H. Casanova had his fair chances as he tried to stay stable in the second set, but A. Collarini's more efficient ballstriking helped him optimizing his chances as this match progressed. This was further evident in the second set tie-break, where A. Collarini benefitted from H. Casanova's forehand errors toward the end of the second set as a result of the latter's inability to handle some pressure points from the baseline. As a result, A. Collarini converted 38% of his 8 break points compared to H. Casanova's 18%, which signified the efficacy of the former's ballstriking.

Besides, both players had their own service games strengths and weaknesses as the match progressed, taking into account almost neither player could consistently hold their service games in the first set. In this regard, as both players were unable to score an ace, H. Casanova had the slight edge by 2% with a 68% percentage, but he had a subpar second serve winning rate at 16%, which made A. Collarini's service games looked more consistent as the latter won at least 52% of his points on serve, which was the second serve (despite 6% lower than his first).

This marked A. Collarini's first Challenger title of the season, as well as ending his one-year Challenger-level title drought since he won the Piracicaba Challenger last year. For H. Casanova, his next tournament will be the Concepcion Challenger next week, as he will face Matias Soto in the first round. This could also be an interesting week to check if he should be back on track as well, considering his rollercoaster journey all these years.

They say that wherever there is good, the bad lurks behind.

Y/N had never had it easy, and while that may seem trivial to some given that everyone knew who she was due to her father's massive name in the business world; she'd struggled to gain acceptance in the public eye - merely being reduced to a 'nepo kid' despite her massive success as a musical artist, it seemed to take a backseat whenever people dug deep into her life, paying more attention to her love life rather than her music.

You see, Y/N has had many lovers which some took as a sign of her being some sort of Casanova - from long term relationship to short flings, it seemed as if whomever she was with, she'd bound to be the next hot topic and when she met Andreas, she realized exactly why people were intrigued by her love life, Andreas was a professional football player and being such meant that he was equally well known as she is - they'd eventually cross paths and a love story blossoms.

Or what looked like a love story.

Andreas was possessive, far too possessive that it seemed to seep through the façade she had in public, people would notice hints and clues of her less than stellar situation, and after months of silently suffering; she'd finally rid herself of him and released the album Agrio which was a clear and direct message towards him.

Y/N had then decided to vanish from the public eye to go on a self love and rediscovery journey, her place of choosing you may ask, she'd chosen Paris - as one of her close friends happened to live there, Kylian Mbappe; the pair had maintained a close friendship for several years thanks to running in the same circles, and through Kylian she'd met the man of her dreams.

Sergio Ramos.

The six foot tall, inked Spaniard was a combination of gentle yet assertive, initially she'd wanted to resist him as her heart was still healing yet it was his presence and support which helped push her through the path of healing, eventually leading to the best kind of love she can hope.

Three years and two babies later, she'd been more than happy that it lead to her composing an album by the title of Amante - an ode to the man that saved her from herself, and yet in the midst of the happy bubble she lived in, there was always that inkling feeling that something was bound to happen, something that would pull her away from the cloud she was floating in.

" Amor, are you ready? I - " Sergio's words die down the minute his eyes land on his wife, donning a beautiful emerald green dress that hugged her curves in ways which definitely tugged on his heart and had shoot blood straight down. " Oh Dios Mío " he murmurs.

Y/N turns around with a shy smile, her hair cascading her soft features which were highlighted by the makeup that adorned her face. " Is it bad? " she wonders.

" Bad? " Sergio echoes before shaking his head, " My beautiful wife is everything but bad " he adds before a naughty smirk appears, " she's very bad in bed when she doesn't listen but right now ... let's just say, I'm reconsidering going to this stupid event before the match "

" Sese " Y/N whines, " when did we get a night for ourselves since Marco and Romano's birth hm? I wanna feel less like a mother and more like a girl, out with her man "

Sergio chuckles, wrapping both of his arms around her waist to tug her closer. " The way I see it, you're still that girl " he nods, " my wild girl who just so happens to be the best mother in the entire world, and the most talented singer "

" My baby " Y/N cradles his face to plant a soft peck, " Te quiero "

" Yo también te quiero mi vida " Sergio smiles.

The event was lavish just as Y/N expected, however with her little knowledge over football; she stuck to standing next to Sergio as he chatted away with players from his team as well as players from opposing teams, Y/N would pitch in every now and then if a question was directed to her but overall had remained silent for the most part with a sense of dread washing over her, unsure why, it wasn't until she looked up that she realized exactly why she felt it.

There, a few feet away, stood Andreas with a beautiful model hanging on his arm,

She shouldn't feel like this, especially now given the fact that she's married with children yet the effects of the trauma he subjected on her still remained, she gently untangles herself from Sergio who was deeply engrossed in a conversation with Kylian to notice, she wanted to get some fresh air and was unsure where she should go; on an impulse, she makes a beeline to the women's bathroom and along the way her shoulder collides with the one person she didn't want to see.

