“Wait, so, Captain Marvel is like, three?” 

Said hero pauses as he nearly passes by a cracked door, creeping slightly closer despite it being more than a little rude to eavesdrop. All of the gods were insistent, which he could say no to, but Billy was giving him the equivalent of puppy eyes, which they all knew he was weak to. 

He? They? Marvel was technically an amalgamation of the past champions, currently split between six beings, though nowhere near equally. Billy was and would be the chosen champion- pure of heart to be able to resist the Gods’ bullshit- but he had chosen a team himself, which honestly Marvel approved. 

“What the fuck do you mean by that, Hal?” 

He didn’t move from the corner, head tilting slightly at Green Lantern’s and Green Arrow’s words. Billy, not physically there, not really, wiggled down from his shoulder, passing through the wall like a ghost invisible to all but him. 

Well, him and the Gods, but Mercury’s words were muffled, nearly silenced by Solomon at the moment, so he was probably attempting to wax poetic about Flash again in a way that little ears shouldn’t hear. 

“I mean, Marvel mentioned he was created three years ago, right?” 

Ah. Marvel had meant that the newest Champion had been chosen, but well, he supposed that the team didn’t have all the information, as Solomon pointed out. And he was pretty sure that Billy was mostly in control at that point- it could get confusing with the hive-mind but not-hive-mind. It was hard to explain to those not apart of it. 

But they had to go now, Fawcett called, and it wasn’t like Billy could leave it for long. Chances were nothing would come from this anyway.

The Khan’s are just PHENOMENAL. They’re so warm and vibrant and hysterical in all the best ways. The MCU is absent/shitty/dead/evil-parent-and-complicated-family central, theres too much familial feuding at times, whether that family is blood or adopted or found, so I am LIVING for and LOVING how the Khan’s are just so normal and ordinary and wonderful. It’s no wonder Kamala has such a can-do, confident, positive attitude. It’s no wonder she’s such a dreamer and proudly herself and so damn funny when she’s surrounded by so much love and encouragement. Kamala Khan and the fam need to be in more Marvel movies, their dynamic is just joyous and healing and I will NOT tolerate another Aunt May incident. I WILL NOT. I am slowly developing headcanons of all the knights pairing off and having kids in unconventional ways. I already made a post about Merlin using magic to turn himself into a woman and getting pregnant that way with Arthur's children. Now I've come up with an idea of one of Gwaine's old one-night stands coming back to bite him after he and Leon get together.

Here's how it goes: Gwaine unknowingly got a girl pregnant during his travels and due to a combination of not knowing where he went and not really wanting him involved, she didn't tell him. However, she got sick and died leaving her now toddler (who I'll call Bonnie) in the care of her aged parents who can't realistically take care of a small child. Having heard stories of what's become of Gwaine since his night with this woman, her father travels to Camelot with Bonnie and demands to see Sir Gwaine. He tells Gwaine the child is his daughter and now that her mother is dead it's his responsibility to make sure she's taken care of since he has the means to do so. Take her in himself or ensure she's with a family who can provide for her it doesn't matter, just make sure she'll be okay. Gwaine isn't sure what to do, he's worried he wouldn't be a good father and his relationship with Leon is still fairly new, but he doesn't like the idea of abandoning his daughter now that he knows she exists. He gets help from Merlin and Gwen in actually taking care of Bonnie since he has no idea how. Having them there gives him a chance to calm down and bond with his daughter without completely freaking out. He's still unsure what he wants to do long-term or how this is going to effect his relationship with Leon, he didn't sign up for a kid when they got together after all. Gwen encourages him to talk to Leon about it, pointing out that avoiding him and keeping something this big from him is going to do more damage than Bonnie's existence will. Gwaine does tell Leon about Bonnie and he takes the news a lot better than Gwaine was expecting. Leon explains that he likes kids and always wanted to be a parent but gave up on the idea after he fell for Gwaine thinking they could never have any. Gwaine expresses his worry about not being a good parent and Leon reassures him that while he likes the idea of kids he doesn't want to force Gwaine into it. He'll support whatever decision Gwaine makes when it comes to Bonnie and whatever way they go they'll figure it out together. Knowing that Leon will be with him either way is a massive comfort and Gwaine asks if Leon wants to meet Bonnie. Leon and Bonnie take to each other right away and seeing them together solidifies the decision for Gwaine. They raise her together and she grows up being a mischievous terror around the castle who gets away with it by hiding behind a polite smile and accommodating demeanor.

I miss being obsessed with the cod so here are my favorite things about their crunchy dreams school outfits

I really love these designs in general cuz they all look super cute and cozy, I'd love to see a highschool style spinoff with them even tho none of these characters are even highschool age anymore/yet

I started yet another new WIP instead of continuing the prior one (entropy x senadina) because i wanted to focus on just one figure, and i also really really really really really really really really really really like vita ^.^

I decided to go all-in on a new process for sketching (layering in values before drawing in detail) and honestly? It ROCKS. I can convey so much about the character’s appearance just by shadow and a few key lines, and in a fraction of the time it’d take if i drew out much of the detail first then tried to add value

It took just a bit over half an hour to get this much progress on the vita sketch, vs. the two hours of working on the Entropy + Sena sketches with not much more progress

It’d be even better if i used line more carefully in the start to better hint at lighting before blocking in major values, but its still a good start lol

oh my stars and moon, i absolutely LOVE the colors!! also this is perfect, i feel like talking about cat-sized Legacy tonight

small Foul Legacy who trots around the house at your heels, either chirping to be picked up or following you just for the sake of it. no matter where you go, he's only a few steps behind, perking up and fluttering his little wings when you turn to face him. more often than not he'll attempt to climb onto your lap the MOMENT you sit down, and if not he'll perch somewhere nearby, always just a little higher than you are. sometimes you'll fashion a little nest of blankets and pillows on the couch, and Legacy happily crawls inside and curls up, purring all the while. this is right after he knocked all of your glasses off the counter and stared smugly as you lunged to grab them before they broke, which has happened before and absolutely will happen again

although cats have a reputation for being silent, you can ALWAYS hear Foul Legacy approach. his claws make a little clicking sound as he hurries over the floor, and on carpet they turn into light, cheerful little thumps. if you're not sitting down he actually prefers to be draped over your shoulder, somewhere he can easily nuzzle against your cheek and press his face to yours. that, or tucked away in your work bag, much to your chagrin. he's good at hiding in it, too. several times you've checked what seems like every inch of the pack, only to feel something delicately hop onto your lap the moment you sit down at your desk. Legacy is extremely satisfied with his fiendish little plots, rumbling away as you let out a long-suffering sigh and begin to pet him. he's here and not going home until tonight, so might as well!

honestly, making beisht an absolute fucking menace is the best decision i made for her

we only get given glimpses of her anger, her resentment, because she's portrayed as an antagonist if not a villain - but she wasn't always, and the thought of her being this incredibly playful, mischievous little shit just fills me with joy

her terrorising those she cares about because she cares about them, and mischief is her love language, is just so delightful

Can’t believe no one on this hellsite is talking about the best character in Cattails: Wildwood Story. I might be biased, seeing as I was also an extremely weird little kid, but Jack is wonderful and I wish people showed them more love (I straight up started a new file from scratch just so they could be born… sorry Krampy 😅)
