At the end LWJ breaks/hurts his ankle really badly on the way to a cabin to have sex in Olympics gear, and then they get married.

B) WWX comes back in a random cultivator's body while LWJ is recovering from the discipline whip, and he sneaks into the Cloud Recesses to learn about A-Yuan. I'm looking for match-making fic where Jin Zixuan (tired of wwx constantly interrupting family time with his wife and newly born son) decides the best way to get him out of the way is to matchmake him with someone. I think he tries Nie Mingjue mainly, because they have similar interests, etc.

Jiang Cheng also gets roped in, but he thinks Jin Zixuan is nuts the whole time. NMJ thinks Wei wuxian is definitely flirting with him at some point because his muscles get complimented? Lan Xichen has to reassure him that "no, he is just like that".

It's a comedy of errors mainly, because LWJ and WWX definitely have something going on between them, and it ends with them running off with horses to elope into the sunset or smth. Jiang Yanli doesn't know her husband's matchmaking scheme, but she does know about wwx and lwj and helps them elope at the end.

Pretty sure it was a short fic, ignores canon and occurs in a what-if scenario where the whole burial mounds situation didn't happen.

Rainbowsky, lrlg had posted the same image of #see you next time# on 5th September’22 but then lrlg was updated on 11th September’22.

So, why are most BXGs taking that post in a negative way? I thought they wrote that caption because it has been 3 months they have not posted lrlg rumour and also because CQL was removed from WYB’s bio. I thought it was a consolation from them like saying “Don’t worry. We will post soon and in a better way.”

But I also agree YBO who once posted at 20:33 multiple times will never edit 33 from the jacket‘s sleeve. And WYB would not want to remove singer, dancer from his bio. May be YBO staffs are really changed and I have to soon accept this fact.

No one knows for sure. Some people think that it's just a post saying, "Hey you'll hear from me soon," but most seem to believe that they were removed from the team as part of the shuffle. The surrounding circumstances, some of which you mentioned above, seem to suggest so.

With everything that's happened over the past few days - rumors of a team purge, CQL being removed from his bio, YBO trying to edit candy out of a photo - turtles are understandably on edge.

One thing everybody seems to agree on is that we will hear from LRLG again in the future. Maybe sooner than we think. Hopefully everybody is panicking for no reason and we will have a new 🔴🟢 post before we know it, whether from DD's team or from GG's.

But we should brace ourselves for the possibility that we won't hear from LRLG for quite a while, and in any case, with YBO's apparent change in approach regarding turtles it would seem stormy seas are ahead.

The real point of my post is just to remind everybody that we have to stay strong and continue giving DD our love and support. We can't turn against him because of what is happening with his team. No matter what, we are loved and supported by GG and DD, and everything will be OK.

Aside from my personal life issues and to those who think yibo rose to stardom because of cql need to get a life and maybe check their source of information again.

Yibo's been on the grind since he was 13 and he's been working hard on all his projects. It's true a lot of recent fans came to know him through cql because of the thai/korean bl/mdzs to cql road but yibo has other projects in all sorts of places whether is dancing, racing, acting or sports. Just check out produce 101, SDC or his content as tracer85.

Claiming to leave him and do protest just because he removed a five year old project from his bio is so pathetic. I swear all those people who are on the front lines of these protests only support him for their fanfic content and personal gains.

probably 95% of the time, yeah! even if it’s just a “thanks for commenting, glad you liked the fic!” i think it’s important readers know that i’m not just some faceless set of hands posting—i am a real person, as much a part of whatever fandom i’m in as any lurkers.

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

uhhhh well. there’s one i wrote that’s canon-compliant for cql? but i feel like canon-compliant mcd doesn’t count. other than that………i THINK i wrote a “newt dies” fanfic back in ‘19 or ‘20.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

no idea how to go at this question, honestly. with few exceptions, my writing is all either happy endings, or hopeful endings. i don’t have the emotional bandwidth to leave something an open wound, you know? but “the things in this forest have teeth and claws” was probably the most personally-settling things i’ve written.