" Y/N " Andreas smiles smugly, " Fancy seeing you here "

Y/N responds with a tight lipped smile, " Andreas "

" Now darling " Andreas chuckles, " Are you still angry with me? "

" The better wording would be that I fucking hate you, but you already know that " Y/N responds with the same smile. " Excuse me "

She was stopped when Andreas placed a hand over her elbow, " Can we talk? "

Y/N looks at his hand and violently rips her arm away, " Don't you dare touch me? "

" When did you become such a bitch? " Andreas asks, " I'm guessing it's because of that sleazy husband of yours "

Y/N had endured a lot in her life yet what she will never endure, is any one insulting Sergio, " That sleazy person is the best man in the entire world, he'd managed to do in two months what you couldn't do in five years which is to actually be man "

Before Andreas could bite back, he feels a hand on his shoulder which caused him to whip his head, ready to growl only to shrink as he realized who he came face to face with.

Sergio gives him a smile, " Andreas, right? "

" Y- Yeah " Andreas responds, completely different from the way he spoke to Y/N.

" I heard wonderful things about you " Sergio smiles.

Andreas furrows his brows. " Huh? "

" Yeah " Sergio laughs, " Apparently you like to abuse your power over men, emotionally drain them, hurt them with your words all so you can say I'm a big and powerful footballer " he hisses, " wish I can say the same about your interesting football abilities " he smirks, " or lack there of "

" I ... " Andreas began.

" No .. no, I clearly saw what my happened " Sergio said, " You were disturbing My Wife and if there's one thing I don't tolerate, is when people to try hurt her so If I were you, I'd sleep with one eye open and pray I am not in the starting eleven for tomorrow's match because while I would love nothing more than to beat you senseless for being a misogynistic piece of human garbage, I know better than to embarrass my wife who's the most prettiest girl here, so .. " he grins then gently grabs Y/N to stand next to him, " See you on the pitch amigo "

The couple turn around, with Sergio tightening his embrace on Y/N and whispering, " Next time you want to go somewhere, I'm coming with you ok "

" Ok " Y/N nods before looking at him. " I love you "

" I love you too baby " Sergio smiles.

I know some people think Dean is a "ruthless Casanova" like you mentioned, a jerk of a womanizer but he's far from that ! Yeah, the guy loves sex. And women. Yes, he can't keep it in his pants and won't turn down an opportunity to get laid. But when it comes to it, we've literally seen how it is. And it's sweet, and gentle, and delicate, and loving, and considerate, and fun. I mean, he was into "sexy rules" ! I know that he probably got a girl in every town and even if sometimes he lied about who he was or what he did for a living, he never lied about it being just a one night stand. And we just have to actually look at his face after an unexpected kiss. Or when a girl hits on him and is clear about wanting him. I mean, Andrea ? Anna ? Ellie ? He's just all shy and flustered and surprised, so how can this be the expression of an asshole playboy ? My man is a lover and just loves having a good time with anyone willing to share a night with him. And the women he shared more than one night with ? The ones he had actual feelings for ? He was one loving, adorable, protective man. I know this man isn't real but, ugh, he confirmed the kind of guy I like and probably put way too high expectations for my future love life 😭😅

Are you kidding?! Never apologize for talking to me about anything, but least of all Dean Winchester. I could write an entire thesis on him, and I still wouldn't want to stop talking about him! 😍 Plus any chance to chat with you is more than welcome! ❤️

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you've said here. I'll never understand people who equate his love of sex and pleasure with being a womanizer, or playboy. Or even worse - act as though it makes him a misogynist! 😠🙄

We literally only ever see women quite happy to be with him (and why wouldn't you be?) women he never pressures or creepily pursues. In fact, as you mentioned, most of the time, it's women coming on to him. (Again, not at all surprising.) And usually, when they do, he's all flustered, and surprised.

And though many people use the interaction that you mentioned, in 10x07 between him and Shaylene, where he's talking about "sexy rules" as "proof" that he's obviously a sub, I've always seen it as his happiness and willingness to talk about boundaries, and what she's willing and not willing to try. I think that's the OPPOSITE of misogyny. In spite of his eagerness (*ahem* horniness 😜) he's still more than willing to talk things out, so they both feel safe and comfortable and can have a good time. (Not that I'm trying to naysay people who want to fantasize a subby dean, of course - fantasize away. 😁)

Anyway, you're right in that Dean Winchester (and Jensen for that matter!) has set my standards for what a man should be, WAY too high. Lol! But I just love him with my whole heart, and would happily use up a thousand wishes if he could be real. 😍🫠

We're all going with the motions, working together on Episode 4 and other content. There's nothing super exciting to share, and it's mostly "Yes, we're still working on it!"

