chances are he'll stop and buy some candy. He has a preference for the more classic ones like jelly beans, liquorice, and marshmallows. More rarely, he buys Car en sac or gummy bears (and he has a preference for yellow and orange ones).

He tends to avoid all places known to be haunted because at best it's just a ghost and it's still very difficult to get rid of and at worst it's a demon and he has no desire to confront a demon, it's far too difficult to defeat and far too dangerous. The one time he was forced to live with a ghost, he thought he was going to burn the house down. 🏡 - Coolsville or Crystal Cove? I am gonna have to go with Coolsville all the way! I MISS COOLSVILLE! But I do like that Crystal Cove exists as a kind of alternative canon if you know what I mean? it's kind of like a scooby canon but from a different dimension. But yeah I miss coolsville i miss fred shaggy and scooby living in their weird little house from wnsd, I miss daphne and velma and their little pink science crib.

🎃 - favorite holiday special/episode/movie? I really like A Scooby Doo Valentine since it kind of shows the gang off the road. We finally kind of get to see how they live when they're not van people. I also like scooby doo and the spooky scarecrow. It just has an amazing atmosphere and is definitely one of my favorites from the DTV series. And idk if birthdays count? But I LOVE Happy Birthday Scooby Doo! Everything about it. How the gang gets together again. Daphne, Shaggy and Scrappy planning Scooby's birthday. Velma and Fred finally getting back with the gang. And Scooby is soooo happy to see them like he is literally doing zooomies and I find that so adorable. peak dog behavior i love him.

🎶 - favorite song? Ok so from the chase scenes in the original SDWAY my favorite is daydreamin'. The snack track had no reason to be that damn good. I tell you hwat.

From the hex girls It's a mystery. I'ts kind of different and more slow than i'm a hex girl and earth,wind, fire and air. And I guess this would be my ultimate favorite song from Scooby Doo? ngl scooby snacks is a banger too. we got packs n packs we got packs n packs

💀 - scariest villain? Ummmm ok so I've prob said this before but when I was a kid I used to have very vivid nightmares about the green ghosts from A night of fright is no delight. In my dream I'm running away from the ghost and the safe space is the living room but right before I'm about to enter the living room I lose all my strength and can't even move. And then the ghost sucks a strawberry out of my ear?! very weird end and it's not even that scary BUT I WAS A KID AND I WAS TERRIFIED. and i didnt even find them that scary irl 🤨 like i would watch the episode just fine

Scooby doesn't really have villains who are that scary. And in the older shows I think it was the backgrounds and atmosphere that would give that creepy and eerie feeling more so than the villains themselves. And it makes sense it's supposed to be goofy.

I would also nominate the banshee from Camp Scare (i guess its the effect of the jumpscare more than her design) and the Phantom from gourmet ghost. I think they did a really good job at making them look scary. Probably one of the scariest villains imo. Also Aphrodite from SDMI.

They always beg Kisa to make them a really cool costume so usually he picks for them. But as time goes by they force Decord into couple costumes. Their favourite tends to be extravagant masquerade esque outfits though lol

YES YES YES YES!! Decord's ghostly ass is so boring in these places. So they usually bring Khris or Kisa. They love going to haunted locations.. and scary locations like mazes or houses too!

sleep: VERYYY cuddly in bed + not a morning person

what she fears: man i could say so much abt her (canon) insecurities, that even her best efforts arent good enough, that unfortunately shes ended up being the unstoppable force to an immovable object, the way shanoa unintentionally resurfaces those insecurities while also being the one that helps laura overcome them. man theres just So Much. but for something smaller: i also think she gets nervous around great heights. i dont think she would enjoy escalators (they are scary) but there arent any escalators in the 1800s so shes probably fine.

favorite thing about her in canon: shes sooo sweet for real shes just such a kind and generous person and expects very little in return. ive always found that interesting bc its also one of albus's main traits as well enough that id consider it one of ooe's motifs tbh. something something the two people who care about shanoa most wanting nothing more than a smile idk theres parallels. its selflessness. laura is selfless. on some level she knows getting shanoa to smile is an impossible task but she still tries anyway because she cares that much. shes tenacious. she keeps making art shes been taught to believe is inferior work, and she keeps going because she wants to make someone happy. it makes me insane.

least favorite thing in canon: the tarot fortune telling stuff, its just a line in some flavor text and not a huge deal but it does strike me as stereotypical

I like spoiling people I care for so when I read your Halloween fic for the bunnies I thought of feeding Xiao and Dainsleif all the candy they want, relaxing with them on my lap as we watch scary movies, them being so relaxed they get scared and jump into my arms, only to be calmed down as I hug them and feed them more of the sugar that they crave.

I just love th e thought of spoiling those two to the point they actually relax.

