And I really liked your post on my ask, I loved it very much ( ╹▽╹ )

Is it possible that you could write a bit more of their interactions? Ik howl-fantasies and flaysthings are the y/n writers, but I'd really love to see them interacting more, especially with Oswald since he was quite jealous oh the Kryptonian :)

I feel like y/n would have him keep his powers a secret except from the people she deems a bit trustworthy, like Maggie and Bruce? But definitely not Victor haha

Anon, I swear to the gods I am in love with you. You are so kind! To hear how much you love all of our OC's makes my heart melt. Of course, I will write you some more. Because I have no way to tag you, I will write it here. But just know this takes place after Maggie gets back from her trip to Central City with Ivy. Which I have not finished writing quite yet, so these will be slightly out of order. But I'll try not to spoil that chapter here, as nobody in Gotham is even supposed to know what went on, on that trip anyway.

Home, Sweet Home!

Maggie's POV:

I threw my bag down on the floor of my apartment in frustration. Three weeks, three excruciatingly long weeks. I've never been so happy to see this run-down shit hole in my life. I hurled myself face down into the couch, letting out a frustrated grunt. As I lifted my head, I blew a strand of hair from my face. I looked like shit.

I got off the couch and made my way over to the shower. Hoping the hot water would relax my muscles a bit. I thought over recent events in my head. It would be too soon if I never saw Ivy again. I got out of the shower and got dressed. All the food in my apartment would be trash by now, but that was ok. I would be headed to Oswald's soon. I'm sure he's throwing a tantrum as I speak. I was gone much longer than I wanted to be. And I was drained, both physically and mentally.

I thought back to what happened jsut before I left, and remembered the letter hidden under my fruit bowl. I could deliver this to Victor. He deserved to know about it. Lord knows where that kid was now. If they meant him harm, well they were stupid, but at least he should know they're coming.

I threw on an oversized sweater, trying to hide the many scrapes and bruises covering my body. I couldn't do much about the ones on my face, or how tired my eyes looked, but I could lie. I locked up behind me, walking the familiar path to Ozzie's. I knew he would yell at me, but I didn't really care. All I wanted was a good hug from him. I hoped Butch and Tabitha were ok. But it wasn't safe for them to come back just yet, not until I knew Ivy was finally done with me. I brought my hand up to knock on the door, but it was opened before I could even do so. Y/N stood before me, arms crossed over her chest in that disappointed mom sort of way.

"Well hello, Magnolia."

She quickly pulled me into the mansion, shutting the door behind us. I had to admit, I hated the use of my full name when it came out of her mouth. It felt worse than when Moira used to do it. She guided me to a side room and shut that door two.

"I don't even think I have to explain how mad I am right now." She started.

Her tone was even, calm. Scarily calm.

"Oswald had to call me, screaming his little head off because you went and disappeared off the face of the planet. I had to come back to Gotham, early, mind you, and be yelled at some more. Victor and I, and every other good-for-nothing criminal in this god-forsaken city spent weeks looking for you. YOu know I even checked the narrows, thinking maybe for some reason you were hiding there." She took a deep breath to calm herself.

"I know. I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?"

"I don't know what else you want me to say Y/N." "Where were you?"

She finally rose her voice. It was weird, to hear the genuine care in her tone. Despite her yelling at me, I just felt sad, not sacred like I should have been.

"And don't even think about lying to me."

"Then I won't say anything. I can't say anything. Not now at least. But I'm here, isn't that good enough."

"Is that good enough? What am I supposed to tell Oswald, huh? Even Jim was worried sick about you. The boy hasn't gotten any sleep since the day Oswald came into the GCPD yelling about how you must have been kidnapped or some shit. So I'm going to ask you one more time Magnolia, where were you?"

"Do you really think I don't want to tell you?!" I screamed.

Sure, maybe I should have been a little quieter, considering I didn't need Oswald seeing me like this. And it was never a good idea to raise your voice at Y/N. But I couldn't help it. I was at my wit's end, my self control withering to dust before my eyes. She just stood there, staring at me. But did nothing, said nothing.

"I'm scared ok. To someone like you, that might sound stupid, because you're not afraid of anything. But I don't have ulterior motives when it comes to the people I care about, you being included. I can't tell you anything, not yet. But I can promise you, I'm handling it. And if you see Tabitha and Butch, don't tell them I'm back please." The last part of my sentences sounded so hopelessly desperate. It was pathetic.

She silently pulled me into a hug. One of the crushing ones that spoke all the words for you. When she pulled away she looked at me.

"Just say the word, and you know I'll kill for you, whoever this is-" "I know. But it's not time for that now. We should tell Oswald I'm home. I shouldn't make him wait any longer."

"Good to know you didn't lose all your common sense." She joked.

The walk to the throne room felt impossibly long. But whatever Oswald had to say, I could handle it. I deserved it. Time seemed to stop when he looked up at me.

"Maggie?" He asked.

Ed was with him. This was the first time in a while I'd seen the two of them not at each other's throats. Seem's like a lot changed here in Gotham while I was gone. Edward looked at me like I was a ghost. I didn't like the feeling. had they all assumed I was dead I suppose it wasn't far-fetched, no one could find me, and my phone was off. Three weeks was a long time to go missing in Gotham.

"I know you're mad-" I tried to clear the air, the silence was deafening.

He simply opened up his arms for me, and I ran into them. Even Edward placed a hand on my arm in comfort.

"Are you ok? Are your hurt?" "I'm fine now, promise. Something came up with my brother, out of the city. I broke my phone. Sorry I didn't call, or tell you I was leaving."

Y/N never said I couldn't lie to Oswald. He was easy to lie to, he trusted me far too much. He babied me, and most times it was annoying, but now it worked to my advantage.

"You have a brother?" Edward asked.

"Yeah, older. But he's very secretive, when he told me he was in trouble I didn't think, I just ran. I should have gotten a new phone while I was gone. It was my mistake Oswald really. So please don't be mad. I promise next time my brother is in trouble I'll let you know first."

I gave him the sincerest smile I couldn't muster. Oliver would have my back if I asked him to lie about where I was if it came down to it. Of course, then he'd want to know the real answer, but, that I'd have to deal with if it ever came.

"I'm glad you're safe kid." Edward said.

I cringed back, pulling away from him. I gave him a look like he just killed my dog.

"What?" He asked.

"Don't call me kid like you're not just a few years older than me. How would you feel if I called you Sir?"

"Werided out."

"Exactly." I laughed.

"I hope you know-"

"You're not letting me out of your sight? Yeah, I figured as much. but I'm really tired, can I go up to my room?"

He pulled me in for one more hug before dismissing me. I knew it would be hard to earn back his trust a little. One thing I learned in my time of staying with Oswald was that he felt things very intensely. And he loved fiercely even if it was strictly platonic.

Y/N followed me up to my room, something I'm sure was gonna be a common occurrence for a while. I left the door open behind me, waiting for her to shut it.

