Does anyone know where I can find the full version of the tv documentary “The Movie The Life of George” (1989), which is about the story of George Harrison and the founding of Handmade Films (aka the film production company that he founded which helped produced “Life of Brian” (1979))?

It featured most of the Monty Python members (or, at least 5/6 of them, excluding Terry Jones cuz he wasn’t featured in the doc), including; Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam,(and very much significantly, it featured Graham when he had cancer around this time), as well as some other people too, talking about their experiences with George and stuff.
Unfortunately, I can’t find the full full version of the documentary anywhere else online, except for this clip of George and Michael talking to each other from the documentary, which is this clip :
youtube
If anyone can help me out in finding the rest of the documentary, that’d be soso helpful frfr!
Thank you ❤️❤️!!

I see tim drake potential everywhere… most recently, I have noticed that potential in the manager of the Nekoma volleyball team in Haikyuu!! (He wears a red jacket and has slightly floppy black hair and idk, it just made me think of him) and in Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (because his name is Tim and because the character has that penchant for fire and explosions and making random trivia into something life saving) (not the bridge keeper, but the connection is there as well)
#batman#dc comics#dc#tim drake#tim the enchanter#haikyuu#nekoma#karasuno#Red Robin#chaotic tim drake#monty python#Monty python and the quest for the holy grail#happy new year#dc robin#also#dr Damian Wayne is honestly a nice way to come full circle kinda#why not a vet though#just saying#idk

i was rewatching the available episodes of dungeon meshi earlier when i came across this scene, and was wondering if it was an intentional reference to "jason and the argonauts", because the way this specific skeleton looked and moved reminded me a lot of the skeletons from harryhausen's iconic "children of the hydra's teeth" fight.............

and yup, it sure is a direct reference. same shield design and everything :D
#dungeon meshi#jason and the argonauts#i was obsessed with jason and the argonauts as a kid ESPECIALLY the skeletons so seeing this made me very happy#dunmeshi continues to win favours with me lol#im pretty sure the dungeon rabbits may be a monty python reference too. although my feelings abt monty python are kinda mixed now but still

If you ever feel like whatever you’re going through is not bad enough to warrant therapy or it’s not serious enough compared to whatever people are going through, I’m here to inform you that your brain is lying and has probably tried to normalize a crazy situation as a coping mechanism. If you feel like you might need it, go get the therapy, fam.
I worked the entire pandemic from start to finish and around October 2020, I started to suspect I had PTSD. But also doubted myself. I was like ‘well it’s not bad! Especially compared to what other colleagues have been through. What if I’m faking it or just being dramatic?’
Then when I met the therapist she literally said “It amazes me that you are still functioning at this level. Most people would have had a breakdown by now.”
Anyway…recently my boss was reviewing numbers for a report and she said to me, “Did you know that in the single month of December 2020, you worked on over 300 COVID deaths?”
And I was like, well JFC no wonder I had PTSD…

oooo, movie ask, 1975!
Well shit, there's a number of movies from that year that I love and it's very hard to choose. I will give you Top 3:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Tommy
Rocky Horror Picture Show
#ask#boxingcleverrr#the fact that Monty Python and the Holy Grail came out the same year as Tommy is kinda funny to me#cause these were foundational films of my life that I first saw when I was waaaay too young like fucking 3 years old#like straight up the first films I remember seeing in my life#says a lot about my parents lol#didn't see or even know about Rocky Horror until I was 13 though#which also says a lot about my parents

There’s something g so funny to me about consuming older comedy for the first time and discovering how long we’ve been making jokes about things. Like when I was 15 my social studies teacher put on Monty Python and The Holy Grail as the “end of year, exam review is over, I don’t wanna teach anymore” movie and I remember hearing some of the jokes and being mad surprised about them. I just remember going to myself “this is from the sixties? I didn’t think you were allowed to talk about eating pussy in movies back then?” Same goes for most Monty Python stuff tbh. I always knew it was rather lewd stuff, and I had always associated it with the 80s, since I was used to that being raunchy comedy times. But I got hit with that 1975 release date and went “okay I was a little off on the time there but STILL!”
And I still get times like that. Like I know dick jokes are timeless, but I recall seeing Pompeii graffiti and finding other non penis jokes surprisingly modern seeming. Finding 69 jokes in a Navy ID for a ship cat from the 40s. I dunno, something about the way we’ve always been making dirty jokes but also the way we seem to still treat dirty jokes like they’re a new thing pushing the envelope.
#scream rambles#comedy#history#dirty jokes#monty python#also yeah I know my history teacher made a wildly questionable choice in movies to show#the man’s life was in shambles and he had tenure at the school#guy kinda just did what he wanted and barely constituted as a functioning adult human let alone a teacher

