Amount of sleep: I always manage to get more or less 8 hours because although I was up very early I also go to bed quite early

Dream job: I don't really have a specific dream job, never have, there's things I'd like to try like working in museums (especially in the more organization/ archival part) but since I know so little about how it actually works it's just an idea. I'd like to write a book some day, but again that's just one of the million ideas I have while I have no plan

Wearing: comfy clothes to chill at home: a pair of black leggings cause my usual sweatpants are being washed, and a dark red sweater

Movies/books that summerize you: Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, The Hobbit by Tolkien, tbh anything by Neil Gaiman, and I'll stop here with books cause I could go on for day. As for movies The Emperor's New Groove, The Road To El Dorado, lotr, Pirates Of The Caribbean, and I'll stop again cause there's too many movies that mean a lot to me.

Favourite song: all time favourites are Fear Of The Dark by Iron Maiden and The Greatest Show On Earth by Nightwish. At the moment I have been listening non stop to PVRIS, because after the new singels came out I have just gone down the rabbit hole again

Aesthetic: jars of dried herbs to make tea with, lots of blankets and pillows, ink-stained hands with too many rings on, home made baked goods and tea mugs that are constantly filled in, overfilled book shelves that are very specifically organized, blooming garden filled with aromatic herbs and vegetables, bees flying around, those moments when you stop and try to breathe as quietly as possible because you are looking at a wild animal that is starring at you, constant music playing in the background, marker drawings on the skin to check your tattoos plan for the future, too many books on the currently reading pile on the nightstand, pens and pencils everywhere, doodles in the margins of notes that have been copied over and over.

Favourite animal noise: my brother's girlfriend has a malamute that howls at people as if to talk with them, it's adorable and hilarious.

Random: I might legally be an adult, but few things make me as happy as stuffed animals. And ever since I was a little kid I never liked the ones that have bright unrealistic colours for some reason. I have a particularly soft spot for sloths cause growing up I had a sloth instead of a teddy bear, and it's still my most beloved object. I also have a pretty big collection of winnie the pooh's piglet plushes, but I don't have them on display anymore.

Aesthetic: As cliche as it sounds, I do love the whole (fake) farmhouse aesthetic. I also love the cozy maximist aesthetic and just general lived in traditional vibes, if that makes sense.

Favorite author: Ally Carter. I don't care how old I am, I will always adore the Gallagher Girls series, the Heist Society series, and the Embassy Row series. And her stand alone Not If I Save You First is also amazing.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I absolutely love the recs you've given (you've introduced me to tomione, and I love it!) and I was wondering if it's possible to give you some recs in return? There are some books and fics that definitely have dramione / got vibes, and I was wondering if I could share them with you!

So glad you've enjoyed them! Feel free to rec me anything you want. I've read most of the classic recs in terms of fic and adjacent content (Cruel Prince et al), but I'll try anything that's well-written. My tastes run towards weird and/or audaciously creative stuff, and I can forgive a lot of weaknesses in plot on the grounds of (1) ambition or (2) character work. My turnoffs are instalove, protagonists who can't fail, and most Y/A (I'm not a hater, I swear, I just need characters who can say "fuck" when their leg gets chopped off.)

I'm also a fan of weird and fucked-up dynamics.(Wuthering Heights was my favorite book for a while, and as a teenager I wrote an AU in which the book ends on a long sex scene where Heathcliff fucks Cathy's ghost and then immediately gets murdered by Catherine 2.) Obviously, I am very normal.

i just listened to 'solo work' today and regarding the post-mortem statements (cause that's what's happening, isn't it?) i'm torn between the idea that there's some avatar doing this (violet does suggest she met someone asking questions in an alley),

and the idea that the fears that came here are the ones who got filtered through the eye, and specifically through the 'magnus archives' ritual and the tapes, and now they're so intrinsically tied to being observed and recorded that, if there is no other way for a statement to be made, the corpses themselves are compelled to give it.

haha guys it’s not that im pushing for heteronormativity i swear i just think it’s problematic to have more characters come out late in the game other than the designated gay side characters haha not because i think main characters shouldn't be gay or because it makes me uncomfortable when gay characters don’t come with a designated partner and instead of staying confined to their part of the story experience desire in many directions it’s just because it is queerbaiting! to make new characters gay! somehow! or fetishistic! or something! but it is not okay! but i swear im not pushing for a heteronormative story i swear it’s just that i think it’s cowardly to not make the characters end up all in their respective monogamous relationships and instead portray a more realistic idea where they can be with more than one person and their relationships can change during their lifetimes and they still hold love for each other in a way that is not limited to traditional romantic models haha. because you know you can’t end the story without telling me how your characters straight marry each other and have kids haha that’s just a cop out to avoid a real ending even if you tell me your characters’ lives to the day they died. yeah no it’s not heteronormative to consider classic endgames the only form of closed ending because i would support the designated lesbian and gay ship also getting married and having kids haha. what do you mean your story has been poking fun at the concept of endgame the entire time dont be silly haha

a week ago or so i was at work and my coworker told me that an actor from a tv show we mentioned dated her friend's sister when he was 22 and the sister was 17 and she tried to cancel him on tiktok, and at this point she started laughing, and i was like "no you totally did the right thing by saying something though," and she was like no you don't get it it was when tiktok was still called musically and you couldn't talk or put text on the screen so you had to hold up a piece of paper but it was mirrored so i had to try and write "YOU'RE DATING A 17 YEAR OLD" backwards and it didn't work

(ok so this is probably a spoiler but) for martini, mercy, and freerun, is this a game? like,,, is martini just in vr, or is freerun trying to set a record? also related: do any of them have any game mechanic stuff? like reloading/respawn (probably not), grenade jumping, noclipping?

For Martini and Mercy: Nope! While I do love my HLVRAI's that are canonically accurate, I adore Not A Game AUs all the more. As for Mercy, I just think his character hits harder if he's just... some guy. Just built like that. (This would only really be a spoiler if it were true, but it's not so you do not have to worry!!) For Freerun: Yes and No. Not in like a maybe sort of way, but more like Schrodinger's Cat. He both is and isn't. partly because I can't decide and partly because I don't want to. I think either concept is incredibly interesting, so I'm trying to leave it vague so that you as an audience can decide for yourself. Game Mechanics: Depends on the mechanic, but a lot of them actually WILL be implemented. When I find the right moments anyways. Mercy will be using grenade jumping (and explosives in general) religiously, Freerun might get some noclipping moments (though I also might just leave that to our noclipping king), and fun fact about the respawn/reloading stuff! I sort of did have a plan to use that (not sure if I will but it was in the notes originally), but not for any of the characters you have listed :) ((Also one final side note: Thank you for the fun ask!! I don't mind the ones that ask for clarification or anything, but ones that get me talking about the story are very fun!! Also don't be afraid to ask things you think are spoilery, I will simply work around that!)

I'm not upset about the CPC getting angry at Frederick and only accepting him once he's better, I'm angry that they do that and just accept Aurelia. Aurelia is worse now than Frederick was at the start of the series, and they're not doing SHIT.

Like I just read a post about how Aurelia shouldn't be given as much crap as she does because she's a teen, and like dude you're completely right, but it's also like I'm pretty sure Frederick is younger than she is and the CPC actually tried to drug him over an insult and never fucking apologized.