"So, you're willing to lie to Oswald. I know damn well your brother didn't need your help."

"He already thought I was dead; it would be cruel to let him think I was still in danger. Besides, with him having you tail me everywhere, I doubt he'll need to know. Oswald is fragile when it comes to things like these."

"So, you're protecting him. How noble of you." "Can you just say what you want to say already? I'm tired of this beating around the bush bull shit. Yell at me again if you need to, I don't care anymore. Just stop bottling up all your feelings lie you're some sort of f robot, that's Vic's job, not yours. Talk to me like I'm a fucking person Y/N! I'm not five."

She sighed, sitting on the dresser in the corner of my room.

"As you know, Victor and I got back together. But the terms are still shaky."

"Ok?"

"But the only reason I gave him a second chance was because you convinced me to. You got me through that, hard time. And I apricated it."

"Are you trying to say thank you?" I asked smugly.

"Not yet, Victor still has a long way to go before I trust him again. So, there's nothing to thank you for. But my point is, him and I were talking. With how reckless the two of us live, were bound to not make it out of one of these missions sometime. Unlike everyone else, I didn't believe you were dead. So, I got Victor to agree, taht if it comes to it, our stuff will go to you. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my shit. And I don't want the cops confiscating my guns."

"Let me get this straight, while I was gone, and everyone assumed I was dead, you and Victor not only get back together, but you wrote out your wills all of a sudden. What happen to your whole invincible mindset?"

"I grew up. And one more thing, there's one other person on that will alongside you. And I would like for you to meet him."

I thought over her words for a second. There was obviously something she wasn't telling me. But I couldn't judge her for that, I'd be a hypocrite.

"I'm hurt." Is said, no inflection in my tone.

She glanced up at me with a confused look on her face.

"That I'm not your only little pet. I mean honestly Y/N, there's someone out there that you care about, apparently just as much as me, and you don't mention his existence until now."

"That's what you're focused on right now?"

"Well, I'd rather not thing about the 'you dying' part of this conversation, so excuse me for being curious about this mystery man."

She rolled her eyes.

"You're not really tired, are you?"

"Oh, trust me, I'm exhausted. But I'm not missing the opportunity to meet this person." I smiled at her.

"Then I'll tell Oswald were going to get some dinner. Some bull about you missing our old hang out spot."

"Oh, so you're willing to lie to Oswald?" I mirrored her earlier statement.

She shot me a glare, and I rolled my eyes. I followed her out of the house, excited, but nervous to meet this new guy. Where the hell had she been hiding him?

Y/N took me to the backroom of the cafe Carmine used to own. She had one of the baristas bring us coffee as we waited. I was rocking back and forth on my heals. Y/N chuckled slightly under her breath.

"Relax, he'll be here soon. He's never late, not when I call him at least. Since when did you get so antsy?"

"Since I'm meeting someone important to you. the last time I did that, I met victor, and he tried to kill me the first time we met, remember?"

"B won't kill you."

B, how interesting. First name initial, last name? Suddenly a boy with the prettiest dirty blonde hair I've ever seen came through the door. His hair was messy, parted to the side and sort of slicked back a little. He looked to be around my age, maybe a little younger. He wore a tan, checkers suit, that was done up in a sort of haphazard way. He somehow managed to look both sharp and lazy at the same time. His eyes were covered by a very expensive pair a sunglass, perhaps he was hung over. But as Y/N said, he wasn't late.

He greeted Y/N first, pulling her into a hug, and kissing each of her cheeks. Not a single word was exchanged between them. Then he turned to me.

"You must be Magnolia, I've heard a lot about you."

I nearly choked on my coffee, that couldn't be good.

"Well, depending on who you've spoken to, I'm wondering if I should be worried. Because I have heard nothing about you, infact Y/N here has neglected to even tell me your name."

I sent her a slight glare. I was beyond embarrassed. Standing next to the both of them, I managed to look severely underdressed. He let out a scoff, and finally removed his sunglasses, clipping the to the hem of his shirt. His eyes were possibly the most piercing blue, I watched as his pupils dilated, adjusting to the new light source.

"Are you just going to stare at me or?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Still don't have a name pretty boy, I prefer not to converse with total strangers. And I'm not starring, I simply memorizing your features in case you need to be identified someday."

"Oh? And why would that be?"

"Haven't decided yet, line up, body bag, missing person? The options are endless here in Gotham."

Y/N watched us both, a stupid amused smirk on her face as she sipped her coffee. I watched as his eyes raked over me.

"What are you doing?" I glared at him.

"Memorizing your features, dear Magnolia."

I huffed, crossing my arms.

"Touche."

"You can call me Basil. Y/N just calls me B."

Basil, what an odd name.

"How do you like your coffee Basil?" I asked.

He raised a brow at me.

"I don't like American coffee..."

"This isn't an American cafe, but you should know that already."

"Alright children, that's enough. You both can trust each other, so stop with the quizzing. I'll get you a cappuccino B, and I'll refill your late Maggie, behave, both of you."

"Yes ma'am." Basil said.

I gave her a curt nod, telling her I understood.

"So, how long have you known Y/N?" I asked.

"Almost eight months now." "And I've never seen you here in Gotham?"

"I didn't live here, not until last week. She would come to visit me back in National City."

"Ahh, so that's where she randomly disappeared too sometimes. I'm assuming you've met Vic?"

"A few times, yes." "Doesn't sound like you're much of a fan then." "He can be a bit... brash. I don't think he goes about things in the way he should. But, he's fine. He loves Y/N so at least there's that."

I smiled a little at that. He was very similar to me in that way.

"Yeah, Zsasz is a bit much, but you get used to him. He's not used to showing that he cares about anyone but Bubbe, but he does. We'd both be dead otherwise, definitely not in his will." I laughed at how absurd it sounded.

"You're odd, you know that right Magnolia?"

"Maggie, people only call me Magnolia when I'm in trouble, or they want something from me. What is it that you want... Basil?

"I thought I asked the two of you to stop that."

Y/N handed us each our coffee's. I noticed bit of blood on her hand, her knuckles were raw.

"Relax, we're just getting to know each other." "You seem less friendly since your trip." She concluded.

"And you seem to have beat the ever living hit out of someone when you left to get our coffee. Which probably means we should get out of here."

I avoided her accusation. I saw the slight resemblance of a smirk ghost on Basil's face. We heard shouting and gun shots up front. I grabbed his hand, as well as knife from the kitchen counter and we ran out the back door. Y/N followed shortly behind. We hid behind a dumpster in the ally where I knew Y/N stored some spare guns.

"A knife to a gun fight, really?" Basil laughed.

"Yeah, cause mommy dearest over there would trust me with a gun." I joked.

"Children!" Y/N scolded.

"Right, sorry. Who did we piss off this time?"

"They used to work for Fish, when I saw them enter Falcone's Cafe, I just kind of lost it."

"Mooney's goons?" Basil asked.

