This is actually a post trying to convince you to watch Magic funhouse, you got fucking punked. (I do love Bryce Tankthrust though. Originally was in something like a relationship, but it was more of S.A. than consenting sex after a while. When he began to disagree, this showed more prominently.

I don't have anything for Niffty except for one thing, so trigger warning once more. I believe that Niffty came from an immigrant family from Japan—half white. In the 50s, housewives got a bit stir-crazy from all the work they did, leading to hysteria, anxiety, depression, and other issues. In some situation where leaving the house was necessary, I believe one or multiple guys, possibly older, attempted to sexually assault Niffty. Asian girls, such as myself, that look like that "stereotypical" East Asian, young, small, etc., are fetishized. Niffty must've been little, judging by her form, and she was also an immigrant, and also a WOMAN—seen as lesser. In self-defense, she killed him (or all of them? I'm leaning toward it being multiple), having had enough. She was soon diagnosed with the housewife syndrome and lobotomized, meaning they gave her SEVERE brain damage, hence her twisted mind in the afterlife.

Overall, Niffty is a character that we don't know much about yet. Of course I'll write my own story over that. Playing with fandoms is just what I do. :) While I do genuinely believe the part about her being lobotomized will become canon, the rest is, again, just something that's been brewing in my head for a while. Maybe I'll incorporate it in my own writing, who knows?

hiya so i used to be a huge brandon rogers fan but fell out for a few years and. oh boy did I miss a fuck ton of lore in those few years. i stopped watching basically when stuff and sam just started, so ive missed... a lot. while ive been trying to catch up (i cried my eyes out over bryces series), you seem to have the timeline worked out pretty well. what order would you say the brcu should be watched in? and is it important to keep up with "minor" roles/series like theater class or the grandpa hates ___/elmer hates ___/other solo skits, or is it better to stick to the "main" series (stuff and sam, blame the hero, etc)

also, I wanna say your analysis of the brcu is awesome. it's a confusing set of timelines that you've ironed out and theorized about pretty damn well. im curious if brandon rogers has done all this on purpose or if he's just making the timeline up as he goes

Hi! My sorries if this reply is a tad bit late, I always have trouble saving answers to my drafts.

In my personal definition, I'd say the BRCU encompasses (almost) every single video Brandon Rogers has ever made. Within the BRCU, I definitely think there's a "core" overarching storyline that revolves around certain characters. This core storyline is primarily explored via the several series, but nonetheless includes elements from other creations of his.

These "core" characters are primarily:

Sam & Donna

Elmer

Blame

Bryce Tankthrust

Bobby Worst

The Mingeworthies

The majority of them have been protagonists of a series at one point or another. However, almost every character played by Brandon himself can be considered important to the overarching plot. Therefore, I think watching individual character skits released 2015 - 2018 offer valuable insight into the personalities and smaller nuances of reoccurring characters. At the very least, I would recommend watching the videos centred on the aforementioned characters released in this time period prior to any of the series.

In general, I think the BRCU is best watched in the order the videos came out in. Although tricky at first, I think Brandon makes it easy to discern "where" we are at any given moment. And as a rule of thumb, outside of series, every video takes place chronologically in-universe after the other.

Moreover, as of 2022/2023, I believe we're going through a renaissance of sorts with an abundance of new characters being regularly created. Pretty much anything after Normal British Series. While very entertaining, I wouldn't say these are essential to understanding the main plot, as Brandon does have a degree of separation between old & new characters.

To hopefully simplify things, here's a playlist I made that imo includes more than enough context needed to understand that main storyline. If it appears a bit overwhelming at first, I'd rerecommend just sticking to skits of the characters I mentioned above before moving onto the series. Anything else can be a fun bonus!

