Annual Writing Self-Evaluation

thanks to @allwaswell16 for tagging me! i enjoyed reading your answers a lot! 1. List of works published this year:

2. Work you are most proud of (and why): i’m proud of all of them for different reasons, this is very hard to choose. i’m going to say Harmony bc it was the first time i made a collab with an artist.

3. Work you are least proud of (and why): not necessarily a work but i’m not proud that i couldn’t meet my writing goals set for this year (writing a fic longer than 20k words, finishing a wip i’ve had for three years).

4. A favorite excerpt of your writing: from fuck around, find out

“Everything looks lovely but please, call me Louis. What was your inspiration for the menu, Chef Styles?” Louis asks, beaming. Harry lets out a laugh, refocusing his gaze to the dining area. “I’ll call you Louis if you call me Harry, can we agree on that?” Once he gets a nod of confirmation, he continues. “When Oli mentioned you wanted to retribute to the people working for the movie, and that you wanted it to feel personal, it immediately made me think of the time I arrived in New York. I was a youngster, with no family in the city and only a promise of a job that I wasn’t sure I was talented enough to fulfill,” Harry tells, remembering the nerve-wracking feeling of accepting the sous chef position when he was so young and with not much expertise. “Uh, an old lady by the name of Vittoria welcomed me to her house. She was like a second mother to me, sharing with me not only her home but her culture as well. She came to the States with her parents when she was just a toddler but grew up surrounded by the Italian community. We used to have gatherings every weekend with all her family—and I mean all the family, children, grandchildren, neighbors…I learned a lot from her, from all of them. And I used that as an inspiration for today. You’ll see three courses of my version of some of the food I had the pleasure to share with Vittoria and her family. Just wait until you try the tiramisù…it’s to die for,” he ends with a sigh. When he looks back at Louis, he notices something on his face. Fondness, maybe?

5. Share or describe a favorite review you received: i love getting comments, and there are so many that i keep in my heart that it’s hard to choose. i love especially the ones under my rare pair fics bc it’s when ppl usually tell me that they don’t read rare pairs but they gave it a chance bc of me. it means more than words can express when someone trusts you like that.

6. A time when writing was really, really hard: when i was ill around july and i kept changing and changing my blff prompt. i was very close to drop out bc i thought i wouldn’t make it. fortunately i did and i finished my second fic on time.

7. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you: writing Pedro Pascal surprised me a lot lol like i’ve obviously read Louis/Pedro fics before but i had never entertained the idea of writing one myself and it was a nice surprise. also, writing Louis/OMC wasn’t on my plans either but i welcomed it.

8. How did you grow as a writer this year: i personally don’t see any growth.

9. How do you hope to grow next year: i just hope to finish the ideas that i have. i don’t expect for them to be masterpieces, i just need them to be finished.

10. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc): definitely my friends, the ones that read pairings or tropes they don’t like only bc it’s me writing them, the ones that hype my fics even if they don’t know if the story is good yet, the ones that offer their help and their advice to help me improve.

12. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers: joining fic fests is not only an opportunity for you to shine, it’s a chance to build community so pls support works from the other authors in the fest, that’s what a fest is about.

also, hide your stats from ao3. there’s a lot of freedom in not knowing if your fic has hits and kudos or if it doesn’t.

13. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: YES! i’m only working on two projects and i’m so excited abt them. the first one it’s a collab between me and @lemelous so expect a lot of gorgeous art, and the second one is a Louis/SebStan wip i couldn’t finish this year.

LOL SO.... june was a very very wild month for me (mostly in a good way!) but yeah. holy shit.

soooo if you’ve been following my updates all year you probably know i have been applying to mentorship after mentorship for months and have not gotten any. well!! firstly around june 10th i got multiple full manuscript requests from a mentorship i applied to called queeryfest. i was very excited to receive these requests of course but also panicked a bit bc at that point i was not really happy with the state of my manuscript. i had a mostly-finished new ending that i thought would improve it a lot, but the rest of the book was extremely long and the new end would add a significant chunk to the word count.

soooo i decided to take it upon myself to write the rest of the new end and edit like 20k? 30k?? words out of my book in like, 4 days. this was a very exhausting and stressful experience that i would not recommend to anyone and hope to never relive again LOL however, it did push me to finally finish writing the better ending and cut a lot of unnecessary stuff out of my ms. also somewhere in the middle of all this i also applied to the queerkidlit mentorship. woo!!

and uh long story short.... by some miracle all that work paid off bc i was not offered one but TWO mentorships on the last day of june (happy pride month to me, amiright??) and it happened to work out nicely where my queerkidlit mentor is willing to wait a few months to do our mentorship in the fall while i complete my queeryfest mentorship. in other words i will be doing two mentorships back to back which should hopefully really help me whip my manuscript into shape 😤 for the time being i’m in a bit of a writing limbo... my queeryfest mentors will be giving me an edit letter sometime within the next ~2 weeks so depending on what they say, i’ll probably end up having to dedicate the last half of this month and most of august/september doing book revisions. but!! until then i’m putting my book aside and focusing on fic for a bit (for the most part).

i am very nearly done writing sylvix dreamscape fic! like legitimately....i am writing the last scene before the epilogue right now, so i’m hoping to finish that very soon (although....i will miss it...sniffles). then ofc i will still have to edit chapters 8-10 which will probably...take me a while lolll but hopefully i can get those edited/posted over the next couple months.

i also have that renga fic that i finished like a year ago that i still have not edited/posted so uhhh i keep telling myself i will edit that but....we shall see akdfjdk

oh and i also started writing a twiyor fic but it’s. not the one i outlined. in fact not totally sure i will end up posting it cuz it’s uh yeah *runs away* buuut for now i’m just writing it for fun and we’ll see what happens ;) otherwise uhhh yeah gonna be aiming to write around 30k for camp nano and that’s gonna be a combo of rewriting/writing scenes for my ya sci-fi book, outlining/zero drafting my (maybe?) next book, and fic writing. so yahoo!!

this was a really long update.... everything happens so much. but truly i am super excited and looking forward to the next few months!!!

An Author and Their Beta Reader

(Tips from a fic writer who's been at it for over 20 years)

A while ago, I posted this handy guide on offering constructive criticism to fic writers when you don't already have a critique/beta reading relationship. I recommend checking that out first, because that's the situation the average reader is most likely to find themselves in.

