Here's the thing - I like Ahsoka as a character. She's Filoni's baby clearly.

But they've been jumping all over the place with her - Clone Wars ended, then got another series with an undefined fast-forward epilogue. So then she appeared in Mando, then they rewound to Tales of the Jedi. Now they've jumped forward again to post Mando, with flashbacks to Clone Wars!

It's like he didn't know what to do with the Vader stuff so he's just been dancing around it for ages - understandable, sure, but here he's FINALLY, actually pulled the trigger - and it's about nothing!

'Complete her training'? What training does she need? When did we see that?

She's got to be the one survivor with the most experience still living. She's a great fighter, she's a pragmatic, helpful person despite everything (Mandalorian). Her decision to walk away from the Jedi was supposed to indicate she's a True Jedi and she's got the favour of the Sister force-god on Mortis. (Clone Wars) And as I said before, she's still Fulcrum, still in touch with the New Republic, gave training Sabine a shot with her Progressive Jedi Attitude. (Ahsoka)

So what flaws/struggles that are actually affecting her is she supposed to be overcoming? How did being a child-soldier affect her?? What was showing her the Clone Wars supposed to be saying? Why did they frame it with "Complete your training/I will not fight you" call backs?? aaaaaaa

Is it just that he doesn't want to give her flaws or make her unlikable for a period of time? Have Anakin actually affect her?

Bisan is calling for another global strike!

I saw some posts just outlining Jan 21st, and wanted to clarify that Bisan has called for a full seven days of action.

What a global strike would look like is:

calling in sick to work

purchasing bare essentials ahead of the week so you can observe the general boycott of goods / buying as little as you genuinely can

putting in a concerted effort to elevate Palestinian voices and make it clear that this strike is in support of a permanent ceasefire!

For those who will have to purchase necessary goods during this time, please observe the brands that the BDS movement is asking us to boycott!

again, Batlantern isn’t my wheelhouse to write (god sometimes I wish it was) but I feel like the more explicit fics have kind of ignored the massive smut potential of Bruce canonically knowing how to break a Lantern’s concentration and using that in bed while Hal tries to hold out. here you’ve got Earth’s most powerful Lantern desperately trying to keep a construct up just to prove he can while one (1) human man more stubborn than the gods themselves is trying to break that concentration.