First-Impression thoughts on Hazbin Hotel's "official" first ep, now that I checked it out on YT-

*Spoiler warning below for those who didn't see it yet-*

-Great to see Charlie & Vaggie again, still a wholesome lil supportive pair whilst having their own quirks/things to do on the side. Esp with Vaggie spending the whole time back at the hotel reshooting a whole commercial for Charlie's sake, awww :3

-Pleasantly surprised by the twist of Charlie's mom being the figure she was most inspired by to make her dream come true, along with her love for singing. Curious to see where Lilith's whereabouts could be if she's been away for so long?

-The new voices were... a mixed bag, I suppose? Mainly in the line/tone-deliveries for certain characters (& I guess I'm still moreso used to the OG pilot's portrayals lol), but I can see the good attempts made from those like Charlie & Alastor.

-I... don't know how I feel about the way Lucifer's backstory was handled? Like, yeah its interesting hearing of him & Lilith genuinely connecting over their "rebellious" natures (& thus fleeing from Heaven's wrath/staying in Hell to be together). But then, the whole thing with Lucifer apparently being some "doofy, misunderstood dreamer who only wanted the best for Humanity, got bullied by those mean ol' angels, and didn't meaaaan to spread Sin all across Earth~ 🥺🥺" ...ehhhhh, felt kinda lame imho 🤷‍♀️. Not that I mind giving nuanced/sympathetic angles to a character's development now & then... but with someone like Lucifer (who mind you, is meant to represent the "Ring of Pride" on top of his Hell-ruling duties), I guess I kinda expected more... "bite" to his portrayal, I guess? .3. But idk, maybe that's just me... (*Tho admittedly, one could argue that perhaps he and/or Lilith were simply lying in that storybook to make them look less "bad"... idk, given HB's track record with Stolas' writing and since both shows are made by the same people... part of me can't help having my doubts ^^; *)

-Adam... ooooooh boi .x.;; Ever since I saw his leaked design I've always been rather... "mixed" about him, and now seeing him on-screen & talking I... don't really get the concept behind him? I mean, yeah I'm all for a fun, chaotic-jackass type when done right (hell I still consider Blitz among my faves to this day lol). But with Adam apparently being the big leader behind Heaven's army, AND was even the "original" Adam from biblical times... how tf did he get the chance to be allowed in Heaven if he not only helped curse humanity to sin (aka: sharing Forbidden Fruit with Eve), but on top of him currently being a horny, misogynistic loudmouth? 🤨Discounting that is also the fact that his whole design vibe just... doesn't really give me "holy army leader" vibes, but more-or-less just Blitz in some weird angel cosplay lol 🤷‍♀️. No shade to those who genuinely do like Adam though (and I'll admit his song was surprisingly catchy lol), I just... feel like his whole personality/design vibe could've probably fit better to a fallen angel-type character (or even a demon-angel hybrid if you wanna play more into the Heaven vs. Hell conflict), someone who only takes up the "Adam" title as an ego trip to enact his revenge against Hell... or, something like that idk; my brain's tired lol. (*His sidekick Lute seems pretty cool tho, she kinda reminds me of Tempest Shadow from MLP in a way .3.*)

-Nice to see more of the old Hotel gang again, esp those like Nifty she was a cute :3 (her whole reaction to the camera honestly being a whole mood lol)

-Did not expect to see Brandon Rogers pop up voicing Katie Killjoy of all people, buuuut I guess I can see the amusing comparison potential to that one CEO persona of his lol

(Here's an old oneshot I made a long time ago based on a Brandon Rogers' video, that I never posted, but I've finally got the courage to post it. Be prepared for the cringe)

WARNING: This is a crackfic, and it's pretty random. It also contains curse words and mentions Riddle's overblot.

(TL;DR: Riddle has a tea party with some dumb kids and then overblots after someone throws a chair at him)

“Riddle?” I asked worried and scared to see if my friend was ok. I saw as his unconscious body was beginning to be covered with ink.

“I think the queen is possessed” Said Che’nya in Horror. We watched as Riddle was beginning to turn grey, and his eyes glowed red.

“RUN!” Screamed Lilia as we saw Riddle overblotting. “AAAAAH,” I screamed as Riddle screeched.