Read it? Cool, let's go.

So, let's say an author HAS approached you or put out a call for anyone willing to beta read. Here's just a few tips based on my own experience both as a beta reader and a writer, maybe they'll be helpful for someone else.

First! Take a page from the kink community and negotiate first to manage expectations:

Authors, be clear about what you want your beta reader to help you with. It might be: SPAG (spelling, punctuation, and grammar) only; verb tense/POV (point of view) consistency; plot coherence/flow; word choice/tempo; characterization; or overall impressions

Beta readers, be honest if there's something your author asked for that you aren't confident enough to help with. Take characterization, for instance. I have specific friends I ask for help with certain characters (we all have our faves and characters we write with more finesse than others). Or maybe you're someone who can't remember how to punctuate dialogue; be upfront with your author about that.

Agree on logistics: Google Docs is a great app for this, because the author can share a file with the beta reader so that they can only comment and suggest changes (it's like using track changes in Word, which is amazing btw, 10/10 recommend this).

Keeping with the sex analogy (lol sorry, I'm procrastinating writing two separate smut scenes, it's on the brain), remember that consent can be withdrawn at any time! Either of you can stop at any point. Do yourselves a favor though and don't just ghost the other. Sometimes things come up and beta readers run out of time. Sometimes you trip over a squick and can't continue comfortably. That's okay! Just say so.

Speaking of which, authors, be upfront about the content and potential squicks and triggers in your piece. Beta readers, if there's something you don't want to read, say so. (Case in point, I won't beta read most mpreg and omegaverse is not my jam. I'll beta read non-con as long as I know it's there beforehand.) Word count too. Don't tell your beta it's 20k and then send them 65k. That's a major lift for a beta reader.

Take the time to make your relationship as productive and friendly as possible:

Beta readers, be kind. Now is not the time to insult the author's work, this is a vulnerable part of the writing process. It's also not enough to just say, "This doesn't work." Offer suggestions to make it work if you can, give an example, ask a question, something actionable (that's the constructive part).

Authors, be kind! Your beta reader is trying to help you, they're doing you a favor. If there is something you don't want your beta reader to even touch, tell them before you even share the document.

Similarly, authors, remember that YOU get the final say in everything. You are not required to accept all (or any!) of your beta reader's suggestions. Go with your gut, tell YOUR story.

Beta readers, remember that the author gets the final say in everything. They aren't required to accept all of your suggestions.

Trust me on this: if you both go into this with that in mind and agree this is about the words, not the people, it's easier not to take things personally.

When in doubt, ask.

Beta readers, be honest about your availability. I recently beta read for a good friend. I said it would take me a few days, but it took a few months. Real life was a particular bitch and my friend was super understanding, but I still felt crappy for it. If your availability changes, say so, especially if your author is on a deadline, like a bang or other scheduled event.

Always err on the side of over-communication.

Most importantly, have fun! There's something really special about a solid writer/beta relationship. I have a few friends I trust to help push me to grow as a writer, and that's where the magic happens.

hi love! thx so much for ur patience, sorry i wasn’t on all day yesterday to answer u! i’m going to walk u thru everything i can remember about each concert, so i’m putting it under a break bc it gets long!

bts love yourself in LA 2018: A M E S S! this was my first bts concert and also my first big concert outside of my own city (vancouver) so idk if staples centre was just incredibly disorganized or if this was the normal concert experience LOL and sorry if i come off as judgy but ngl it was was a very unpleasant up to the point of the actual show bc a lot of the fans (plus their parents??!!!) were so hostile LMAO

my friend and i had GA floor tickets. a lot of ppl who had GA camped outside the venue for days straight leading up to the concert, and even tho the venue said they didn’t allow camping and wouldn’t hold the campers’ place in line, they went back on their word and did anyway (which in retrospect i don’t blame them bc i think the campers would’ve started an all out war if the venue actually followed thru on that rule). so early morning on the day of (7-8am) the venue staff numbered the campers’ hands with sharpies so that it would count as their position in line, but when everyone lined up to get their wristbands for GA, not everyone in that lineup had camped so a lot (not all) of the campers got rly aggressive and wanted to check everyone’s hands. if they found someone without a number they’d bully that person to leave the lineup and go to the end. a lot of those aggressors were like young teenagers and their parents either came to keep them company as they lined up or they were attending the concerts themselves, and some of those parents would assist their child in harassing other ppl and then played victim when the news crew came around which was w i l d to me. but i think that behaviour was eventually curbed bc a lot of other ppl in line like spoke back and stood up against their hostility. oh also! while in this lineup, several black range rovers in a row drove past us and into the venue, so we were pretty sure the boys were in those cars.

anyway, that lineup was to get into a section of venue to get official wristbands that would hold ur position in line for GA later at the concert. this took a few hours. but at the same time (a little later in the morning ~10-11am) the lineup for merch opened up elsewhere a the venue and if i remember correctly, things sold out rly quick. i luckily had other friends attending the concert, but they had seated tickets so didn’t have to line up for GA wristbands like me, so they were able to line up and get merch for us. once GA ppl got their wristbands, we were free to go and were to return to the venue 1-2 hrs before the concert start, unless u won soundcheck then you’d be let in sometime in the afternoon to see the boys. u were also able to stick around and line up for the photobooth but we were exhausted from everything so we left.

it was a pleasant experience after that. we went home and took a nap and hydrated and got ready for the concert LOL in the evening when GA ppl came back to line up for the show, our wristbands were numbered as our position in line so we ordered ourselves with the help of the staff and waited in line outside the venue for a couple hrs. we weren’t allowed to bring in anything more than a small bag. everyone around us was nice, a lot of ppl were handing out free merch that they made! then we were let in one at a time with a security check at the door, and after that we’d rush into the arena to secure a good view. i was around #~250 and still i stood like 2nd row from the extended stage. it was an amazing view when the boys were on the extended stage, bc they were a couple arms length away and we were in the splash zone when yoongi tossed his water bottle around during tear. i also remember jimin being super interactive and flirty with the fans around the extended stage too. but i will say it’s impossible to see anything when they’re on the mainstage (esp when ur short like me), so i was watching them from the screens a lot. i think joon took someone’s phone and recorded himself on with it too! again, everyone around us were super nice and caring, telling ppl not to push each other and comforting each other as we sobbed throughout. a tall girl standing in front of me asked me if i could see and would try to tilt her shoulders in a way that open up my view which was v sweet but i told her dw just enjoy urself!