Y/N gave him a nod. She wasn't one to shy away from a fight, but she was trying to be more cautious now. Now that she had people, she actually cared for. People that have proven time and time again that they could get hurt.

"I'll take care of them. Get her back to Oswald's don't want to hear about another one of his fit's if she doesn't get home. Especially if he finds out you came to see me, he already doesn't like me much."

Why would Oswald not like him? He seemed similar to Edward in some ways. He certainly was hiding something, but now wasn't the time to figure that out.

"No way buddy, you aren't taking them on alone." I scoffed.

"He's a big boy Maggie, he can handle himself. And you're both right, the knife is stupid, and you're not getting a gun until I teach you how to properly shoot. Text me when you're safe B. I've got to go tell Victor Maggie's back home anyways. He won't say it out loud, but he missed her."

I sighed, burying the knife in my boot.

"Fine, but whatever you aren't telling, you're telling me when we get there."

AN: I wanted to make Basil and Maggie's first interaction a little rocky. But they will be like siblings bickering from here on out. He definitely teaches her more self-defense techniques. Which would probably make him the first to learn exactly how much hand to hand combat her actual brother Oliver taught her. I feel like she slowly drops her weak little innocent act, at least around the villains.

If Basil and Maggie went to a club, how do you think that would go? I can fully imagine poor Basil trying to stick to the wall and avoid everyone, but girls keep flocking him. And Maggie is just wasted without a care in the world, dancing her heart out in the middle of the floor. It’s very much giving Scott and Ramona vibes.

I totally imagine them like this :D Haven't seen Scott Pilgrim though, but I think I'm getting that vibe.

Basil's the handsome, mysterious guy standing by the wall. People all around are dancing, having fun, and he's just standing there, alone, with the attitude "I'm broken, but YOU can fix me". At least that's the vibe girls are getting from him 😂 To his misfortune, they approach him often, batt their eyelashes, try to flirt and he just wants to be left alone. He tries to politely dismiss them and it finally succedes when drunk Maggie comes to him screaming "CoMe DaNcE wItH mE!" 😂 Luckily, she can't see their judging glares. Maggie is living her life like she's the main character in Livin' La Vida Loca, happy in her own world and just wants to share the joy with her friend! Has no idea, why Basil is withdrawn, there's alcohol, there's music, there are people dancing! Could you imagine better friday night!? He definitely can't be spending the whole standing night by the wall!

Basil thinks, Maggie's adrorable when she's acting so childish and can't fight a smile. He finally gives up, and goes with her to the dancefloor. For the contrary, he does see all the looks they are getting. Some from men, who disbelieve why someone wouldn't like to dance with such a beautiful girl? The other from jealous girls, who think that Maggie doesn't deserve him like they do.

I think he enjoys her company, even if they are dancing, although it would be much better by the wall. Or at home. Yes, at home without all the loud people around him.

Also If someone would try to take adventage on Maggie, he would definitely step up and rescue her. Maybe few times he would misread the situation and ruin her flirt, but hey, he wanted good. She would't be angry with him for too long.

Drunk Maggie also gives amazing advices, in her opinion. She would give him a monologue, that he's a pretty boy and he should find himself a nice girl, because he deserves to be hapy. She wants all her friends to be happy. Unfortuntelly there is a chance, that this joyful conversation turns into a cry festival, when she accidently mentions Jim. Poor Basil would try to calm her down, feeling bit unsure why did her mood change so quickly? After a while, Maggie finally finds strength inside her, decides to be a strong, independent woman, who won't cry over a man and storms off to the dancefloor again.

What if the two of them ended up living together? What if the two of them ended up as huge theater nerds? 1940s Superman Fan Cast

So, continuing from the 1940’s Batman fan cast here’s the cast for a hypothetical cast list for a Superman movie made in 1941. Why? Well it’s fun and really why should our fan casting choices be constrained by the bounds of time and space? This one is going to be a little shorter than Batman because, as much as I love Superman more than Batman, his supporting cast is a little less striking and it was harder for me to link that with old actors that I knew. If anyone has any to add feel free. I will say I had my favorite actor of the period Claude Raines down for a few different characters, but I ultimately wanted to save him for a bigger role in another one of these.

Heroes

Clark Kent/Superman: Jimmy Stewart

Much like Henry Fonda as Batman, Jimmy Stewart as Superman was part of the inspiration for this whole thing. Like, go watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and tell me that’s not Clark Kent. Maybe its because I subscribe to the theory that Superman is the act and Clark is closer to the real person, so I see the perfect Superman because I see Clark Kent, an earnest man doing his best to do the right thing in a world where he’s not supposed to be able to. Plus, Stewart and Fonda were friends, so that’d be a boost to the hypothetic Batman and Superman team up movie (see how I’m just inserting logic haphazardly into this thing that cannot happen. We have fun here).

Lois Lane: Jean Arthur

Yeah, yeah so maybe I’m cheating a little bit by just reusing the leads from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, so sue me (unless you’re DC Comics, then come on, this is all in good fun). Jean Arthur in that movie is half of what makes Jimmy Stewart feel so much like Clark Kent. She’s sharp, witty, unquestionably good but willing to do what she has to in order to get the truth (at least by the end). And let’s face it, a good Superman is nothing without a good Lois and these two have a proven screen chemistry.

Kara Zor-El/Supergirl: Judy Garland

Did you know the Supergirl movie was pitched as a sort of Wizard of Oz tale about a girl who finds her way home. That’s a weird starting point for a Superhero movie about a survivor of total planetary destruction. Doesn’t mean there’s not a grain of a good idea in there, and that grain is Judy Garland as Supergirl. She could play a total sweetheart but I think there was a toughness to her that would serve the role well Plus she seems like she could be related to Jimmy Stewart.

Villains

Lex Luthor: Orson Welles

Orson Welles was only in his mid-twenties when Citizen Kane came out in 1941, which makes him younger than you might want for Lex Luthor. However, among the man’s many talents even this early in his career was a gift for playing charming rich men who are secretly villainous slimeballs. Hell, go watch The Stranger, one of his lesser known films where he plays a Nazi in hiding after WWII and tell me that’s not a decent audition for Lex Luthor, an evil egotist doing whatever he has to hide his true intentions.

Dru Zod: Conrad Veidt

Veidt was initially part of my Batman cast list as Basil Karlo, with the notion that a old silent film horror actor in the era of talkies would be the best person to play an old monster actor who turns serial killer. I did not end up doing that, because I forgot, but honestly, I think Veidt would be very suited for Zod. The man was a scary looking dude who made part of his career out of playing chilling fascists as his own personal F-You to the Nazis.

Faora Ul: Gloria Holden

If I’m being honest the Bela Lugosi Dracula is not the best of the old monster movies, but the sequel Dracula’s Daughter is a real delight and Gloria Holden as the title character embodies this sense of power and darkness that would be perfect for Zod’s second in command.

Civilians

Jimmy Olson: Mickey Rooney

Just look at him. Plus, he and Judy Garland worked together and were friends so there’s a good base for chemistry between the two characters. But also, just look at him.

