If you're not great at spotting AI art, there are a few free sites to help you figure it out...
(The first link, AI or Not is the fastest / easiest imho but selection is rarely a bad thing.)
Really helpful if you're getting a fanart commission or book cover or something and someone is trying to trick you into paying for an AI creation. AI technology gets better all the time so you can't always rely on the usual "tells." But if it looks off and you want to double check, here are some ways to do it!

PSA that ai-detection tools are not yet as accurate as I wish they were. Here's hoping they improve QUICKLY, 🙏 but in the meantime, please be aware of both false positives and false negatives!
This reaffirms the importance of sharing WIPS, even though they are ugly and I don't wanna 😭😭

AI scanners are such a fucking joke and it’s not funny at all.
I was writing my final English essay, and I put a lot of effort into it. It took a long time, like 40 something minutes, but I finished it and turned it in hoping to get a good grade.
It was flagged as AI by 5 different scanners. FIVE. DIFFERENT. SCANNERS.
I worked so hard on that stupid essay and all I got in return was having to desperately plead to my teacher that I DID in fact write it. I’ve had this teacher for 3 years now (I do in-person online classes and he oversees online work) so thankfully he didn’t penalize me or have me redo it because he knows I wouldn’t use AI. I got lucky, but what if it happened with a teacher who didn’t know me well enough to trust me on this??
I’m so tired of AI scanners. They don’t do their job correctly. I’ve heard so many classmates brag about using AI and getting good grades for it, but the moment I put in actual effort I get flagged FIVE TIMES????
It’s just such a fucking joke. AI scanners aren’t accurate, they just flag anything that has a formal/monotonous tone and uses big words. Which isn’t even accurate to the AI I have seen before. Why am I getting in trouble for putting in effort but the lazy jerk next to me gets an A for using chatgpt?? It’s just not fair and I’m so so incredibly frustrated I can’t even begin to explain it.
I don’t even think there’s ever going to be a way AI scanners can accurately tell what is AI and what isn’t, because it only flags certain writing styles. Not just AI uses these writing styles!! Where do you think it learned that from!! You cannot possibly tell what is AI and what isn’t just based off of that. It’s unfair, inaccurate, and screws over anyone who actually tries on their work. It’s bullshit.

Don't trust the "AI detector" things. I just wanted to see how accurate it could be, as it's a great way to know if writers are real one or not. Asked random text to AI.
Out of 4, the thing detected 3 as "probably written by a human".
Then I put my own text to see… same, I put 4 differents one and 2 have been noted as "probably written by an AI"… should I precise all the text I put in this were written waaay before AI even exist XD (thoses I wrote when in high school and some recent but still before this crazy AI thing) The reason? (because yes, there is details about it) "this sentence look similare to another book, it's problably copyrithed work copied by the AI" ah, yes "Once upon a time" and "they lived happily ever after" are SOOOO rare in books!!
Also, every time a difficult word is used, or a sentence is a little weird (yeah I'm sorry, english not my first language, of course there is mistakes) it immediately detect it as AI. Like… humans can't use difficult words apparently XD
And I put a little part of the book I wrote all in ryhmes… and so I'm forced to put weird sentence to have the ryhmes right XD BTW, the random text I asked to the AI were sh*t. I think we don't need a detector to know when we see one.
Remember the AI detectors are actually AI tools too...
Oh also… I tried with the french version of my texts. The exact same texts I tried in english and the percentages was waaaay lower, it only got crazy about the ryhmes book again… but then, like… every english peoples are AI??
To the teachers who use this stupid thing, don't thrust it! Don't give detention just because that thing said the text of your student have been written by AI. You'll totally know it if it's the case!
OMG I'm thinking of all of the poor students who got detention unfairly because of this thing...

Stop Trusting AI Detection Tools
youtube
This is just a PSA, but if you don't trust AI to give you answers because they can lie, don't trust them to tell you when something else is AI generated.

Found this web called Illuminarty that can help you identify whether an image is AI generated or not and thought some might wanna use it. It shows you a percentage of probabilities that image is AI and it can also be used for AI generated text. Here's an example:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's a logo I made and the proof of it. If I drop this image in Illuminarty it gives me a low percentage.
Tumblr media
It doesn't need to be 0% to mean it isn't AI generated. This tool is probably analysing patterns it finds in AI art so it may need more versions to be better, but if it's an AI generated image the number usually is 50% or higher.