ofc the boys were amazing - as amazing as u would expect and them some! they sounded so amazing live that i literally had to ask myself several times during the concert if they were lipsyncing. they were incredibly fun, great onstage energy, and very interactive! sososo much prettier in real life too.

bts speak yourself in chicago 2019: this was undeniably a greater experience all around. this was the stadium tour, so floor seats were seated and numbered, which eliminated the whole terrible camping/lining up experience and everyone just had to come a little early to seat themselves before the show. also, merch sales were offered for 3 days: the day prior to day1 of the concert, day1 before the concert, and day2 before the concert. from my knowledge they didn’t sell out either so all around it felt way more organized, which might’ve just been bc the capacity was going to be 3x greater (soldier field was ~60k and staples centre was ~20k) and they were prepared for that. there was also a photobooth but i think it was only open to certain ppl that won a ticket or smth idr :///

my friend and i didn’t get floor seats this time bc not only did they almost all sold out immediately, but we kind of wanted a view of everything unlike in LA. in LA even tho bts was right there when they were on the extended stage, we couldn’t see anything when they were on the mainstage. so this time we sat in the seated section near like the cat walk and ~10 rows up, and bc the stadium was so huuuge bts was still pretty small but at least i could see all their performances no matter which stage they were on. so, we got merch the day before which was an easy breezy and much quicker process, and got into the stadium ~1 hr before the concert. u were also only allowed to bring in a small transparent bag, but i just brought my phone, a credit card, and an ID in my pockets. also! before the concert, we saw who we thought was txt standing at the very top balcony of the stadium, which we later confirmed in a bangtan bomb/episode!

bc it was an open stadium and chicago had cooler weather around that time which was even chillier at night IT WAS SO COLD. it had been raining all day but thankfully it stopped before the concert started and the stage was cleared so the boys wouldn’t slip (and thank god bc i was so worried about that). joon even said smth along the lines of “hey guys it’s meant to be, it was raining all day until we got together 🥰” and i hmmmmmmmmmmmm :’(((((((( but during their performances i didn’t even notice the cold (even tho my hands and feet no longer felt attached to my body) bc they were so amazing and i was crying too hard!!!

i have to say even tho they had already set a pretty high bar for the energy i expected from them, they even exceeded it this time round. i think they were super excited and proud to do their first stadium tour :’) they had learned a lot of english to share with us during their introductions, between their songs, and in their goodbyes. their production was crazy as you might’ve seen in fancams: an all out set for dionysus, huge bouncy castles for anpanman, and jungkook was on a fucking zipline for euphoria LOL

it was an amazing unparalleled experience and i hope u get to experience it too some day anon! i hoped that helped and sorry it was so long and i probs told u way more than what u were looking for LMAO but lmk if u have any other questions i can answer!! ty!!!!

camp nanowrimo--july 2020 edition masterpost

it’s been a rough 2020 so far for everyone, and i am no exception. while i am aiming for the traditional 50k, i’ll be happy if i just get some words down in july. my plan is to draft only, except for the one-shot, which is for a challenge due near the end of the month. here are my projects:

libera nos a malo+ is my main project (unless it gets too dark for me to process in my current state of mind, in which case, lol, i’ll write something else).

the major players:

miranda rose: an american witch and a bounty hunter with questionable taste in men. as she tries to profit off the chaos of the second wizarding war, and navigate an increasingly inconvenient relationship with one severus snape, she’ll be pushing her limits in every way.

severus snape: an english wizard, also an ass. torn between two masters, and between his love for the living miranda and the dead lily, severus may have trouble coming out of this war alive.

remus lupin: brilliant and kind, and working hard to ruin his own life because of his self-loathing, he and miranda have a dangerous mission to gain the allegiance of those werewolves who haven’t fallen prey to greyback’s promises of dominance.

isahak lal: an orphan boy with a mysterious past and an even more mysterious future.

i’m aiming for at least 25k words on this story.

a more perfect life+ is an everyone lives!au fluff summer beach read that i started to save my sanity back in april. the dark lord is dead, harry has several younger siblings, severus and regulus are friends with the marauders (well, most of them) and miranda rose has just come to england for the first time on the trail of a graphorn...and more adventure.

the major players:

miranda rose: still an american witch, still a bounty hunter, not expecting to find love on english shores--but happy to roll with it when she does.

severus snape: still an english wizard, still kind of an ass, stumbling into love for the first time since his teenage years.

eileen snape: severus’s mother, struggling with ptsd.

regulus black: severus’s closest friend (besides lily), knows what it’s like to be on both sides of the war.

lily potter: a little pushy, but a total sweetheart.

james potter: a big hearted man child.

sirius black: see above.

remus lupin: the only marauder who ever grew up.

peter pettigrew: newly released from azkaban, hoping to restart his life.

i’m planning for 20k words on this fic, or to the end of the story, whichever comes first.

untitled one-shot: this is for a 5k au challenge. i’ll be writing a what-if from petunia evans dursley’s point of view. one afternoon, while vernon is away at work, and little harry and dudley are driving petunia bananas, severus snape and minerva mcgonagall come to her with a curious offer. one might almost call it a bargain with the devil.

the major players:

petunia evans dursley: a bitter housewife saddled with two unruly children. how much is she willing to risk to escape at least part of her prison?

minerva mcgonagall: a stately scottish witch who’s had quite enough of albus’s bs.

severus snape: he doesn’t like this. at all.

i’ll be aiming for 5k or less on this fic, as that is the challenge word limit.

Writing (And other) Commissions

Hello everyone! Although I normally don’t believe in commissions, I’ve decide to open them up for the time being so I can earn some money to go towards my Grad School GRE Exam (which is $250) and my Grad School applications (which can range in price from $100 to $200). If you don’t know (which I don’t think I’ve said lol) I’m going to Graduate school to get a Library Science and School Media certification so I can be a librarian or a school media teacher! But this costs a ton of money that I do not have so any money for my commissions will go into an account to help me pay off some of the expenses. I’m not able to hold a job and go to school at the same time as the stress and anxiety will just make me collapse in on itself and my job during the summer isn’t doing much to help with the other bills I have to pay for college.