Martha Kent: Mary Pickford

Mary Pickford was definitely not making movies anymore in 1941 and she was only barely old enough to be Jimmy Stewart’s mother (though I think we could buy adoptive mother). She never really broke into the talkies but come on, America’s (Canadian) Sweetheart as Superman’s mother. I couldn’t resist.

Kryptonians

Jor El: Charlie Chaplin

Chaplin only made one talkie, but it was a talkie where he gave an impassioned speech against hatred and fascism and honestly, that’s the kind of gravitas the father of Superman needs. Also, I just like Charlie Chaplin and I think it would be neat to have him in this role.

Zsasz Family Halloween Pt. 2:

Victor and Y/N obviously go as Morticia and Gomez. I mean half of Gotham already call them that behind their back. They know they’re hot shit and the best couple in Gotham, why not flaunt it?

V is a strange kid, with even stranger interests. I think she would have loved the Pirates of the Caribbean films. She totally convinces Selena to do a couple costume with her. And they go as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. V being Will of course!

Maggie and Basil are still hopelessly single, so they make a pact to do a sibling costume. I don’t mention it much, but Maggie is an avid book worm. And Basil loves hearing her talk about her favourite characters. They go as Violet and Klaus Baudelaire.

Victor: Spike

Victor goes as spike, because they’re both cheeky little shits. I mean come on, you’re going to look at me and tell me they wouldn’t be besties if they existed in the same universe? He’s like the only person other than Y/N that Vic enjoys being around.

Y/N: Selene

This one is self explanatory if you’ve seen the Underworld series. Selene has the same bad ass energy as Y/N, and she’s do anything for her man. Plus she’s hot af, so of course Y/N picks her.

V: Claudia

V is the baby of the group, and their aren’t many baby vampires. But I actually feel like Claudia fits her personality quite well. She throws tantrums and looks adorable while doing it.

Maggie: Kathrine Pierce

We don’t Stan Elena on this account. I think Maggie would Pick Kathrine, because unlike Elena, Kathrine is certain about which Salvatore brother she wants. And she’ll do anything to get him! (Jim you better go as Stefan or I swear to god! I mean look how cute of a couple costume that would be 🥺)

Basil: Jasper Whitlock-Hale

Basil is just as emotionally constipated as Jasper; and equally as uncomfortable as being around people. Plus, Basil wouldn’t have to put much effort into the costume, just needs some gold contacts and they’re basically the same person.

have you ever been thinking of worst ships in Gotham? Canon and not canon. For me personally oswald x zsasz could never happend, love them too much (it's also an open challenge to change my mind hehe). Do you have yours? Who do you think Maggie could never, in a billion years, be together with?

AN: I know you only said Maggie, but I’m on a roll now 😈

Maggie:

Clearly the “friendship” has sailed in many many directions for this girl. But if we’re talking romantic/sexual relationship, there are a few people she wouldn’t work well with.

Got starters, Oswald. Not just for the fact that he’s gay, but I simply don’t think they could ever have anything healthy there. She tolerate Oswald’s Yandre tendencies as a friend, but I don’t think she could handle it if that energy was romantic, let alone sexual. It would get toxic pretty quick.

Edward. Why? Because of the Riddler. For the most part, Maggie has really only interacted with his Ed persona. She’s heard of the Riddler through the others, but they don’t interact much. I don’t think she enjoys that side of him, she thought Ed was perfect and adorable as his little scientist self. In a universe where he never becomes a villain, maybe it could work. But she wouldn’t be able to stomach Riddlers ego and brash comments.

Not the question, but I do think if Ivy and her were introduced in a better way, they could have been a fun couple. I mean they both adore their plants, Maggie is just not willing to sacrifice Gotham for them. (This is also if we just ignore the plot line where Ivy is the same age as Selena because Ew, I’m still mad they did that to us)

Basil, obviously. I mean now we see it has blossomed into a Big Sister, Wise Little Brother sort of thing. But Basil couldn’t give her what she wants, what she needs. At least not without sacrifice on his part and she would NEVER ask that of him. Basil thinks he’s “incapable of love” but he’s just incapable of romantic or sexual love, clearly he has a familial and platonic love style. She’s not opposed to people younger than her, as long as their legal obviously. (For instance since she met Bruce and Selena when they were teens she would never in a million years try to justify anything after they turned 18. That’s just gross, and she was groomed as a kid so she would rather die) Maggie loves too passionately and fiercely while Basil is guarded and distant. It just wouldn’t work for either of them.

Theo Galavan. Oh boy, does she fucking hate him at the very least for how he treated Tabitha. Even if she never had relations with the girl, she still would hate how he treats women. Again, he’s Ego is too big for her to handle. I feel like this would be her snapping point in an alternative time line. She would 100% end up killing him and feeling nothing for it. That’s how insane he would make her with his “women belong in the kitchen attitude.” I’ll also tag on Hugo for the same reasons.

Victor Freeze, he’s devoted to his dead wife and she wouldn’t want to feel like second place in someone’s heart. She deserves more than that.

Two more henouable mentions for things that could have been fun. Fish or Carmine. We all know Maggie has daddy issues. She’s thrown herself at Roman Sionis just to help her friends, she would have pulled a Lisa and shared affections for Carmine. Sure it would start out as a “business” thing, but I feel like she’d enjoy his attention. It would be more on the romantic side of things. But with Fish, yeah, no self control. Maggie would think she’s hot as fuck. And she would have slept with her.

Victor:

As far as Victor and Oswald, I’m afraid you’re right. At least romantically they are not compatible. Don’t get me wrong, Victor CAN be romantic, but not in a way that Oswald deserves. Oswald wouldn’t settle for him. Also it would be inappropriate power dynamic, Oswald is his boss. If there were anything there, it would legit at best be a friends with benefits. Victor would see it as a way to blow off steam and “help” his boss out a little.

I shouldn’t have to say it, but all the adult characters are off limits.

I think Martin is a tad younger than the others, so she wouldn’t do anything there either.

So that really only leaves Bruce. And while they make good friends, I don’t even think Bruce would consider her in that way, like he did Selena. I mean Selena is just a trouble street kid, V is a Zsasz. Alfred is tolerating barley of the friendship, that poor man would have a heart attack if Bruce and V started seeing each other. But also, V isn’t interested in boys. So her and Selena are destined to be together 😂, it’s all she’s got.

But, I also don’t think she would work well with Silver St. Cloud. She’s a rich girl, and Theo’s blood. V would resent her so much.

Basil:

Literally anyone. Oh dear god, don’t let this man date you.

Y/N:

Y/N barely works romantically with her husband 😂

But I guess Harvey. She sees him as like and uncle/father figure. Y/N is a weirdo with questionable morals, but family is important to her. She wouldn’t fuck up the good thing they have.

Again, Theo, she would kill him like first day.

I don’t really think Butch or her could ever be in a healthy relationship of any court. She looks down on him. He wouldn’t trust her, it just wouldn’t work out.

