It's time again to look at Thunder Junction's cards and try and divine where each and every one of these bad boys are from.

Also just a note in case people are curious; since Tumblr has a 30 image limit per post, I'll be doing all of The Big Score at the end, after all the colours and stuff. It's my prerogative and I'll do as I please. If you missed the first part, you can find it here! So without further ado, it is time for...

BLUE

While I don't think EVERY mount is from Thunder Junction Proper... newts ARE a creature that shows up in the west. I was initially thinking this could be for Eldraine, especially given it belongs to an archmage, but... ultimately, I think this is a native to the plane.

Another native, and dare I say this is a CHARISMATIC crab. I love the crystals on its back! I also love the blue cacti nearby it? Those are real by the way!

There aren't many turtle-men in Magic. Three, in fact, before this one; the Lagoon Sage, a Quandrix student, and a Kappa from Kamigawa. The Kappa has a VERY distinct look, the Quandrix is a sea turtle, and the Lagoon Sage is a snapper just like the Thunder-Thief over here... and I'm gonna make a called shot and say this is from Bloomburrow as a result!

Homarid are a Dominaria specialty, so this racist bastard is absolutely from there.

Djinn of this type are only found on Tarkir, so this one is easy. He's taken a break from his dragon-infested plane to relax under a waterfall martial artist style, and that's just kinda fun.

This is a tricky one, since the ability is pretty plane agnostic, and the design doesn't evoke much in it... but her collar DOES have the typical three-fang Dimir tell, and it'd fit both colour and what she's doing, so lets go with Ravnica.

Sadly a cursory Wiki glance tells me only that this guy is from America.

... okay okay, taking this seriously; the wings and the scroll and the steps, the name, all the flavour suggests this is from Amonkhet for me. It could be from elsewhere, but this feels the most "correct" for lack of a better term. I wish cards like this would get flavor text reprints down the line though...

These are some home-grown ghosts, and we know from various other stories (Gideon, Elspeth, etc) that when you die you go to the afterlife of the plane you're on... so these are some newly "born" natives.

These unfortunate individuals are from the dead plane of Oregon.

... what? I already used that joke? Okay fine. There really isn't any actual signifiers here, and the only humanoid in the art is too indistinct to tell. Given the content of the card is trying and failing to ford one of Thunder Junction's mighty rivers, I'm calling this card "native to the plane" for lack of anything else appropriate.

Oh hey it's everyone's favorite running gag from Ravnica. Fblthp is an easy one, so instead of elaborating more on our mono-eyed friend instead I'll bring up a question I want any of you reading this to answer.

Didn't they say during the initial preview teasers that there was an important plot event happening in the background of this card? That never bore fruit and I can't remember the exact preview stream I heard it, but I swear I did. I want someone to confirm this for me. I'm abusing my power.

Regrettably, the flavor text makes this spell be sourced from Oko's Home Plane. I do love this weird tumbleweed creature though!

A personal favorite character of mine, Geralf is an Innistradi born and raised, here to investigate the Thunder of the plane- as well as test how mana bonds work for planebound folk now that they have access to planar travel. Good luck, sir.

An obvious native of the plane. I quite like the flavor of this card as well by the way, it's just a clever way to incorporate the geysers you would occasionally see in the old west.

Another Thunder Junction native! It's wild how many of these there actually are, but wild animals do make up a bulk of cards in Magic so it's not THAT unreasonable.

Fun lore tidbit; allegedly the Thunder only started after the Omenpaths opened up. No one has lived here before that so no one can confirm that is true, and this flavor text suggests otherwise.

One of the only cards showcasing the least important members of Oko's gang of ruffians! Kaervek and Satoru busting out of jail thanks to the help of Annie Flash. The framing of the card makes it feel more like Kaervek's doing the real world (valid, Satoru is a loser this entire story) so I'm gonna call it for Zhalfir here- and yes even though technically everyone from Zhalfir is from Dominaria, it's a plane all its own now. I make the rules here!

The Fomorian made star-key to open up their vault on Thunder Junction, I feel like it is safe to say this was made here. It's got little arcs of Thunder and even looks like a deputy star, so it fits the vibe.

Fun fact; being a six pointed star, plus the fact that in the story they mentioned the sixth slot started glowing purple, I briefly had the idea that they might be implying the Fomorian's know of Purple magic and we'll get it in the big Space set we're getting down the line. Then I remembered Cosmium is purple and a major energy source for the Fomorion people, so nevermind.

I can't confidently say this is from Bloomburrow, given we don't know how big the people of that plane can get- so far they've maxed out at Badger and Fox- but I really don't know where this guy could be from otherwise! Maybe Ravnica? So lets call this Bloomburrow until corrected otherwise.

Incidentally this is one of my favorite pieces of art in the set. Love this fucking guy.

Beyond all the art signifiers, I believe it was straight up said on twitter this is a Therosian Sphinx, so she's from Theros. Good for her. Why is she wearing spurs...?

I'm fairly confident this is meant to depict Stella Lee, and she's from the Atiin people, so that's where this is from! Rundo meanwhile sounds like a Ravnica, but that's just some trivia.

This one I'm not fully sure on. The little bird like flecks of white in his magic, the watery energy... I feel like I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't quite place it. The red and blue suggests Izzet but then he's a Slickshot, the red-blue faction on Thunder Junction. I'm gonna go with my gut and say Ravnica, though.

Shit like this is why I wish we'd gotten a planeswalker guide...

