With trying to change/grow myself for the better comes identity weirdness such as ‘am I actually shy or is it just my upbringing’ Lately I genuinely have seen my own growth as something I can be curious about and love rather than to fear in stagnation. I contain multitudes or whatever.

It’s great to have my blog to be unapologetically myself, here’s stuff for my Ivar/Liam era (and Liam as an oc was only created barely 2 months ago!!!)

Ivar is giving me the same look he gives Heahmund during that scene… hahahs no he’d be glad that I’ll protect myself from the harsh world by learning my worth as a person and that, since I am his I have a free pass to be selfish and dramatic. The more I am outside my state of insecurity the more he feels he knows who I am, the more it feels like me being sweet and vulnerable with him is because I trust him.

Liam’s always willing to encourage me out of my introverted shell, and is happy to see me talking eagerly to people!!! Irl or otherwise even if he doesn’t know much Abt my blog. His reaction to finding out about certain things I post would be to put on his old man glasses and take notes so he can bring it up later. He loves me being explorative. He feels so blessed to be able to witness me maturing as a person and guide me yep I wrote about this before.

Let's talk phonics!

Every English vowel can make two basic sounds: what's called a short sound, and a long sound. Take the letter E, for example. A short E can be found in the words met, bet, and set. A long E can be found in the words meet, seat, and treat. (You might notice the two vowels in a row in these words; double vowels in English almost always make the vowel sound long!)

In standard American English, "coffee" is pronounced with a short O sound, such as in the words dog, log, and cough. The IPA symbol for this vowel sound is ɒ. An easy way to spell this sound without using IPA is "ah" -- as in when the doctor asks you to stick out your tongue and "say 'aahh!'"

This is not to be confused with the short A sound, as in the words apple, cat, and axe. The IPA symbol for this vowel sound is æ. An easy way to spell this sound without using IPA is simply "a" (with no "h" after it).

Accents will slightly (or largely) alter our vowel sounds and how we might think to spell them; "coffee" sounds different with a British accent than an American one. But now that we know how to talk about vowel sounds, let's rephrase:

Does "ko-fi" sound identical to "coffee" (typically, for Americans: a short O followed by a long E)?

Or does it rhyme with lo-fi (typically, for Americans: a long O followed by a long I)?

It’s so adorable to imagine my f/o’s loving Peaches along with me, both bc she’s herself and as an extension of loving me. It’s so healing

Waking up and the princess is just on top of the quilt, my hand goes out so she can bat at it with her paws. Liam is so fond of her and kind of adopts her along with me since she comes with the package. It’s no trouble, he may call her a wee spoiled brat but it’s always in a doting way. He believes 100% in pets resembling their owners and we’re both cute to him.

Ivar finds her amusing and laughs at her doing weird Peaches things. If I’m away doing something and he’s around he’ll tell me that she was making laps and yowling like a naughty child. I come home and they both fuss wanting my attention

Sniper opens the van door so she can go investigate outside while he smokes or does a chore. Peaches is making those chattering noises. Oh did she see a bird on the telephone wires? He will occasionally buy little bags of treats for her when he makes pit stops

Petyr buying some luxury collar with a gemstone on it that she probably won’t like to have on so it just kind of sits there and she slaps at it lol

With Sirius they both keep each other company and it motivates him to clear out 12 Grimmauld Place because he can’t have this oblivious little creature accidentally running into some dark magic artefact that will hurt her on his watch