yeah, sometimes. i haven’t had this problem since i migrated to ao3, but it did happen on ffnet. before i stopped crossposting to ffnet some time in ‘20/‘21, i got someone calling me a “fat f*g hag”, so. 9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

as a rule, no; it’s not really my thing. i prefer to explore interpersonal intimacy in other ways. that’s not to say i won’t imply smut, though—it’s something the characters i write about engage with as part of the course of their lives, and i don’t have any interest in ignoring that, either, even if i don’t explicitly write it out.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

i used to write more crossovers, but now i mainly write fusions (dæmon/hdm fusions and pacrim fusions are some of my favourites). i think probably the wildest fusion i can think of is the tma/iasip fic i wrote one time. i read it the other day, and while it’s a little rough, most of it still holds up, and it’s pretty funny.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

not to my knowledge, no. just in case, though, i have a disclaimer in my ao3 bio about any works appearing anywhere besides my ao3 or ffnet (same user) is stolen and i do not authorise it to be there.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

someone asked me years ago (in 2019, i believe) if they could translate one of my pacrim fics into russian. i haven’t heard from them since, though, so effectively the answer here is “no”.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

a couple times! it’s a bit hard because you have to do a lot of coordinating and planning, and that’s assuming the fanfic doesn’t just wind up languishing in the draft/idea phase forever.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

this is going to sound silly, but—ozma of oz/dorothy gale. look, i read all the oz books i could get my hands on as a child, and i was always fascinated with their “close friendship” (i wonder why!)

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

i have a wip that was grandfathered in from my friend emma, who wound up leaving fandom (good for her; as she tells it, her mental health improved because of this), that i sometimes stare longingly at with a deeply bittersweet fondness. it’s hannigram, and will probably never be finished because trying to rewatch the show just makes me incalculably angry at brian fuller.

16. What are your writing strengths?

description! i’ve been told i am able to paint the things i write so vividly they almost feel real. i also enjoy descriptive writing, which probably helps.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

plots that aren’t character-driven. i’m a character writer first and foremost, and my projects generally are emotionally-driven, so i don’t have much chance to try and write action-driven plots. which is fine by me, i’m not terribly interested in them. if there’s action in my writing, it’s almost invariably in service to character.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

depends on how it’s handled. it can either be very good, or very bad.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

to absolutely no one’s surprise, warrior cats. this was back in the days of writing fanfic by hand and hiding it away. my oldest still-published fanfic, though, is a discontinued 2017 warrior cats fanfic that centres a deaf apprentice. it’s a pity i never kept any notes for this fanfic (or, if i did, they at some point got lost), because i think the concept is fascinating.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

self-indulgence is the rule here, so probably “best laid plans”, a very silly concept that accidentally acquired a lot of emotion to it. oops!

Any headcanons I write that includes another canon character are based on my view of that character (or Huaisang's view) and if you rp that muse it's up to you if you agree with I wrote and want to integrate that into our rp/history. I'll never force my hc about another muse onto someone else.

Things that will usually lead to soft blocking: untagged nakked images, call-out posts, repeated ooc drama posts (not talking daily life venting, but actually tumblr drama shit), breaking my rules.

Things that will lead to being blocked: I see you posting anything hate-fueled ooc, such as aphobia/acephobia, transphobia, Romaphobia/antiziganism etc. This includes posts about hating ALL men (yes cis men included), if I find out that you've sent hate or threat to others.

hello anon! I assume you mean 'sangyao' rather than 'songyao,' because I, um. ...while I am sure that there is someone out there who has written some flavour of jin guangyao/song lan and ships it for whatever reason, I am not that person lol. the other ship I enjoy sailing in this weird, fucked up little novel about gay sword wizards is jin guangyao/nie huaisang, and I enjoy it because it is so satisfyingly crunchy.

I'll preface this by saying a couple of things which may seem a little weird, but they bear mentioning anyway because I think my way of enjoying non-xiyao ships with jgy is not the norm lol. so:

I don't consider sangyao to be a 'canon' ship in the same way that I do xiyao (I'll die and kill on that hill, esp wrt how it's portrayed in the untamed/cql, but that's neither here nor there), which means I don't think there's a defendable argument to be made based on what we're given in the text alone to state that jgy and nhs have reciprocal romantic feelings for each other. however--

what they do have in spades, especially in cql, is fantastic on-screen (or in-text) chemistry, and pathos, and a shared victimization by nmj, and Tragedy™️, and in the magical land of transformative fiction, I fuck with that shit heavily. 👀 god what wouldn't I give for a post-canon soliloquy by nhs just going full-hamlet on the audience about killing his ophelia, if ophelia in this context also was the one who murdered his father. (and.. married his... mother..??? nevermind it's not going to transpose perfectly but you get what I'm saying.) if anyone has the chops for it in-character, you know it's nhs.