Blue, so far, has some of the most easy and obvious ones to place, and for this I'm thankfully. This guy is a Stitcher, so he's from Innistrad. Easy as.

She's got some of the Sterling Company aesthetic going on, but I'm a stickler for stupid jokes so I'm gonna say she's from Zendikar. The armor could evoke Sea Gate, and they've always been good with ropes so why NOT translate that to combat?

Like with the earlier ghosts, dead-then-revived means you're native to Thunder Junction... but also this guy is clearly an Obscura from New Capenna, using some of his old magic, so I'mma call it for the big city here.

The sort of misty blasts of fire and ice we're seeing here is aesthetically similar to the "gunfire" magic of New Capenna. I love this guy by the way.

YEah for those of you who don't know, the Ashiok in this set is actually Jace in disguise! So this is from home-grown celtic Vryn mind-shredding. Our hero(?) ladies and gentlehommes.

An actual Sterling Company goon, though at least this one has a funny joke to his card. I still really like the work they did in making sure every weapon used in the set has the needed arcing loop for Thunder to channel through it.

Oh right the reason why we're here. I'm gonna say New Capenna again, because there's basically no defining traits here. Also god I just realized he's missing the front brim of his hat and it looks terrible. Graywater pay your men properly they can't even afford complete hats!

It took me a bit to realize what was happening in this card. The lady in the back is only choosing the final Spree option here, swapping around the Outcaster and the Hellspur's clothing. Rude!

Clothing swap spells seems like a funny prank to pull at magical college, so Arcavios is where this is going.

I think in cases where I just cannot make any reasonable assumptions based on art, I should look at mechanics. Flashback is usually in Innistrad... but this lady's neckline is WAY too exposed for that Even accounting for the new plane... honestly I give up, the only real identifying factor here is her little lockpick device, which... kinda looks Kamigawan? Lets go with that.

The vibe, the way she wears her hat, and the little phone cord(?) on her belt makes me think of New Capenna. Look some of these are really difficult and I gotta go by vibes!

Absolutely. My secret goal is to keep the conversation going back and forth for the longest possible time because I love the opportunity for a good ramble about my writing 😈

I wanna say Ad vitam æternam (L'art du crime)? I mean, it's literally an MCD fic, so, not that merry... Also if I remember correctly, Always lost in the sea (HPI) doesn't end on a very hopeful note either.

I don't know? All of them? None? I generally tend to go for happy open endings with that extra bit of bittersweet so I really couldn't tell. But hey, maybe the ending to that thing I'm currently writing actually is the happiest of it all, because oh boy, things do get cheesy at some point 🥺

No at all! Unless you count that one person who commented on several chapters of whichever long GG fic I wrote just to point blank hate on Beth character lol

Of course I do (in English only), I like my porn toxic and desperate and angsty with just the right amount of power play and mutual hatred. Basically, I write hatefuck 😂

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not really, no... I've tried a couple of times, but I think I'm better at/more interested in mimicking existing interactions than inventing a dynamic between characters who never met canonically (and also, boy the kind of SETUP you need to justify some characters crossing paths... it's just too much work). I'm more of a cameo/easter egg kind of writer, so once in a while I'll allow a character from another fandom to pop up in a fic and say hi, but it's really a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of encounter.

I guess my craziest attempt would be that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend / Good Girls crossover that I never finished though, cause like, super different moods?

It's All Coming Back To Me, obviously. Look, I really really want to finish it, not even for me at this point, but for the 120-something people who subscribed to it, for the faithful readers who still leave me comments every now and then hoping for closure. I know how it ends. I have it partially written. I just don't seem to know how to write for Good Girls anymore, and getting my head back into it feels like such an insurmountable load of work, I just- I'm trying, ok?

But like, if someone's interested in helping, or even writing that ending based on my notes (and getting full and proper credits for it obvi), just let me know! I'm really open to it 🥲

16. What are your writing strengths?

Probably dialogues? I've been told many times that my dialogues feel very close to the original, and the thing is, I write about TV shows and I have a very good ear so I think I catch quite easily the actors' voices and tones and mannerisms in my head, so every time I write down a line, I play it several times in my mind with the character's voice to determine whether they would say it like that or not. Looks like it's not working so bad.

Also I *think* I'm not too bad at stream-of-consciousness inner monologues. At least it's one of my favourite things to write so there's that.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Action scenes (that includes sex lol). Filling the gaps between the important parts. Descriptions. Setting up the scene.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Like, featuring two different languages inside the same fic, or writing in different languages? I'm not sure I've ever really written the first one? I guess I find it a bit clunky, occasionally I've written scenes that included a character whose native language wasn't the one of the fic, and I'd give them a line or two if that's relevant to the plot (for instance, if characters are lost somewhere in another country, I can add a line/dialogue in another language for comedic effect. Or it can be a way for a character to whisper something for themselves), but the logistics are quite nightmarish, you gotta either assume your audience knows the second language, or translate the lines in the author's note, or have another character translate it in a way that doesn't sound too articifial, that's really really tedious haha

My qualifications are that I’ve been listening to K-pop for 6 years, so I kinda know a lot. Also no hate to any of the artists mentioned, you can have your own opinions and I’ll have mine. Six