But on the flip side, relationships that could be fun are Alfred or Oswald. I know earlier I said the boss employee things is bad, but Y/N likes bad. She clearly cares deeply for the man, as he, her. If Oswald wasn’t gay, I could see them having something there. While inappropriate it would be fun. But with Alfred, she would be treated like a queen. Man’s love language is acts of service and he’s good at some many things. If she wasn’t a villain, I think Alfred could have fallen head over heels for the woman. She’s strong, confident and beautiful and that’s exactly his type.

Victor:

Big old fucking softie!!! SOFTIE ALERT!!!

Like he’s not as hard as he thinks he is

Boy listens to disco, ain’t nobody truly evil ever listen to disco! That would just be anti black of them. And if there is one thing Victor Zsasz isn’t, it’s a racist.

You’re telling me, despite not being a hero, this goober wouldn’t cut off a racists hands to prove a point? 👀 I mean think about it!!! Like he’s not gonna go around saving people, but he’s also not just going to let it slide if he sees it

Now, after that complement, he deserves a diss as well. Mother fuckers favourite ice-cream flavour is chocolate! Which is never the right answer!

Victor is an excellent dancer. Carmine totally made him take ballroom lessons as a young boy. And when he’s not at work, he’s taking Y/N out dancing! But we all know what activity that ends in 👀

Victor may think he’s invincible but he’s really not. He doesn’t know when enough and enough, but he will listen to those closet to him. If Maggie or V or Y/N begged him to take a day off and rest, he’d reluctantly do it. Victor doesn’t like feeling useless, so he wouldn’t like not working.

This applies mentally as well. He’s insane sure, but even is insane folk need a mental health day or moment sometimes. I think Vic may be physically unable to cry, but that doesn’t mean the feelings that cause tears don’t get to him. He fronts it all with rage and jokes, but I think no matter how duly, he does feel other emotions. I mean fucker loves Y/N with everything he has, he’s got a heart, he just needs to be taught how to use it.

I do think he would loose it if someone in his “family” died, I mean even with Falcone Victor went a little more off the rails then usual. But as we discussed in a previous headcannon, Victor SNAPS if his Y/N, his amazing wife, the love of his life, his soulmate, dies. And I don’t actually know if anyone, even the others could bring him back from that. Before Y/N, the thought that he’d one day fine someone to actually love him how he is, was what kept him going. Once he found that, he’s not letting it go for anything.

Back to a little more lighthearted. Victor does own colours… they’re just in his second closet. He has a work closet, and a regular closet. I still think he likes to keep it dark, but I can see him adding white, and royal, dark colours like reds, greens or purples. Just a little pop to make him feel special. And match whatever his beautiful wife is wearing, which he thinks she looks best in red (I wonder why🤨)

I think he enjoys being pampered. Both he and Basil are confident in their masculinity and don’t really let feminine things stop them. I mean neither man is one to let other people tell him what to do in the first place. They don’t care what anyone thinks about them. But I can see him taking Y/N or his girls to get mani pedis. He’d not get any colours, but he’d get his nails cleaned up and do a clear coat, or maybe a very subtle glitter. I mean man loves disco, a disco ball on his nails is the way to go!

Y/N:

She also tries to hide her feelings like Victor. But believe it or not, she’s not as convincing as she thinks she is. Even Jim has been able to pick up on some of her minor tells.

Y/N is a control freak. She doesn’t like deviating from the plan, and takes things like being on time very seriously. The only time she ever breaks script is if she’s horny, or caught up in another emotion. I think she actually feels her emotions too intensely. Her impulse control is strong, but as a learned trait. But if she’s truly caught off guard by an emotion, she’ll give into whatever urge that spurs up in here. Sad, run away. Happy, be vocal about it. Angry, kill. Horny, fuck her husband until he forgets any name other than hers.

This is why I think she was so quick to adopt that motherly role. She never wanted to be a mom, it wasn’t something she planned. But I’m the cases of Basil and Maggie, she was overrun by an emotion. Maggie was curiosity, and Basil was greed. Even with little V it was pity when taking on the role of step mother.

Y/N, unlike her husband, is not afraid to take time off. In fact sometimes she does it just to see if Oswald will get upset. She still likes to know her schedule, but when she’s in charge of the change in plans, she’s less worried about it. Wether it’s time off just because she wants to, needs a mental health day, is too injured to work and needs time to heal, or one of her “kitty’s” needs mamas help. She will gladly take that time. (Selena and Brucie are included in her kitten litter, but obviously Maggie and Basil come first)

She cares a lot about appearance, and in tern her families appearance. She totally plans family spa days to make sure everyone is looking their best at all times. But hey, she doesn’t hear anyone complaining. She totally feels like a school field trip aid, trying to wrangle all her ducklings. He husband included, he usually needs the most wrangling.

Y/N may or may not have a teeny eeney addiction problem. She’s turned to drugs and alcohol I’m the past. Because miss girl does not know how to talk about her feelings, at least not before Maggie comes along. And she’s not that great of an influence about it at first either. She pressured Maggie into joining her for drinks and drugs before. But she probably took a long hard look in the mirror after that and realised that she shouldn’t drag people into her problem. I feel like despite still struggling with it, and not really in the headset to give it up yet, she’d probably flip if any of them started to turn out like her. Like a few drinks here and there are fun, but there probably an unspoken “no hard drugs allowed by anyone in this house or your loosing your hand privileges” rule. If she need a loophole around this (if she gave into the cravings to curve her pain) she proably say something dumb like “well I didn’t bring it into the house” she knows it doesn’t comfort anyone but it makes her feel better.

She’s never gonna be a hero, her and Victor like their lives as villains. Having the title of Gotham’s most feared couple. But especially if she grows closer to Bruce, she does genuinely want a better Gotham for her children. She doesn’t want anyone to have to go through all that she’s gone through. She pretends nothing can traumatise her anymore, but those first scars in her mind burn the brightest. She grows more cautious and carful with age, not haphazardly throwing herself into danger anymore. She has proper plans in place if anything were to happen to her or Victor, she just doesn’t tell anyone about it. Can’t have them thinking she’s going soft or anything. And she does try to be a good example for her children in her own way. Sure, teaching your child the proper way to stab and disarm someone isn’t a traditional thing for a parent to pass down, but it’s practical. She’s teaching them how to survive, and hopefully thrive here in Gotham. It would kill her to see one of her little birdies shot down before her. Again, she doesn’t vocalise it though. Jim might not agree with everything she does, but she’s not a monster. She always does the “right thing”, but her version of right might just be a little different. But whatever she does, she does it with certainty and conviction. Her hearts in the right place, she just had things twisted for her from a young age.

