Ack, am I so predictable or what? I just had to design a young Aurora; couldn’t help myself.

In ROR universe, I don’t think Rose lives long past her teens? She was poisoned by Maleficent’s curse and (as we know), its powerful stuff. She struggles to conceive an heir for Auroria, passing away just after giving birth to Audrey. And she just so happened to take the heart of a young and impressionable Bridget with her. Because unrequited sapphic love stories 🥲 you know, angst?

Rose talks in a very odd way mainly because modern ‘english’ is still new to Auroria, especially just after Rose was woken up. She speaks with a HEAVY accent, as her native tongue is Classical Aurorian, which is a mix of Latin and French. Audrey doesn’t share this accent later on as she’s taught modern English first, and Classical Aurorian second.

🪐Aurora Rising Fanart🪐

Put quite a bit of effort into this one!! I used pencils, alchohol marker, and posca pens. I wanted to make fanart of my favourite character, and for the fandom cuz it doesn’t have much fanart :)

I saw some sleeping beauty au fanart with Adam as Aurora earlier but ima take it in the opposite direction.

Heaven curses Lucifer into a deep sleep to stop him from rising up against them and if he isn’t woken by someone who loves him desperately in a certain amount of time, he’ll sleep forever. Charlie goes on a desperate search to find her mom and bumps into Adam along the way who, surprisingly, shows her where Lilith is.

Reluctantly, Lilith returns to hell. But it doesn’t work. Everyone thinks it’s hopeless, but Vaggie notices someone in Lucifer’s room and enters just in time to see Adam kiss him and Lucifer stirs for the first time in months.

When Adam notices Vaggie watching he’s all like

“I was never here! Do you understand me. He woke up on his own, I was never here!”

He then leaves like a bat out of hell and Lucifer fully wakes up.

Idk I just like the idea of Adam hating Lucifer while still being in love with him, which of course just makes him angrier.

Bonus points if Luci didn’t know about Adam’s feelings

Aurora Comic Fanart: Dainix and Big Feelings

I took a stab at drawing Dainix from the Aurora webcomic by Red. This is really rough, but I was trying to capture the feelings from 2-2-18 and 2-2-24.

Dainix is feeling a lot here:

Physically crappy with nausea and exhaustion (I think)

He's also burning up internally with soulfire rising to the surface. I don't know how that feels physically, but probably uncomfortable?

Emotionally crappy because he's afraid of the ocean and possibly hurt and saddened by Falst's earlier comment

Doubly emotionally crappy because now he's terrified that his soulfire will flare out of control, consume him, and endanger his friends. The poor guy.

So, uh. For comparison, one "mild" symptomatic case of COVID made me feel:

Physically crappy with exhaustion, loss of appetite/unhappy stomach, fever yuckiness

Reiterating: fever. Like fire coursing just below the surface, making my skin flush hot

Emotionally crappy because it derailed an adventure I'd been anticipating all year, which was saddening

Doubly emotionally crappy because once you are a plague walker, you are afraid of endangering your friends if they get anywhere near you, especially if any are high risk

I'd bet my tea stash that these parallels were unintentional, and Dainix's experience is obviously not a one-to-one match to mine. But boy oh boy did I majorly project I mean draw those parallels in my brain. That panel on 2-2-18 where he's lying down with the cracks starting to show, at one point I was like... dude, you are curled on your side in your hammock, distressed, burning internally with soulfire, and I am curled on my side in bed, distressed, burning internally with fever, and we are twinsies in the worst possible way. That panel vividly captures so much of what I felt.

I'm mostly okay and recovered now. I promise. Just mild cold symptoms left. Still a plague walker, though, and still isolating until I cease to be a plague walker. It was weirdly comforting to be able to project connect so thoroughly to this character (he is one of my favorites). Anyway, I felt the need to excise this from my brain, so here you go. Fanart and rambling.

For nsfw artists having a platform to earn an income is becoming increasingly difficult and that sucks…

I've gone to only selling NSFW on TwiX and Telegram. That, and I'm working on a website so I can 'vaguely' advertise on these newly babyproofed medias.