Once again (just like with every morally grey character I think) there's a war between "she's a monster" and "she's an angel". Six, as a character, is very cool because there's no dialogue or anything in the Little Nightmares games, and a lot of things that are just not showed. The whole point is everyone can have their own interpretations and theories. But Six is just so disrespected by the fandom ! On one side, it's "she's a monster, we hate her, she's selfish and uses people to get what she wants !" On the other side it's "she's a kid and my favorite character so by default she can't be a bad person, she's actually a sweet and pure angel !" None of them are right. For the first ones... Six isn't that much of a monster. And I'm gonna say it : yes, she is a literal kid. That doesn't mean she can't be bad, but she thinks like a kid. She probably cared for Mono before she betrayed him – we can see her trying to help him when he was in the TVs. She probably has a reason why she betrayed him. There's a lot of different theories on that and none of them is more valid than the others because again you're meant to have your own interpretation, so I won't tell any of the popular theories here. You can think she did it for selfish reasons. That doesn't mean she's a literal monster, and that doesn't mean the people who don't think it was selfish are mischaracterizing her. For the second ones... I don't even know what to tell you. If there's one CLEAR thing in these games, it's that Six is morally grey and could do something scary at any moment. As the player you're literally MEANT to be scared of her and what she could do. In the first game you are meant to slowly realize her hunger isn't human. You can also see how she doesn't try to help any of the kids trapped here, she's just helping herself. In the second one she does scary thing all along the game to keep you scared that she could kill and eat Mono at any time, only for her to betray him in the worst way possible at the end. We don't know her reasons but she still did it. Six is a morally grey character. She's just a kid trying to survive in a world full of monsters. She's also full of darkness, acts like a creep and eats literal people. You can't say she's "just a monster", the same way you can't say she's "a little angel who did nothing wrong".

The whole thing with Little Nightmares is that the world is terrifying and horrible. It is eat or be eaten in the most literal sense. Six does what she has to to survive. Has she done some bad things? Yes. Was it her fault? …Debatable. But the fandom treats this CHILD like she’s the worst person to ever exist. Like, she’s not even ten years old. She’s a survivor. Mono did plenty of questionable things too, but I’ve never seen anyone hate on him.

Daisy Tonner

A lot of people just. Write her character off, especially in the earlier seasons, as acab. She did bad things as a cop while she was being taken over by an evil eldritch entity, but everyone just kinda focuses more on the do part than yk. Evil eldritch entity. Now I ain’t gonna justify her actions, she was indeed kinda a bitch, but she was also under the influence of the Hunt, and been for I think decades at the point where we first meet her. Afterwards she ofc got her redemption arc, but everyone (both in canon, but also fandom) treated her like shit even after that, when she was trying to be better. Idk, maybe I’m a daisy simp, maybe IM the one viewing the character wrong, idk. I’m just mad at everyone writing everything off as her being a cop when it was also A PRIMORDIAL GOD OF FEAR THAT WAS PRACTICALLY POSSESSING HER

Girl is a brutal cop who murders people. She is also someone who resisted the absolute pull of the Fears in TMA and didn’t hunt anyone for multiple weeks, something the main character couldn’t even do. She’s incredible bc she is literally like. Grey grey. She’s a fascinating character and cannot be good nor bad depending on how you interpret end actions vs intent.

She did try to slit the main character's throat, and she did do a ton of police brutality- BUT she got a redemtion arc. She tried to better herself. She gave herself over to a evil fear god in order to protect her friends. Her arc is about how it's never too late to try to be better, and about how you can accidently drag others down with you and about how sometimes we become monsters when we want to be better. And I swear- everyone either thinks she's evil or she's good. No inbetween.

You know what? Why the hell not? It's not like I could hate my life more than before.

So, the Wednesday Netflix series existed in this bizarre universe called a crossover. However, I gonna expand and change some kf the lore because I kinda hate it. Also, this is a Wenclair fic, of course.

History

Not much, just that Ostrace, mytholog/magical beings (I not calling them outcast, so stupid of a name) lived in hiding Harry Potter-style until the First Quirk generation happened. Since Non-Quirks -the majority - either, at the best, barely tolerated them, it created an unusual alliance. They formed either community or enclave to protect themselves from non-Quirks. Many were killed during the Exposure.

However, after the Great Awakening, Quirks-Ostrace relationships are kind of stagnated. Ostrace are more accepted west of the Rocky Mountains due to their alliance, but east is dependable. In half of Eastern Europe, many outright despises them, especially against Vampire (will explain that later).

They do have good relations with the Boiling Isles, and some are accepted into isles.

Ostrace... ethnicities? Race? Species?

There are many different types of Ostrace, but they could be categorized in 5 major category: Therians (shape-shifters), Sanguinarians (feeds on blood/aether), Otherkins (mixture of human and animal), Mage-kinds (Humans with innate magic), and Miscraces (difficult to categorized). Every Ostrace is innate to magic. Ostrace made up 1% of non Witch-Kinds, Demon-Kinds, Amphibians, and whatever is going on in Mewni world population, which is 128 million. Also, Ostraces are not different species but are the same ones (for in-types). For instance, Lycan and Kitsune are the same species but just different ethnicities.

Ostrace cannot genetically inherited quirks. However, it is possible for non-quirks and quirks to wield magic, though difficult, especially those who have quirks (oof, Luz). Many, if not all, Ostraces believe in local deities and stuff, like Kitsunes believing the 9-tail Fox and Lycans believing Selene. The reason is that universal religions usually focus only on humans (excluding Mage-kind). It doesn't help that many, especially Christianity and Islam, kinda committed mass ethnic cleansing and stuff.