I am also trying to earn money to go towards my trip to Vidcon in June 2020 to not only meet up with Claire for the first time and spend a great week with her for her birthday, but also go to California where I’ve never been. This is just the minor thing, my biggest things I’m freaking out about are above lol

So here are my prices!- All Price Are in USD

Oneshots: *Turn Around time of 1 day to 1 week, depending on word count*

These are fics that are posted all at once and often will be not as plot driven as a chaptered fic.

1- 999 Words (Also known as a Drabble): $2

1k words: $5 for every 1k until 5k (i.e 4k will be $20)

5k words: $20 starting rate and then $2 for every 1k past 5k to 10k (I.e 9k will be $28)

10k and above words: $30 starting rate, then $5 for every 5k past 10k (I.e 20k words is $45)

Chaptered Works: *Turn Around Time of 2-3 Months*

These are fics that will be 25-30k (or more!) with multiple installments/chapters.

Price is higher because chaptered fics take a lot more time than a one shot with the same amount of words. There is a lot more planning and preparation to them.

i can count the audience for this post on one hand. am i making it anyway? yes. anyway, have a compilation of all the assorted chinese fic i’ve been reading across both ao3 + lofter — if there’s enough interest, i can look into tl’ing some in the future. i’ll add more eventually when i remember / get time lmfao.

similar to the novelverse, where lu li knows chi zhen’s been sent to kill him from the start. takes a different spin on the events following case 5 as a result. a broody fic about lu li + chi zhen coming to trust each other. also, unofficially, a 5 + 1 fic of sorts — “five times chi zhen aimed his gun at lu li, without even firing once.” also, a very interesting casefic involving a religious commune, of sorts. pretty smooth reading.

— gen, pre-lu li / chi zhen, vaguely domestic, post-finale, when lu li’s become the police deputy director + chi zhen’s taken his position as sergeant / unit leader.

“two men approaching their midlife crises pull an all-nighter and chat” all u need to know about this is that chi zhen falls asleep and then lu li puts his jacket over him and that’s abt when my heart melted. also, the banter...

Hey i love the prisoners dilemma and i was just wondering what your writing process is ( as someone who stuggles to get words on the page)

*falls in a heap* right now anon I’m so behind on TPD that I don’t even know what my process is but first of all, thank you for your kind words.

OK! But I actually love questions like this so I’m gonna give it a shot (I’m actually very excited, thank you for sending this!)

1) Get an idea. Think the idea is going to be short. It’s not short. I am roundly mocked for my hubris.

ex 1. the seed idea for “The Only Way Out is Down” was that I wanted to combine Newt’s recovery with Dante’s Inferno (got it literally in the parking lot after seeing Uprising and to this day I don’t know what was up with my brain that day). I figured that would be done in 20k. I wasn’t even through the third circle of Hell (out of 9) in 20k.

ex 2.the seed idea for “How to Accidentally Become a Jaeger Pilot in 10 Easy Steps” was a thought I had while jogging of how funny it would be if Newt and Hermann actually had to do the stick sparring and accidentally became an incredibly effective Jaeger pilot duo, to Hermann’s euphoria and Newt’s everlasting shame.

ex 3. the idea for “Prisoners’ Dilemma” was basically “what if Newt wasn’t alone for the 10 years of his possession? What if Hermann was there, both as our audience surrogate to observe the situation but also as a potential source of salvation? what if it was really messed up but also really cute and domestic?”

2) Each fic has a different process but generally, ideally, I write the first draft as quickly as I can all the way to the end, occasionally having alpha readers to offer encouragement if it’s a very long piece to get me through the slog and self doubt (I had SO MUCH self doubt about towoid, damn, I was convinced the story was self indulgent garbage pretty much the whole time). TPD that kinda broke down so it’s been slower going overall as I release chapters as they come. One reason I like to finish a story to the end before posting though is a) it gives more time to let the early chapters sit so I can edit them with fresh eyes and b) it allows me to “seed” things and set up foreshadowing for stuff I don’t get an idea for until I’ve written to the end. For example, the circle “Wrath” in TOWOID was re-written after I finished the first draft because I realized it needed tweaking to be brought in line with the overarching mystery of the story so the reader could actually *solve* it.

3) I get beta readers. I also read the chapters about 100 more times myself, before and after it’s posted. I’m still editing months even years later. I basically re-read a section every time someone comments on it, because their comment allows me to see the story with new eyes.

When it comes to defeating writers block, generally what I find is it’s a product of being too hard on oneself. Another reason to write the whole draft before posting is it allows me to not worry about the audience or let them in on the process until I’m certain myself about what I have to say, without fear of judgement or alteration for “fanservice”. Trying to change things to please fans is one of my biggest sources of writer’s block. There’s generally a reason I don’t do things a certain way. I also really need there to be conflict in a story or I get stalled out. If it’s just two people having a cup of tea agreeing on everything the other says, I don’t know how to direct the scene forward. Even just now while working on the next TPD chapter I realized I had stalled out because the characters agreed on something too early in the conversation and they needed to be in conflict for the conversation to progress to where it needed to go.

Tip: One thing that’s helpful for breaking writers block is doing 15 minute short prompt fics. Just having something rough but DONE is a good way to remember that one is a writer and one CAN complete things. It also helps make writing feel less momentous, like every word needs to be perfect, which is in my experience the source of almost all writers block.

I also try to incorporate lessons from the writing workshops I’ve begun attending. Lately I’ve been working on:

- Make sure everything has a cause and effect. Even just thoughts the characters are having need to be prompted by something external, they can’t just realize things out of the blue, something needs to prompt the thought, otherwise the audience can’t follow or predict the action and it makes them frustrated. I still agonize over what are probably invisible plot holes in TOWOID where I feel like I didn’t adequately set up certain aspects of the story. For example, I still feel as if I never properly came up with the cause of the dive into Newt’s memories taking the form of Dante’s Inferno, at least not to my satisfaction, because the true Doylist answer was, “Because the author felt like it.”

