How am I different since starting my recovery?

I’m optimistic that I can succeed. 1 day at a time can sometimes be hard. Sometimes you have to go 1 hour at a time, especially at the beginning. Now, 2.5 months in, I can go 1 week at a time, and sometimes 1 month at a time. I’m hoping this will continue to escalate to years and eventually decades at a time. Right now, I know I can be sober another month. Just for October.

From the garden this week Cauliflower, Mustardgreens, strawberries, cherries and carrots. Can someone tell me why my carrots remind me of my legs? This was my first time growing them but the look like the can walk on by...lol 😆. I also found out that the garden has a cherry tree yeah.. no I need a ladder or someone taller than me to help pick them. Feeling anxious

My anxiety is so high right now. It was determined at NA last night that I need to focus a little bit more on my recovery and take a slight step back from school. It’s okay if I don’t get a 4.0 this semester. BUT even when I give 110% I fall short of a 4.0…..maybe a 3.7? So, I feel like I can’t afford to take a step back.
