Special Guest Stars [PODFIC]: A Cowie Podfics & Outrageous Ring Collaboration

If you've been following along with @outrageousring5655's podfics from @cemeteryangel725's Ren Faire series you're in for a treat with this next instalment! It's the first appearance of two characters who go on to have more than guest star billing in the Of Fire and Falcons series. And who doesn't want two more Crowley-like men in on the action?! I was so happy to get to join Ring on the narration on this one too!

most interesting trope listed! not always done well, especially if it's pretty clear that the writer is closer in age to the younger one in the scenario and is projecting some fantasy shit onto the older one (not necessarily a deal-breaker though; i've seen some fun smut come out of this sort of thing). what i really like is when this trope is used to highlight some of the trickier aspects of these relationships, forcing the characters to navigate complex issues.

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Okay! Well, I'm JaLindsey Jacobson. I'm 28 years old. I just had a birthday back on March 17th. I currently live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I was born in Helena, Montana. I LOVE horseback riding, and this fitness embankment has changed my life.

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Yeah! Nova Scotia. Halifax, to be exact. My parents relocated there from my home in Montana when I was like... 12 or 13, because my dad was offered a new position there, opening a land scaping office because the company he was working for wanted to expand. They asked my dad, and he wanted the promotion and off to Nova Scotia we went. And about 15 years later... I'm still there.

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ Now that's a cool way to get there. I hear Nova Scotia is a beautiful place. So, how did that move, and basically going from Montana to Nova Scotia, lead you to the health and fitness world?

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Actually, it didn't! I didn't get into this industry until about 9 months ago. Before this, I was doing makeup in the mall and selling insurance. It wasn't until I met "The Boss" online on this dating app called TAGGED about 10 months ago. And, to keep a long-long story short, I met him 10 months ago, and on my 28th birthday, I launched my new workout program, and now I'm sitting in front of you. DAMN!!! 😥

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ Hey! I can see you're getting emotional. I definitely understand. But let's give a shout-out to "The Boss"! We definitely appreciate you, Big Guy!

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ We definitely do! He's really changed the direction of my life, added some more value to it, as well as given me a purpose to look forward to everyday. Because being in this situation that I'm in today... was NOT on my Bingo card.

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ Okay, Ms. Ja-Ja (If You're NASTY) You've just launched your new (In-Home) workout program, give the people some insight on your program.

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ (She giggles) "Ms. Ja-Ja, If You're NASTY!" A little Janet Jackson reference. Well... 1st off, this whole entire idea was "The Boss's" idea. I knew nothing about the fitness industry. And to be honest, it never really crossed my mind until Mr. La' VON brought it up to me in one of our late night conversations. He asked me to think about it, and I did for like... 2 days or so, and we talked more about it, and I was mentally intrigued. Then I said... "FUCK IT!" Let's do it!

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ Nice! So when you say; "All his idea," can you elaborate a little for me?

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Yeah, Uh, being that he already owns and developed the "Strategic Fitness Exercises" program, what Mr. La' VON wanted me to do is learn 8 or 9 of the basic workout routines, practice them, and add them to my daily life routine, but I had to be committed to them. So, just about every day, he would coach me through them on FaceTime and on the phone. He FUCKING pushed the hell out of me for like seven months. I hated his ass for a long time! And still do, a little. 😂🤣😂

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ That sounds exactly like "The Boss," too! Okay! So when did this become your program? When did it feel like you're ready to put your name on this?

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Great question, love! After eight months of doing this program. It completely changed my body, mind, soul & spirit. I was 145 pounds with a little belly flab. Shorter hair, and I was actually a little darker, too. But what happened was... I gained about 25 (pounds), lost my belly, and started getting abs. Also, my body transformed, and I got cut and ripped, and there were no weights involved. I got healthier, my hair started to grow, and now I'm... Ms. Ja-Ja "If You're NASTY!" 🤣

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ Trust Me! I know exactly what you're talking about because I've already done your program two times already, but of course, you know that. But for the people... when did it all get put together?

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ YES! I know!😍 Well... here's the short version. After New Year's Eve, "The Boss," and I were on FaceTime, and I performed the entire 1 hour routine for him. He watched every single second, and when I finished, He said; "You Passed"! "Congratulations!" and I, immediately, broke down into tears.😭

*Drew-Thomas:➡️ I'm getting emotional just listening to you tell your story. So when did it become ready for the world?🌍🌏🌎

**JaLindsey Jacobson:✨️ Well... after that, La' VON said; "You won't hear from me for a month, but keep doing your program." And sure enough, February 1st, he messaged me (I was kinda missing him too!🥰 I ain't gonna lie!) and he broke everything down to me. The name, business concept, money, and everything involved. I was so mesmerized by everything all that I could think was "let's get started"! And that's exactly what I said to him. Two weeks later, everything arrived, I got started, recorded everything he asked me to, and how. I emailed everything back to him a week later, and BOOM!💥 My 44💪44 (In-Home) workout program was born!

Hello, guys! Missed me? Long time no fic, huh? Well, let me fix this. Although it’s from another fandom yet again, I still hope you’ll like it.😗

Anyways, as the summary says, this doesn’t include manga spoilers, but as I am getting spoiler-ed over on twttr and the net in general, I think I have stepped on some minor(?) things. So, yes, that’s it for foreword. I really hope you’ll N’joy this little something-something.🤗

Three months.

That’s how long it took for Itadori Yuuji’s cosmotheory to turn upside down.

In this short span of time, Yuuji had learnt that monsters are real. They get born from the negative feelings of humanity and hungrily prey and feed off of peoples’ fear, shame, hate, regret…

… blood.

They bring mayhem into the human lives in order to cause enough pain to illicit such emotions, so they can sustain themselves and grow stronger. With each passing day they remain unresolved, they become more dangerous and harder to deal with. Eventually, these voracious spirits — curses as they’re called — will evolve into these walking, talking, intelligent forms of existence that can take more than just the life of a human being.

These curses, savagely devour the very soul of their victim.

But Yuuji has also learnt, that there’s a secret society that has taken upon fighting these nightmarish things. It’s just a handful of humans with abilities that far exceed what once he considered common sense; the jujutsu sorcerers.

These people are just like any other. They laugh, they cry, they resent.

They however, put their lives on the line with every battle they fight, so that the rest of the world will be safe. 

They all do it without expecting anything in return or knowing whether they will be able to get back alive and are forced to silently suffer the losses of their friends in this ever waging war.

Yuuji, admires that kind of resolve.

But as long as it goes through his hand, he will never allow a curse to take anyone from him.

That said, in that same time, he’s gotten painfully aware of some things about himself he’d never admit would rather not have known…

For one, he’s still terribly weak. He’s nowhere near as strong as he considered himself to be when facing these abominations.

Then, comes the fact that he’s actually sane enough to be scared of dying, something he hadn’t been expecting to be of much effect on him since he had made his mind about taking responsibility for helping with Sukuna’s containment. 

And finally, there’s his shame over being unable to flatly adhere by his ideals, after having already been forced to cross red lines he’d promised himself would never cross.

And that all, circles back to his weakness.

In the end, he’s helplessly mortal…

Only human.

Yuuji has made these mental workouts several times throughout the past two months, and he’s always left feeling unsatisfied with his progress after reflecting on each breakthrough coupled with a new throwback.

Yuuji furrows his brows and squeezes his closed eyes until it’s nothing but complete blackness. 

‘It’s irritating.’

When will he finally be able to protect everyone with his own strength?