That said, I can share some progress and insight regarding Episode 4. All of this is still unreleased…

There are nine new aliens, with several more coming later this month. (You've seen some teasers of them) There are also five new crew members whom you haven't met yet. (You've seen teasers of Lindi, and now you've seen Andreas also!)

Stoffies is still catching up on redrawing the remaining older backgrounds, and once that's done, he'll start on the new ones for Episode 4.

The Wormwood Family

The Wormwoods are an immensely wealthy illager family in my world. A few of my illager OCs belong to the bloodline, including Percy. They own a sprawling estate and what is essentially a personal militia, and are the closest thing to royalty you can get with the way illager society works.

Illager factions are usually run by, to put it simply, extremely wealthy and extremely powerful gangs, typically lead by the head of a family and named after the family’s surname. The lord or lady who is the head of the gang will live in the woodland mansion and as will their next of kin (children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, etc).

The Wormwood manor is owned by Giovanni Wormwood, an old and powerful Evoker who is 109 years old. His old age does not show - physically he is in his mid sixties.

He is kept alive by magic and while he is sharp witted and cruel as ever, his health is slowly deteriorating from the effects of his dark magic.

He runs the house with an iron fist, and is a sour and arrogant man - the house is also run by his second in command, Lady Andrea. She is his wife, and is around 103 (once again, kept younger by her magic) and often runs the place when he is unable to. She is even colder than her husband, and is not afraid to eliminate anyone who stands in her way, including her own family. She had her first born son murdered (attempted murder, he may or may not have survived and got into the art of …..illusion..) because he could not succeed in his magic studies, and often dangles this looming threat over her other children. Rumour in the mansion has it that she might be behind Gio’s health failures, some whispering in hushed tones that she has put some kind of curse on him to ensure her side of the family takes over, but for now, that’s all it is - just rumours.

Next in the line are Gio, Andrea and their siblings (all of which are dead) children. They are part of the highest league of Evokers. The council, as they call themselves, consist of the lord and lady, the high mages, and also a top vindicator general, Hemlock, who often joins meetings, being close friends with the lord and lady and is highly respected in the mansion despite not being of the bloodline.

Gio and Andrea’s eldest son is Mervyn, an exuberant socialite with a loud and pompous personality. He loves expensive gifts and booze, is extremely gullible and is a bit of a fool. He often boasts about his magical prowess and charm (none of which are anything special, he often relies on magical party tricks to get people to tolerate him) and has a habit of getting extremely drunk and running his mouth about things he shouldn’t. He gets scammed a lot. He has two body guard vindicators, who are silent, imposing and are also twins.

Ursula is the second eldest child, she is not of the bloodline but is the wife of Mervyn and so that makes her a step-child. She gossips a lot and loves to spread rumours. She spoils her eldest daughter Yolanda and her youngest son Charleston rotten, and also spoils her vex, despite being advised not to waste her magic by summoning the, when she shouldn’t. If you dare criticize her sweetie-poppet-darling-angel-Charlie-bear Charleston you will probably get thrown into the ocean with weights attached to your ankles.

Then we have Eugene, the middle child. He’s a complete loser and gets 0 bitches. He is constantly complaining and grumbling about something, and due to this, Ursula takes great pleasure in making him be the target of her passive aggressive warfare. He works as a scrollkeeper and has an extensive knowledge on many things - if you can get past his complete lack of charisma, permanent expression of disgust and nasally drone of a voice, he contains an ocean of knowledge.

The second youngest son, Marrow. Marrow is a Casanova, always trying to woo any illager who catches sight of his award winning smile and chiseled jawline. He plays into peoples egos, praising them and watching them intently, making them feel important to put them under his spell to do his bidding, like a siren. Behind his facade of romance and charm hides a cunning and sadistic character, who takes pleasure in watching things suffer. He shows this in his Vex, who often take the form of the illager’s inner personality. His vex are absolutely vile and go out of their way to upset, hurt or frighten people physically, emotionally or verbally whenever he summons them. Due to this, he only takes them out on the battlefield or when he wants to torment his employees, nieces or nephews. He is an immensely cruel man and is not to be toyed with.

Marrow had a wife, however she’s out of the picture. No one really knows what happened to her.