Crying and throwing up ;-; I love them so much

Setting the scene: After their shift at the cafe, they come back to your apartment. They strip out of their sweaty costumes, take a shower and put on some comfy clothes before flopping down onto the couch with you…

🎃Dain:

The Halloween party at the cafe had been so hectic that Dain didn’t get to sit down at all. Not to mention, his little costume didn’t provide much coverage (not that his usual uniform covers more anyways) so he was freezing on his drive home. He felt the tension in his body release the second he stepped into your apartment, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath of the comforting smell of your home.

After a hot shower, he changes into his favorite grey sweatpants and crawls into bed with you, wrapping his strong arms around you, his body sagging against yours. He’s just so happy to be home

He rests his head on your chest, eating whatever cookies or candy you hold up for him. You had put a movie on but he couldn’t focus on it. Between how tired he was and how you ran your hand up and down his back, he was just on the verge of falling asleep. That was, until the movie went silent

Dain thought you’d paused it, that you’d ask him to move so you could get up to get something. He cracked an eye open to look at the screen, hoping to see what time it was- maybe you two should go to sleep- but no. Instead, the killer jumped up, screaming as he swung his knife around! Dain startled and tightened his hold on you, just for a brief second but it was enough to earn a chuckle from you

“Aww~ did they scare you, sweetheart?” You ask, pulling your blankets up to cover him “It’s alright, I’ll protect you~”

Dain doesn’t even have the energy to insist that he wasn’t scared, instead he lets you coddle him :) he loves it. And he loves your baking too, give him another cookie

🎃Xiao:

Xiao’s laying with his head in your lap, his legs hanging off the arm of the sofa. He’s got a content smile on his face as you play with his hair and share mystery flavored candies with him

“Here, try this one. This has gotta be cherry and strawberry, right?” He opens his mouth and lets you drop the chewy candy in “Hm…Yeah, I think you’re right” you go back and forth, taking a bite of one and giving him the other half to see if you guys can decipher what flavor these ‘mystery’ candies are

You’ve seen this movie before but not Xiao, he isn’t the type to watch horror movies. For you, he didn’t put up a fight. This movie was kinda freaky though… Xiao’s a bit tired and every suspenseful scene’s getting his heart rate up 0-0 he’s just waiting for a jump scare

When it finally happens, there’s no warning or change in the music, just a freakish zombie lurching out of a dark hole towards the screen! Xiao startles, grabbing your wrist and leaning away from the screen. You laugh and cover his eyes, pulling him close “Aw! Hey now, don’t worry! I’ve got you~”

Xiao flushes bright red and peels your hand off of his face, glaring up at you. You cup his cheeks, grinning as you kiss all over your scaredy cat’s face. He’ll insist that he wasn’t scared, that zombie looked totally fake!! He’s just tired, that’s why it startled him!! And you just nod your head, continuing to baby him cause to be honest, he isn’t exactly stopping you from cuddling and kissing him…

Eventually he’ll crash from all the sugar he’s eaten, laying his head on your stomach and drooling on your favorite hoodie. He looks so cute like this, all curled up against you, the corners of his mouth green from the candy he ate, his hair sticking up all over the place. You already know he’s gonna sleep so good tonight lmao

Candy Wrappers

“Oh Lucifer! He is right behind her isn’t he? I can’t watch.” Cumulus cried, pulling the throw blanket up over her eyes, almost knocking the bowl of candy from Copia’s lap. The thunder roared outside, the lights flickering a bit as the storm rolled on past the Abbey. It was Halloween night and they wouldn’t have many trick or treaters this year it seemed. Copia was determined that they could still have fun. He had put in an old VHS tape of HALLOWEEN from his collection and managed to convince Sister Ren and Cumulus to watch with him.

“God that mask is so unnerving.” Sister Ren said, grabbing another snickers from the bowl. Copia, nodding his head in agreement as he licked some residual chocolate from his fingertips. If it were up to him they would stay up all night and watch the classics. Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Omen, so many horror gems he could muster from his collection.

“I don't see why we couldn’t have just watched Ghostbusters or Beetlejuice.” Cumulus griped. Copia was starting to regret turning it on. It was a well known fact that Cumulus did not handle scary well, being the Abbey’s resident scaredy cat. Despite her Hellish lineage, she would prefer to see people happy and smiling, not so much cut up into little pieces–even if it was all just pretend.

“Ghuleh, I did ask you if you wanted to watch…” Copia reminded her, she had gotten to this point of her own accord, “...you did say yes.” he said as Sister Ren passed him back the bowl of candy and rolled her eyes.