How AI Humanizer Pro Helps Researchers Turn AI Drafts into Publication-Ready Papers
Imagine investing years into a groundbreaking study, only to face rejection because your paper lacks a natural tone. Or relying on AI tools to speed up your writing—only for your content to be flagged. A survey involving 908 environmental science researchers revealed that non-native English speakers are 2.5 to 3 times more likely to have papers rejected due to language issues. These problems are usually aggravated by mechanical phrasing by AI tools. This inhibits publication and even discourages great minds from continuing research.
To assist in solving these problems, AI Humanizer Pro provides an enhanced solution to fill the gap between AI Humanizer and publication-ready writing.
AI Humanizer: The Assistant That Polishes Your Research Voice
AI Humanizer Pro is an easy-to-use tool designed to transform robotic, AI-written drafts into natural, readable scholarly work. Whether you are writing using ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar software to write, this tool smoothes your writing without losing the original research intent. It refines tone, enhances structure, and makes writing read as if it were written by a human being.
Perfect for students, scholars, and researchers, it's your best companion to produce authentic and eloquent academic content.
Why AI-Generated Content More Often Than Not Fails in Academia
Though AI platforms make it easy to write, journal editors and research reviewers are now more vigilant than ever. With the prevalence of AI detection software, even well-researched articles can get flagged or rejected if they appear machine-written.
Common problems are repetitive language, ambiguous statements, and weak linkage between ideas. Even with thorough research, your paper may lose reliability and experience delays or rejections for unnatural tone.
Common Problems in AI-Aided Research Writing
Robotic Tone: Robot-like drafts are common when AI generates them, even when grammatically sound.
Overlooked Academic Purpose: AI tends to overgeneralize or misuse technical vocabulary, resulting in muddled or deceptive conclusions.
Detection by AI Checkers: Most journals now employ AI checker software to verify content originality, and machine-generated content tends to get detected.
Non-native Writers and AI: Most researchers employ AI software to polish grammar, but it can still lead to stilted or formulaic writing—particularly in abstracts or literature reviews.
How AI Humanizer Pro Fixes AI-Writing Pitfalls
Natural Academic Language Transformation: The software rewrites content in natural human fluency, as if the voice is a real researcher's.
Preserves Original Research Context: It enhances flow without changing your arguments or findings.
Evades AI Detection Tools: With advanced processing, it minimizes patterns that cause AI detection tools to activate while maintaining content authenticity.
Several Tone Presets: From academic to conversational, the software lets you control tone to suit your publication standards.
Why AI Humanizer Pro Trumps Simple Grammar Tools
Better than Grammar Checks: It rewrites content with academic style in mind, not just fixing sentences.
Addresses AI-generated Flaws: It eliminates robotic language, redundancy, and vague statements, so your writing flows and grabs attention.
Increases Trust with Humanized Tone: By humanizing AI work, the tool makes reviewers view your paper as well-written and credible—not a product of cut corners.
Your Trusted Research Partner
AI Humanizer Pro is not merely a language tool—it's a crucial friend in your publishing journey. From polishing a dissertation, proposal, or journal article, it makes machine-written text into a version that is natural, submission-worthy, and free of red flags.
Copy and paste your text, select your tone, and let AI Humanizer Pro make your research sparkle risk-free.