The youngest son is a recluse. His name is Ferguson and he stays away from his siblings. Like Marrow, he is a twisted individual, however he is more obviously so than his brother. He has a disturbing fascination with anatomy and mutation, and dreams of making a biologically ‘perfect’ creature. His studies and experiments have helped refine the… ‘model’… for the Ravager, and when he is around people he is often can seen staring them down in an immensely creepy and violating way, particularly if they’re a human or a villager, or taking notes frantically with his notebook that he carries. He is a pasty little beast with gaunt features, even for illager standards, and he giggles like a complete maniac. No one really knows what he does in the dank, dark corners of the mansion laboratories, but it can’t be good. Stay on your guard around this peculiar character.

Luckily, he’s a coward, so if you look tough enough you probably won’t get mysteriously knocked out cold with a slowness potion at night and wake up on a dissection table.

Finally we have the youngest of the bloodline, all ranging from teens to their late twenties.

The eldest child of Marrow is Persis, of whom prefers the name Percy. She’s 28 and she’s a vindicator. She is tall and broad, and her personality alone could fill up a room. She’s loud, raucous and both extremely unlikeable and charismatic in her own kind of way. She has a short temper, and also flirts a lot but never actually bothers to be courteous or respectful to her love interests - she’s the kind of person who will leave without so much as a good morning after sleeping with someone. She is an adept warrior, and is extremely strong. Given she has pure direct Wormwood blood she would have become an Evoker, but she was extremely burly and violent from the start so it was decided she’d get dibs on a higher up position in vindicator training. She likes to bully anyone who’s smaller than her in size, with the exception of her cousin Charleston, who’s her boss.

The second child, and youngest of Marrow’s children, sister of Percy, we have Ivy, a female evoker who is exceptionally gifted. She is stoic and cold, and Percy cannot recall ever seeing the girl smile, cry or even so much as express more than the occasional scowl or grimace in disgust. She is very powerful for her age (being 18) and due to this she is often seen as the favorite child. However she is constantly pressured by her elders and is put through the painful and abusive training that comes with learning the dark arts, hence her numbness. She speaks very little, and when she does, she usually puts that effort into bruising someone’s ego. Her vex are aggressive and unstable in nature, often wailing and shrieking. Due to this she uses fangs the majority of the time.

Percy and Ivy don’t get along. Percy thinks she’s a ‘prissy little cow’ and Ivy thinks Percy is a ‘lumbering moron’.

Then, we have the children of Ursula and Mervyn.

Yolanda is the oldest daughter of the two, being 24. She loves jewelry and expensive things, is spoiled rotten by her mother and father, and like her mother, she’s always in on the gossip. Out of all the illagers here, however, she’s probably the nicest. She isn’t as mean spirited as the rest of her family, is quite emotional and while she isn’t the brightest she usually means well. Because of her softness and naivety, she’s subject to cruelty from her peers and often looked down upon in a condescending way, even by her own parents. It doesn’t help that she’s not a very good mage, either.

Youngest, we have Charleston, whos 21. Charlie is your classic spoiled rich pretty boy. He’s entitled and boasts a lot, and has a Napoleon complex (he’s quite small - not Arch-illager levels of manlet, but enough to make him a target for cruel jokes). Percy works for him as his body guard, and it’s a good thing he’s a cousin and pays well because Percy can’t stand him and would love nothing more than to punt the little bastard. Recognizing the chaotic flow of the first set, physicality might have also been in the mix as H. Casanova took a medical timeout for likely his back upon the conclusion of the first set, but he hung on well despite A. Collarini controlling some or most parts of the flow. Right at the first game alone, the former's backhand error caused the latter's earliest break point of the set a point after A. Collarini's backhand winner forcing the deuce (as well as fumbling his game point), but H. Casanova still managed to hold his service game to 1-0. Since then, both players had their fair chances, but neither of them got materialized as the consistency question, both on serve and on return, remained.

Fast-forward to the eighth game, A. Collarini disguised his slice/drop shot brilliantly to win himself the second point of the game before holding his serves to 4-4, which could be important, given the circumstances of the next game. Interestingly, A. Collarini's aggression was reflected through his defense-to-offense mechanism and shot selections, as he tried to bait H. Casanova through his backhand slice, where the latter mishit it to the net to create the former's earlier break points of the game. Somehow, an intuitive volley from the fifth seed fumbled the second break point, which also contributed in his service game hold to 5-5.

It took two more games before the tie-breaker became inevitable, which could affect the whole flow (and the end of the second set, simultaneously). Right at the start of the tie-break, H. Casanova mishit his +1 forehand for A. Collarini's early lead (1-0), but the latter could not sustain his moment several points later as it got equalized over his forehand error (2-2). It took several points for them to get going before it all came down to the pressure points in the middle of the tie-breaker, where H. Casanova's forehand errors (including a third-shot one) lost him the next two points to 5-3, and A. Collarini generated his match point without any further hesitation, which he immediately converted to take the second set 7-6(3), as well as winning him his first Challenger title of the season.
