Here are two men who, as young lads, found themselves in a circus, literally. After Mystique abandoned Nightcrawler, he found a home in the circus. The same can be said for Robin, but he was part of the Flying Graysons.

Both proved to be incredibly athletic and acrobatic (you have to be with a name like the Flying Graysons). Nightcrawler, however, has a big advantage with his disappearing act, or mutant powers. I don't know how Robin can overcome that, honestly. Maybe Nightwing could, but not Robin, not at this point.

Therefore, I gotta' go with Nightcrawler here. If the battle lasts long enough, maybe Robin could start to predict some of Nightcrawler's movements and mannerisms, but I don't see that happening.

Hey is NASA astronaut Mag Sivana related to the supervillain with the same surname?

Yep! (...one of my FAVORITE things about my job is that I get to answer absurdist questions like "Is this will respected NASA astronaut related to one of the most infamous nutjobs of the modern era?" give a totally reductive yet honest answer and then watch the look on people's faces.) Anyway!

(A tabloid photograph of Mag Sivana, it was the first one I found) Magnificus Sivana (no seriously, that's his name, you will see that his family has a habit of this) is the eldest son of Dr. Thaddeus Bodog Sivana and his first wife Venus Sivana (That is all the attention I am going to be calling to the names. It is what it is, we are moving on). Because the elder Sivana is such a well known bastard in the modern day its easy to forget that a few decades ago he was mostly known as a technical genius, business innovator and corporate shark. Building up the world renowned "Sivana Industries" through a mix of his very honest genius and every lowdown, dirty tactic in the business books. This of course changed with the debut of Captain Marvel in Sivana's native Fawcett City where, like Lex Luthor a few scant years before him Sivana would become an instant rival of his city's new superhero due to his obvious and pervasive corruption but before that while his corruption was JUST as well known (Media of the era would hardly mention his name without trotting out the truism "Love to Hate" about the man) but in an 80s stockbroker sense.

In fact, just LIKE Lex Luthor, a man with whom their similarities seem to have sparked a decades long deep antipathy between the two men, Sivana was ALSO known as a philanderer and womanizer. His first major sex scandal caused the breakup of his marriage to his first wife, Venus who separated from Sivana along with their two oldest children Magnificus and Beautia.

Once his obsession with getting one over on Captain Marvel drove Sivana Sr DIRECTLY off his rocker turning him into a living parody of mad scientists somewhere between Dr. Frankenstein and the Cryptkeeper, Sivana's family became rather infamous mostly down to his younger children Georgia and Thaddeus Jr who often assisted their father in his harebrained schemes. The older siblings, Magnificus and Beautia preferred to lay low and did not advertise their relation to the man. There's a reason that in most polite company Magnificus goes by 'Mag' and his sister goes by 'Tia'. Mag had a short but eventful career in the air force where he showed great apatite in the fields of suborbital physics putting him on the short list of NASA's Aphrodite program for a manned flyby of Venus. He was temporarily caught up in his father's orbit helping to lure Captain Marvel into a trap but his better nature overcame his familial obligation and he helped the good Captain escape the trap and stop his father. He is, as of this moment, the only non superhuman to have visited Venus' orbit. Ever since then he's taken a step back from being a full time astronaut and works in some kind of technical capacity at NASA. If you ever get a chance to meet him, ask him about literally ANY of the fascinating parts of his life that don't involve his family history yea?

Feeling incredibly bad about not being able to welcome in Billy, Tim pocketed his phone as he swiftly walked to where the game room is. Though he did justify in his head that he had been too busy trying to decode the evidence on a case he’s been working on to notice the time. Tim stopped outside the slightly-opened door, stepping in to try and find where Billy is in this big space. "Billy?"

I saw fanfic in which Jon,damien,billy are friends (damien stalked captain Marcel and found out billy,3 months of hanging out damien brings Jon in the loop) and then I saw a headcon about y/n being Jonh constantein daughter so imagine damien,Jon,billy are fed up by overly strict laws of the JLA and for reason they quite then we have Ginny(Jonh's daughter's name by me)who loves annoying Damian,cause why not?join the trio from another secret group many other OC's Jion later on,so this grip basically steals,scam 's bad guys while pretending to be bad guy 's and use the money either for good cause or to grown their Little Blaze they also help refugees aliens by saving them from bad guy and taking them to far way parts of space(which are still undiscovered by other),the point is JLA and LOV dont know who they Are like some people defeat bad guys not only on earth in space too,like how and worst superman can't see the face even with x-ray vision due to a little manic genius mechanic kid in their group. Meanwhile Ginny & group think They are bad guy 's cause. Which heroes loot people (bad ones)?