Why Plagiarism Checkers Are Essential in the World of Digital Media
In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, content is everywhere — blogs, videos, social media posts, websites, newsletters, and more. With this explosion of information comes a less glamorous reality: plagiarism is becoming increasingly common, whether intentional or not. That’s why plagiarism checkers are no longer just tools for students or academics — they’ve become essential assets for digital media professionals, publishers, and businesses alike.
This article takes a deep dive into why plagiarism checkers are crucial in digital media, how they help protect brands and creators, and what you should look for when choosing one.
What Is Plagiarism in Digital Media?
Let’s start with the basics. Plagiarism isn’t just about copy-pasting someone else’s words. In digital media, it comes in many shapes and forms:
Textual Plagiarism: Copying blog content, product descriptions, social captions, or articles without proper attribution.
Visual Plagiarism: Using images, infographics, videos, or designs without credit or licensing.
Content Paraphrasing Without Attribution: Rewriting ideas or rephrasing existing content without acknowledging the original source.
AI-generated Content Based on Existing Material: Using AI to recreate existing articles or digital content without original input or proper citation.
With digital content being so easily accessible, unintentional plagiarism is just as likely as deliberate theft.
The High Stakes of Digital Content Theft
Plagiarism in digital media is more than an ethical misstep — it can lead to severe reputational, legal, and financial consequences.
1. Search Engine Penalties
Search engines like Google value original content. If your blog, website, or publication features duplicated content — whether it was lifted from another site or appears too similar to existing content — you could face:
Lower rankings or complete deindexing from search engines.
Reduced organic visibility, which affects traffic, engagement, and revenue.
Damage to your site’s domain authority and trustworthiness.
2. Brand Reputation
Credibility is everything in the digital age. If your audience or clients find out you’ve used plagiarized content — even unintentionally — it can:
Erode trust.
Spark public backlash.
Damage long-term relationships with partners and stakeholders.
3. Copyright Lawsuits
Stealing copyrighted text, images, or even snippets from competitors can lead to:
Cease and desist letters.
Legal fees and settlements.
Content takedowns or DMCA complaints.
4. Loss of Revenue
If you’re running a business that depends on ads, affiliate links, or digital product sales, plagiarism-related penalties (like site bans or demonetisation) can directly affect your income.
Who Needs Plagiarism Checkers in Digital Media?
You might be surprised how many professionals and industries rely on plagiarism checkers today. Here’s a snapshot:
➤ Content Creators & Bloggers
When you’re publishing high volumes of content regularly, the chance of accidental duplication increases. Plagiarism checkers act like a content proofreader with an eagle eye.
➤ SEO & Marketing Teams
Marketers juggle multiple campaigns and platforms — blogs, emails, ads, social posts. Originality is key to standing out, and plagiarism tools help ensure every word is fresh.
➤ Journalists & Publishers
With tight deadlines and pressure to publish breaking stories, media outlets can sometimes paraphrase or quote sources without attribution. Plagiarism checkers offer an additional layer of editorial integrity.
➤ Business Owners & Startups
From pitch decks and product descriptions to investor updates, originality matters. A small copied phrase could spiral into lost investor trust or lawsuits.
➤ Social Media Managers
Memes, captions, and bite-sized content often “borrow” from others. But when building a brand voice, you want to avoid reposting plagiarised content without giving credit.
➤ Students & Educators
Though not strictly part of “digital media,” academia increasingly overlaps with online publishing. Student projects, academic blogs, and faculty research also need plagiarism protection.
Why Plagiarism Happens in Digital Media
Digital media thrives on speed, scale, and storytelling. But those same traits can open the door to unoriginal or stolen content.
🔹 1. The Need for Speed
Deadlines are tight. Teams are churning out blogs, email campaigns, and social media posts on a daily basis. In the rush to publish, content creators may paraphrase or quote without thinking twice.
🔹 2. Content Saturation
In saturated niches like health, finance, tech, or lifestyle, it’s hard to write something that hasn’t already been said. But there’s a fine line between inspiration and imitation.
🔹 3. Team-Based Content Creation
Larger organisations may have multiple writers working on the same themes or products. Internal duplication (duplicate content within your own site) can harm SEO just as much as external plagiarism.
🔹 4. AI-Generated Content
AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Bard make content creation faster, but without proper prompts and edits, these tools can unintentionally pull phrases or patterns similar to existing web content. This raises questions about originality and attribution.
How Plagiarism Checkers Help
✅ They Scan at Scale
Whether you’re publishing one blog a week or 100 articles a month, a good plagiarism checker scans your content against billions of pages — news sites, academic journals, forums, and more.
✅ They Highlight Similarities
Advanced tools don’t just point out that something’s copied. They show specific overlaps, percentage scores, and even suggest sources for citation.
✅ They Detect AI Content
Some plagiarism tools now come equipped with AI detectors, which help determine whether content may have been generated by AI, and whether that AI might have mimicked existing work.
✅ They Support Citations
If you’re quoting a source intentionally, plagiarism checkers can help ensure proper citation styles are followed — APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.
✅ They Provide Peace of Mind
For content creators, marketers, and editors, using a plagiarism checker is like running a final safety test. You know your content is clean, credible, and ready for the public eye.
Features to Look for in a Plagiarism Checker for Digital Media
Not all plagiarism tools are created equal. When choosing one for your digital media workflow, look for:
🔍 Comprehensive Web Crawling
Ensure it scans a large number of sources, including news articles, blogs, forums, and academic journals.
🔍 AI Detection
Can it detect content that might have been generated by tools like ChatGPT or other LLMs?
🔍 Citation Generator
Some plagiarism checkers include built-in citation tools that can help you automatically generate accurate citations when necessary.
🔍 Paraphrasing Suggestions
A bonus feature: If plagiarism is detected, does the tool help you rewrite or rephrase the flagged content?
🔍 User-Friendly Interface
Whether you’re solo or part of a team, ease of use matters. Look for batch uploads, export reports, and integrations with platforms like Google Docs or WordPress.
🔍 Privacy and Data Security
Make sure your content isn’t stored or reused. The best tools promise secure, non-retentive scanning.
Real-World Example: Quetext in Digital Media Workflows
Let’s take Quetext — a leading plagiarism checker used by professionals and educators. Here’s how it fits into digital media routines:
Writers can scan long-form content like eBooks and blog posts to ensure originality before publishing.
Editors can use it during the review process to flag issues early on.
Agencies can send clients plagiarism reports as part of their content assurance.
Marketing teams can verify AI-assisted copy to avoid duplications or auto-generated bias.
With its DeepSearch™ technology, built-in citation generator, and AI detection features, Quetext empowers creators to maintain quality and credibility in their content.
How Often Should You Run a Plagiarism Check?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, but here’s a helpful rule of thumb:
Blog Posts: Every time before publishing
Landing Pages: Once per page update
Social Media Captions: Weekly batch check
Email Campaigns: Per campaign launched
Books / Whitepapers: Once at the final draft stage
AI-generated Content: Always double-check
Final Thoughts: It’s About Integrity and Impact
In the digital age, content isn’t just information — it’s your brand voice, trust factor, and often your competitive edge. That’s why plagiarism checkers aren’t optional anymore — they’re mission-critical.
Whether you’re a creator writing from scratch, a brand repurposing older posts, or a business leveraging AI tools, you must know that your content is original and credible.
So the next time you’re about to hit “Publish” — pause, paste your content into a plagiarism checker like Quetext, and give it a once-over. That quick extra step can save you a world of headaches — and protect the digital reputation you’ve worked hard to build.