Therians or Furs

Derive from therianthropy, it means that people have the ability to shift into animal, usually referred to their inner-beast. Though they're widespread, they shifted into specific animals depending on regions. Lycans, for instance, are founded in Europe, and they can shift into wolves. They can only shift in their full form if it's between waxing and waning gibbous. Or they are wearing a special amulet that it allows them to shift one. However, shifting with this method drains a lot of energy, especially in the waning phases. They could shift into a furry-like form daily (lol). Young Lycans have difficulty controlling their wolf form during their adolescence.

Another Therian ethnicity is Kitsune, or Fox-shifters, in East Asia. Their shifting is more malleable than Lycans; they could shift into an actual fox size daily or could shift into a horse-size fox between waxing and waning gibbous. They can also keep some fox trait in their human form !usuallyears and tails). Kistune hates humans, especially men, due to many atrocities committed by them. There are a handful of Kistune colonies, the highest population - almost 25k - live in the independent State of Hokkaido. They have the longest lifespan among Therians (a millennium), how many tails indicate how old they are (maximum is nie), and they're a mono-sex race (meaning they have gay sex to reproduce, lol).

Hydes like Tyler will be categorized here, though they're viewed more like curses than Therians.

Sanguinarians or Fangs

Sanguinarians are being who need to feed on blood and/or aether from another being in order to live. Some ethnicities are vampire ( the most famous, can turn into bats, also called European lesser vampire, and more common), Nosferatu (can turn into a horse-size flightless bat, called European greater vampire, and are rarer), Penanggal (lived across East and Southeast Asia, have bat-wings, could detach their head and enlarge it, also, too, have lesser and greater kinds), etc.

What makes a vampire a lessers and greaters is based on how they feed. If they drink only blood, they will be a lesser, if aether (for a long period) than greater. Lessers are weaker than greaters, have shorter lifespans (500 comparative to 1000+ years), have fewer thralls (1-3 to 100s), and greaters can either turn humans into their kind or can reproduce (lesser are sterile). However, lessers could survive in sunlight, though weakened (greater will combust intofire). Lessers could willingly be misanthrope, greaters have psychopathic traits, including apathetic towards humans (and likely other races) and only viewing them as food, or at least inferior.

The reason why vampires are despised in Eastern Europe is that after Quirks started forming, Russia started another conquest into the region. The Manse of Dracula, who secretly ruled Transylvania (Grand Duchy of Transylvania), allied with Russia in exchange for POW, or any Eastern Euro civilians, as blood supplies (think Promised Neverland). Because of that, many Eastern Euro hated them, excepted Transylvanians, because they were except from it and protected from the war (they still expected to pay taxes though a liter of blood per month).

Yoko Tanaka (lesser) is a member of Manse of Dracula, and she is related to Carmilla (greater).

Otherkins or Scales/Stoners

Otherkins are a bit of a board term but mainly means their body are a mixture of human animal, and unlike Therians, it's their true form. They could still form a full human form, either self-casting or using an amulet like Therians. Like Therians and Sanguinarians, they have different ethnicities that many non-ostrace thought they were different speicies. However, unlike them, Otherkins has a like raco-ethnic thing (?). Like, technically they're the same speicies, but like there are groups that are not considered in the same race. Like Sirens (living in warmer) and Mer-forks (colder climate and are fatter) will considered the same race but just different ethnicities. But some with similar characteristics are considered different speices, like Grogan, are considered the same race with Lamia, Nāga, and the likes ( they, like Kitsune, are mono-sex race). There are other Otherkins like Centaur, Satyr, Harpy/Sirin/Kinnara (mono-sex), etc.

Like Therians, some have difficulty with their power in their adolescence, like Ajax and Grogans, who have to wear slouchy hat in order not to turn themselves or other into stone. It is with age and practice that they don't need to wear it.

For interspecies childrearing, they don't have hybrids. Instead, the infant will inherited one of the parents race, but will get either of their characteristics. For instance, if Yoko and Divina where to have children one day, they will either be a vampire or siren, but they will get both parents' physical traits, being biracial

(G-d, I hope this doesn't sound like scientific racism, fucking shit.)

Mage-Kinds

Mage, spellcastor, whatever you want to call it, they are humans who have, for generations, practice magic or some form of it. I will kinda base their society on HP, though not as much. They don't really form large, complex governmental structures until after their reveal. They form enclaves that help concealed magic away from non-quirk and create schooling for becoming mages, which then start accepting other Ostrace. Mage-Kinds do discrimination against other Ostraces (Nevermore was meant to school non-humans because Mage-kind academies never accepted their enrollments).

There are some Mage-kind that practice magic differently and formed more isolated society like Witch clans. Witch Clans practice witchcraft and are all women. They existed for many centuries but became more isolated during the Witch Hunt, rarely interacting with other non-Witch Ostraces, even after magic was exposed to non-Quirks (they use magic in order to have children). Eugene Ottinger-Xul, for instance, along with his mothers, was formerly in a Witch Clan until he identified as a boy (he's trans). Since men are forbidden, the Matriarch demanded the mothers to stop his transition, and when they refused, they were banished. (It's not because he's trans, but due he being a boy now. Many clans have accepted transwomen into their, it only that Eugene now identified himself as a boy is the problem.)

Miscrace

Miscraces (miscellany races) are a group of races that are unrelated and cannot be categorized, are too unique to form into one, or other reason.