Now while she might not vocalise her love for her family very often. She is a PROUD mama bear. Let me tell you. If any goon in Gotham is dumb enough to go after one of her kids… she will make it very known how much of a mistake that is. EVERYONE in Gotham knows very well that you don’t mess with Mama’s kids. But some of them are dumb enough to do it anyways. I could imagine when Jeremiah first joins the side of the villains, and goes after Bruce or V, she’ll give him a warning first. “You see that,” points to them “that right there is one of mine. And next time you put your grubby little hands on one of them, I will cut them off and shove them up your ass!” She doesn’t need to tell them she loves them, it more than shows in her actions.

She enjoys her dumb little domestic moments, just as much as she enjoys killing. Surprisingly, even though she doesn’t think so, she’s in her element in both.

Maggie:

I don’t think Maggie knows how to put herself first lol. Even in the beginning with Oswald, she compromised what she wanted for what she could have instead. Having Oswald as a friend was more important than her original plan. She’s willing to change her life at the drop of a hat, if it means making someone else happy. And when she does put herself first, she feels selfish and panics.

When Maggie loves, she loves intensely and she falls hard. And that’s in any kind of relationship, friends, family, lovers, even one night stands are full of passion with her. I don’t think she knows how to do anything casually. She wears her heart on her sleeve and sometimes it gets her hurt. But I think she falls in love more so with the idea of a person, instead of the person themselves. She ignores so many red flags because of this, because she craves the attention and the warmth love gives her.

I haven’t mentioned it in a while, but Maggie does have her Bachelors in Botany. She is a professional at her job. Her little flower shop adventures aren’t just a means to an end job. She truly enjoys it and feels at home when surrounded by plants. I think she really likes nature in general. She really loves animals but I don’t think she would ever take a pet for herself. She thinks it’s best to admire from afar.

Maggie fully encourages V’s education. She’s the one that drops the girl off at school everyday, and picks her up from Bruce’s house at the end of her shift. Maggie is the one Victor would give custody’s too if anything happened to him, cause he knows V will be in good hands. I can see her staying up late and helping V with homework.

I think Maggie seeks great comfort in her family. She probably ‘borrows’ an item from of them because it smells like them. Like stealing Basil’s hoodies, Y/N’s dresses, V’s beanie or Victor’s knife holster. Sometimes she wishes she had something of Jim’s, but she’s not creepy like Vic and wouldn’t take something without him knowing.

My girl is gay and she has it fucking bad. Of course, she doesn’t really know that’s what it is at first. She never expected her first ever crush to be on Selena Kyle. And Maggie is the one she’d go to to talk about it. Y/N and her dad aren’t going to be sensitive about it, and she’s a sensitive girl. Maggie helped her understand what she was feeling, and couched her on what to do next.

V is also really fucking smart. Like she’s constantly reading something new. Despite never having gone to a proper school, she was able to teach herself most things. Growing up on the streets of Gotham, you had to be smart. Anything less as an immediate death sentence. She probably used to break into the library and borrow their computers to learn more.

She doesn’t talk much unless provoked. She grew used to be all on her own, so it’s strange for her to grow used to this new full family. She never even expected her dad to except her, and now she had more family then she knew what to do with. But that’s not a bad thing, she can just be a little sheltered is all. Beside, what teen wants to talk about their feelings?

V sees violence for what it is. Violence born out of necessity and survival doesn’t bother her. But she’s not as crazy as her father. She tries to minimise the damage she does unless she’s deemed someone as “unsavable” in which case she won’t hesitate. Sure, maybe it’s playing god, but she’s got time to mellow out.

She’s also not immune to emotions, like at all. Poor girl is a raging hormonal mess. She lashes out, and screams until her lungs are dry. Normal teenage shit. Except normal I’m Gotham is normal everywhere else. She doesn’t feel guilt for killing out of survival, but she may express regret for killing out of anger. She doesn’t like being angry, or the things it makes her do.

She dreams of one day getting out of Gotham. Experiencing somewhere new, somewhere brighter. It’s what drives her everyday, knowing she’s working toward a better future for herself. She’ll weasel her way into Bruce’s private school so she can receive the best possible education. And by “weasels” I mean Y/N and Victor having a little “chat” with the principal. Victor thought her want to go to school was stupid, but Y/N supported it fully.

Basil:

Aromantic/Asexual, why, because I said so and we need more representation. I mean yes, there was love and reproduction on his planet, but even back then, he didn’t really understand it. Out of all of them, Basil is the one that genuinely does not feel him emotions. His are probably the most stunted. There’s not really a facade for him to drop, he doesn’t pretend to be anyone unless the mission directly calls for it.

I mean why would a perfectly stable (at least from an outside view) fine young gentlemen, give up his perfectly fine life in National City with his family, to go love with a Villain from Gotham? Of course, no one from National City knows that Y/N is like one of the top villains. But what they don’t know won’t hurt them. He grew sick of pretending back home with his sister, and while of course he would come running if his sisters life was in risk, he has no intentions of ever calling that place his home. Kara fit in, he didn’t. She loved it there, he didn’t. The choice was simplex

Perhaps that’s why he took to Maggie so fast. Replace one older sister with another. And Maggie was much more “down to earth” both literally and figuratively. Kara was naive and lived with her head in the clouds, Maggie has a little more reality ground into her. But some parts of her remind him of his sister, like her almost always cheerful persona, her willingness to help, and the way she’s the only one who can make him feel like a person. Maggie makes him feel human, which at first scared him, but the longer he spent around her, the slightly less disdain he had for their kind. Maggie makes him see the good in humanity; but it a way that was less Disney Princess than Kara. Maggie’s optimism was palatable and contagious.

His relationship with Y/N isn’t the healthiest one. It borders on almost Stock Holm syndrome at first. He blindly fallows orders and would do anything without question. He respects her greatly; as she was the first person to make him feel something other than boredom for the first time in his life. She made life exciting and he craved that little bit of adrenaline he was capable of experiencing. Y/N is sort of like an addiction. But it mellows out as he grows more in touch with his emotions, and their relationship becomes a little less formal.

I’ve stated it before, but Basil doesn’t really get along that well with Vic. He’s indifferent to most people, but he actually dislikes Victor and Jim. Why you might ask? Because they’re going after his girls. Yes HIS girls, that is how he sees them. It’s not jealousy though, there’s nothing to be jealous of. He simply doesn’t think they’re good enough. Victor is unpredictable, brash and reactive, often times getting Y/N hurt either emotionally or physically. Basil also thinks Victor to be stupid (which he is not, Victor just doesn’t really share his knowledge with anyone. He liked being seen as the goofy assassin) Basil once tried to kill Victor when Y/N got seriously hurt (of course Victor wasn’t taking it lightly either, he was probably pissed at himself already) and only Y/N herself was able to stop him. Since then he can be Civil for her sake, but he wouldn’t hesitate to kill Victor the second something he did for her killed.