Ok, you might be wondering “(Y/N) what is happening I’m confused!” and right now I’ll tell you that story, so be prepared!

I have awakened in an unknown place. I wasn’t at NRC this time. I was on a field of some sort. it looked like a normal field from my world, so maybe I’ve returned back! I continued walking, only to see some guys screaming at a small table that was in the middle of the field.

“Oh! What is this party over here?” I said as I took a closer look at who was at the table. It was only Riddle, Che’nya, Lilia, Idia, and Rook!

I went up closer to them to see what they were doing. I saw all sorts of delicacies, like mont blancs, strawberry tarts, lemon scones, carrot cakes, and many more. My mouth started watering from how delicious the desserts looked.

The only thing that seemed off was the teacups that were cut in half. They looked weird, but whatever, this is all just a dream, at least I think it is…..

I decided to walk up to them so that I can say hi to them.

”Hello everybody!” Everyone got scared and jumped when they heard the words I uttered. They got even more scared when they saw me. I saw Riddle becoming red in anger when he saw me.

“Who are you?” He asked looking like a tomato. he was wearing a [red dress with a big heart on it. He looked exactly like the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. I decided to respond so that he wouldn’t use “Off with your head” on me. “Why I’m Alice!” I said. My name might not be Alice, but hey, I have to pretend (If your name is Alice, then just ignore this part). Riddle was pouting at me, still not sure if I was really “Alice”. Luckily, Che’nya baked me up and told Riddle:

“This is Alice, I found them while I was on a tree.” I smiled at Che’nya, thanking him for saving me from riddle’s wrath. Speaking about him, Riddle was still suspicious of me but he let me sit beside Idia and Lilia. Shortly, it was tea-time, and we began drinking tea.

“I’m having quite a ball in Wonderland, what about you all?” Questioned Riddle curiously. Idia looked down and the tips of his fire-hair became pink. He was wearing a black tank top with yellow balloons wrapped around his head, meaning to represent bunny ears and face make-up that I think we’re supposed to look like your hare. It honestly looks like something a 10-year-old with no talent would slap onto somebody’s face. Soon a voice came booming in “Yeeesssss” It was Rook! he was wearing a floral outfit and had a purple and blue flower painted on his face. He looked as ridiculous as Idia looked. It took me all my willpower not to laugh at how they looked.

Riddle glared at him and ask him calmly: “ Who are you?”. Rook Do you do with a hand pose and said “I’m the flowerrrrrrr!” Do you know where is singsong voice. Riddle nodded and said “oh” before beginning to drink his lemon tea. After he was done drinking his tea, he looked directly at Che’nya. Che’nya was still wearing the outfit that he was wearing when we first met. Give a cat-like smile when he saw Riddle looking at him. “Who are you?” Asked Riddle, Che’nya grinned more and said, “I’m the Cheshire cat!” And Riddle looked surprised. “Ooooh!” He awed in surprise. Then he turned his attention to Lilia, who god knows what he’s wearing. He wore plastic trash bags, with the ugliest vest you can think of that a grandpa would surely wear, and sunglasses. Riddle got curious about who might Lilia be, like dude you literally invited these people to your tea party, how come you don’t know who they are?

“Are you the Jabberwocky?” Asked Riddle. Lilia proceeded to raise his hands in the air, and then put them on his hips. “You have no idea motherless child!” And then he began hiding under the table.. Riddle shook his head in disappointment and clicked his tongue. “Here’s used to having more children fall through our rabbit holes.” He sighed.

Soon, Riddle finished his second cup of lemon tea, but he wanted more, “March hare, can you bring some more tea?” He ordered. Idia got out of his chair to bring more packets of tea. We waited one minute and nine seconds for Idia to bring tea packets. He gaved them top Riddle, and Riddle screeched maniacally. I was standing next to him so that I can put hot water into his cup for his tea bag. While Riddle was getting the tea bags, Rook decided to become an opera singer and sang a high notes. Riddle glanced at him, looking mad in both ways. He became angry and insane, thanks to Rook ruining his moment of putting the tea bag.