- For TPD I’ve been throwing myself into making sure information isn’t known to different characters before they actually share it. An astute reader may notice that by ch. 6 of TPD, Hermann *still* doesn’t know that Alice is the brain in the jar. Why would he know that? It’s a bonkers thought that would never occur to Hermann, Newt is too embarrassed to tell him and the Precursors never would. So at this point, though the audience has outside knowledge of who “Alice” is, Hermann still believes she’s a human accomplice, perhaps someone at Shao. Similarly, the Precursors and Newt have a copy of Hermann in their minds, but it’s a copy from the day of the Drift, so they don’t know Hermann’s thoughts for the past year or two, they don’t have an echo of the Hermann who has been in love with and cohabited with Newt for that time. So, their map of Hermann is incomplete thus they can’t always predict his actions and that drives them nuts. I could go on but that would be spoilers. Suffice to say, I’m doing my damndest to give each character distinct knowledge and a distinct mental map of how they operate, which can be a bit migraine inducing for the author at times lol.

- Describing facial expressions with specifics. This is a critique I got at my last workshop, that I was falling into the fanfic trap of describing things like, “Something indescribable happened to his face.” It’s not indescribable, damnit, describe it! You’re the author! We can only see the world as you show it because it’s all squiggles on a page! When you use that turn of phrase, you’re making the reader do your job of showing how things look AND you’re missing an opportunity to give your characters strong, unique visual details.

I saw someone add some stats here that I found interesting, so I’m going to include that here:

I published 15 works for a total of 199,784 words (not including some drabbles that are only published to tumblr.) Hmmm, I’m realizing my stats might be skewed because of an epilogue I wrote for a fic from last year. Oh well, I was told there would be no maths, so I’m not going to figure it out now. Oh for fuck’s sake, I’m realizing I have counted the Dive series as one work, but ao3 counts it as 5 or however many of them there are. Blah. No one check my maths please.

10 fics rated Explicit, 3 Mature, 3 Teen, 2 General and 1 Not Rated. All were Larry except for one Drarry fic.

My most popular fic this year was I Didn’t Fall For You (You Fucking Tripped Me), which is also the most popular thing I’ve written ever. Why? I have no idea. You guys are weird. I’m not weird at all for writing about monitor lizards. My second most popular fic was If I Loved You Less, which is telling me you guys like a/b/o fics, maybe? idk.

2. Work you are most proud of (and why):

Probably When the Sun Won’t Let You Sleep. That fic consumed me while I wrote it. I constantly thought about it, and the characters talked to me all the time in my head. I knew them inside and out. When I first came up with the idea of Antarctic research scientists, I had no idea what the story was really going to be about until I started researching the British Antarctic Survey. There are so many stories to be told from the absolute ends of the earth that I had no idea existed. The fic became a story of why Louis found himself in Antarctica, but he’s not an entirely reliable narrator of his story. The other characters help you figure out why he’s really come to the ends of the earth.

3. Work you are least proud of (and why):

I wouldn’t say I’m not proud of anything I wrote this year, but I’m a bit mystified by the popularity of I Didn’t Fall For You (You Fucking Tripped Me). To me it was just some silly thing I wrote to fulfill a couple of prompts that I put together. I had fun writing it though! And it’s always fun to have lots of people talk to you about a fic, so that was nice, too!

4. A favorite excerpt of your writing:

(From If I Loved You Less)

Louis’ heart pounded at the sudden intimacy of a darkened garden, although other couples strolled through the lantern lit pathway.

“I hope I was not interrupting you in the ballroom.”

Lord Styles’ voice sent a shiver through him that Louis could never quite control whilst in his presence. “No, you did not, and I thank you for coming to my aid.”

“Ah, I sensed you were in need of it,” he said simply as he offered Louis a sly smile. It seemed they were both in agreement on Baron Winston. The music of a waltz floated through the air, and Lord Styles hesitated on the stone path. “Shall we return for our dance?”

“If you’d like to,” Louis said, though a bit reluctant to leave this small oasis from the heated ballroom and if he were honest with himself, reluctant to sever this small moment of privacy with Lord Styles.

“I would rather walk and speak of nearly any topic rather than return to the ball,” Lord Styles declared.

“Is that right?” Louis ducked his head to hide his smile at Lord Styles’ honesty. He quite liked that he seemed always so forthright.

“Yes, and I’d dearly like to spend my time elsewhere.”

“Why don’t you?” Louis asked boldly as he looked back up at Lord Styles’ handsome profile, almost sure of the answer.

Lord Styles’ lips pursed a bit and he made a funny twitch of his nose as though to prevent a grin from spreading across his face.

“I think you know why,” he whispered into the darkness.

5. Share or describe a favorite review you received:

I had the opportunity to write a fic for @greatpemberly this year as part of @1dfanworksforcharity and when I discovered what her ao3 was, I was so so happy. I recognized her ao3 immediately as someone who has been reading and commenting on my fics for years. It was an honor to write for someone who has supported me for so long.

I feel extremely lucky to have the response I’ve had to my fics in general and to get the comments I receive. I respond to every single comment, and I appreciate every single one. The long ones with people yelling about specific parts make me grin like an idiot, and the short ones letting me know they’ve read or reread something show up in my ao3 emails and bring a smile to my face, too. Whenever I get a comment from a writer I admire, I try not to make a fool of myself in the response but I don’t always succeed. lol. I mean, come on, if Dolce comments on your fic, you get to dance around your kitchen for a while, right?

6. A time when writing was really, really hard:

I had a meltdown in November. I was trying to do nanowrimo and I’d written 27k of my Big Bang for next year and was kicking ass really. However, my Big Bang is angsty, and it was way too intense for me to try and write that much difficult writing in that amount of time. It messed with my head in a way fic has never messed with it before. It scared me a little. So I quit nano halfway through, and it was definitely the right thing to do for my mental health.

7. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:

Niall and Shawn in If I Loved You Less. When I started writing that fic, I had basically no notes on what Shawn was like and only a vague idea of what Niall was like, but as soon as I started writing it, they threatened constantly to just take over the fic. lol. My beta said when I started, if I was sure I wasn’t writing a Shiall fic.

8. How did you grow as a writer this year:

Just the act of writing so much last year and this year has helped me hone my skills a bit. There are things about how I write now that isn’t present in my earlier fics. And it’s simply from just writing so much that it gets easier to create a more well rounded story, I think. When I structure a story now, my outline isn’t just a series of points anymore. I’m much better I think at coming up with the story arc so that I can focus more on characters. Taggiecb really helped me with “inner monologue” and calling me out when I wasn’t doing it. lol. I also wrote a fic in past tense this year for the first time, which was a much bigger challenge than I ever thought it would be.

9. How do you hope to grow next year:

I just hope to keep writing and reading as much as possible! I think the fics I have planned are ambitious in different ways, so I hope to keep challenging myself.

10. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

My answer is always @taggiecb. I don’t know if anyone understands that every single thing I write must first pass her initial test. I write first to entertain her and then I think about myself and everyone else. haha. We’re not co-dependent at all! But truly no one understands me like she does and no one loves my writing like she does, and it’s definitely mutual. <3

11. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year:

Always. Every fic has something of me in it.

12. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

I hope to just encourage writers to seek out other writers for support if they need it. Writing doesn’t have to be something you do alone. If you’re having trouble getting people to read your stuff, I’d say to write for challenges and exchanges. I wrote for so many over the last few years, and I really think that’s where a lot of people found my fics. This certainly isn’t new wisdom, but I think it helps to write and read as often as possible. The more you write, the better you’ll become at the craft of writing. The more you read, the more inspired you’ll become. If you don’t read the other fics in your fandom, you will miss out on finding new and exciting things to write and reminding yourself on what you can work on to get better. The reading is nearly as important as the writing.

13. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year:

I’m in the middle of writing my Big Bang fic right now. So that’s what I’ll be working on until it’s done. It’s an intense amnesia au that has a twist to it. Hopefully, I can pull it off. It will likely be the longest thing I’ve written.

@afirethatcannotdie and I are going to run another round of @larryabroad, so actually, Ellie, we need to get on organizing that again soon. haha.

I have two other fics that I have plotted that I’d like to write in 2019. One is probably for the @1000feelingsfics challenge and is a soulmate au based on a drabble I wrote for the Fall Drabble Challenge. The other is a bucket list au that involves a lot of travel, so maybe that could be for Larry Abroad. Not for sure on that yet.

Hello! I know you from ao3 and I absolutely adore your fics (the ones about football). You are an amazing writer! I really like how you give a specific voice to each character and make them feel so real, so tridimensional. I wanted to ask you if you have any plans of continuing with "Deleted Scenes" or with the Christian/Vincent ship in general bc it's my favourite ship ever and since Vincent is back in England (hopefully 4eva) I can only imagine how Christian must be feeling lol. First, THANK YOU. This is so shocking to me every time because I’m like, wait... OTHER PEOPLE like this thing I’m doing??? I mean, mostly I’m like well I wrote this because it wouldn’t leave me alone and I’m putting it on the internet because it makes me feel less like I just spent 343279898872 hours on a thing no one but me is ever going to see, which is a way I convince myself that I’m not just wasting time doing nothing productive with my life (we can discuss the relative merits of that line of thinking some other time probably). And then people are like... I LOVE THIS?

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. A long time ago, when I first started writing and I had no fucking clue what I was doing and there were these BNFs that I was reading/following and there were these stories that had inspired me to write MY story and given me these feelings that I couldn’t categorise or place or even process really and I was just here like... I don’t know what I’m doing, but I put words on a page, I thought to myself “someday, I want to be a writer who makes someone else feel this way. Like... have feelings and be vaguely disoriented about them.” I never actually expected to achieve that, so to know that people are not only out there READING this stuff I’m doing, but also like... they LIKE it. They think it’s GOOD? They think it’s BETTER THAN GOOD? It’s baffling, but also a major honour AND a major responsibility and I love it and I take it seriously and there is not a word in any language that I know that can adequately express my thanks for this.

Now... to answer your question.

Short answer: yes, there is more fic coming.

Long answer: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and also 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Yes. Further details under this cut because I’m about to get long-winded. No one who reads my fic should be surprised about that.

I’m working on something. I’ve been working on it since JULY. It’s slow going. It’s actually part of a new series, since Deleted Scenes is done (for now... I might add more and fill in gaps since I have ideas, but I need to get through these 10 other ideas first, so that probably won’t happen until everyone is retired at the rate things are going.) But! Since Vincent is currently back with Spurs, there’s a new series in progress (It is called “All Loved Up” after THIS AMY SHARK SONG since every time she drops a song I instantly think “I WANT TO WRITE A FIC ABOUT THIS, HERE IS A 5000-word detailed outline of all my thoughts.” The idea is exploring the next chapter in Christian and Vincent’s relationship after Christian made his very rash and impulsive offer back at Christmas for Vincent to move in with him. So there’s all this constant uncertainty because Vincent wants to leave and yet doesn’t and Christian doesn’t want to get hurt again, but also wants what’s best for Vincent AND they now have to figure out how to live together and what all this means. Plus injury drama and coming out drama and parallels with the past and feelings of failure, and it’s a lot, but if I can execute it I hope it’s really going to be good.

So, I’ve been working on the first fic in this series since July, as I said, and it’s slow-going because it’s a departure from the usual way I write this relationship in that there’s a lot of tension between the two and neither of them is really speaking about it so there’s always sort of this feeling of low-key conflict and Vincent as the POV character doesn’t quite know WHY, but it seems like Christian has reversed his stance on EVERYTHING when it comes to their relationship and now wants to hold Vincent at as much of a distance as possible. This is tricky when Vincent is living in Christian’s house. Also, at this point, Vincent is still hoping to only be there for a few weeks before he can go back to Fener where his friends have prepared a room for him in their apartment, so he’s trying to get in this quality time with Christian and for some reason Christian is being kind of an asshole about pretty much everything. I actually HATE writing them fighting, it’s hard for me, and it’s especially hard for me because I want to let Christian explain himself, but I chose to do this all from Vincent’s POV for a reason, so I’m sticking with it. So it’s a lot of trying to convey Christian’s deep emotions with body language and subtext from a man who doesn’t show his emotions on the surface and that’s been a challenge. Also I keep writing ensemble cast and party scenes and I’m RUBBISH at them, so that’s something.

But! It’s almost done. Or, well, it’s more than halfway written and edited. I haven’t actually written some of the scenes yet, but I’ve edited nearly everything that I’ve written. My goal was to get this out by the end of February so I can move on to fic number 2 in the series (which is going to somehow be EVEN LONGER than this one I have now that was supposed to be maybe 20k and is currently at 35k without being fully written yet), but due to work things I don’t think that’s happening. But SOON, friend. SOON. I just want it to be over with and move on because i have so many more stories to tell.

That is your very long-winded and probably more detailed than you wanted it to be update. Hopefully that suits?