realistically i do know captain marvel's sort of wobbly history with the dcu magic community isn't always on even ground at times simply bc it seems he’s normally portrayed as a betweener character type - where he can slip between teams without it feeling particularly wrong (regardless of being aesthetically/characteristically out of place). like there is something a little unfair about him being made to hold positions of power in their circle without actually feeling like he's participating in that world meaningfully. his interactions with the magical portion of the world extend usually to group situations which is pretty unique but it also means he has no real positive one-on-ones with those characters either (do not throw constantine at me on this topic. theres not enough pr in the world enough to save marvelfam fans anymore). at the end of the day i just think it's fascinating that after decades past the early 1970s dc still feels like it hasn't got a handle on captain marvel's other-ness because of these sorts of crossovers but still wants to underline his relevancy (or further, his power level in comparison to others).

Cobra Commander and The Joker are two of the more ruthless, annoying, and (at the same time) dangerous villains there are.

Cobra Commander is definitely more of the weaselly, run away when times get tough type. Still, he’ll fire a weapon without a second thought.

Meanwhile, The Joker will get physically involved and has more of a haphazard attitude when it comes to his battles. He prefers to fight when he knows he has the upper hand, but, if not, he usually has an escape plan or backup plan.

Whether it’s weapons or another way to gain the advantage, it’s hard to catch The Joker off his game. That’s why I think The Joker wins this. Cobra Commander will put up a fight to begin with, but The Joker will outsmart him.

Happy Discount chocolate egg day, hope your weekend was well. The Big Cheese (Captain Marvel/Shazam) has had a lot of extended family members over the years (Tawny, the Lutenist, etc.) are there any less well known members that (in your opinion) should have a light shown on them?

I think the sheer MASS of the Marvel Family can be put down to the fact that, as I've said before, Fawcett People are very very proud of being Fawcett people. If you took the civic pride of all of Texas and crushed it to the density of one medium sized East Coast metropolitan area you would end up with somewhere a little UNDER where Fawcett people are at (I should know, I work with one. She has MULTIPLE tattoos to prove the point, she would be the first to correct you that Marvel's nickname is the Big RED Cheese.) There's also the matter of the Superman or Metropolis Theory, which is a sociological theory that posits superheroes tend to sprout outwards once they take root which is why heroes like Metropolis or Gotham have so many superheroes once a single high profile hero becomes established. Superhero shenanigans tend to attract more superhero shenanigans. That being said, let's discuss my answer. Which would be obvious to anyone who knows me even a little.

(Deanna Barr AKA Windshear swooping in on some criminals!) Deanna is, obviously, the only daughter of Jim Barr and Susan Kent-Barr the original Golden Age Bulletman and Bulletgirl. Born a while after their retirement Deanna grew up with stories of her parents' exploits that had been the original inspiration to Fawcett City, a legacy that even after the HUAC trial forced the end of the original heroic age never went away (take a shot every time a Fawcett establishment is named either "Bullet" or some pun on that name). Inspired by her parents' high flying adventures she became a pilot with the US Air Force climbing the ranks quickly to the position of test pilot for high risk, high reward experimental aircraft projects. She probably never assumed she'd have to slip on her mother's tights (literally, with only very minor alterations Deanna wears her mother's costume in the modern day) until the Marvel Family ran up against a villainess by the name of Chain Lightning who nearly spelled the end for them. Pulling her father out of retirement she donned her mother's special helmet and swooped onto the scene as Windshear! Now as you can imagine from that origin story Deanna is STRICTLY part time. Most of the time Fawcett has the core Marvels to hold everything together but every so often when things are getting overstretched she steps in and steps up. Plus any time that she sees a situation where she might be able to help, disasters and the like. I find myself always appreciating these part time heroes because they sound so much like what most of US would hopefully endeavor to be like if we had powers and talents somewhere in the metahuman realm. We'd do our best to maintain the lives we have and do what we can to help those within our reach. Though I suppose that's an equally good rundown of what the "full time" superheroes ALSO do. The superhero life LETTING you be part time is probably more down to luck than choice. Now I get to post this and have my coworker tell me why I got it all wrong. Cest la vie.

Found out something; While yes i a capable of taking care of myself, i actually miss being taken care of or fret over alot. So now i am emotional mess trying to convince myself that i am a big boy now but at the same time i want just want to be carried over to bed, tucked in and receive a good night kiss. I wish to feel safe again. it hurts.