Some Miscrace are Yeti, kappa/dai-kappa (mono-sex), Bake-danuki, Dragon-kin (both lesser and greater), Ymir-barn (sometimes called Jotnar, believed to be extinct), Troll (nice people, many are against eating sapients), etc.

Magic

I basing the magic system from my own original universe, one of which is called Erden (Earth in Anglisċ; the Norman never invaded England, and Doggerland is visible. Also, Doggerland is the Riverland version of Erden). Mainly, magic is more scientific, that there is an energy called Aether that binds the Five Fundamental Forces of Nature, and therefore, connected every particle in the universe. That means every living species, including bacterias, fungus, plants, animals, and sapients, including humans, has it. The only reason non-mage/non-quirks humans didn't discover it before because either they don't have the right equipment (needing it either infused with aetheric energy or aetheric tech) or because they mistake it for something else (it is radioactive).

(You will die of acute radiation poison from being near them if you're not a Witch-Kind, Deomon-Kind, or Ostrace).

There are different applications of magic, like focusing magic (chi ) more inward, which could increase strength and use hand motion with symbols to cast spells (like Naruto). But that is too difficult, physically intense, and takes too long. There are magic systems that are more scientific, like wizardry and alchemy (just chemistry with aetheric applications).

For wizardry, it is the most common school of magic due to 1. Quite easy to learn, master, and has far more versatility to aplicated. And 2. Colonialism. Wizards use ambient magic to cast spells, channeling it through their body to cast it, using a wand (or a staff if you need to blow up a building) as a conductor. If casting too long or using an over-excessive amount of magic, it could, in best case, only cause nerve damage, or worst case, bring burnt up like a bonfire. Witch-kinds mock them for using a "baby wand," wizards mock them for getting asthma if they used magic for too long.

Wizardry constructed a language and writing script for their spells. Languages, they realize, are just programming people to recognize objects and abstracts with symbols and sounds. If I ask you what-

So, wizards use their conlang to "program" themselves by focusing on a specific word (usually pronouncing it) and conducting aether to cast a spell. Because of this, it could take hours, maybe weeks to learn and cast spells. Also, using this conlang for conversation is forbidden; it is possible to accidentally cast a spell.

The conlang is based on Latin, and it uses a runic (like Germanic rune) syllabary (like Japanese) writing system in order to engrave it onto stones for warding. One such spell is Lusi -light, and it's spoken in two syllabaries, lu-si.

Sorcery isn't a different way of casting magic but continues a field in an advanced form of schooling, like post-grads and master's degrees.

There are different fields of wizardry, including but not limiting to: biourgy (studying and applications of magic in life), geourgy (study and application of geology), aethology (physic, but aether is involved), technurgy/magitek (engineering with magic, instance crafting a magitek wand with room-temperature superconductor as the core length with coils, the tip is the emitter which the aether casted through. The handle has memory chips that stored runic spells, which the caster recalled through a neuro-link), and thaumaturgy (medicine involving magic).

Dark magic and light magic do not truly exist to the extent, it's mainly involve ideology, how magic should be used, and what is considered to be good or not. it could be malleable. Some said that thaumaturgy is considered light magic while necromancy is dark magic. However, necromancy involves biourgy, especially thaumaturgy, which is considered light magic.

Resurrection (which is considered necromancy) is possible, either through magic or science. Though it require conditions (how high their aether levels are, how long were they dead, is the body still intact, were they cremated, how radioactive is the body).

Also, if Star wishes to destroy magic, it will cause the universe to implode (oof). Magic is aether, and aether is the binding agent of the five fundamental forces of nature. Without it, it will cause matter to break away, weakening gravitational force. Stars will stop fusing, and all the elements will be gone. Living beings will be dead instantly, though, so that's good.

There is a type of magic called Fael magic. Some spells like the killing curse-like spell (which is just highly intense and focus gamma-ray. Like, not only does it kill the victim, but it severed the soul from the body violently. So not only can't they be rez, but their body is corrupted, and their soul cannot be seance. Some believe their soul is actually destroyed, too), a necromancy spell that required a corpse to be killed by a KC, a torture-like curse that doesn't torture the body but the soul. The reason why is called Fael magic, other than how cruel the spells are, is due to how it affects the castors. This is because they're self-inducing gamma-ray into themselves every time they cast a fael spell. Yes, Fael magic cause radiation poisoning. Not even the Addams will even tolerate this kind of magic (not self-inducing gamma-ray part. They think it healthy, being good for the soul and all).

Manse of Addams

They are still weird even by Ostrace stranded, and while anybody still trying to adjust living in a hero/magical/alien(?)/demon world and saying, "I hate living in interesting times!", an Addams will only say,"Ah! What an amazing time we are living in!"

Like how they are in canon, they are far more acceptable to all people, no matter their species, quirk-status, or who they love. While interspecies are barely tolerated in a lot of places, even if they are very humanoid, the Addams will happily welcome them into the family. While Tsuyu faces discrimination and shit for having a frog mother, Wednesday will happily and proudly say, "Ah, yes, my uncle is courting a lovely Weftoad (male toad)." They also have almost every type of species in their blood: Mewmans, Witch-Kinds, Demon-Kinds, Lycans, Penanggals, Kitsunes, Amphibians, Vampire, etc. The things they don't have, if not rarely, are quirks, and that only because their magical side keep impeding it (though they could marry or adopt in the family).

