Poi iniziano i rimedi casalinghi...
Fatevi un favore, state fermi.

Does anyone know any young filmmakers?
I write for an online magazine and my editor, I guess, gave me permission to chose my own subject. She suggested I find a young filmmaker to cover since I like film. Funny, I know NO young filmmakers (sad, true story), but does anyone else?
The premise of the blog/online magazine is covering young people trying to change the world or at least make a difference, or just start something. So it really could be anyone, but the point is they can't be hugely famous. But a little known. So yeah anyone?

this is not a review for this is not a podcast the podcast
this not a review for "this is not a podcast the podcast." but check it out anyway.

Do you listen to podcasts? It’s cool if you do, and even better if you don’t. The internet has been flooded with podcasts whose hosts get into all sorts of conversations. Joe Rogan gets into the controversially bizarre, Ben Shapiro gets into the politically conservative, and Alex Jones used to get into controversially conservative. Meanwhile, there are podcasts like The No Jumper Showfor your…

Though the Bookcase - The Anne Frank House
What does religion mean to me? In terms of faith, not that much. Though my heritage lies in Judaism, daily or weekly practice has been nonexistent in my life. A Hanukkah prayer and a few words here and there make up the extent of the Hebrew I can speak. Knowing the history of the Jewish religion and my own family’s personal history, I sometimes regret not immersing myself more in the beliefs. Sometimes I don’t feel qualified to label myself as Jewish. If I walk into a temple, I feel the word “outsider” painted across my forehead. But I still want to respect the influences my ancestors have left on my family today.
Fortunately for my family though, my great-grandparents evaded the devastation of the Holocaust and were already living in America. If anything had happened, I don’t think I would ever be able to enter the doors to this infamous hiding spot. Even if my great-grandparents were at a safe distance, I always wondered how they felt about what was occurring in their lifetime to their own people. Helplessness? Horror? Rage? Knowing the temperament of my grandparents today, I can guess the latter to be most accurate.
It’s been a long weekend in Amsterdam. New sights, smells, and sounds bombard us on every street. We’re were whisked this way and that through the various centuries of Dutch history still alive today as a part of our first travel excursion during our semester abroad. The Anne Frank House is one of the last stops I’ll make in this city and one I looked forward to the most. Having reread the diary a few years ago, the story is still fresh in my mind. The message Anne leaves behind is only fresher.
We sit through a short information session where photos documenting the lives of the Franks and other families hiding mounted the walls. Pictures of Anne’s real life. In all the years I’ve read about Anne Frank, even after reading the diary, my mind never fully realized the reality of this situation. Now it does. Now it has to.
The stairs up the house climb at almost a ninety degree angle. My feet must turn sideways to fit on the thin step. Any sense of gravity is gone as my knees graze against what would be the floor, and I wonder how Miep Gies climbed these almost everyday and what pace had to take them at. I continue moving up and stopping with the crowd like a heavily congested highway, until I finally place my feet on the landing.
Right across in the next room, right in my plane of vision lies the bookcase into the annex. I make a step toward it, wondering if that’s the direction we need to go in. It’s right there, in plain sight. Unlike the books on its shelf, it would not give up its tragic story to just anyone.
Instead of my desire to continue straight, the line shuffles around the corner. Visitors press their noses to the glass, peering at the model diagrams of the annex. The museum must want to mentally prepare us for what lies beyond the next few rooms. Or maybe they want to show us that it’s possible to make the annex look even smaller than it really is.
For now, light streams into the room from the windows. I turn to look out onto the canal and the modern world lies below. It’s as though I’m placed in some strange limbo between now and the time when the Franks hid for their lives in this house. Quotations from the book in both Dutch and English flow across the walls as if they were always there. Her voice carries through the walls, ushering each visitor through her inner thoughts and rooms of the house. Even though the time spent hiding in 267 Prinsengracht was cut short, Anne’s presence in the house will always be permanent.
Her diary contains the lives of the residents of the annex, but it’s not until one steps inside the house do they come to life. The smiling photographs of Anne, Margot, Edith, Otto, the van Pels, and Franz Pfeffer are plastered on the wall. A plaque placed underneath gives just the year of the birth almost as if they were still living. Yet I don’t find myself smiling as they are in blissful unawareness. Oddly enough, most of the photographs show the person looking away, happy at someone or something else. But Anne looks directly at the camera, as she does in any of her pictures. Her smile shines the brightest, as if she knows people admire her today like she hoped they would seventy years ago.
The floorboards creak under the many dragging footsteps of tourists. Children, scared to go too far ahead, run back to their parents. Foreign mumblings swirl in and out of my ears. The line continues its stop and go consistency and suddenly I’m right in front of it.
The bookcase juts out at an angle, creating a triangle between itself and the wall. A tight cord holds it in place, which makes it seem like it hasn’t been budged for years. The three shelves are stuffed with thick spines, almost binder-like, in varying shades of brown and black. At the bottom, a metal hole big enough for a few fingers pokes through into the interior. The contents of each binder remain shut to the curious visitor who stops to look.
The crevice into the Secret Annex is a tight one, made for one person to edge around it at a time. I raise my fingers to the wood, eager to feel a bit of history graze them. The smoothness invites me to press my fingers down even further. A shiver lingers in my spine as the ghost of Nazi footprints linger on the floorboards, no matter how many shoes have walked over them. My own feet have to trace them.
A new world opens up beyond the bookcase. The back is just as smooth as the side, a door with no handle and the only boundary from the real world for the inhabitants.
The smallness sticks out the most. In ten steps I could reach the other side of what was the living room. A prayer book belonging to Edith Frank lies encased in glass at one side of the room. I scan the Hebrew, knowing that I’m illiterate to it, but wishing I could find out what the page said.
I try to imagine what life as it went on in the 1940s for the residents of the Secret Annex, where people were walking around to, what they were doing. It’s all in attempt for my mind to grasp that people no different than myself or anyone I know lived here, were trapped here.
The original wallpaper still holds onto the walls, as far as I’m concerned. I can’t help but feel this too. Unlike the wood, I feel the bumps of the wall and the ridges from the pale yellow flower wallpaper pattern. Even with the lights overhead, the room appears only dimly lit. The windows are still plastered with black coverings. Whispers floats through the air, otherwise all is quiet. I walk with a more delicate step, afraid to make too much noise. This place, with its bare floors, is not a place for talking.
The width of Anne’s and Franz Pfeffer’s room measures about the size of a storage closet. This room contains the most personality, however. Or to be more precise, it contains the most of Anne’s personality. The various clippings and pictures, some whole and others with ripped corners, from magazines remain stuck to the wall. I stare at the wall and as many pictures as I can, wondering how long it took Anne to decorate the room and the reason she chose these pictures.
From the diagrams shown to us before of Anne’s room, her bed and Franz’s bed lay less than a foot from each other. In the back of the room where I entered was where the desk had been where Anne wrote her heart away. Of course, the room is now open and not crammed with cots. Movement is much freer to the door, leading into the one bathroom. Before walking on into the next room, I close my eyes and imagine the room in my head, this time fully furnished. Anne sits at her desk, bent over her red and white plaid diary and scribbles away furiously. She suddenly stops, and looking up, flashes a bright smile, then returns to her work. It’s that same smile that she wears in all her photographs, filled with the hope that so many desperately wish came true.