Basil is also capable of being Civil with Jim. I mean he was able to convince Oliver Queen that he was a friend, how hard would it be to feign an acquaintanceship with the cop? But unlike with Victor where he’s more likely to give the man the silent treatment, he is vocal when Jim does something he doesn’t approve of. Y/N is grown, she can protect herself, but despite Maggie being almost three years older than him, he most definitely views her like a child. And he’s seen first hand how fragile she is. He doesn’t appreciate the Detective playing with Maggie’s emotions. Y/N probably had to remind him sometimes that Maggie is infact a big girl and can handle herself. But even she babies the girl sometimes, so who is she to judge. Maggie’s fiercely overprotective of the two of them.

Now when V comes along… oh dear god. My boy is a MESS. That’s a child! That’s a literal CHILD!!!! His own little sister 🥺. If Maggie thought he was overbearing with her, Lord did she underestimate him. He is fucking putty in V’s hands. Anything the girl wants, she gets. He can’t say no to her. I mean do you blame him? She bats her eyes and his brain just shuts off. He doesn’t like touch much, but Maggie and V are the only two he seeks that sort of comfort with. Yeah, Y/N is allowed to touch him, but that’s not really the nature of their relationship. Maggie almost always initiates touch with him. But with V, he just picks her up all the time. He keeps her close whenever he can cause he likes having her around.

Basil cares as little about Oliver’s team as he does about his sisters team in the DEO. He’ll come if they really need him, but his top priority is protecting immediate family. Sure would Maggie be devastated if he let Oliver or Thea die? Of course, but that didn’t matter, because she would be safe, and he could be there to console her. He tries not to have to visit National city or Star City much because faking all the time got tiring.

I don’t think this man has ever actually smiled in his entire life. Yeah he can be a cocky shit, and besides a frown, a smirk is the only other thing that’s graces his face. But he doesn’t smile. Now that doesn’t mean he’s not happy; he just doesn’t know hot to convey that. But his happiness is reserved for family, and they’re able to read him just fine.

Uncle Harvey:

Totally doesn’t accidentally blame himself for Y/N addiction problem. He was supposed to be the one “good” constant in her life. He arrested the girl enough times, that she began to jokingly refer to him as “Uncle Harvey” and that’s sort of how their relationship went. He was willing to turn the other way on somethings as long as she never took things too far. The couple of times she’d shown up at his apartment and needed a place to stay, sure he was always nice to her, but there were always empty bottles around. I’m pretty sure it’s cannon in show he has an alcohol problem. Harvey wasn’t a saint, but he at least tried to help Gotham.

I high key get Dad vibes from him. I think Harvey originally wanted children, but something went wrong for him. The way he looked at Scottie in that one episode, I could just tell he wanted to start a family with her. And he grew Bitter and pessimistic after things fell apart and he fell more into his bad habits. Probably convincing himself he didn’t deserve that family he had in his head anymore. So when Maggie came around and actually wanted to spend time with him, he was annoyed at first. But it grew on him. And he saw the same thing in Jim when he looked at Bruce and Selena. He’s got his own little unconventional family now. Jim, his partner in crime, Y/N, Maggie and Bruce. He doesn’t really interact with V or Basil much, and he avoid Victor at all costs! Selena isn’t much of a fan of his either. But he already has his hands full.

Harvey shows up when things are important. Maggie’s goes back to school and is graduating? He’ll be there. Y/N is having a mental breakdown and has no one else to turn to, he’s all ears. Bruce throws one of his Gala’s Harvey is always on time. He’s supportive when they’re doing well, and a little more lenient than Jim when they fuck up. A few slaps on the wrist never hurt anybody right? Harvey wasn’t perfect, why should he expect them to be? He’s been in Gotham longer than the Young Detective and doesn’t have his same blind optimism. He understands there can never be no crime in Gotham City, that’s simply not how things work.

An: yea I included Harvey, I love him and I don’t include him enough in stuff. So deal with it 😈

How do you think Maggie and Basil and even V would react to see a Riddler v.s. Victor showdown? Aka how they react to the love triangle?

Hello Anon 🥰 how are you my dear?

Oh god, ok. Victor Vs Ed would be a walking nightmare- but god would I want to watch! Also I know we’re talking our Gotham boys right now, but I can’t help but think about what would happen if Birds of Prey Zsasz tried to fight The Batman’s Ed Nashton… terrifying!

Ed’s love for Y/N is very respect base. She’s a little older then the man and he knows there’s a lot he can learn from her. So perhaps one day when Oswald is really getting on his nerves, Ed goes to Y/N for help with revenge. I mean it’s obvious he’s in love with the boy. Y/N can see it plain as day, so of course she’s going to help the younger villain.

He sees Y/N and Vic fight all the time. Yet they’re still madly in love. Besides he enjoys the thrill of his little feud with her boss. Is Gotham, normal relationships don’t exist. If you haven’t tried to kill each other even once, are you really even a couple? Them spending more time together is totally innocent. Riddler slips in from time to time and tries to crack little jokes and puns at Y/N. He’s not blind, the women is very attractive, but he doesn’t have a death sentence. He knows she’s Victor’s, but a little friendly flirty never hurt anyone right? Besides, he loves to watch her laugh.

And boy is she laughing! You know that classic cackle where you lean back in your chair so far you almost fall, and the other person puts a hand on their shoulder to steady you. That sort of full belly laugh that has a minor insanity behind it. Of course neither of them are sober during these little midnight plotting sessions. That would be no fun. Between the shitty riddles, the booze and plotting to make Oswald so furious the idiot throws a week long tantrum, Y/N feels totally free and giddy. There’s a certain high she gets from strategising a war that’s not serious for once. One where there’s no high stakes, and nobody’s going home having lost something they’d rather not go without.

VICTOR DOES NOT LIKE THIS!! That attention should be his. Her laugh should be from him. Not this low level, criminal wanna be. He looks like a damn leprechaun who sprouted real people legs. And when Victor comes home after a long day, looking for his Wife and finds Nygma with his hand around her. He’s seeing RED!!!!

Despite what everyone thinks, Vic does have impulse control. It’s very little but he does know how to show some self restraint. So he pulls himself away in the moment. Course, he does go out and make it EVERYONE else’s problem. Jimbo better hope he doesn’t run into the assassin on his little rampage. Cause Victor is not afraid to cut anyone down to size who gets in his way. He’s furious, and even if this little friendship was totally innocent, that wouldn’t change fuck all to him. Little does Victor know Y/N planned this. She could help Nygma, while playing the side game to rile her lover up. I mean Vic is way more fun when he’s bloodthirsty. Can’t blame a woman for wanting some excitement, or to be dominated every once in a while.

And Victor is playing right into her plan. If Oswald called a meeting because he’s growing suspicious of this sudden friendship, everyone would have to be there. If there’s one thing Oswald likes, it’s humiliating people. Why do in private what you can do in public instead? Needless to say Maggie and Basil have no clue why they’re being summoned that morning. Oswald’s pretty much locks them all in the room and just glares until someone tells him what he wants to hear. Nobody says anything at first, I mean poor Maggie and Basil have no idea what’s going on. But Victor would be the first to make a move. No words, just a punch straight to Ed’s nose.