“I know it just…It scares me.” Cumulus admitted, a soft smile appearing over Copia’s face. He took her hand in his, her face still barely visible above the line of the blanket. The lights flickered again–the flash of lightning filling the sky outside and the inevitable crash of thunder rumbling the old bones of the Abbey. Cumulus’s heart pounded as she gripped the blanket tighter, storms also not her friend.

“Then we don't have to watch—” Copia began, pausing the movie. Sister Ren, was becoming aggravated with Cumulus’s whining and the continued stopping and starting of the film.

“Papa! I wanted to watch it though.” she pouted. Copia felt flustered, he didn’t want to upset either of them. All he wanted was to enjoy some relaxation after coming back from the tour and not deal with any more drama. This was proving to be quite the task indeed.

“It’s ok, I’ll watch.” Cumulus yielded, nestling herself deep into the sofa between the two of them. Before Copia could press play the storms flickered, the lights off and on once more, the movie restarting with the surge. Copia picked out a piece of candy, after rummaging through the half spent bowl as Cumulus curled next to him, her tail stiffened and tense. The movie continued and Sister Ren felt a sense of guilt pour over her.

It really isn’t that big of a deal if we can’t watch this particular movie, she thought to herself and then she remember something—a peace offering

Hey… Cumulus…” Ren began, tapping the ghoul lightly on the shoulder to gain her attention, Cumulus turning to face her. “I’m sorry—Truly. We can watch Beetlejuice if you really want to and I almost forgot. I got you something.” Ren apologized, pulling a bag of strawberries and cream lollie drops out from behind her and passing them to the ghoulette–Cumulus’s favorite.

“Oh Ren, thank you.” the ghoulette beamed, throwing her arms around the sister, tail wagging behind her–tickling Copia’s nose.

“Geez Cumulus don’t get too crazy over it, it’s just some candy.” Sister Ren said, Cumulus hugging her a bit too tightly.

“Oh sorry.” Cumulus said letting her go and realizing that Ren did care after all. The lights flickered off again.

“It may not matter anyways if this storm keeps messing with the power, maybe I should send the boys out to help with the generator.” Copia began, when suddenly the power came back on and the screen lit up with Michael Myers weidling his knife, front and center!

“Ah!” Cumulus screamed, quickly burying her face in Copia’s shoulder, sending the bowl of what were now wrappers flying into the air like confetti. The 3 of them were in for quite an interesting night indeed.

Staying in bed late (my bedroom in my parents former house was so cool for that. My bed was just below the velux, I could open the store and stay there for hours), listening to the rain, cooking, going out for a walk or even a jogging - I don’t know why I love running in the rain !

💒- which show would you want to live in?

Hannibal for the perfect aesthetic and outstanding photography and colorimetry. I’d say The Haunting of Hill House or Peaky Blinders for the equally stunning aesthtics but it sounds a little bit dangerous. So I’d stick to running away with my murderous cannibal boyfriend.

Food Wars also sounds like a good plan. Delicious food. Boobs. Whats not to like ?

I love Toussaint holidays, also Christmas and all the winter holiday period !

I had a candle that had a smell of candied apple. It became my new favorite as soon as I lit it !

Winter and autumn equally ! When I lived in Guiana it was rain season.

I hesitated between one with me being a drama queen in the garden, dressed in a long velvet dress and this one… But I love this one, taken during a festival some times ago while I was chatting with a friend and resting between two gigs. Other friends of us found it uploaded on a gallery on Facebook (Brannwenn photography if I am not mistaken) and tagged me in it. I was like “hey, I look cool on here ! But of course, the only element of my battle jacket visible is my swearword pins. Of course”. Swearwords, messy braids, dramatic hat, the whole Sissi experience in one picture XD.

I am not going to tell blatant lies here, yes I like that, once in a while XD. But I tend to love “smaller” more meaningful things.

- Taking a 4 hour o’clock snack everyday (if I can’t do it, I am grumpy. Wow. Very adult, such maturity. And my stomach doesn’t give a fuck about jetlag. I could be at the other end of the world if it’s 4 o’clock I’ll be like : “I need to eat something.”)

- Reaching for my glasses as soon as I get out of my bed in the morning.

- Listening to music, always. Even in the shower or while eating if I am alone.

First of all, usually, I panic but I became calmer about it over the last few years. And then, I act like myself but sillier and cheesier.

Two days ago I think. Also, earlier when I read the last question and you asked me to read your first novel. Yes, I am a liiiittle bit emotional.

🔪- scariest/creepiest experience?

A fun one would be when there was an earthquake in Guiana. It never happens, or so we thought. I just duck and cover under my desk, shut my computer inverter off, asking myself if something had blown up in the harbour, or worse, at the CSG. Turns out it was an earthquake !

I mostly dated people older than me. Same age, yes. If older or younger, it depends on the age gap.