If you want occasional scene bits and sometimes updates with what’s going on and a lot of randomness with me popping in and dropping full chapters in your lap because I feel badly AND because they’ve been done for MONTHS and I just want someone to have them, you can follow my writing side-blog at @drizzitwrites. Ah I forgot to say how often I climb but I usually try for 3+ times a month bc the gym is pretty far away (by far i mean 2 different buses & an hour of crying). When I first started I was being taught how to tie a figure 8 knot (which is the most important one you need so you don’t die) and i couldn’t fucking get it right so the instructor had to go over it 193837 times & was getting annoyed @ me. LOL I couldn’t look him in the eye at all and my face had never been redder that day lmfao

At least ur teachers like you. I’m like that one student that never says anything and just sits there with an rbf so idk what my teachers think of me LOL. Half the time they don’t know I’m there. I got marked absent a couple times before but i was there in class 😤😤 ohh that’s cool. Band season runs the entire year for my school but that’s probably bc it’s a credit course. Newborn babies kinda are, it’s when they reach a couple months old they become cute

I GOT INTO MY CHOICE 3

WITH 30K ANNUALLY IN MERIT AID BC IM SMART AND JAZZ

THAT’S LIKE OVER HALF OF THE TUITION

IT’S MY FIRST FINANCIAL AID PACKAGE TOO

AND IM SO SO SO HAPPY

On a lesser note (lol) I got a minor role in the musical so there’s that. I didn’t post on callbacks day because I got in late and I was tired. But callbacks were okay. There were twenty of us (including J-dude) and we all were told that we were guaranteed a featured role at minimum if we didn’t get a lead. I don’t think that I did particularly amazing, if I’m honest. This audition just wasn’t all that great. But I’m in, and my friends are in, and even still...

I GOT ACCEPTED TO MY THIRD CHOICE!!!

AND THEY OFFERED ME A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY TO ATTEND!!!

AND TOMORROW IS THE FRIDAY BEFORE BREAK!!!

So today I went and got my essays critiqued and the biggest thing was that I needed to add some sort of narrative to all of my essays, even the tiny 200-word ones. So I’ll work on that Saturday, I think. And then I might be able to submit my choice 1 application on Saturday or Sunday at the latest. The supplemental essays are all done, I just need to work on the big, basic one.

Still, I GOT IN TO A SCHOOL THAT ONLY ACCEPTS A THIRD OF ITS APPLICANTS YO! It’s out of state and a private school and a decent size and full of nerds and geeks and in a city, and the people are nice, and the campus is nice, and there’s lots of research going on and all I need to do is get enough private scholarship money to make up the difference between what’s offered, what my parents have saved, what my parents plan to pay, and the loans that are offered for at least the first two years, I think. I’m also planning to apply for the school’s scholarships by crafting a few essays over the break.

I also need to check fastweb and other sites so that I can line up scholarships to apply for in the coming months.

OH OH OH OH OH AAAND when I checked my application portal for my choice 3, they, you know, had the nice little letter, and at the bottom, they had a cute little personal PS note that really made me feel special. Highkey I downloaded that letter and saved it to my harddrive. This school definitely goes out of its way to attract and maintain students (though I have had a few administrative issues with them). Has the wait been worth it? ...Yeah. If these past few days increased my merit aid or something like that, it was worth it. Also, finding out earlier would’ve made me into a mess. Now I get to enter Winter Break with all of this happiness. I’d have to say that this timing was excellent. I’m super excited to potentially go there now.

Still, I have applications to fill out, ahem, choice 1.

I’m sure I can manage to rack up $10k-$20k before May 1, right? Yeah!

I really hope that I’m going to have to make a difficult decision. I hope that all of my schools offer enough money and opportunities to make me seriously consider all of them. I know that for my choice 1 and 2, it’s looking pretty all-or-nothing at this point, so I really have to impress in these applications.

...Uhhh, the instagram account for my choice 3′s EMS just requested to follow me? Odd, but okay.

Anyway! We doin’ good out here right now! That breakdown on Monday? Ha! Never happened! It be like that sometimes.

Today I am thankful for this third college acceptance. Now that I’m only applying to seven schools instead of ten (don’t worry, rankings are staying where they are you just won’t see choices 5, 6, or 10 anymore), and I’ve already applied to six of those seven, I feel so much calmer. Maybe I’ll discover a school with a late application date or something and apply just for fun but only if I really actually like it, feel me? Anyway back to this acceptance, I’m feeling good, having a grand last couple of hours, ‘bout to do the Spanish homework that I totally should’ve done earlier but hey lol whatever am I right? I’m going to college my friends!! College!!! I was so worried about getting in because I was afraid that they were gonna defer me in the name of yield protection, but maybe they saw that I was down to demonstrate interest and other jazz, so like, ayyyyyy. We rollin’ good okay? g o o d . Life is grand.

VMON ; the fashionistas, the earth signs, the teacher and his student, the refreshingly buzz of wild thoughts swirling through the organized mind whAT IS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT VMON!!! i can’t even say what is the most adorable abt those two but i think i’m drawn to how surprisingly similar they are but also how utterly different? whilst they’re both care-taker namjoon is the mental support, he’s incredibly good with words and verbal reassurance whereas taehyung can make anybody feel at ease with just a smile or a hand on the shoulder. whilst the older is gifted with just the right words in any situation the younger has that feeling to him that puts others at ease immediately; like a puppy you pet and feel better though it’s a small creature that needs you to take care of them and guide them you feel oddly accepted, protected, loved and taken care of by a huge grin, lots of spit and scratch marks on your hands and the feeling of their fur underneath your trembling fingers and that is taehyung. namjoon on the other hand is the words of an elder, a friend, a mother that do more than every physical support could do for you at that very moment. namjoon is the voice reading you a bedtime story that lulls you to sleep from very far away while taehyung is the bass soothingly vibrating beneath your head whilst being pressed close to his warm body. i imagine namjoons fingers are always kinda cold and at their best luke warm or hot and sweaty and taehyung seem to be always very warm and dry. namjoon get headaches from worrying too much and nibbling on his inner cheek in thoughts, taehyung has already moved from the foggy slumber of the past, got rid of the muddy finger prints on his white vest and is with one foot already in the newly fallen snow of the future, in his chest already bubbling excitement and aticipitation. vmon are the lecturing but kind words of an older person guiding and the younger reaching out and holding them in their steady embrace for a while knowing that even the wisest and oldest need nothing but a hug and a thankful smile from time to time.

