The interpretation of Rise Raph as a 'perfect responsible soft boy uwu' is so BORING I'm sorry, Raph is a rowdy adrenaline junkie with anxiety and I won't take this slander any longer

Raph secretly kept an enemy soldier in their actual literal house as a sparring partner. Raph glued his brothers together and dragged them out to fight crime. Raph once asked Leo to punch him in the face to prove he 'takes damage like a boss.' Raph tried to lift a school bus, twice. Raph offered to help his favorite wrestler beat his little brother up. When Leo suggests evacuating Bullhop, Raph says no bc the best defense is a good offense babey. Raph's idea of a 'friendly chat' with April's upstairs neighbor is to put on a black ski mask and go stand menacingly at their door. It takes Raph 10 episodes to conclude that they should MAYBE start training. Raph's plan to get a potentially priceless (and potentially FRAGILE) museum artifact is to punch a car in the middle of a busy street and also cut it in half with his brother still inside.

Raph's never met a problem he wouldn't try to punch in the face and does not know the meaning of the words 'excessive force.' He roughhouses with his bros and drags them out to fight villains and thinks any plan that doesn't involve an all-out brawl is boring and lame. He'll do anything to protect his family from harm and be a hero, but also he eats wet salami off the floor and once single-handedly destroyed a library.

I just adore how, at his core, Rise Raph is such a classic Raph—impulsive and stubborn and caring and passionate. He is a very sweet, strong, honorable guy who has a very powerful sense of personal responsibility... and he is also the exact kind of jock who throws you in the pool at a party without checking if you have your phone in your pocket first.

come on guys, the criticism that there aren't any girl characters in sonic 3 is not.. a criticism of them not introducing them in THIS movie. This is the third movie. There was a TV show. The SCU could've introduced a single female character earlier, but they didn't. They took the time to develop a cop, they spent the time talking about Sonic's backstory that's only ever used so the movie has one minute of character being sad. The Knuckles show was an empty void to be filled with literally anything, and they still didn't do it. There was time, the only female character is Maddie, who barely does anything because the plot focuses on her cop boyfriend. It's completely valid to criticize this and saying "they can't introduce another character in sonic 3 because there's other things to do" literally does nothing. Why would anyone defend a huge movie franchise having no female characters after all this time

In a modern world, Jaskier and Geralt are unlikely best friends. Have been for years. An odd new part of the routine however is Jaskier's sudden insistence on watching horror movies nearly every night he and Geralt hang out. It's the last thing they do every time, late at night, sat on the couch together, and it's what they do before Geralt leaves back to his place. They sit by each other on the couch, of course, they're fine with being near each other. They've been best friends for years. But Jaskier's fear of actually paying attention to what's on the screen usually ends up with them cuddling, as Jaskier hides from the movie by shoving his face into Geralt. But Jaskier just keeps asking for the horror movies, so he must like the movies, despite them scaring him. He was always a bit weird. Geralt supposes it's not too odd for his friend. That's why Geralt is incredibly surprised when he gets a call at 3 am from Jaskier's room mate, yelling at him to stop forcing Jaskier to watch movies he's afraid of, because they don't want to deal with Jaskier waking up from nightmares any more. Jaskier meanwhile thinks that the night terrors are TOTALLY worth getting an excuse to cuddle Geralt nearly every night. It's been so many years of being deeply in love with his best friend, and he's like a starving man being fed crumbs. He's just glad Geralt hasn't seemed to catch on yet!