He’d pull his gun as the man stumbled back and point it right between his eyes. A challenge to try anything, wether that be making a physical move, or attempting to even speak. Nothing Ed could say would make Victor any less trigger happy.

Maggie is the first to recognise this, and would instantly jump up from here chair.

“Woah, Victor, what the hell are you doing?” She’d ask bewildered.

Victor doesn’t move the gun, just turns his head to look at her and smirks.

“Taking out the trash.”

She’s roll her eyes.

“Nygma, what did you do?” She’s demand.

Maggie might be fairly soft spoken, but everyone could tell there was an urgency in her voice. It was gentle but commanding.

“What makes you think I did anything? The bastards crazy!” Ed defends.

Of course, Basil takes note to the fact that Y/N hasn’t had much of a response to any of this. She never attempted to rise from her seat, and there was no readable emotion on her face. It was suspicious, like she was trying to play innocent. Basil just raises a questioning brow at the woman, who gives no indication she’s going to be revealing anything anytime soon. She just sips from her cup while she watches.

Maggie pinches her brow in annoyance.

“Oswald?”

Despite him very clearly taking a more dominant role in the relationship that they have, Oswald steps forward as if his own mother just called him forward. No hesitation at all. She’d look down at the man.

“Why are we here?”

“They’re plotting something against me, I just know it.” He says, anger in his town.

Maggie hand help the exasperated sigh that leaves her mouth. She’s grown used to playing therapist.

“You’re all hopeless.” She scoffs. “Ok Oz, you’re being paranoid. Nobody in this room is trying to hurt you. Edward, you need to wipe that smug grin off your face, Victor put the damn gun down. And you-“

She’d pause when she gets to Y/N. I mean what can she say, she’s not exactly doing anything. Besides, it would be a weighty punishment if she talked back to the woman. Y/N would raise a challenging brow at the girl, smirking a little.

“Stop being so quiet, it’s creeping me out.” Maggie said, shuddering.

Nothing good ever happened when Y/N was quiet for too long. Quiet meant she was thinking, and hard. Y/N certainly amused by Maggie’s lame attempt at diffusing this situation.

“How can I stop a non-action dear?” Y/N would smirk.

Maggie would just look to Basil for help. He’d just nod his head at Edward, showing he’s the weakest link in the group right now. Maggie would clear her throat and approach.

“Look, Edward, sweetie-“ Riddler does not enjoy her tone right now. “You’re going to have to fess up to what you did sooner or later. Or else none of us are leaving this room. And I swear to you, if I have to miss going to the bookstore with Jim to pick out Bruce a book for his birthday, I am going to rip out your spleen and make you crawl across hot coals to get it back.”

She wasn’t fucking around. If anyone hated plans being interrupted more than Y/N, it’s was Maggie. And plans with Jim none the less, she was currently wanting to scream.

“Wait you’re going book shopping with Jim?” Oswald asks.

Everyone can hear the slight jealousy in his voice. Despite him not sharing affection for the girl in that way, didn’t mean he had to enjoy anyone else showing her said affection.

“Yeah, Bruce has been talking about this specific book for months, only place I can find it is down in the offered. Jim offered to go with me, probably cause he has no idea what to get the kid and wants to leach off my gift. But whatever.”

Not true. Everyone in that room new it’s because Jim didn’t want her alone in the narrows. Always the gentleman, that man. She tried back to Riddler.

“So you’re going to sit down and start talking, or so help me god I’ll just let Victor shoot you.”

Nobody really knew if the girl was being serious.

“I’m serious, I didn’t do anything wrong. Is having friends illegal now?” He questioned.

“Now I get it.” Basil chimed in. “Victor you jealous bastard, you do know your wife is allowed to talk to people right? That’s a basic human right.”

Victor would growl, wanting to shoot the younger man as well.

“Ed, apologise to Victor for making him insecure. Y/N apologise to Oswald for making him paranoid. And Victor, put the fucking gun down before I shove it up your scrawny ass. I’m not fucking around today guys, I don’t have time for this shit.”

“That time of the month?” Victor asked.

Yeah that would be the last straw. Screw an actual showdown between Victor and Edward, right now this was about to be between Victor and God. Of course Victor is going to be holding a grudge on Edward for a long time. Messing up the man’s plans and trying to shoot him at practically any opportunity they have when Maggie’s out of sight. Victor thinks Maggie’s and innocent little kitty cat, and frequently makes fun of the girl for being so soft. But, he’s also seen her shot Sofia with no hesitation because Jim was involved. Honestly he was pretty proud of her for that.

Maggie would turn back to him bewildered.

“What did you just say?”

Oh, she’s bold with it. To talk to the Victor Zsasz like he wasn’t gripping a fully loaded gun right now. Basil would be quick to step in, stepping between his big sis and Victor. Of course he’d love to watch her throw a punch at the guy, but he also knows it’s a fight she can’t win. And nobody in that room is thinking straight. He’d pull her backward into a hug, trapping her against him so she can’t move. She’d put up a valiant effort, kicking and grumbling to try to get out of his arms. Even going so far as to bite him, but he’s undeterred.

“Fine, the two do you kill each other for all I care. And Y/N, I hope whatever you’re planning is worth it.”

She’d convince Basil to let her go.

“I’m getting out of here, Basil you’re on family therapy duty today. Whatever blood is spilt, they’re cleaning it up. If I come back and see a maid doing that shit, I’m setting this entire house on fire with both of them inside.”

She’d walk over to Oswald and kiss him on the cheek. As she does so she swipes the keys from his pocket and walks toward the door. Everyone watches as she goes.

“Be back later, love you all!” She’d say, a clear attempt to try and push down any anger she was feeling.

She didn’t want her mood to be sour when she met up with Jim. As the door shut behind her, everyone just turns to look back at Y/N.

“Oh she’s definitely on her period.” Y/N concluded with a smile. “You heard what the lady said, she wants blood she’d and carnage.” She would sip her drink, even further amused as it dawns on everyone they’ve been used.

“Unbelievable.” Basil says, shaking his head.

But sitting down to watch as Y/N just hands him the full bottle of wine she’d been nursing.

“You’re insane.” Oswald grumbles as he also goes to leave the room.

Victor and Edward just stand there dumbfounded, not sure what to do next. Victor cracks his knuckles.

“I’m going to give you a five minuet head start.” He tells the man in green.

“One- Two-“

Yeah, Edwards supposed to be a genius, so he doesn’t even wait for three before he’s sprinting for the door. He’d have to think of a good way to shake Zsasz. They’d watch after him until he was out of sight. Victor just turns back to his wife.

“You’re not going after him are you?” She asks amused.

“No, that idiot can die tomorrow, you on the other hand-“

And Basil takes that as his que to leave. He knows where all that pent up rage is going to leave. And frankly he doesn’t want to see them hate fuck each other.

An; lol I love sassy Maggie in this chapter. I was just in a silly goofy mood today guys, so so is she. We all know Edward ran to the Sirens club to hide.