so vmon is like the Ship of the Month but c’mon we all know bea HAS to have sidehoes (Me, A triple-biased Ship Wreck, ) so i’ll go in detail abt the others too fuck it why not:

JinMin ; ah yes sag+libra, they’re the kinds of sweets that look innocent and taste sweet and nice on first bite before some nasty kind of lemon STINGS into your tongue and you reconsider ever eating candy again bc how dare the sugar&sweets industry foaling you like this??? jinmin is this; effing libra park jimin being the cutest but also the most cunning out there, he KNOWS how to act and how to behave to have people liking him - but that doesn’t work when the person he’s trying to lull in acts like an actual 5y/o that just. isn’t having it. nopedy nop nope. this bangtan bomb is still everything to me bc i think their individual relationship comes out wonderfully as well as this vlive - truth be told both are reasons why my life improved 10% overall am not kidding. seokjin is the bigger brother chim never had and jimin the younger jin never had i think their sense of humour is rly similar (name one time when jimin pressured himself NOT to laugh at jins antics!), they’re the Gossip Girls out of these bunch of boyscouts and i love them for that! whenever one of them is whispering into the others ear it looks extra shady if you ask me &I LOVE IT! jimin sometimes looks so extra Done with Jin and he just continues going on his nerves like it’s a water slide &I LVOE IT! i also love how seokjin is older but let’s jimin (and everybody else) just have their ways from time to time, he isn’t too serious when he doesn’t needs to be and i think that puts the others at ease. they’re also Team Touchy though i’d say jimin is more of the physical support than jin bc jimin isn’t one to be all sappy with words but rather shows his concern and that he senses someone’s upset with simple, reassuring gestrues. he doesn’t play around like jin does when he’s bored or is all clingy and is glued to people like taehyung but he got his ways in immediately being close and having a hand on ones shoulder when they’re worried and i actually think jin learned a bit from chim when it comes to this? i mean yes he’s The (so claimed) Mom but he isn’t overly touchy but with the youngsters he is and i find that rly cute! they’re on one wave and the wave’s wild and high enough to happily sail on it :’^) i also read this lovely yet absolute heart-breaking (in the possibly best way) masterpiece and fell in love instantely

others i’m all HEART EYES for

Sope ; who isn’t in love with yoonseok. honestly. the pisces boy and his water bearer. when yoongi’s the deep dark water growing heavy and deadly hoseok is lightning buzzing through the halfway frozen surface, cracking ice and bringing light into the darkness which the water reflects in every direction to light it up. when hobi is all twitching nerves and fluid anxiety (and he’s all nerves to me; even when he’s talking in a quiet/low voice to calm ppl he’s talking incredibly FAST and his voice literally dances up&down he is just. A BUNDLE OF NERVES HE’S SUCH AN AQUARIAN) yoongi is reassuring deepness and calm and when yoongi’s depressed and without any motivation and everything and everyone is choking him to death and he feels like drowing hoseok is his light, oxygen and soul food. they’ve that super healthy relationship where they magically balance their downsides out smh?? that’s how i see them. they’re offering what the other is lacking and by that make a very strong unit. plus yoongi is really straight-forward and honest but he’s not one who’s all lovey dovey and shows how much he cares too obvious BUT WITH HOB HE IS EXACTLY THAT!!! i just rly love them but then again, who doesn’t?

Taejin ; Team Agegap - mhh both have a similar but different feeling to me but it’s all pure. they let jin be the child and are sUPER ANNOYED BY HIM sometimes when he wants to play around and they don’t want to! Seokjin is absolutely in love with taehyung (but then again who isn’t) and they can gET INCREDIBLY TOUCHY (possesive bf Tae at it everywhere, their mama stage??) with each another! plus the one and only thing i ever wrote is taejin lol for jinkook, i love that seokjin has that ability to lower himself. he’s the oldest and jeongguk the youngest yet i think they’re very close in the sense that jin is lowering himself and jeongguk likes to play the know-it-better& mess with his oldest hyung at times so they’re almost equal (plus team muscle pigs yay). these three are a bunch of pre-schoolers i wouldn’t want to take care of (am kidding pls pls let me play around with them!)

Double Wings ; Smol & Tol - namjin were the first that got me into reading bts fanfics (our sometimes tired, sometimes overly enthusiastic but 90% of the time emBARRASSING parents who gave the word Awkward its meaning (not bc they’re awkward with each other hell they’ve one of the best relationships you can have with someone who you’re not similar to in lots of ways), are absolutely, undeniably in el oh ve eh with each other), namjoon as the motivated, strict person that want and wants and wants and seokjin the actual fire sign telling the earth sign to CHILL for a second or two.. they just get me lots. minjoon is just. pure love. one of the least physical members and one of the touchiest, the smallest bundle that has his shell perfectly under control and the tallest that has everything but control over his long, slender limbs, don’t they make a nice meet&greet of opposites i love it!

and last but not least: Taeguk ! my sweet summer children, the youngest and most playful, partners in crime! they have your chest aching and heart longing for a soulmate you don’t know yet but want to have by your side already, they’re a refreshing summer breeze when you’re out in the midst of an autumn storm and they just give me that supper fuzzy, warm and very soft feeling inside where i either want to put them to bed and read them a bed time story of be out with them in the middle of a hot summer night, ripping out trees and yelling until it echoes to the moon and back. taehyung is warmth and steadiness when jeongguk is anxious and unsure, he’s an older brother that doesn’t mind playing the younger for a while and jeongguk is obviously the touchiest with taehyung (no surprise as taehyung IS the touchiest himself lol). i think the most fics i read (it’s not many but if i start one that i love i will read 20k in one go) is taeguk just bc it’s rly popular (which is understandable if you ask me?) and many talented ppl fell in love with them!

shoutout to 2seok & jikook for being underrated in their brother-like, more quiet charms and sugamon for putting up with one another for such a long time so they practically grew on one another, sugakookie where an Intro Big shows an Intro Smol that it’ll be okay being like this in an extroverted idol world AND vmin & namseok for being the typical same age liners where one of the “twins” constantely states “i’m like 2minutes older rESPECT ME YOU LITTLE SHIT!”

bangtan is one family and i love all their friendships/dynamics but those are my faves :’^) in the end nobody stans bts as much as taehyung bts anyways, right? THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME WASTE MY TIME I LOVED THIS
