Smosh cast folks are also very funny- a good #proportion of them at this point are also prifessional comedians. There are other Try Not To Laugh videos. a LOT of them. they can be #hit or miss but a lot of them are quite good (blind pairs or the musical episodes are all pretty good)#Smosh has multiple channels- this one is called Smosh Pit ajd also has other stuff they do. Challenge Pit is also quite funny. there is also #smosh games channel. smosh cast channel. and the main smosh channel #tbh i recommend looking up compilations of cast members to figure out what content you might find compelling but they make a pretty broad #spread of stuff at this point so odds are decent youll find something funny. esp if you already watch dropout :)#ok infodump over. glad ppl are having fun with this lol

hey did you know??? that if you stop stretching and maintaining mobility in your body then it goes away?? things get tight and you can't move the way that you used to??? and when you decide to try getting a stretch routine going that the first week fucking sucks because you keep going 'damn i used to be able to do this no problem' and then you have to switch gears and be kind to yourself and just focus on getting better from here instead of berating yourself for dropping the good habits in the first place??? and your body never stops aging so you gotta keep taking care of it and sometimes you gotta take care of it extra in certain areas because of things that happened when you were younger and it's boring and sometimes hurts but it's so necessary???

i am yelling this at myself right now i am going through An Experience (trying to get into a routine of body maintenance again for my physical and mental health)

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity

There was always a certain shift that happened in Batman whenever he talked to kids that were hurt or scared. He would speak more softly, maybe even kneel down in front of them to personally assure them that they were safe now.

if you ever go to an art gallery and you see a painting and you think "that sucks. I could do that." maybe you can! I think a lot of people could do like. Matisse. Mondrian. Rothko. From a technical standpoint at least. Not everyone but a good number of people. But please consider: Artists™ aren't special people. They're just people. Just regular folks with something to say and a trained skill who showed that skill to the right people.

So instead of being like "that sucks! that's dumb! I could do that. It shouldn't be in a gallery." instead try, "I could do that. I should be in a gallery." and then do it and go and show your art to people.

it turns out it only takes 4 weeks of sending someone a pun every single night before they inquire about your mental health

#melon rambles #an irl friend of mine is having a rough time especially at work so I (not knowing how to comfort people) was like 'would a daily pun help?'#and he was like '...if you have them sure?'#so I've been sending him a pun almost every night (missed a few nights but shhh) and he loves them or at least says he does #but tonight I hit him with a double whammy (he replied to my pun and I replied to his reply with another pun) and then he was like #'are you doing okay?'#and then I was like oh crap he's onto me #he's incredibly observant whenever we talked face to face I don't know why I thought that didn't apply to text #maybe he just sensed that it had been too long since I'd panic texted him at midnight about my life falling apart and that I was trying to #deal with things on my own rather than ask for help #which would have been a fair assumption seeing as that's more or less what I did #anyways I feel like I need some kind of emotional vulnerability badge or gold star or something for like fully explaining what's been #bothering me #Fifteen year old me could never. I'm doing so good. My therapist is going to be proud.