There is also a Witch clan in the family like the Frump. Though they don't accept men in their ranks, they do keep in contact with them, and some have married men (like Morticia), which is very unusual with Witches.

Wednesday, whose full name is Wednesday Friday Frump-Guzman From Manse of Addams, is also a Kalifornana (Gomez is one), though she isn't a Califinitan.

Uh, what else is there. Enid is transfem in this one. Ironically, even though she born in California, she isn't a Kalifornana since the city she was born and raise in, Redien, isn't considered part of what's called Kalifornan Border (an ethnicity border). So, this cause Enid to have somewhat of an identity crisis, along with her not wolfing out. While Nevermore Academy (twice as big and larger student body) is meant for Ostrace and magi, they do now have a pro-hero program so their could be more Ostrace heros. Gonna find a reason why Wednesday will join the hero program.

Masterlist

It started when Miles turned thirteen.

That night, he’d gone to bed and woken up around one or so, hot and sweaty and feeling sick. He’d rolled over in bed, trying to find a cool, dry spot on his bed, and growled in irritation when he couldn’t. The monos he had on his bed weren’t helping the situation at all, either, but he couldn’t just knock them off; Spurs and Rockets had been his absolute favorite movie of all time, and the idea of accidentally knocking off one of his toys or giving one of them away made him feel bad (sort of like he was separating them and they would never see each other again if he did; not only that, but what if they hated him because of it and started hiding from him whenever he wanted to play? It was very dramatic, and not something he’d grown out of just yet, even though he knew better).

Either way, he had been surrounded by them until his thrashing knocked several of them off the bed and onto the floor. Miles had felt himself zero in on those few that had fallen, and suddenly he wasn’t just irritated anymore; he was furious, a bright, red hot thing growing in his chest and in his throat.

He’d darted down without getting off the bed, yanking them up and behind him easily, and his parents found him like that several hours later: curled up over his toys, guarding them in his sleep.

Miles feels…kinda like that right now, swinging over New York with Hobie at his side. Something feral and protective growing in him, making him keep heading towards where the Spot was doing his thing while simultaneously trying to keep in front of Hobie, who shouldn’t be following after him because it’s dangerous, he needs to stay safe, Miles should protect, protect protectprotectprotectprotectprote —

“Oi!” Hobie shouted after him, keeping pace with him easily as they landed on the roof. Miles whipped to him, eyes wide under his mask, and Hobie put his hands up in peace. The soothing scent was muffled slightly by the Spider-Man outfits they were wearing, especially since Miles’s covered his nose, but it worked enough to clear Miles’s head. Slightly. “What’s happening, you good?”

“I don’t know, I don’t — ” Miles rubbed the back of his head, senses going haywire. He was focusing on everything and nothing all at once, smells muffled through his mask but sharper than usual, vision going in and out. “I can’t — my dad, he’s in danger, my — but I don’t — ”

“Ok, ok,” Hobie said softly, just as a portal opened up behind him. Miles was too far gone to really notice what it looked like; he acted on instinct instead, slamming into Hobie and knocking him down to hover protectively over him, the way Hobie had done when they were facing Miguel just a little while ago. Hobie let out a shout of surprise, though he didn’t move afterwards, and Miles felt himself glaring at the assortment of Spiders that had made their way through — Gwen and Peter B, Noir and Ham, Peni and Margo.

There was conflict there — another alpha, one who was close to the omega underneath him, a couple of betas with their hands stretched out placatingly, a couple of non-designated people doing the same. Miles was confused, disgruntled and irritated, and still feeling like something was missing from him. There was a wild feeling growing in his chest, making him lose focus on what was happening around him. The overlapping voices and sounds around him weren’t helping, drawing out more and more anger until —

The sound of crashing, loud and echoing, made him swivel around to see behind him. New York was falling to pieces, and suddenly the overlapping voices were quieted by the sounds of distant screams.

Miles didn’t think, just grabbed hold of the body beneath him and dragged it along with him as he made his way towards the explosions. There was a shout as he did so, but any call back went unheard; nevertheless, Mikes could sense the crew behind him, the others following his lead as they all made their way forward.

Where they landed was unfamiliar to Miles, who would’ve sworn he knew every inch and twist of New York before this. It was black and white, looking more like a child’s drawing of New York than the actual New York, and in the middle of it —

Spot stood there, looking around in apparent fascination and muttering something to himself that Miles couldn’t hear from where they were in the roof. He was spinning slowly in place, taking in every lack of detail around him, and Miles didn’t wait for anything.

He lunged forward off the building, dropping down so quickly that he managed to slam into Spot while his back was turned. The man let out a shout of surprise, and they both went straight into the ground. For a moment, Miles felt his head clear; he gasped in terror, genuinely concerned for a moment that he’d killed the man with the amount of force he’d hit him with, but then the Spot was throwing his head back with enough force to crack Miles right in the nose, and forced Miles off of him while he dealt with the blood that soaked the bottom of his mask.

Hobie landed next to him, followed by Gwen and Pavitr, then Ham and Noir. Margo landed in place beside them as well, all of them ready to back Miles up.

“Woooow,” the Spot whistled as he took them all in, “looks like the team got an upgrade!”

“Just surrender peacefully, and no one has to get hurt.” Pavitr called out, his voice serious. The Spot laughed, loud and clear, and cracked his neck.