imo, jgy's love and devotion to lxc is something so integral to his character across all adaptations of mdzs that even when I ship jgy with other characters (e.g., nhs, su she, or even jiang cheng), I still write him as being in love with lxc at the same time. ('write,' she says, as if she has actually gotten any mdzs fic to a state where it is fit to be shared with the internet. lol) this last point is one that I don't believe is commonly shared amongst other people who enjoy shipping jgy with nhs or other characters, and that's fine obviously. I'm just mentioning it to emphasize that maybe my particular brand of sangyao brainworms are not the same species of sangyao brainworms commonly found in other corners of the fandom. but this isn't a bug for me with sangyao, this is a feature--because think of all the ways you can lean into this to create beautiful, painful romantic friction between jgy and nhs in this context? "why won't san-ge give up doing shitty things for his shitty father and just come back to qinghe with me?" well, a-sang, if he wouldn't do that even for lan xichen, why would he do it for you? just... just twist that knife, just a little.

I've written in a couple other places specifically about why I enjoy this ship: here (along with why I also enjoy suyao and... do not enjoy nie//yao, at all), as well as here, where I dig down into the stuff that throws me right out of the immersion of the story vis-a-vis jgy's characterization. (tl;dr, jgy doesn't want to be a nie, and he does not want to hurt nhs, at all, period, before the guanyin temple confrontation).

also, all the late canon sangyao vibes contained in all their beautiful, terrible multitudes inside artworks like these.

I hope these are adequate sangyao brainworms for you, anon!

Zhang Jing Tong (myu actress) did SUCH a great job with the expressions. you can see the instant she realizes that lp is going to be some kind of office under the wen sects rather than retaining their autonomy, and you can see exactly how she feels about it. this is the breaking point. not being forced to remove the hand of their top disciple, but being forced to give over authority of their home

this line is like one of the top lines in the show. it says so much about how she views wwx and their dynamic. 'she just wanted to push him to his full potential' my ASS. this is all about her prestige and her power

I always feel a little guilty for cheering her on when she's being so classist and elitist. a weird thing the show does. also at the end with lxc slapping jgy. with a protag like wwx, you're still going to lean into sect hierarchies like that?

1. whats your favorite thing to rant/ramble about?

okay so i have autism AND adhd so i have a lot of opinions and things to say about almost everything so i go on nightly 1-2 hour rant about whatever topic i feel like and my parents just have to listen to it lmaooo. some topics that come up a lot tho are my favorite pieces of media (i.e cql/mdzs, vampire fiction, ptg, games i played recently, movies i watched recently, etc etc), my oc lore, new marine bio/astrophysics/science facts i learned, things that piss me off, and politics (which is usually inder the things that piss me off category)

for example tonight i ranted about how much i hate new age spirituality/wicca/metaphysical manifestation stuff and how its all right wing racist appropriation conspiracy bs which turned into me talking about various LEGITIMATE folk religions and practices that ive been researching which turned into me talking about creatures in those practices that scare me which turned into me ranting about how terrible horror movies are recently which turned into me ranting baout how terrible horror video games are recently which FINALLY turned into me explaining the entire plot and mechanics of Pathologic and why it is ranked as one of my top three games of all time despite it being objectively One Of The Worst Video Game Experiences Of All Time (which was done on purpose by the developers theatre of cruelty style)

2. do you have any oddly specific love languages?

i have two! one is if we are in close physical proximity to you i will learn what your specific like superstition? not the word im looking for but whatever ANYWAYS ill learn what superstition you have about good luck/having a good day and whenever i see you're having a bad day ill sneakily arrange for that thing to happen to you so you feel better

like for example if you think that finding a penny in your pocket means you're gonna have a good day ill sneak a penny into your pocket!

my second one is i LOVE making gift packages for people i care about like if i find stuff that reminds me of said person i will collect them so i can send a big bundle of stuff their way! and it doesn't necessarily have to be stuff i bought like ive personally sent you flowers that i pressed myself and ive sent sandy bread i baked from scratch with a handwritten letter on paper i made myself etc etc etc it just makes me happy to give people a whole package of stuff perfectly tailored for them

21. whats a random piece of advice you want to give?

theres a lot i can say here that ive typed and deleted a bunch of times bc i couldnt choose just one thing to say and i also didn't want to get up on a soapbox and start preaching so i guess ill just leave it as: nice is not the same thing as kind, kind is not the same thing as correct, nice and kind are not the same things as just. you do not have to be polite or kind to be good and sometimes to do the right thing it is necessary to be abrasive/rude/a bitch