“No, homosexual, stop it!” Screamed Riddle. Soon they all began to scatter around and screaming in gibberish, I was the only one who didn’t do that, and they looked so stupid running around. Eventually, I was sitting next to Riddle and Che’nya, and I watched as Riddle opened another tea packet, and threw the tea bags in the air.

“Yehehehehehe!” Laughed Riddle as a maniac. I started choking on my saliva from how hard I wanted to laugh. Idia was scared and started signaling Riddle.

“They’re doing the kegels!” Riddle got scared too. “Oh! The Kegels! Stop!” He then punched my back so that I would stop choking like a little child. It surprisingly worked. a few minutes later, I saw Rook meditating on the field. I decided to join him, for fun. Riddle saw us not sitting in ourv seats, so he came to us to ask what we were doing.

“What is this?” He asked. Rook finally opened his eyes to look at Riddle and started doing weird hand gestures.

“I’m photosynthesizing!” He said in a calm voice and then started humming. We decided to leave him be and started inspecting the field. Riddle looked like he was about to vomit.

“Stupid acid reflex putting me in a bad mood!” He was mad. Like really mad. He looked like a tomato that was boiling like the hot water that I put in Riddle’s cup. He saw Idia stare at him in concern and glared at him.

“The freak you’re looking at, Hare?” Asked Riddle in anger. Idia tried to calm him down by saying “Eek! I’m sorry, my queen!” Riddle raised his brow and began inspecting Idia’s face. He looked like a child who just saw a brand new species. “Your hair looks like Nagito Komaeda did it.” Idia was shocked “Oh my god!”

Riddle started playing again with the tea bags. I finally mustered enough courage to ask him why he had an obsession with the tea bags. “Um…my Queen? Why do you like tea bags so much?” I asked. He looked at me with hollow eyes and laughed. “Well, my dear Alice, it’s all because when you have this tea, toilet paper doesn’t do crap!” He screamed as Lilia ran past him and stole the bag of tea and laughed. Riddle looked so mad. Then I looked at Rook, who was humming. Idia wasn’t too pleased and screamed at him “Stop photosynthesizing at the table!” He yelled.

Che’nya decided to scream. “I’ve got more tea bags!” And shoved them in Riddle’s mouth as he almost choked. Riddle got sooooooo mad. “I’ll use Off With Your Head if you do that one more time!” He said as he stormed off. “Take your chair with you!” Shouted Idia and threw Riddle’s chair. Riddle screamed and fell down. He laid there unconscious. Rook fell down too dramatically and then we saw Jack Howl jogging away. “Uh, Hello? Hello!” Shouted Idia confused. Jack looked at us confused before jogging some more. Che’nya got up and asked. “Who the hell let him down the rabbit hole?” Lilia flew past us and said “I’m gonna sh!t on your dreams!” Then I saw Riddle coughing up ink. I went up to his unconscious body .

“Riddle?” I asked worried and scared to see if my friend was ok. I saw as his unconscious body was beginning to be covered with ink.

“I think the queen is possessed” Said Che’nya in Horror. We watched as Riddle was beginning to turn grey, and his eyes glowed red.

“RUN!” Screamed Lilia as we saw Riddle overblotting. “AAAAAH,” I screamed as Riddle screeched

Che’nya hid under the table, where Riddle started throwing chairs and he turned the table upside down. Che’nya hissed at the redhead. The Redhead got so scared that he ran towards me as he screeched. I was next to Idia who began running away as he was yelling “A freaking spooks person!”. As he said that, Riddle averted his attention towards the blue fire-haired and started chasing him. I got a chair and threw it at him. I accidentally hit Idia, so I went with plan B, and I started chasing Riddle as I took him by the hand, to which he tried getting out of my grip.

I kept the grip as if my life depended on it, Riddle began spinning to get rid of my grip, which only made me spin with him.