“Well, since it is going to be a nine on one fight,” he drawled out, “that’s about as fair as I can make it.” He drew back into a fighting stance, “I told you, Spider-Man — you took everything from me. Now, it’s your turn.”

Listen, the one thing I will say about the Disney Show: Primos is damn, I'm tired..

Mostly because on one hand: this show technically does not reflect my reality, or any southamerican reality. This was a show made by and for Latino-north americans (Latino gringo if you wanna be more explicit). The no sabo kids deserve to have their mixed culture represented on tv, because I can't imagine what is like to be an inmigrant child that is constantly told that they are not accepted in any of their cultural heritages. This should not be my place to speak.

(Also without mentioning that latinoamerica also has racist roots, I have already seen redesigns making the protagonist light-skinned saying she is now argentinian. Just tell me you envy my tanned sweet skin you bastarda conchesumare-)

But on the other hand: it kinda is my place to speak? Because even if this show tries to only show a mexican-american culture, sadly, at the eyes of the white public, there is no difference. They will probably assume that yeah, this is a southamerican reality, that shows many of the estereotypes/shared realities that latino people have been fighting against (because yeah, my family grew up in a single household for a long time, and I love my family, but that wasn't healthy, we are much better now living in our own spaces). Especially because when you label a show as a "latino show", you generalize the culture, and we are the ones who have to educate time and time again that no, we are not a single culture, We share the palo encebado and a lot of recipes, but we are not a mono-culture.

Also a lot of the crew has been outright mean? Not very receptive of the simple criticism of "es oigan primos, no oye primos" and calling spanish a colonizer language? Which, yeah, it is, but hear yourself for a moment and tell me, what language are you speaking?

It feels patronizing, it might be that weird internalized envy every latino feels when someone is out of this region and fullfilling that "american dream" we were fed up everytime we were kids. And know seeing our cultures distorted on a big tv channel is breaking our pride.

But I don't blame the full crew, they grew up in that distorted reality of what it means to be latino, to be rejected by both sides and growing up without a clear identity.

Yet, it still feels wrong to feel good about this show, but it feels wrong to try to hate it? Is this what No Sabo people feel all the time? It's weird

I guess all I'm going to say: this could've been avoided if they hired hispanic-speaking people into the crew.

Not the prison break I was expecting, but it's the best prison break I've ever seen XD

They finally found him!! Or well at least where he is. And damn Frederick :( Someone give him therapy fr. He really needs one. I'm so glad the LeoMieCake found him on time because.. imagine what he would've done if they hadn't found him.. You know, isolation can really do some stuffs to you, especially if you've gone through some trauma/experience that can cause your emotions to be unstable. That's why I've been so worried about Frederick since it was revealed he was imprisoned in the that hole by Leland.

LAVERNE 😭 I know she's been pretty hated since the punishment episode, but damn gotta thank her right now. You know, I've been curious about the architecture of the Plaid Kingdom because I was thinking "That's a hole.. but it has a holey roof..??? Where the heck is this dungeon located in exactly?" And now I got my answer. Imagine being the maid/butler just cleaning around like "that hole over there? Yeah that's normal it's for flood"

Isolde :( I can heavily relate with running away from problems and just sitting back. And man I'm so happy Isolde talked to Frederick too and even apologized for using him to ruin Leland's plan. Gosh damn this whole family is in such a bad state just because Leland is so petty. I will never get over that. Also aw man too bad Frederick didn't listen to Isolde :') he could've learn so much.. but that's just him, haha. That one determination that you got out of nowhere causing you to block everything out, I feel that.

i made these hover-vehicles IRL building with my little Sister and her LEGO. I don't like LEGO friends because i hate how minidolls look like polly pockets, but i think the more patel colours of those sets are really pleasant

there's a german Youtuber called "Coldmirror". she was one of the first youtubers in germany and she made some pretty funny animations, including StarStarSpace, a kind of parody of Star Trek, Star Wars and some other sci-fi stuff.

Adam Savage made a Rickshaw to be pulled by boston dynamics' Spot. I saw that build, remembered the minifigure scale Spot i built in the year before and added his rickshaw. i made two versions. the simpler one i made after seeing the teaser on twitter and the more complex one i made after watching the build-video.

i posted the simpler version on reddit, which got the attention of Adam savage's team and later of adam savage. they contacted me and i mailed them the instructions of the simpler version, felt bad for the inaccuracies of the build, built the more complex version and also mailed them its instructions.

Adam later build the simpler version on a stream that i sadly missed, but i was really happy that a maker i admire liked my MoC.

Fanart for TomSka and Friends' CONTENT table. i still kinda like it, even though i thought it would be hilarious to make their legs skin-coloured.

this was actually featured in the "trial by trolley" video they made in feburary 2020.