Rank the Pythons out of 10 based on which Python you personally think has the best singing voice and give reasons why please? Uhh thanks!!
Hi sorry it’s taken me so long to answer this I had to do some research and watch some videos on YouTube of all of them singing. I just wanted to say that I literally know nothing about singing (I can’t sing myself) so this is all my opinion
Eric - obviously Eric is the musician guy and sings quite a lot. I like his voice when singing but he’s more talking rather than singing. 9/10
John - I wasn’t sure whether I would find anything but I found a version of John singing ‘I like traffic lights’ song (it was kinda a vibe low-key). He was mainly talking rather than singing but it was more out of tune and the music in the background kind of overshadowed his singing. 4/10
Graham - the only clip that I could find of Graham singing was of him singing Christmas in Heaven on the Meaning of Life. But I’m not sure if it actually his voice or if he’s miming and what his actual voice would sound like (because he’s playing a character). Could someone tell me whether it is actually his voice? Cause if it is it’s quite nice actually. Like the others it’s more talking than singing and it’s a bit out of tune. 6/10
Terry J - I love how Terry J just goes full out when he sings. Just belts out all the words. He has quite a nice voice actually. If maybe a little out of tune. 8/10
Michael - Like with Terry J, he goes full out for his singing performance and I like that. I think he is a better singer than Terry J. 9/10
Terry G - the only clip I could find of Terry G singing is from live shows when he sings ‘I’ve got 2 legs’. It’s okay. It’s very short bit and he’s more talking than singing. 6/10

For MP & the Holy Grail 50th Anniversary Day, I made my cosplay (kinda? More like themed clothes rather than a full on cosplay lol but ya’know what I mean) get up theme to be specifically a 1970s inspired King Arthur-core outfit, with the colour theme/scheme being yellow, a bit of white, and beige grey-ish green and stuff!!
Here’s me (with my face blurred ofc) plus some Arthur pics as my reference for my cosplay (kinda?) get up!

❛ it’s just a scratch, don’t worry. ❜ [ with these two, one of them saying this feels like that monty python skit. ...well, i guess ravus IS missing an arm, so that checks out. ]
Short Angst Starters | accepting but slow forever
"'Just a scratch' is precisely when worry begins." Safay mostly muttered to himself, though it was stage whisper level at best. He didn't rush to Ravus' side, merely--
The strides were long and purposeful. That was all. Blood was impossible to miss for a wide variety of reasons, but so too was the fact that it barely pooled and didn't drip. There was an instinct for these things that went along with the simple visual confirmation, tightness in Safay's chest unwinding without him really knowing it had gathered there to begin with.
"Let me guess: gardening accident? A plant bit you?" It was good to joke, to tease. Carefully, still. Not to mention, he was no stranger to gardening accidents himself, given that the learning curve felt entirely too steep to him. "If anything else bit you, I might be tempted to hunt it down for a scolding."
#IC#infideliis#FFXVverse!SafayRoth#blood cw#((they are a Monty Python skit in many ways... but a little more tragic sometimes fghfdj))#((...this one turned out kinda sweet and vague so clearly the angst must go elsewhere))#lookitmequeue

Legend was given a Quest by some "King Arthur of England" to go and kill the Terrifying Monster guarding a location called the Cave of Caerbannog. Legend couldn't find the monster, but he did find a cuddly white rabbit. He's not quite sure why it's bloody, but it doesn't seem injured so it's fine. (I just like to headcanon that Legend would get along with practically any bunny, including the killer rabbit from Monty Python. Uncoloured version under the cut)

I’ve noticed a lot of anonymous comments being kinda mean, so I wanted to send an anonymous comment saying thanks for making an amazing comic/show with such interesting characters with cool dynamics! Prohibition but cats is such a fun idea and I love it! Hope you and your team are taking good care of yourselves!
I am fortunate, for most of the things in my inbox are good natured - honest inquiries, fair criticisms, or supportive comments. There's the occasional angry demand, drama bait, or incomprehensible rant aimed this direction, but I don't really take it to heart. (If you see me resort to Monty Python gifs, I'm just having fun with it.) In any case, thank you for the very kind message. I'll pass this along to the crew!