“Save us, Alice!” Screamed Idia who was rubbing his head from the impact with the chair.

In the end, Lilia managed to stop Riddle by throwing a box full of tea bags. Riddle then fell to the ground, and I saw his body glowing. Suddenly, I got a flashback from Riddle’s childhood. i saw him crying. “Riddle are you good my bro?” I asked, he looked at me and muttered. “I-I…Just *hic* Sharted *hic”* All I said was “Same bestie” with 12 fuck!ng android emojis. Then the flashbacks were gone and I was on the field again. Riddle woke up, looked at me and smiled. But soon his pale face became green a he puffed his cheeks. “Goddammit, acid reflex! “ he said and then turned back to normal. He smiled at me, an I smiled back.

Lilia was watching everyone help Riddle, and then said “And that was the real story of Twisted Wonderland.”

If any of you had intense brainrot like me during the SMP you probably listened to a kinnie playlist for your favorite SMP member. I was wondering if anybody saved any of the (I don’t know if they were the first to do this but I’m gonna call them) original DSMP kinnie playlist videos? For whatever reason around late 2021/early 2022 they took down Technoblade’s playlist and I told myself to download the others...I never did (curse my laziness) and now I can’t find any of them. They’re all just...gone.

I’m specifically interested in the kinnie playlists for Technoblade, Badboyhalo, Jschlatt, Sapnap, Quackity, and Skeppy but would love to see/hear anything you have of these videos (song lists, screenshots, files/downloads, anything about the channel, links to the fanart used, etc.)

Xen "Octavia" Sergal Goes On A Very Stupid And Long Rant About Her Favourite Show Helluva Boss Because She Needs To Get This Shit Off Her Chest ASAP™: The Movie.

This is a long, long ass fucking rant about this show. i will type shit as it comes up in my head. i dont care if my takes are "trash" or "shit" or whatever. its my tumblr and i get to choose whats posted here. ok.

its actually fucking insane how my 2 favourite shows are on near complete opposites to each other on the surface. you have an impossibly perfectly written show with 0 bad episodes and the greatest characters to ever be on TV (Breaking Bad), and then you have a 15-20m per episode comedy/musical/drama on youtube (Helluva Boss). but this isnt about me comparing BrBa to HB, its just about HB.

i have a lot to say about this show. a lot i really, REALLY couldnt get out due to twitter character limits/not really having many friends who watch helluva boss, so tumblr gets my full thoughts, straight from the top of my head. right as theyre being produced. enjoy.

Stuff

the premise of this show is pretty damn cool. a comedy/musical/drama about a bunch of imps in hell who start up an assassination business to make ends meet, while also yknow shenanigans n other shit happens like complicated love trigonometry, bc hey its a show you cant 1 thing forever bc thatd be stale *cough* SITCOMS *cough* and repetitive and would be a shit show, this isnt a shit show. its one of the best ive ever seen. but back to what i was saying. the show has a fantastic premise with good plot and cool characters i will get to in just a moment. i rewatched all of whats been uploaded for this post. to refresh my thoughts and finally, get all this shit off my chest which ive been needing to for all this time.

O YEA OBV SPOILERS FOR ALLLL OF HELLUVA BOSS DUHHHHHHHHHH

Pilot

this is 3 years old and damn does it show. the animation is very stiff (but still, well made) compared to later episodes, and especially 1 which ill get into later. but the pilot does a great job and introducing the viewer to the main characters of the show, those being Blitzo (Brandon Rogers), Moxxie (Richard Horvitz), Millie, and Loona (both Erica Lindbeck). all with weird, and fucked up relationships with eachother. M&M are a married couple (gross), Loona is a complete whore with syphilis, and Blitzo is her adoptive Father whos also a complete perv who stalks M&M at their house. its fun! its a good plot with good characters and its pretty damn funny. theres also a major supporting character introduced in this episode, Stolas (Brock Baker). i love him, youll see why very soon.

the pilot isnt without its issues tho, the pacing is complete ass with flashbacks inside of flash backs and its just, man idk its fucked up dude i dont like it. weird shit.