Finally writing some more?? WOW??
So, I used to be active here om tumblr, and unfortunately, I've fallen off of being active here, but I figured "gee if I wanted to talk bout writing here, I guess I could," so here I am.
Was working on a pilot for a series for a WHILE, just needing to pitch it. Had a script for a comic, but don't have funds for an artist to tackle the project, so whatevs, and my leftover project was this Wattpad story I'm writing from a story I'd written waaaaay back when. I figured, if my fanfic took off on a site that is big on fanfic and original stories, I could try my luck there. My issue at the moment is, my hiatus from the fanfic writing had been several years, and even though I see my fanfic still getting engagement, I worry it isn't enough to really get attention on the original story I'm posting chapters on :/ So that's an issue.
Aside from that, the story I'm writing is a trilogy, with each of the three books being fairly short in its length, like less than 10 chapters, and I worry that won't be engaging enough if it does eventually pick up in reader traffic. Hoping there's be some input there? Question mark?
On another note, I started taking a break from THAT story a few weeks ago, and had been working on another screenplay. After watching the Percy Jackson show, I thought "gee what a solid adaption, lemme try that," so I decided to take a book from a series written by an author who just so happens to be a twitter mutual of mine (yay me) and try to adapt it into a pilot. It wasn't entirely random, because the author and I had both tweeted saying the book would do SO well as a Netflix series. So, I took it upon myself to try another project and adapt that book into a pilot episode.
Now that I finished that, the writer hasn't really gotten back to me showing any interest in reading it, but I think that's a legal thing with "unsolicited writing" collabs or whatever. Anyway, I digress. The Wattpad story is my current focus again, but concerns are there :(( Any thoughts?
If anybody is curious about the story, I'll link it down below; "The Dark Within Us".

Set your parameters: Once you have chosen your blog writer, you can set the parameters for generating content. That can include the length of the content, the tone and style, the keywords to have, and the level of research required.
Review and edit: While AI blog writers can produce high-quality content, reviewing and editing must ensure it meets your standards. That can involve checking for grammar and spelling errors, providing the content is on topic, and making necessary changes to improve readability.
Publish and promote: Once your content is ready, you can publish it on your blog or website and promote it on social media and other channels. AI blog writers can help you produce a steady stream of content, which can improve your search engine rankings and drive traffic to your site.