Newelementary did a contest featuring the then new Green Lantern Part from the first series the DC collectible minifigures.

i built these two ships with the part as engine details, the W45-P Stinger and the 0G-L13 Leapfrog. i submitted them both and for some reason the people from Newelementary switched up the names of the works.

anyway, i did not win.

just a digital version of the Old Factory i posted back in week 2.

i tried imitating some more logo-like stuff.

i don't think arstotzkan Flag turned out really good, but i really like the way the Blood Machines Title looks.

speaking of Blood Machines, i had recently watched this really cool movie and had to make some sort of MoC inspired by the really cool ship designs found in that movie. i first tried to make something more Minifigure scale, got overwhelmed, and just made the mIcro scale

the Star Wars Helmet series also started that year. i rebuild the Boba Fett helemt and modified it it to represent Jango Fett and the Mandalorians found in the Mandalorian battle pack that also came out that year.

i don't really remember why, but i tried remaking set 7310 Mono-jet from Life on Mars as a more modern set. i made a colour-accurate version and a version that actually can be built IRL.

i had the fun idea to remake some Lego city-style Vehicles as cyberpunk-y hovercars. i tried making some different styles of 0-G-generators/repulsor lifts to make the vehicles feel like they've been built by different manufacturers.

also, Stud.io had a weird bug/feature where you had a coloured gradiend as a background if you put a part on the ground that is out of frame and have the rest of the build "hover" over the ground.

another Contest, this time for Lego Ideas. they had a Star Wars x Christmas thing, so i had the (kind of uncreative) idea to make a gingerbread TIE fighter, based off the Imperial TIE fighter set from 2018 and the little polybag from the same year.

this also did not win.

the Dalek Emperor from NewWho. this was basically the first MoC i ever made on a PC, back when LDD still worked on my laptop.

i had to tweak the colours a lot when i rendered this one, because the way they were represented in LDD was very different to the way they look in stud.io or even real life.

i struggled quite a bit with redoing this one in stud.io because it handles flexible a lot different than LDD. that is also one of the reasons why i never finished this MoC.

i think i'll have to split this year again, but hopefully only in two parts. i dislike that 30 image limit for tumblr Posts.

My bachelor's thesis was about polyamory representation in media and just overall - it's history, how people are seeing it, how they react to it, how this kind of relationships works. Like, idk it's just interesting to me. Also, poly is kinda part of lgbt+ community, but it isn't exactly popular in media or and lgbt doesn't really talk about it as much as about trans or other orientations. Lately, people has taken an interest in polyamory, and not only in a sexual way but also as a romantic, beautiful relationship, and I guess im just part of this group.

and representation in media? Oh lord, don't let me start on that. There's like one or two good representation in movies/shows, while others are just toxic and all are doing are harden negative stereotypes.

Also, ive been a shipper since i was a little kid. Idk men, I just like idea of people loving each other. Movies and tv shows in 20's were all about love triangles, and honestly why? I mean, if you both love one person, and that person can't seem to chose because she also loves both of you, then... don't you see a solution? I mean, obviously, it isn't that easy in real life, but in a movies? Why not just let them love each other without drama.

Oh yes, another thing: fandom dramas. I hate those, truly. Ive been in many fandoms before, and in most of them there is that discourse 'ship A vs ship B" usually having "G+K or G+N" and people are literally throwing insults and kys at each other just because they can't accept that other people like different dynamics than them. That's stupid all in itself, but welp.. I guess polyamory is some kind of way of remis? I mean, in poly you can ship both ships without argument. They can be in open relationship or close, they can be triad or just one person loving two others. Like, in a fictional world, it's the best solution, isn't it? It's us who create characters' thoughts, dynamic, emotions... We *can* make it work!

I hate what the time loop theory does to Mono’s story, it feels incredible constrictive to his character.

Instead of him being a child with a past, character development and motivations we can interpret, that theory kinda kills it.

Now Mono’s life has always been a loop, he doesn’t have a past and all his actions revolve and are driven around this hypothetical loop. And this makes his character seem so boring when he is a very interesting character we could talk and analyze more like we do with Six

And like you said the way some try to shoehorn Six’s story into this (trying to make her also be in a loop) when her narrative doesn’t fit with her character at all.

Mono’s story doesn’t need to be a time loop. It makes much more sense that Mono is a successor to the thin man and the ending is about him finally taking/accepting that role.

I know our first reaction is to think is a loop but what if it isn’t a loop? What if is a cycle? Even the developers used that word to describe the story:

“We’ve got a kid, we’ve got a terrible world […] You think about the impact of this endless cycle of the world who is imposed upon this kids and then this kids grow old and they are obviously affected by that and they become part of the problem, they all become part of this illusion.

They have officially talked about this and described the situation as a cycle where the kids grow up to become part of the problem, which I interpret as them repeating the same mistakes and imposing the same terrible attitudes/actions they once suffered as kids to the next generation now that they are adults.

Maybe it was never a loop, but rather a cycle. Mono simply grew up and became another adult in that terrible world.

The closest comparison I can think of is to the short “pour 585” by Patrick Smith.

It has very similar theme and story beats where the beginning and ending that are almost exactly the same (just like in Ln2).

all three and a half games deal with cycles and trying to break them in different ways and the cost and consequence of it all, which i can get into in a minute

i think the big reason that the time loop became a prevalent theory, so much as to largely be considered "canon" by the wider fanbase, is that its a neat explanation for what happens. it becomes convoluted and confusing, like you said anon, but it becomes neat, which is attractive to people.

the thing about theories is that they're hard to disprove, especially in a game like little nightmares where nothing is concrete. but it is very unlikely that a literal timeloop is what the creators intended. it is a cycle, an inheritance. the hat "suits" mono, it hasn't always been his. the broadcaster is a role, a job, a calling. mono's monster form is different from the thin man's. they are not the same person, they simply fill the same role

mono was unable to break out of the cycle, both because of his actions, his inaction. his friendship with six was his salvation and his downfall. he was destined, sure, but destiny is merely a call we can answer or ignore. he answered, because despite the consequences, he wanted to save his friend

and he got just that. he saved six