7.5/10, good shit, good opening to HB

Murder Family // S1: Episode 1

good episode! damn after a year of waiting after the pilot for something new people surely had high expectations and id say E1 followed, its pretty good.

plot wise it follows I.M.P on a job to kill some bitch n yknow shenanigans n whatnot moxxie fucks it up because hes a bitch and people almost die but moxxie saves em in the end its good and i like it!

some stuff changed from the pilot, mainly voice actors. Erica Lindbeck no longer plays both Millie and Loona, just Loona. meanwhile Millies new VA is Vivian Nixon and shes pretty good! Millie has more of a southern accent now which will make sense in a future episode. however Stolas also had a VA change, Bryce Pinkham. its flawless and makes me love Stolas even more, you will see why.

8/10 episode, great shit. much better than the pilot.

Loo Loo Land // S1: Episode 2

words cannot describe how much i love this episode. its flawless.

saying something is flawless is big, really big, but i do feel like this one is. and its all thanks to the opening sequence. the opening sequence makes the audience do a complete 180 about what they thought of a character, no longer is stolas just "a rich, important figure in hell who is extemely gay for blitzo" hes that, plus a loving and devoted father. and the music, its perfection. its the highlight of the whole moment alongside the beautiful visuals and deep character development. and on the subject of characters. Stolas #1 comfort character.

this episode introduces quite a few, the first 2 youll see are Octavia (Barrett Wilbert Weed), Stolas' daughter and Literally Me™, and also Stella (Georgina Leahy), Stolas' arranged wife who wants him dead as hell with NO shoes on in the casket for fucking blitzo. shes hot. very hot. girlboss. shes mean to Stolas tho :(

this episodes plot is cool too. I.M.P make an exception for Stolas and are hired to be bodyguards for the day at a theme park oh joy a theme park how whimsical and fun loving! oh goody! everything is on fire by the end of the episode! splendid!

but like yeaa dude this episode slaps, great plot great characters great shit, O YEA CHARACTERS i forgot about Fizzarolli (Alex Brightman) hes in this episode too, at least a robot version of him. Blitzo and Octavia hate him, thats cool.

10/10, i think this is the best episode of HB released so far. it also has Wally Wackford (Don Darryl Rivera)

oh damn! another banger! lets keep this good episode streak going!

this episodes also great. not as great as E2, but still great.

I.M.P get their parking spot stole by Verosika Mayday (Cristina "Vee" Valenzuela) whos a famous popstar in hell (thats why theyre in hell because they listen to pop and pop sucks listen to metal instead youll also go to hell but for a much cooler reason) and just happens to be Blitzo's ex girlfriend. so Blitzo challenges her to a duel where he bets I.M.P can kill more people than Verosika can fuck by the end of the day an who wins gets the parking spot (spoiler alert blitzo wins bc ofc, plot demands it) and then shenanigans lol.

i really dont have much to say about this one other than i like it, verosika is hot, drunk moxxie is funny, and that hehehoo sex joke. O YEA the musics good too its very good

9/10. banger

C.H.E.R.U.B // S1: Episode 4

i hate this episode. i really really hate it.

nearly everything which couldve went poorly, did. and i dont like that. let me explain.

the plot is okay, I.M.P go to kill a trillionaire. good! thats cool! fuck billionaires and especially fuck trillionaires. meanwhile a competitor, C.H.E.R.U.B, is trying to stop this guy from ending his life. and I.M.P cant have that so they convince him to fuckin die already lol. its fine but how the episode executes this is atrocious. you could easily skip through this one and go onto E5 anyway, this plot adds nothing to the current overarching storyline. yet.

for comedy, pacing and the actual joke is everything. especially if your main writer for this episode (at least by order of appearance in credits) has been doing comedy skits on youtube for many, many years now. no offense to Brandon Rogers, hes phenomenal, but this episodes pacing and jokes are trash. the pacing goes as follows:

Beginning plot development/jokes - meeting the competitors/jokes - joke - joke - joke - fight - joke - end joke. its trash and doesnt work at all imo. the jokes fall flat and its not well paced at all.

however there is 1 more point i want to bring up about not just the episode, but the show in general. regarding moxxie and the things which happen to him. moxxie in this show is essentially a less depressed Squidward Tentacles. this sounds fucking insane but Let Me Explain. the writing has him treated like a fucking punching bag for jokes and/or plot development. in E3, this was for plot development. he got stuffed in a beer keg and nearly got ate by a monster fish. this episode it was for no reason whatsoever. he just, got hurt and thats the joke. the joke is moxxie got hurt. thats it. next episode does it worse, ill get to it.

but anyway, this episode was shit but i liked the fight scene in it, that was cool.

4/10, trash but the fight was good. it also has wally wackford.

The Harvest Moon Festival // S1: Episode 5

wow.

when this episode first released, i didnt think much of it. i believe i said it was about an 8/10ish or something like that. rewatching it, i couldnt have been more wrong.

this episode has some fan-fucking-tastic plot. and it just might be the best plot driven episode to date. maybe E7 gives it a run for its money, maybe.

the plot is as follows, Stolas invites I.M.P to the wrath ring for a day off for the harvest moon festival. here we get to meet Millies parents Lin (Su Jan Chase) and Joe (Edward Bosco), but also Striker, whos played by Norman Fucking Reedus from video game kojima. and my GOD he fucking slays the role. besides Bryce Pinkham as Stolas, Norman Reedus as Striker has to be my personal favourite Voice in the show. its fucking fantastic.

however there is 1 character i do have to mention in particular, Sallie May (Morgana Ignis).

Why her in particular? she only has a few lines! yea true, however it gives me an opportunity to talk about the shows flawless LGBTQ+ representation. In Sallie's case, shes Transgender. you can tell the gender of an Imp by the pattern on the horns, millie for example has mostly black horns with thin white stripes, a sign of being AFAB. Moxxie and Sallie however have even sized black and white horn stripes, a sign of being AMAB. but what about other characters?

(these are all from memory so forgive me if any are wrong)

Moxxie and Millie are both Bisexual

Stolas is Gay

Stella and Octavia are currently unconfirmed (i think) tho i headcanon them both as Lesbian because i can.

(also funny side note i should add the VA's for Stella and Sallie, Georgina and Morgana respectively, both ship their characters together i think thats pretty fuckin cool i feel like i just have to mention that somewhere)

theres def a lot more ive missed, however these are the ones which come to mind. their sexuality/gender identity is never forced in your face, its never too painfully obvious that theyre gay for the sake of it, its pretty much flawless representation and i feel more shows should take a thing or 2 from HB in this aspect

Gushing over Norman Reedus amd LGBTQ+ rep aside, the plot revolves around a yearly game of strength in the harvest festival where blitzo and striker (among many others) compete in together. also tangent time

LETS COUNT HOW MANY TIMES MOXXIE GETS FUCKED BY A SHARK

3. thats 3 times. again, punching bad. what did moxxie do to you, anyway tangent over.

anyway striker competes in the games to gain the trust of I.M.P to stab them in the back by killing their gateway into the living world, Stolas. and you wouldnt believe who hired him (at least i didnt when first watching), Stella. anyway moxxie finds out, shit goes down, they fight, striker gets away. moxxie finally gains the trust of millies parents, big reveal, episode end. banger fucking plot and its just so damn good.

remember how i said the animation in this show gets really gooood,,this is the episode i was thinkin about when writing that. this episode has hands down the best animation (aside maybe the finale of E6) overall of any episode. with cool panorama shots which go around the whole charaters, n shit like that its great.

banger song too, striker did a sing and its good.

