The end feels like a sensory deprevention tank. I've said it in dms. I'll say it out here.

The End is numbing. It's 70°F. It is the space between spaces. There is no wind.

Its like............ Its a whole different domaine imo, like if you go to the End through the portal, you won't be able to find them.

A Watcher's domaine reminds me of like, The Farlands in The Overworld, how things start breaking the closer you get, how far off it is, almost a myth.

The End doesn't feel like anything, the Watchers like it that way, quiet with no distractions. At some point, Grian doesn't feel like anything either.

thinking about the twinyards first summer in South Carolina and how they both talk big game bc it gets plenty hot in California too, and Nicky nods along and buys extra ice cream and fans anyway. the twins refuse to go back on their word but Nicky watches them both make sure to always sit where the fan will hit them, he watches how fast the ice cream is depleted as they tear through it twice as fast as normal. he makes sure to be discreet as he drops water bottles next to them frequently because he knew they would underestimate exactly how hard the humidity would hit them and he knows their prides won't let them ask for it.

It was a very nice weekend, Friday we went to an outdoor concert at the amphitheater, we were surprised that one of the guys who graduated with Andrew and was in the marching band in Arkansas was playing in the band all the way up here in Waterloo. It rained on and off, not much, but we were prepared with our umbrellas and got to see an awesome rainbow, to me that was the highlight of the day, I’m always looking for them and never get to see them.

Saturday we met Adam, the one who’s working Olin out yard, at a nursery, we picked some hydrangeas and got some mulch. We also transplanted a couple of hydrangeas that I had in the side garden. Hopefully they’ll survive. We’ve been careful. I took the refugee I’m sponsoring with a group to work at 2pm and picked her up at 7. Right after I took her home I met David, Tonya and Allen downtown where we waited to see the fireworks. There was a nice concert at the amphitheater so we stood there for a while. When I signed up to take a pick up the refugee lady I had forgotten that it was the same day as the festivities. Otherwise I would had been there earlier. It’s okay though.

Sunday was a down time day. David had to work. I did some cleaning and laundry. Now I’m ready to pack for when I leave Thursday to go to Arkansas and then to the Dominican Republic. I have to work a split shift today and tomorrow so I’ll clean some more in between and pack. Tonight the new receptionist will start at work and I have to train her.