10/10, a great episode, but still a weaker 10/10 than E2. it also has Wally Wackford

Truth Seekers // S1: Episode 6

I barely remember anything from this episode, and at the time of writing, i only watched it five minutes ago.

so the plot is like, blitzo and moxxie get captured by crazy conspiracy guys called D.H.O.R.K.S (haha dorks) and its up to Da Girlz™ to save em meanwhile Da Boyz™ get truth gassed and spill a bunch of plot shit and its good i dont remember what exactly they said but its a fuckin good scene the animation is great with a unique visual style bc theyre hallucinating and OOOOOOOH the hallucination song its a fucking bop i love it (This is a good time to mention for anyone who yet doesnt know Sam Haft has put a bunch of the songs hes wrote for HB on Spotify, they may be just covers, but theyre still fucking great.) but anyway the fuckin, fight scene when millie and loona catch up to moxxie and blitzo is gahhdamn fuckin beautiful its so well animated n shit and then ya just got

because fuck yes.

anyway yea good episode i guess plots good everythings good its just, i forget about this episode so often im convinced its not real

OZZIE'S // S1: Episode 7 - FINALE PART I

rewatching this episode hurts. i cant put it into words how, its just a lot of fucked up shit to take in at once and i really do not want to write about this because its late and im tired so ill keep it fucking simple

Blitzo fucks everything up by using a fake date with Stolas as a cover to stalk M&M on their 1 year anniversary of their wedding, but then moxxie breaks into song and Asmodeus (James Monroe Iglehart) does not like that one bit so he and fizzarolli fuckin rip him a new asshole meanwhile blitzo interferes and gets both him and stolas into shit and my GOD this is where it gets depressing.

this song, despite it being a banger, is depressing as shit. i cant stand it, i cant stand how it treats blitzo and stolas

the shitty choices theyve made...

the people theyve thrown away...

its all coming back to them in song form. and it fucking sucks for them.

but m&m are doin okay ig they fuckin, hit fizz over the head and continued their song after that shit its all good for them tho ig or smthn idk im tired.

10/10, a phenomenal ending to the 1st season of one of the greatest adult animated shows ever written. it also has Wally Wackford.

i have. so much to say about this. too many words to fit into tumblrs infinite character limit. but ill keep it brief because i want to

you have no idea, how long, i have waited for this to happen. just one scene between Octavia and Loona. just one, and now i have it. i am complete.

i saw this post which talked about star and moon symbolism between octavia and loona and it made me realise, holy shit, there is gonna be so much more octavia and loona content in future episodes if all this isnt a coincidence. and i am ready for it all.

i could talk about the rest of the episode if i wanted too, but i dont. i only want to talk about these perfect 2 minutes between these characters. i do think this is the best moment in the entire show so far. seeing a headcanon that youve had for so long (in this case loona and via being friends) become true, it connects with you in a way that not much else can.

and i dont care about the rest of the episode. not one bit. not right now anyway. i just want this moment, forever.

10/10. a good episode all around, and a truly, perfect moment. it also has Wally Wackford.

I’m still mix on Katie Killjoy being voiced by Brandon Rogers.

It has also started to making me wonder if Katie was always going to be like this or if they’re altering her to be more like Brandon’s female characters like Bryce.

I mean I always thought Katie would have a role where she just keeps spreading bad things about Charlie’s hotel, even making things up/ hire others to cause trouble for Charlie so the news can keep reporting on her. Heck she is even thanking them which I never saw pilot Katie never doing through she could be doing it to save face on livestream television. Luckily it seems like they will keep Katie as a minor character, so its not that big of an impact to there series for me.

It’s still a funny idea and it has even reminded me that there was a time in animation where shows had reoccurring characters whose main thing about them was being obvious references to other fictional characters or even real life people. A few examples of this are Total Drama which had characters such as Harold being a Napoleon Dynamite parody and Anne Maria referencing Snooki, Dr. Orpheus from the Venture Bros. was a cheap Dr. Strange knockoff (but still really funny), and there is one character in Atop the 4th Wall that I won’t spoil here cause it’s that crazy, so check it out for yourselves when you can.
